  • User-Exit or Badi for dangerous goods - master data

Is there any user-exit or BADI    we can use while changing or saving dangerous goods?
We want to do a copy on other dangerous goods immediately after the change or creation of the dangerous goods master data.
But I can't find an user-exit which can be used before the changes are saved.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Please check SAP enhancement DG100001
You can use this SAP enhancement to define a customer exit to write change documents for dangerous goods master data and packaging data.
The customer exit is in the function group XD10. It is called from the function DG10_CHANGE_DOC_USER_EXIT.
If the system does not find a customer exit, a standard document description is called. This is stored in the include LDG1NU03
Hope this will solve your problem

  • Audit trails for ammendments to master data

    Hi dear all SAPians
My client ask :   to recommend maintaining audit trails for ammendments to master data>
what is its meaning and what is its purpose >
your ans will be highly appreciable by heart and point>
    M Swadhin

    Hi,
You can find SAP audit toolbox via transaction SECR.
Audit logs may have following meaning:
The Security Audit Log is a tool designed for auditors who need to take a detailed look at what occurs in the SAP System. By activating the audit log, you keep a record of those activities you consider relevant for auditing. You can then access this information for evaluation in the form of an audit analysis report.
The audit log's main objective is to record:
u2022 Security-related changes to the SAP System environment (for example, changes to user master records)
u2022 Information that provides a higher level of transparency (for example, successful and unsuccessful logon attempts)
u2022 Information that enables the reconstruction of a series of events (for example, successful or unsuccessful transaction starts)
Specifically, you can record the following information in the Security Audit Log:
u2022 Successful and unsuccessful dialog logon attempts
u2022 Successful and unsuccessful RFC logon attempts
u2022 RFC calls to function modules
u2022 Successful and unsuccessful transaction starts
u2022 Successful and unsuccessful report starts
u2022 Changes to user master records
u2022 Changes to the audit configuration
You can find more details here: http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCCSTADM/BCCSTSAL.pdf

  • Dual Control for Vendor/Customer Master Data

We can set Dual Control for Vendor/Customer Master Data. I have set it. According to the cycle, I have customized sensitive field, and make changes in Vendor/Customer A/c. Here the changes will be confirmed by other user who is authorised to confirm the changes. In this scenario, I would like to know, can we avoid this confirmation once we have actived? If, no than how could we confirm the changes and where can we set authorisation?

    Dear,
No, You cannot avoid the dual check if You activate it. Another user by FK08 has to confirm the changes.
Then You can delete the field for the dual control into the table T055F and no check will be done in the future.
    I hope this helps.

  • Bapi or RFC for Scheduled production orders?

    Hi experts,
I need to extract a list of the Scheduled production orders (for a specific plant)for integration purpose. Does anyone know if there is any BAPI or RFC for this purpose and could anyone tell me which one could be used.
I noted that a similar topic "Retrieving production orders and material stock out R/3 system" posted Jan 16, 2006 has been discussed but the outcome was only that standard BAPI / RFC should be available for retrieving the production orders but there was no BAPI or RFC mentioned.
    Best regards,
    Niklas

    Hi,
I found that the following BAPIs can be used with some parameters.
    BAPI_PRODORD_GET_LIST
    BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL

  • BTE's used for project systems master data.

    Hi ,
Can anyone tell me what are the BTE's used for project systems master data.
    Tcode used are CJ01,  Cj02,  CJ20N,  CJ12,  CNMASS
When master data is changed or created BTE should trigger.
    Regards
    Subin

I don't think there are any open_fi BTE available for PS master data.
you can use classic subs/vals using GGB0 and GGB1 transaction codes.

  • Info object creation and master data attributes

    Hai All,
I have customerid, customer name, customer address, customer location. Similarly I have buyerid, buyer name, buyer address, buyer location. I have some more fileds like this for seller and vendor. I am thinking of creating a central location for all this master data creating a infoObject with name "personid" and making all the others attributes like "personname", "personaddress", "personlocation". I will load all the details of customer, buyer, seller and vendor to these objects.
The cental idea is to get all the master data to a central location and then create objects with reference to these objects and let all the data flow. so that I just load the central objects and everything takes whatever it wants from there.
    Now my questions
    1. Can I just create an object for customerid referencing personid and then as all the other attributes get copied, can I just report on it or do I need to again create all the info objects for the customer details? Also the same for all others buyer, seller and vendor.
    2. Is this of any problem if I am reporting on customer or vendor or buyer or seller's details?
Please advise me if the above situation works and let me know if I am going wrong.
    Thank you.

    hi Visu,
yes, you can do so, should no problem.
business content has this kind of approach,
    0sold_to, 0ship_to reference to 0customer.
and also 0employee if i'm not wrong.
one thing to consider if the volume data is very high,
put it as line item dimension in infocube.
    hope this helps.

  • BAPI for Changing Applicant Master Data

    Hi,
We are trying to access our SAP R/3 remotely for the creation and
maintenence of Applicant Master Data. We were able to identify the BAPI
"BAPI_applicant_create" for the creation of an applicant but are unable
to determine the BAPI required to maintain / change applicant data. Can
you please assist us in this regard.
    regards,
    Bilal Nazir

    Hey
I believe since there is no BAPI available so we could use the FM. And as far it being not remote enabled, i think thats not a major problem, we can always make a copy of it and make it remote enabled.
If anyone has any other option in mind, please do share.
    Regards
    Bilal

  • Co code not seen for cost center master data creation in OKEON

    hI:
In org tab of Cost center master data creation while configuring cost center hierarchy in OKEON i can not see organization tab. I have checked in OKKP Co area is assigned to co code but still the issue persist.
    Br

    hi
you mean the tab is not displayed? strange, it seems that there should be a screen layout to control the ui, or any transaction variant is recorded. I tried in my side, the tab is there.
@ Murali, you are right, but in that tab, not only company code can be configured, but also business area, functional area etc.
    best regards, Lawrence

  • RFC for creating Customer Master

    Hi All,
If anyone has created any RFC or has consumed standard RFC for the following SD requirements , please let me know.
    1. Creating a new customer centrally, also should be able to update partners.
    2. Extending customer to a new sales organization
    3. Adding partners to existing customer (This should overwrite any existing partner)
    4. Any BAPI/RFC specific to SIN version as Indian customer needs Excise data also to be updated.
    Thanks
    Kiran

Hi the best way is to go for LSMW.
Direct Input program is available for Customer Master load.
So you can go for LSMW using Direct Input method.
Here are the program details.. LSMW Screen..
    Object               0050   Customer master
    Method               0000
    Program Name         RFBIDE00
    Program Type         B   Batch Input
