Bad url fix does not work, Skype still crashes when this string has been sent to group chat. People on the group chat are unable to load up Skype properly.

Need to get rid of bar across top saying plug-ins are not up-to-date. The "fix" posted for Windows does not work on my Mac. When I try for updates, none seem to install. How do I really find out if the ones I have are the latest available for my system? Everything seems to work OK as is. Could it be that my Mac is PPC and that there are plug-in updates that would work in 10.4 on Intel but not on PPC, and that FireFox cannot differentiate?

When you do a select, you need to select into a variable..
select ' Print PDF Version of the report ' url INTO <Variable>from dual
Are you trying to run an Oracle Report from APEX??

BAdI: CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA - CHECK_ALL_DATA does not work as expected?!

Hi,
to display custom fields (from a KNVV-append) in the customer (transaction VD0x) , I've implemented the two BAdIs CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS corresponding to the note 577502.
This works fine. We have a new button in the customer master data and a new screen with our custom fieds.
Now, before saving the customer, I want to check if these fields are not empty. If empty, I want to display an error message.
So I tried different things, but nothing worked.
1.) Method CHECK_ALL_DATA in BAdI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA
IF S_KNVV-VKORG EQ 'ABCD'.
    IF S_KNVV-ZZFIELD1 IS INITIAL.
      E_MSGID = 'Z1'.
      E_MSGNO = '001'.
      E_SCRGR = 'Z1'.
      E_DYNNR = '0100'

    ENDIF.
ENDIF.
=> the error message is displayed, but the following displayed screen is not the custom screen with our fields!
AND also the button to switch to the the custom tab is not more visible!?
2.) EXIT_SAPMF02D_001
=> same behaviour as above (Button is not more available!)
3.) Of course, I can set the fields in the PBO to obligatory in our custom screen. But this will only check, if the user go to this screen. If the user doesn't go to the screen, it will not be checked and the customer is saved with the empty fields... so this will not help me.
Could someone help me!?

This helped me a lot! But with your coding, no fields were visible on the screen...
so I changed the fcode (to our fcode, defined as function code for our custom screen in SPRO -> "Prepare Modificatin-Free Enhancement of Customer Master Record") and than it worked!
Here is my code:
      e_msgid = 'Z1'.
      e_msgno = '003'.
      e_scrgr = 'Z1'.
      e_dynnr = '4000'." -----This is important .
      e_fcode = 'Z1KNVV01'.
It's really very important to use screen '4000'!

Go-openoffice-dark-gtk-fix does not work

Installed and ran openoffice-dark-gtk-fix, but go-openoffice still loads with dark theme.
So, I reinstalled go-openoffice and ran go-openoffice-dark-gtk-fix, but still no results

I am using a universal look, for all apps, with QtCurve.

Photo Editing, auto fix does not work for brightness and contrast or shadows and darkness editing.

After running Software Update, I am unable to log in.
I found the following support article:

However, upon step 8 of the instructions, the following error appears:
delete Invalid Path
<dscl_cmd> DS Error: -14009 (eUnknownNodeName)
This is actually after an update (not an "upgrade"), so I'm not even sure these are the appropriate steps.
This is the second time that I have been unable to log in after an update. The first time, I attempted to reset the password with the installation DVD; however, this resulted in "No LDAP Master" errors and I installed Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server on a second internal drive and configured everything again. After setting everything up on the second install, I was going to reformat the first boot drive. Unfortunately, I'm just back to where I started after running the updates. I'm not sure if having two volumes with Mac OS X Server installed makes a difference in the instructions in the article mentioned above or not.
Another question: Is resetting the password with the installer DVD the same as using the Single User approach ("launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist", "ls /Users", then "dscl . -delete /Users/username AuthenticationAuthority")?
If so, I'll just do that; however, I am hoping that the Single User approach might somehow avoid "No LDAP Master" errors again.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Please make sure that you have defined Security Group Access (SGA)-enabled devices in Cisco ISE and you have added WLC to this SGA to process requests from SGA-enabled devices that can be part of the Cisco SGA solution. Any device that supports the Security Group Access solution is an SGA-enabled device.
SGA devices do not use the IP address. Instead, you must define other settings so that SGA devices can communicate with Cisco ISE.

U44M1P34 InDesign Update Error: fix does not work

Satellite Pro A200 Windows XP, 4Gb SDHC Card does not work.

I have had a Satellite Pro A200 installed with Windows XP, SP2 for some time - No problems there, a great piece of kit. However I recently have bought a new camera and splashed out on a Kingston 4Gb SDHC card. The manual for my A200 seemes to indicate that it my laptop is compatible with SDHC cards to 4Gb however when I push the card in the LED flashes blue briefly and then nothing happens. My SDHC card does not appear to be recognised by the system.
I see no errors in my OS event log and I have checked the slots operation by trying an older 512Mb SD card and that works fine.
Can anybody offer any help please?
For reference this laptop is a Model PSAE4E A200.

Address Book SEARCH does not work anymore

Since the last week or so, my "Address Book" does not search at all anymore for any contacts on iCloud (which is where I have all my contacts). I saw others had a similar problem, and that one person was able to fix it -> https://discussions.apple.com/message/17417340?searchText=Address%20Book%20SEARC H%20does%20not%20work%20anymore#17417340 -> but this fix does not work for me. Interestingly it searches if I have contacts "On my Mac", which I usually don't.
I tried exporting my address book and re-inporting it (replacing all contacts), but it did not change anything.
Was anyone able to fix this besides the person in the above linked discussion?

I HAD THE SAME "SEARCH" ISSUE, HOWEVER I AM NOT USING iCLOUD... so my situation was yet slightly different I guess, I tried a bunch of things (exporting, reimporting etc.. Nothing worked..).
FINALLY WHAT WORKED WAS: I deleted everything in the Application Support/AddressBook EXCEPT the Metadata folder. When I relaunched AddressBook.. everything worked fine again, searches etc.. and all icons even reappeared I guess they are also kept with the metadata info not jsut the images folder since I had deleted it) .. and all my contacts from Facebook that I had synched using Cobook and some other utility before that are also there...
I've also played around with CoBook again.. to make sure things were stable, and so far they are.
HOWEVER.. iCloud scares me... so I'll refrain from playing with that for now

My Eye Dropper STILL does not work in CS5 while using Lion with one monitor. How can i fix this?!?

This is my first post because i have grown very disgruntled at the fact that my eye dropper does not work my Premiere CS5. I would use the Ultra Key a lot but now I obviously can not really use it too well because of no eye dropper. I saw that this problem existed after the Lion update but this really should have been fixed by now. I am using only one monitor also. Is there a way to fix this or is this still known to be broken? I paid good money for CS5 and would be very upset if the only way around this is to pay MORE money to upgrade to CS5.5. Thanks.

Thanks for the response Stephen! I find this very bad on Adobe's part though if they do not feel obligated to fix CS5 for Lion. Eye dropper is a major part of Premiere and i am going to be very dissapointed if they do not fix that. With the amount of money the Suite costs, they definitly should make sure it runs well for quite a few years. I would expect a copy of CS4 to be able to work too. If they do not fix CS5 all because the OS has changed basically tells me that every 2 years or so, they stop caring about their product.
Sorry i sound so bitter about this but it has really hurt my workflow. Ultra key is great and something that FCP does not have so it has the edge in that respect, but now i can not even properly use it. I have to go into After Effects with the same clip, use that eyedropper to get the correct color # and then copy and paste the # into Ultra Key in Premiere which is very very annoying and slows down my system quite a bit.
So basically, they are probably not going to ever fix this? Thanks again

still do not know if it is the button or if it is a software issue.
you might try this one.
push and hold the top power button until the switch off slide appears.
after it appears let go of the power button, push and hold the home button until the slider disappears.
ofcourse this is tricky because the button needs to react
if it does not work the first time try again and the hold the homebutton and move your finger around the sides of the button(eg if the contact is bad this might force it to make contact somewhere)
i will wait for ios5 and see if it will fix my ipad2
