BAPI_ACC_BILLING_POST with PA segment

Hi:
We are developing an ABAP and we would like to use BAPI_ACC_BILLING_POST, for FB01 tx, but I have some problem when I want to use it with PA segment.
Do you have an example of this bapi wich includes data for PA segment. We need to populate data for Product, Nielsen ID, Materialu2026 as PA objects.

I want to Save FI Cash Journal Documents using the BAPI
BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE.
On the line item there is Profitability segment which comes as a pop up in transaction FBCJ.
I was not able to find the interface for this Profitability segment (CO-PA entry) in the above mentioned BAPI

Hi guys.
Am using oracle 8i and am having problems with rollbackup segment. My rbs tablespace is 35GB and will like to shrink it! Its a production db, so my question is shoudl I fire the below query?

Hi Friend,
Production DBs are always having big transactions, These transactions obviously hold large memory in rollback segments. You will not face any issue after srinking it but if any transaction is failed and it has not been enrolled or flush out from your rollback segment. You will be not able to recover the data from rollback segment. I would suggest use share table space here instead of shrinking it. Atleast it will help to to recover current transaction in case of calamity.

Does anybody able post the document using function module POSTING_INTERFACE_DOCUMENT with PA Character ( CO-PA) segment(Product,Brand, equipment type). If so, can you please suggest me.
Iam using the structure "CE01000" which was in FB01 screen but iam getting the error screen field is un known.

Thanks Rob, profit center, cost center and IOs are taken care. only concerned with PA segments. Function module is not understanding the structures for PA segments.

Posting document with profit segment values (FB01)

I have a req. to post a document with profit segment parameters in FB01. Please help me if any BAPI or FM exists for the same.
I have searched for profit segment parameters in bapi_acc_document_post, but i didnt find any fields to pass
BL , sales office, curr, customer status and service fields in BAPI.

You can use the strcuture EXTENSION1 of BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST alongwith the implementation of BTE "RWBAPI01". We had lots of problems with the things described in this subject here.
Worse: We can't solve the problems and now we're going another way for our mobile-crm-solution...
Are there any how-to-guides or tutorials anywhere online about how to extend standard bdocs with own segments?
How-to-guides about mbdocs and sbdocs and how they are playing together?

Hi lngo,
I would suggest you use EEWB to enhance the Activity object. There is the provision of enhancing the Mobile sbdocs directly from EEWB.
This way you don't have to spend lots of efforts in developments.
When you create extension in EEWB, for input fields select the appropriate values mention below:
EEW Bus. Obj: BUSINESS_ACTIVITY
Extension Type: ACTIVITY_H
On Next Screen enter screen title and press continue.
On Next screen select 'Business Activity' and continue.
Enter the fields required on next screen and continue.
Further on next screen define if fields should be releavant for header, item or both.
and on the next screen select 'Mobile' so that sbdocs are accordingly modified.

Assuming you are making use of workshop for creating the user segment and deploying to a single server which is in development mode, I would recommend you check if you have hit any OOM issues on the server or not, and try restarting the server, and redeploying your app. Generally this should resolve the issue.
If the server to which you are deploying is running in production mode / deploying as an EAR then the above referred doc will guide you on the next steps.

Configured Item - append sequence with item segment

Hi,
Is there any possible to have sequence number starting from 1,2,3... for each CTO BOM?
Say for example, there is a CTO BOM and out of which 10 possible configurations can be done and each configured item shoud have itemsegment-1, itemsegment-2...etc.

Configurable BOM - item segment is C0200D0000XX and the setup made in BOM Parameters is 'Append sequence with Item Segment'
The number generated for one of configuration is C0200D0000XX-6202980.
My question is can't the sequence be started with 1 for each configurable BOM? If so how to do it?
Example:
Configurable BOMS - C0300D0000XX which supports five possible valid configurations and the item numbers expected are C0300D0000XX-1, C0300D0000XX-2, C0300D0000XX-3, C0300D0000XX-4, C0300D0000XX-5
Another CTO BOM C00600D0000XX which supports 3 valid configurations and numbers would be C00600D0000XX-1, C00600D0000XX-2,C00600D0000XX-3

Mapping issue with repeating segments

Now we want to change it to show a DTM segment for every date, so it should be like below:

Use Looping functiod to achieve this. Connect <DTM01> in your source schema with looping functiod and then connect <DTM> of you destination schema with Looping functiod. Basically you are telling the mapper to create an
instance of <DTM> for each <DTM01> record.

Hi Baheej,
If in your input "E1CSKTM" segment always occurs twice than u can go with the above UDF mentioned by Chirag and also u need to take care that field (LTEXT) also always occurs.If the field does not occur always than you need to check it using exists functions.
Andmoreover if the "E1CSKTM" segment does occur more than twice than u need to create a UDF where u need to pass the values alternatively.
Please check the above details and let us know if any furthur enhancements are to be made.

Issue with valuation segment and gl in MB5l

Hi gurus
I have an issue with a couple of materials in a report in MM MB5L list of stock values. The materials they are reporting with the issue have no costing screen extended in MM and I think this maybe the issue. The message I am getting is:
Account 121160 does not exist in company code 0010 G/L accnt is missing for val. segment 000005 1400.
I have checked the account and it does exist in the company code, is there any other config between the segment and gl account.

The transaction is MB5L which is stock values balances. The message is:
Account 121160 does not exist in company code 0010
G/L accnt is missing for val. segment 000005 1400,
There is no message number, no question mark(help) to check the message number either, as it is just text at the bottom of the report showing the error.
I thought it might just be because the costing view was not setup, however not sure why the gl account is coming up as cannot see any postings to this account? It maybe that they have not done the relevant MM configuration. The gl account is a material management account.

Problem update IBAN bank details with IDOCs segment E1KNBKM

Hi all,
i use Idoc DEBMAS07 in which i use the segment E1KNBKM to create IBAN in customer bank details. If bank details do not exist, the IDOC is integrated, IBAN is created.
If i recreated the same Idoc, with same data (just change bank name) the Idoc is in error with the message : 'No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0130'.
In debugging, we see that the dynpro sequence is wrong. For vendors it's work. I can create and update IBAN.
i don't find SAP notes, or help forum on this problem.
Any ideas ?

How outbound IDoc with Z segment is creating without using a program/FM?

Hi,
I am having an outbound IDoc with Z message type and segments.
I need to find how this IDoc/ IDoc segment is getting created. I tried to find
it using the segment’s where used list (in SE11- IDoc segment structure). But it
is showing that the structure and fields are not used anywhere.
How it is possible to create a Z segment in IDoc without
using the corresponding structure in some program or function module?
I have searched in google/scn for a solution, but didn’t find
anything.
Any one please helps me to find how this IDoc segment is
populating?

Hi Arthur,
This IDoc is catering as part of a flow (Tcode IW21). I have
set a break point in the function module ALE_IDOCS_CREATE and processed the transaction
IW21, but the program didn’t stop in the break point, but the IDoc got created.

ALE HRMD_A with E1PORIG Segment Problem

Hi
We set up an ALE scenario with HRMD_A. We also did the set up that
the E1PORIG Segement is written. The initial distribution with RHALEINI works fine, the
segement is E1PORIG is written.
Now we activated change pointers for HRMD_A. If we use the report RBDMIDOC to evaluate the
change pointers it works also BUT the E1PORIG Segement is not written.
Why?
There is also a special Report for HRMD_A to evaluate the change pointers (RHALESMD)
but this report also does not write the E1PORIG Segment.
Is this a bug or is there a workaround that this segment is written however I transfer the IDOCS?

The question here is if all necessary data has been already transferred to target system . If data is selected based on change pointer than only data that has changed in source system is send to target.
Example: imagine you have change employee position using one of already created positions in the system. Change pointer will take than only the new assignment between employee and positions. It will not actually transfer the existing position it-self. In this case you must be sure that all existing positions are already transferred to target system.
In your example only new relationship between P->S is transfered to target. Employee data should already been there. The change here is not about creating new employee but only about the new relationship P->S.

ZHRMD_A Custome message type issue with custom segments.

Hi Experts,
We have implemented ALE in HR system, we have all other ALE using HRMD_A and we have jobs scheduled for HRMD_A message type. We dont want this job should trigger our model and distribute the data. So we have reduced the HRMD_A messae type to ZHRMD_A for basic type HRMD_A06. Every thing fine. After upgrade of SAP FROM ECC6.O to EHP4, PFAL is not creating IDOC segements for custom segments Z*. for example Z1P0002....ETC, though there is personal data for PERNR.
Please guid if you have come across such situation and solution.

In the same way i too have one situation like...have different model view with same message types( and same extension type) for various countries from one sender system.
Should i create reduced message type for each model view?
Or can i use same message type HRMD_A for various model views?
If i can use same message type and same extension type for various model views is there any restriction we need to write in USER EXIT EXIT_SAPLRHA0_004?

Data Transfer using LSMW IDOC processing with multiple segments

we need to post the document data (Header structure, BP item structure, G/L item structure..etc) using LSMW IDOC processing.
is it possible to transfer data for all these structures (Segments) in single file?

I am assuming when we are specifying the file in LSMW we are going to give the option to generate the file with include all structures.
could you please elaborate further is there any thing specific we need to do while configuring LSMW to get the file for all segments in the IDOC with field names which we are going to populate with data, so that we can use it for data transfer.
