while i am trying to enter the batch name for removal for scrapping and clicking check this warning is being displayed.
KIndly if you are having any other solutions in customizing other than using BADI... pl discuss..

Hi,
You must have some kind of BAdI (probably MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI och MB_MIGO_BADI) that places a value in the field LIFNR (vendor). However, this field is not open for entry and hence SAP ignores the value provided by the BAdI.
Either correct your BAdI so it doesn't populate the field when the latter is not available (e.g. based on the mvt /special stock ind.) or live with this warning message - it is harmless.

I'm getting following error :

BAPI_USER_CHANGE function work correctly for other parameters such as ADDRESSX, DEFAULTSX, PASSWORDX, LOGONDATAX, ALIASX
But in case GROUPSX I am getting above error.
Also I could able to add all above attributes including GROUPSX to user using sap logon. so it should be possible from BAPI as well.
Any input will be appreciated.

I meant GROUPS is not an input parameter but a table parameter.

So the error message is correct, GROUPS is not an INPUT parameter.

MIGO Field display to ready for Input

Hi,
Field EBELN purchase order is made mandatory for movement type 541
When i am doing MB1B its ready for input
But when i am trying to post 541 using MIGO the field is display only
I tried Enjoy settings for MIGO but the field is not available in modifiable or influencing node
Is there any way i can add the field or other workaround solution?

The requirement here is to track the link between 541 and 542 ,
The processor PO is updated by user in PO field and also added the vendor field (custom) which is again updated by user
while doing 541 on saving exit finds out the latest PO number for combination of Vendor and material and updates it in one field
Hence 541 document always contain the processor PO ,and vendor PO
Normally client use MB1B for this but , if required MIGO can not be used because of this PO field constrain

After upgrade to 11.2 I'm having this error.
It appears at the Define Authorization stage after I chose transactions and clicking continue.
The connectors and JCos are working.

1. Implement SNOTE 1441463
2. Implement SNOTE 1443612
3. Register key for object /VIRSA/RE_OBJ_INFO
4. In SE03 >> Administration >> Set System Change Option. Change /VIRSA/ to modifiable
5. In Se11 open data type /VIRSA/RE_OBJ_INFO in change mode with the key from p. 3
6. Edit structure according to Note 1452772. Save and activate.
7. Implement SNOTE 1452772
8. Restart grc~reear (or the server)
...or wait for VIRSANH patch 12

Exception when executing a report: Field I_REPORT_ID not a member of INPUT

I created a simple Report with the Report Designer. When I try to execute it in the portal hitting the "Execute"-button i get the following BI Runtime Exception:

I omitted the rest of the stack trace. It was too long to fit into this post (probably there is a restriction on the maximum number of characters in a forum post )
We are on SP 08 at the backend BI-System and the front-end tools are on patch level 8, hotfix 2.
Any ideas what's the reason behind that error?

Server 2012 not accepting inputs either via console or RDP

Hello Experts,
I have a server 2012 standard running in a physical box with 3 virtual machines running in hyper-v session. For sometime now, i have been running into strange issues where it does not accept input. I tried via RDP, console; neither method worked. It still
holds AD and file server role. It was all working good and driving me into issues for some time now.
It does not accept inputs via keyboard or mouse either from console or RDP. All resources such as file share, virtual machine are accessible from network. I can logon to server via console or RDP for 3 to 5 min right after server has been hard restarted
and again it stops accepting inputs.
Can someone help me out work around this issue as i am new to server 2012 and not sure what goes in error.

LSMW for Chart of Account: Field XSPEB not filled in batch-input session

Hi all,
we are using LSMW for importing the chart of account into a new system.
The LSMW project uses the report RFBISA00 for the creation of the batch-input session.
Some accounts need to be blocked in the new system. Therefore, we have the field XSPEB in our source structure and of course also in our target structure. But after the creation of the batch-input session the field is not included in the corresponding batch-input session.
Does anybody know why it is not set? I already debugged the program RFBISA00 but couldn't find the place where the data get lost.

While sending an e-mail fr hotmail account, in few secs, msg recd - Widows Live hotmail is not ready to accept yr request. It is not with Safari. hv downloaded latest version of Silverlight, dont kn to get to it on hotmail page. am using mac.

1)I have declared selection field in module pool as maktx of type maktx.
when ever the user enter the data into into , it is comming in caps but i want as it is the data entered by user in the program I dont want it to convert it caps by default .Please tell how to handle

When user selects one radio button then that particular filed input should be allowed to enter if he selects another radio button then field 2 should be allowed to input.

By default one shoule be active . is using screen modify statement will help . Should it be coded in PBO and PAI.
3)IN intial screen i will have a push button and when i press it then it will call another screen and there i will have another push button say back.
Rigth now when the user press back button in second screen i have writeen leave program.
But I want it to go back to previous screen.
call screen 'earlier screen' should be used or leave to screen 'earlier screen'.
or any other best method.

1) in screen painter maintain the input field attributes "Upper/lower case entry" (or use a correct DDIC reference)
2) in PBO you will have a LOOK AT SCREEN/MODIFY/ENDLOOP, also i suggest add a Function Code so checking/un-checking the radio-buttons will trigger PAI immediately, but in PAI ignore this function code to stay on current dynpro.
3) To go back to previous dynpro, use a LEAVE TO SCREEN 0, so program closes the current dynpro and continues with the statement following the CALL SCREEN. (Another CALL SCREEN will add one screen to the stack, til maximum number reached, when program will dump out.)
NB: Try to use the search tool, most of those questions have already been answered (many times)

Create a new message there..of type error.
Enter your text.
Now to avoid null pointer exception , in wdDoInit(), initialise the value

now create an action for submission of data. If field is empty, then within the button write:

Supplying Plant field is not appearing in vendor creation of receving plant

Iam configuring Cross Company Scenario to my client for the version SAP 4.6C as they implemented a new company code and want to transport the material from one company code to another company code.
I made all the required customizations in the system
while creation a vendor code in the reciving plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data i am unbale to view plant field where we maintail supplying plant
In OMSG at purchasing data at add purchasing data PLANT, vsr relevacne & plant relevance made optiional
but while creation of vedor code the other two VSR relevance and Plant relevance indicators are populating but the PLANT field is not appearing.
without this assignment while creating a STO, shipping data tab is not appearing
Please Provide me input in solving this error.

Dear Srini Behara
The field selection is controled at Vendor accounting group.
For Vendor account group (std 0001) , the field Plant in additional Pur data is supressed whereas for accounting group 0007 this field is activated.
Please rfer the following path to activate the field
SPRO--> Financial accounting --> Account receible and Payable --> vendor accounts --> Master data --> Prepataions for creating vendor master data --> Define account groups with screen layout
Select the Vendor account group and go to Purchase org data and change the Plant filed option.
Or create teh Vendor under accounting group Plant (0007 std)

Custom field in 'Notes and Attachment" tab of shopping cart

Hi All,
I am working in SRM 7.0 classic scenario and i have requirement in which i need to add custom field in 'Notes and Attachment" tab of the shopping cart portal.
I have added those fields in structure --- INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
Also implemented the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI in while i am populating the custom field value.
I have created custom field as INPUT FIELD in webdynpro component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_NA and view : V_DODC_MAIN_VIEW.
Now I can see the custom field value in table BBP_PDISC, but i am not getting the value in Shopping cart "Notes and Attachments" tab.( I am able to see the field but not the value of it).
The value is getting populated in ITEM DATA tab instead.
Please suggest if i am missing anything in the process and how to achieve this.

Hi,
You have done everything.. well.. except that you did not set the attribute of the input field to this value.
When you have value u just need to bind it using set_attribute method of the element.
Use ctr+f7 to generate the wizard .. select in set mode.. click on context and select the attribute that you have created in the context.

Visio 2010 - Shape Data Fields Are Not Saving

I am having a problem with a number of shape data fields which are not saving data that has been entered into it, whether by entering it through the "shape data" or "define shape data" dialog boxes, or by editing the "shape
sheet".
All data fields appear to save normally while file is open, it remains as entered. However, when file is closed and later reopened select data fields do not retaining data correctly. Some retain nothing (null), or revert back to a "default"
value, see below for a couple examples:
Rack Units: Want to enter data as 1U, 2U, etc. ... in some cases it will save it as entered while in other cases it reverts to "1 RU", "2U", etc.
Room: Enter the data as I want it stored, most of the time it appears to come back empty, there are some shapes which will retain as entered.
Comments: Fails to retain any data
I have looked at a number of reasons to explain why, whether the problems occur with stencils is supplied by Microsoft, a vendor, or were custom created. Looked into whether it might have to do with a particular vendor's stencils/drawings
but I have a number of Cisco drawings where some save those fields as entered while others do not. I believe it could be a setting within the stencil preventing it from saving the data as entered, enabled in some cases and not in others.
I have checked "Protection" under the "Developer" tab, but nothing appears to be set to prevent editing/storing data entered.
Is there some setting(s) or field(s) somewhere that I can look at to allow this data to be saved as entered?
Is there a GLOBAL setting that can be set once within a file?

It's theoretically possible to do this (e.g. each field has an action
of removing read-only on the next). It's considered extremely bad form
design, because people don't always fill in fields in the order
specified. If you watch people with a form they fill in their name,
address, other easy stuff; then they go back for the harder stuff.
They may want to save a form because one piece of information needs
research.
What you might like to consider is a large splash "FORM INCOMPLETE" in
Red or whatever, which vanishes when all the fields are completed.

We are using sap business one 2005.

We are using sql server 2005.
For your information, the password of the manager is already 9 characters long.
This works when I login to Sap Business One.
But not when I log in through the SDK.
Please advise.
