Balance Refund Query

Hi,
I called up yesterday as there has been no direct debit taken from my account for this month. I'm aware of the bank holidays etc but usually my bank will show what DD's are due out within the next few days (eg. everything that should come out today is showing as debiting tomorrow)
When I called up I was advised that because my account is in credit (£130 and some odd pounds) that this would be credited to my actual bank account rather than being left on as credit on my BT account. I was also informed that my next payment isn't due to July because I've recently been put on a new broadband/tv/calls contract..
Obviously I was quite pleased at this but I'm just a bit confused as I didn't expect the credit to be physically refunded for me.
My main query is...I've tried to look online on MyBT about the refund and how much credit i'm in etc. etc. and in fact if the amount has been refunded to me however I cannot find a link or anyway to view the "manage payments" option? Obviously £130 is going to be a big help to me and I want to double check it is actually coming my way.
Would someone be able to direct me or perhaps a mod would be able to check my account as to the refund status? I've tried calling on 150 but they're obviusly closed today.

  • Cancelled account still reads 'Suspended' and balance refund question

    I cancelled my account a couple of weeks ago, but my account still reads 'suspended' on my wireless page. Second, CSR told me to bring my two Iphones into a retail outlet to get rebate $ for them. I did that today and the retail store scanned two "gift cards" for $100 into my account. Now my account balance shows a $200 credit and suspended. What are my options? Do I need to recall CSR to confirm cancellation of account? And how do I get the balance refunded, or will it be charged back to my credit card on file?

    The suspended message will be on your account until the bill closing date of your account. Then it will fall off.
    If you can access the my Verizon page then there must be a live device on the account. Normally once a line is ported or canceled you lose access to the site.
    Verizon normally pays via check. However they are notorious for not wanting to refund monies already in their possession.
    I cannot understand why you brought back the devices for $200 credit when your account was paid up?
    Verizon does not prorate so I don't understand what money you are looking for. A security deposit? If for the two devices that $200 comes in a gift card. Not cash.

    Hello!
    I am not in the U.S and have enver visited, don't want to either. However, using money I worked for I purchased $50 of iTunes credit for the U.S. app store so as to gift apps for friends in the U.S. I have just found this is not an option as gift can only be made using linked debit card, doesn't Apple like people in other countries? I would not be at all surprised.
    I would therefore like to know how to get my purcahsed credit refunded since I may never use it, and meanwhile Apple is profiting from it being unused.
    Can anyone help?

  • GL Trial Balance Report Query with date Effectivity

    We have a requirement to show the GL Trial Balance report with Effective dates as Parameters.
    Current Analysis:
    The Journals get updated with corresponding CCID in GL_BALANCES table when the Journal is posted. GL_BALANCE is SOB specific, if the SOB has month as period then the balances in GL_BALANCES would get updated against the month(period).
    To overcome the period problem, we explored the option of using a View based on GL_JE_HEADERS and GL_JE_LINES for 'Posted' Journal Batches of a SOB. We are checking whether the GL_JE_HEADERS.default_effective_date lies between the :p_from_date and :p_to_date which is sent to the Report as a parameter. The above idea does not return expected data when the custom Trial Balance Report is run.
    Following is the Query we have written for it:

    Allarmed to see that so many customers are having problem getting refund of their credit balances.  Can anyone one post the Verizon policy on this? I terminated my service last month and have not been able to get an answer when I am going to get back my $70 credit balance bacik. Upto now I had a very good experience with Verizon so am quite shocked to see so many negative postings.

    I'm from India, & will be buying iPhone (sim-free) in UK, during my visit to UK in August.
    I had some query regarding VAT refund for my iPhone 4:
    I called up 2 UK stores, regarding the same, but couldn't get them resolved !
    1. There's a 17.5% VAT on iphone purchase,
    Bath, South gate store told me, they refund the VAT at store itself, Where else Regent street store told me, i have to get it at the Airport ?
    2. Do i get full 17.5% refund, or is there a Admin charge on this refund,
    Bath, South gate store told, there's no Admin charge, where as Regent street store told me, that VAT refund gets reduced to 13%, due to some Admin charge !
    Kindly answer these queries.

    Hey, I just checked the HMRC website and it does say
    "First, you need to choose a shop that operates the VAT Retail Export Scheme. It's a voluntary scheme and not all shops operate it, so you need to check before you buy anything."
    So you'll need to double check the Apple store you plan on visiting does operate the VAT scheme.
    It also says;
    "You may not get all the VAT back. The retailer and/or the refund company may make a charge to cover the cost of handling your form. If they do, this will be deducted from your refund before you receive it."
    So it does appear the reduction to 13% due to the handling charge may be legitimate.

  • AP Trial Balance Report Query

    Hi - We use the AP Trial Balance Report as a supporting schedule to reconcile our General Ledger AP Creditor Control Account against.
    Ordinarily we would use the total remaining amount at the end of the report (which has historically balanced to the GL).
    The value in the remaining amount column has always equalled the value in the amount column.
    However, during P12 when we have generated the report we have identified several transactions that have an amount appearing in the 'remaining amount' column but no corresponding entry in the 'amount' column.
    We're not sure what the 2 column represent and why this would be the case.
    Consequently by using the 'Remaining Amount' total and comparing it to the GL balance we are out by the amounts that are only appearing on one side of the AP Trial Balance.
    I've looked at the accounting postings on the AP for some of the particualr records and can see that there is a debit and credit posting to expenditure that net off and and also a debit and credit posting to the AP Creditor Control Account that also net off
    Can anyone provide us with an explantion please?

    Hello,
    We are in process of trial balance upload for our implementation project. We have already identified Offsetting accounts for Balance sheet type of accounts. But Client wants us to upload the P&L items also.
    Please let me know if we have to use P&L items also then what type of P&L offsetting account should be used (B/S type or P&L type with Retained Earnings account assigned to it?).
    We need not upload any P&L items details but just the YTD balances. Are there any major concerns for the same? One concern observed by me is that different P&L accts will have different requirements like for some Material or Internal Order, etc. might be compulsory fields.

    Hi,
    You can have the offestting accounts as B/S type itself. That should not be an issue.
    As you said, you can upload the balances and not the line items.
    In case the P&L accounts are created as cost elements also, you may have to assign a cost object to that upload item.
    After upload of the trial balance, the net balance of all the offsetting accounts will be zero.

    Osx 10.9.4 is not compadible with my officejet 8600? It will print but no scaning is avalible. I downloaded most recent driver that I can find for 10.9 still no scaner can be found?
