Battery problems-new battery, but does not work

Help! I have purchased a battery a few months ago. It worked fine for a little while, and then one day, it would not power from the battery. Here is the strange thing-when I plug it in, it regesters the battery as fully charged. I even let my iBook sit for a few days without using it. I plugged it in and it registered my battery as about 95 percent charged, but stilll would not power up. I don't get it! The battery seems good, but it does not power from it. It obviously charges it, but does not power from it. Ahhh! Please help!

I just replaced my iphone 3g battery. It seemed to go smooth. Everything works normally except the ear speaker doesnt work. When i try to make an outgoing call i cant here it ring, but my phone will actually call another phone. Does anyone know what # that connector is labeled as on the motherboard or back of the screen? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

Just completed another restore. iTunes says the the iPad has been restored and will restart automatically and appear in iTunes when it is ready. That was 30 minutes ago. iPad still won't start. *I have a dell computer runing xp sp3 pro verison. I installed Itunes 8.02.2 then I restart my computer Itunes does not work for me at all. I have no malware or spyware on my computer. I have tried the tips on apple web site to make itunes start up and work. So I remove 8.02.2 itunes from my computer. Then I installed 8.01.11 the old version of Itunes and it works just fine on my computer. I think that 8.02.2 has a lot of bugs in it. Also, I have a dell notebook with xp sp3 home and the same problem happends to my with version 8.02.2. I got itunes to work on my notebook buy installing 8.01.11. I hope people tell apple that there are some problems with 8.02.2.*

I followed the instructions posted in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1737 and dont work.
1) My iPhone battery is 100%.
2) My PC is a notebook, and only have USB ports at the keyboard.
3) & 4) I turned off/on several times the PC and the iPhone.
5) Uninstall (reboot pc) and reinstall iTunes.
Where can I download a previous version of iTunes?

Hi I have problems with not working USB ports. It used to work. I downloaded actual drivers at msi.com for my gaming notebook GX 60 Destroyer and now my USB ports does not work. What should I do?

What driver have you updated?
Try to do an EC firmware reset by removing the battery and the AC adapter then put the battery back with AC adapter attached.
Same questions like Pegasus asked, does all ports not working? which one exactly? What OS are you using?
Have you done any changes to the system? (for example: self-install OS or changing OS)

Froze on black screen and power button does not work

my sons ipod touch is stuck on a black screen when plugged into the computer got a spinning wheel and will not connect now spinning wheel will not go away the power button does not work so can not reset it manually

Neglect the reset and when it says place the iPod in recovery mode use one of thes programs
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

It might be the battery, it sure sounds as though it could be. What happens if you leave it to charge, does the charging symbol show, does the battery icon show full, part full or empty at any time?

They can advise you about the battery and you should be given the cost before you commit to spending your dosh!

One of the USB ports on MacBook Pro does not work.

I purchased a MacBook Pro in Jan '11. Both the USB ports on the laptop were working fine. Recently, I have noticed, any external device connected to the USB port, towards the battery side does not recognize the connection.
Any solutions ?. Is this defect covered under warranty ?.

Try resetting the SMC.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

If you are unable to reset the iPod (assuming the hold switch is not in the On position either), then you'll have to let the iPod's battery fully drain. Then connect it to a charger and leave it to charge for a couple of hours.

Ralink RT5390 Does Not Work on the UEK Kernel

We installed OL6.3 and Ubuntu 12.04 on a new Asus X45A notebook. It has a Ralink RT5390 wireless card. With Ubuntu, both wifi and video work flawlessly. However, the wifi driver (from elrepo) does not work for the the uek kernel (2.6.39). While the wifi driver works when boot into the RHEL kernel (2.6.32), it created an "even bigger problem" in that the video starts at about 1/10 from the left edge of the screen.
As a result, we can only boot into Ubuntu on this new notebook, but we would like to use the uek kernel. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
