  • Auto Update configuration values in PO

    Hi all,,
    For Configurable material we have characteristics values. In PO, we have nth number of Material item and each item have different characteristics values.
    User has to manually maintained characteristics values at each item level. Can't it be Automatic?
    User don't want to maintained manually.
    please let me know, is there any process.
    Regards,
    babar

    Hi ALL,
    Please find below option which can be adopt..
    1. Can system fetch characteristic values form attached excel to configuration tab for each material through some function module.
    2. Create separate Z- screen with two radio button for to upload the Excel file and other to maintained material or PO number and execute. Program will update characteristics values in PO.
    Please let me know, if any easy option is available.

  • How to change characteristics values in PPDS planned order?

    Hi,
    I have few PPDS planned orders. I want to change the value of few characteristics of existing PPDS planned order.
    How can I do the same?
    Any standard T.Code or function module or report available to update the characteristics values of PPDS planned order in APO.
    Thanks in advance.
    Warm Regards,
    Surajit Das

    Hi Surajit,
    Char can be changed programatically.
    If you want to change the Planned Order characteritics before its creation, you can do so at the time Planning run itself (/SAPAPO/RRP3) in BADI /SAPAPO/RRP_SRC_EXIT, Method RRP_USEX_PLORD_CREATE.
    Planned Order characteritics can be changed after it creation.using BAPI BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3.

  • BAPI require to update Batch charachteristics to AUSP table

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I need a BAPI which can update my Batch Charachteristics data into AUSP table.
    Could any one please provide. Its very urgent for me.
    Thanks
    Satish Raju

    Hi Saish,
    As wolfgang told you can use BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE. Read this documentation.
    This BAPI changes an existing classification, or creates the classification if it does not yet exist. The classification is defined by the required entry fields for the object key (ObjectKey), object table (ObjectTable), class name (AllocDetail-Class_Num), and class type (AllocDetail-Class_Type). The default value for the optional date field (KeyDate) is the system date, on which all classifications become valid. The new characteristics and/or values are transferred to different tables according to data type. Numeric, time, and date characteristics are transferred to table AllocValuesNumNew, character and boolean characteristics are transferred to table AllocValuesCharNew, and currency characteristics are transferred to AllocValuesCurrNew.

  • Program updating the value with succeeding 0

    Hi
    We have got a problem.
    We have developed a program to update the value of the condition type. The upload file will have the SO, line item, condition type and value.
    In the background, the sales order change BAPI is called and the value of the condition type is updated. There is no bug in the program for this functionality with reference to the problem.
    When I upload, the value is getting uploaded correctly. But for some users, the value is updated with an additional 0 at the end. For example if 78 is the value of a condition type, the update happens as 780. The strange behaviour is that if I take that user id and password and upload in my laptop, the value is correctly uploaded without any addtional 0.
    We have checked the user profile of all the problamatic users. They are fine. The xls sheet decimal notation is checked and they are also fine. There is no bug in the program, as it is working fine for many users.
    What else should I be checking to solve this issue. An ABAPer advised to check the GUI level difference. I dont know how to do that but there should not be any such difference in the GUI versions for the users.
    Can somebody put some light on this issue.

    Hi Navaneetha,
    The Excel version is the same for you and the user?
    Can the same be debugged and rectified?
    Regards

  • Picking or copying Characteristics  Value from material master

    Dear Experts,
      Please i create   five Characteristics  which i assign to a Class ( of type 022 ). The Class is then assigned to  materials in the classification View of the Material Master.
    I want  one of the five Characteristics to copy its values from specific parameter value  maintaned in the  Material Master.
    Please assist on how to accomplish this?
    I did the following but did not get the desired results;  While creating this  Characteristic, in the Values Tab, I filled  ''MARC'' in the Tablename field   & in the Fieldname field, i enter the technical fieldname of the particular field from table MARC which i want.
    I want this particular value to be automatically copied into the Characteristics Value field in the Foreground  for eacb batch anytime Goods Receipt is done.
    after doing this, anytime Goods Receipt is done & a batch number generated, it takes me to the Classification screen, but this particular field which i desire  to be auto updated remains blank.
    Please assist ?

    Hi,
    1. This will not automatically updated just as we wil fill the addtional date table and field.
    2. you need to write the object dependency to get it updated when you call somewhere
    3. Generally in the batch level you will be able to do this .( even you can use function / object dependency )

  • How to update characteristics of DMS document

    Hello, I have a requirement to update characteristics right after document creation.
    I use BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 to create the document:
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2'
         EXPORTING
           documentdata    = ls_doc
         IMPORTING
           documenttype    = lv_document_type
           documentnumber  = lv_document_number
           documentpart    = lv_document_part
           documentversion = lv_document_version
           return          = ls_return.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'
             EXPORTING
    wait = abap_true.
    And then when I try to change it:
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2'
         EXPORTING
           documenttype         = iv_document_type
           documentnumber       = cv_document_number
           documentpart         = iv_document_part
           documentversion      = iv_document_version
           documentdata         = ls_document_data
           documentdatax        = ls_document_data_x
         IMPORTING
           return               = ls_return
         TABLES
           classallocations     = lt_cl_alloc
           characteristicvalues = lt_char.
    The following error is raised: Object TYPE/NUMBER/PART/VERSION does not exist.
    I pass the type, number, part and version right from BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE into corresponding arguments for the second call, and into documentdata fields as well. ClassAllocations table contains a single row with class type and name for characteristics in CharacteristicValues table.
    Could you suggest me, what can be wrong here?

    I found a solution for my problem. In a short, everything is OK except one thing:
    Field STATUS=1 should be also filled in CLASSALLOCATIONS table in addition to CLASSTYPE and CLASSNAME.
    In total I had to make my call conform to the following points:
    Document type, number, version and part must be filled into DOCUMENTDATA structure and not only in direct parameters of the BAPI
    CHARACTERISTICSVALUES must include class name and class type, these can be found from tcode CL03
    CLASSALLOCATIONS must include the same CLASSNAME and CLASSTYPE as from previous point, plus STATUS field set to «1»

  • Need BAPI/RFC for Updating Category field of CRM_DNO_MONITOR  from SAP R/3.

FOr updating the value of this field to sol man, is there any bapi or rfc ..
    Thanks in Advance,
    gopa.

    Hi
    Please check the following points.
    1. Please check the settings that you maintained in the table CRMSUBTAB in ECC. You need to have an entry as follows:
    User: CRM
    Object: VENDOR_MAIN
    U/D : DOWNLOAD
    Object Class: VEND ( & not BUPA for this entry)
    Function Module: PI_BP_VENDOR_MAIN_EXTRACT
    The other entry (for upload) has similar but different values. (Refer to the OSS note 883162.)
    2. Check if you have applied any filter settings in CRM for the adapter object VENDOR_MAIN.

  • Use BAPI: BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA to update customer field in MARC

    HI All,
    I will use the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA to update a customer field in database table MARC. For that I have extended the structures BAPI_TE_E1MARC and BAPI_TE_E1MARCX with the customer field.
    Afterwards I have filled the tables EXTENSIONIN and EXTENSIONINX with the corresponding value for the update. Addtionally I have added the field in transaction OMSR (setting to display in the field selection, because the field should not maintenance over the standard transaction MM01 and MM02).
    Processing of the BAPI give no error message, but the corresponding field in table MARC won't be updated. What's going wrong? Is there somebody, who could help me?
    Thanks and best regards

    Hi
    Try this BAPI function module:
    " BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT "
    Data: LS_HEADDATA TYPE BAPIE1MATHEAD,
             LS_RETURN TYPE BAPIRETURN1,
              LT_PLANT TYPE TABLE OF BAPIE1MARCRT,          LS_PLANT TYPE BAPIE1MARCRT,
              LS_PLANTX TYPE BAPIE1MARCRTX,          LT_PLANTX TYPE TABLE OF BAPIE1MARCRTX.
            CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT'

                       HEADDATA   = LS_HEADDATA
                   IMPORTING
                       RETURN     = LS_RETURN
                   TABLES
                       PLANTDATA  = LT_PLANT
                       PLANTDATAX = LT_PLANTX.
    Check the PLANTDATA in the above fm in which pass your ''STEUC'' to BAPIE1MARCRT-CTRL_CODE......
    Hope this works.....
