BAPI for ME21N with Material Configuration

Hi friends,
I need to create a Z Program which will create the purchase order and during creation of purchase order it will also make the configuration of material in Material Data. I know the BAPI name BAPI_PO_CREATE1, but it will not do the configuration in Material Data.
I have tryed the BDC but it is working for only one line item only.
Please suggest any suitable way for the solution.

Can you explain what exactly you mean by Material Configuration?
BAPI_PO_CREATE1 is the right bapi for ME21N.
YOu cannot do a BDC on this tansaction as it is a SAP Enjoy transaction.

Bapi For Bom and material Bom in cs71

Hi,
In CS71 we have 2 pushbuttons on the top ie create/copy BOM and create/copy Material BOM. for these 2 funtions i need Bapi or FM for the functionality of those 2 pushbuttons.

I tried to find BAPI for transaction CS71, but it seems that its no available.
Try using BDC method for the same.

Error in BAPI for ME21N

Hi,
I have developed a Z program for ME21N by using BAPI( BAPI_PO_CREATE1). When I executive it always shows
"Please enter items first. No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference: Document contains no items".
Would you suggest how can I solve this problem

Hi mahaboob,
Before creating Z program , first execute Function module itself in se37 by passing required parameters with help of functional consultant and if any errors occurs , functional consultant can easily idetifies and resolves it. After successfully execution, develop the Zprogram.
Place the parameters what you are passing , so that i can help you if you need.

Assign Source of supply is not working for contract with material group

Dear Experts,
I have searched all the threads and gone through before posting my query. So i would ask moderators to go through the thread properly before rejecting this.
We have value contracts with respect to a particular material group without material and with item category W in the contract item, Please note that for the materials with this material group, the source determination is not set and source list is also not maintained.
When we create PR for the material with this contract, and when we click on assign source of supply contracts used to get popped up, but recently from few days, when we click on assign source of supply we are getting an error " no source found for this item ".
Can anybody help on this.

As mentioned earlier, we are not creating PR with reference to contract.
first we are creating contract with item category W (material group), without material and plant details.
we create PR with or without material with account assignment K and with the material group in the transaction ME51N, and after inputting all the fields, we click on assign source of supply, it was proposing the existing contracts with respect to material group earlier, but it is not happening for particular material group(it is working for all other material groups)
Hope it is clear.
@ Dev Patra,
we are using DIEN-Service material types and we assign that particular material group to only service material type.
we have not ticked, source list in the material master, we donot have any source list for the materials under that material group.( please check the note 457110- question number 14.)

BAPI for creation of material documents/movements

Hi Everebody:
I need some help regarding to bapis for the creation of mateial documents and/or movements. I have been trying to implement bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, but this bapi does not have (import) the posting time in document, which is very important for my porpuse.
So, I would appretiate a lot any information anybody could give about any bapi I could use to create material documents or material movements but incluidng the posting time in document (field MKPF-OIB_BLTIME).

You can check MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT which has mkpf as inporting parameter.

FM/BAPI for creation of Material Document (similar to Transaction MB1C)

MBCF0002 Customer function exit: Segment text in material document item

I want to know whether any Function Module/BAPI avaialble for posting with residual clearing (FB05). Can we do residual clearing using the FM "Posting_Interface_Clearing"?

Bapi for association with Equipment serial number and return order

Hi,
I wanted to know if there was a BAPI which has an association between
Equipment serial number and return order .As I want the association between Euipment serial number and return order to show in the Equipment Serial history.

I want create a return delivery for the material with the same serial number for which i have created original delivery but the system is not allowing it is giving me error message as return delivery not possible with same serial number.How do i go forward.

For report with material and workcenter

my client reqd a report for the materials plan order and production generate for the period with respective week in specific workcenter.
Hence for the plan order order and production order i am useing PLAF and AFPO but i am expecting a excelent tips to get a workcenter wise report .As for the materials defined with production version i am getting by production line but for non production version material how do i fetch.
Input will be plant and workcenter on the basis of that generated count of plan orders and count of production orders need to appear.

Before developing customized report please check with std. report COOIS.
First give input as List = order Header , profile, select Production order check box alone & workcenter/plant/date & excute .
Then try with planned order check Box ,
This will give sepearte list for Both production & plant order.
u can use change layout option to design report output as u need

MB5B is a report RM07MLBD u can copy it to Z, do the logic as you required.. instead of searching for new.. & buliding the logic from the scratch.. so that u will get all the Functionality of MB5B

BAPI for transfer with posting -FB05 (transaction f-04)

We are running R/3 4.7.
Does anyone know if there is a BAPI that will do a transfer with clearing for GL accounts? The SAP transaction for GL transfer with clearing is F-04. If so could you let me know the name of the BAPI.

Order as Direct material check is not coming for shoppingcart with material

We are using portal indpendent navigation screen (NWBC) SRM 7.0 extended classic scenario. Order as direct material check box is not coming in item data of shopping cart for shopping against the material. I checked every thing but not able to get the check box for order as direct material.
Please advise what to do.

Also check if someone has hidden the field using WD customizing onscreen, right click over the screen and choose 'User Settings', here check if any fields are hidden.
