BB-RCA (Review, Commenting, and Approval)

Hi all,
My problem is about paralel approval/reviews. I created a template that includes seria approval and then paralel (2 branches) approval. I also assigned demo users. When I initiate review, first user on serial approval gets RCA approval task. After this step only one user gets the task on paralel approval. Is there any one who has an idea about what is going wrong or experienced same issue?
Thanks in advance
Murat

Hi,
If I am getting this correct, what you are saying is this.
1. Review contains 2 stages. First sequential then parallel
2. Sequential Stage has 1 reviewer
3. Parallel Stage has more than 1 reviewer ???
4. Sequential stage completes fine.
5. In Parallel stage only one reviewer got the task??
Please let me know
1. Was there any exception in server logs?
2. Can you share the review template?
3. Can you share the review context? This contains the run time state of the review and can be extracted from review zone using review id.
Thanks
Ankit

  • Portfolios: Review, Commenting, and Approval possible?

Is it possible to do reviewing, commenting, and approval for a PDF portfolio document?  We were wanting to send out our deliverables to a client using the Portfolio feature to create one crisp document with all of our items inside of it, but it seems that the portfolio view doesn't have the same <Comment> tab that a normal PDF comes with.

No, reviewing and commenting is not allowed on Portfolios. You need to open individual PDFs inside the portfolio and initiate review or perform commenting on them.

  • Review Commenting and Approval using the Workspace

    Hi,
I am writing a process in LiveCycle ES2 Version: 9.5 that uses functionality found in the ReviewCommentingAndApprovalService. The functionality that I am interested in is initiating an approval process of one or more people. I already have templates using ReviewTemplateCreation in the Workspace.
My issue that I need help on is a signature sheet. I have a form that is dynamically bound with XML and I would like to overlay the Name, Signature, and Comments boxes in a similar fashion to that of the Client-Side Signature process in ReviewCommentingAndApproval Application.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this? The Approval process basically passes a PDF around that members will have to review and leave a comment in the provided comment box. I do not believe that people will have to comment directly on the PDF, rather just on the signature form at the beginning.
So far, I have only been able to have the form on a page by itself and attach the Client-side signature sheet in front of that. Having my own form that is dynamically populated with XML bindings and then having signature and comment fields added before sending to Approvers would be ideal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • In approval workflow, can we have one action in which item can be review and approve/reject

    Hello,
I have created approval workflow using SPD.
While sending notification to approver, we need to mention link for viewing : [%TaskProcess:Item Title%][%Variable:InternetLink%] and for approve/reject : [%current task: form_URN%]
So is it possible to have one link, where reviewer can review document and approve or reject it. he/she should not have to go again to mail and click on another link.
    Thanking you in advance.

  • Error message: "Please review your billing information and approve it"

I keep getting this message and I'm pulling my hair out. It says my account information has changed. My account information changed because I was having trouble ordering a book when iPhoto suddenly decided to decline my credit card even though I had just successfully used it moments before on a different book. So I re-entered my billing information. It is identical to what I had before. So then I get this message saying my billing info has changed and please review it and approve it. So I click okay but it doesn't actually take me anywhere. So I click on Account Info, look at the info and it's all correct, there's nothing to change. So I click okay and try again. Then it says to enter a valid security code. I go back and re-enter my security code. Then I get a message saying "Please enter a valid security code." AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!

    Check with Apple at:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html
    http://www.apple.com/support/iphoto/customerservice/orderbooks/
One of those should get you some help.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Review and Approval of new Blogs..

    Hi all,
I just finished my first weblog, and i updated its status to "Ready for Approval",
Is there anything else that i shall do after that? or just wait for someone from SDN to check it and approve or reject it?
If so, how long usually takes?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Luis,
Once you're marked your draft 'ready for approval' a moderator reviews it within a couple of days (but as its public holiday time in both Israel and Germany pls. give a few extra days). It will then either be posted or set back as reviewed needs work in which case you will receive a mail or a comment will be written in your actual blog post.

  • How to use the Managed Review and Approval

    Hi,
I'm a RIA Consultant at iDA MediaFoundry, Adobe Gold Partner in Belgium. I'm trying to figure out how the new solution accelerators work and how we can use them in the solutions that we develop for clients.
I'm a bit stuck though with the Managed Review and Approval solution accelerator. I cannot figure out how the application actually works, how it communicates with livecycle and how we can use this application in our projects for clients.
Does anyone have a tutorial or a document on how to use this solution accelerator? I know this is a rather big question, and the answer will be even bigger, but I really could use some help from anyone who knows how to use all this.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
    Kind regards,
    Ronald Kamp

I would also suggest that you look at the resources on devnet.

  • Review your billing info and approve it

I recently changed my credit card. I updated my account with the new info. iTunes works fine, but when I order prints from iPhoto, I get a error "Your account information has changed. Please Review your billing info and approve it. I click "OK", go to Account Info, sign it, approve all three categories. However, I still get the error when I try to order prints. Any ideas? TY.

For the record, an email response from Apple gave these instructions, which did work:
"I understand you are having some difficulties with placing your print order and you are receiving a message saying that your account information has changed. I apologize for any frustration this may have caused you.
I would like to recommend taking the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
    1) Please go to store.apple.com/.
    2) Select "Account" at the top right hand corner of the page.
    3) Click "Login", and enter in your Apple ID and password.
    4) Click on "Change account information".
    5) Enter your password at the top in both the "Password (at least 6 characters)" and the "Retype your password" fields.
    6) Make sure the primary and shipping address information is correct. If not, make changes.
    7) Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to the "Method of Payment" section.
    8) Remove your credit card number, then click on "Continue".
    9) Open iPhoto and select "Buy Book".
    10) Click on "Account Info" (or "Set Up Account" if "Account Info" is greyed out)
    11) Enter in the same Apple ID and password you used to sign in to the Apple Store.
    12) You will be prompted to go through three different steps to enter in your billing information.
    13) Submit your order."

  • Please review your billing information and approve it

PLEASE help me before I pull out my hair!  I have a photo book I've created in iPhoto 09.  It's ready to be ordered (in-time for Christmas!) and no matter what I do, it comes back with a "please review your billing information and approve it".  There are two things in this repeated (at least 20 times) process that I find interesting 1) every time I re-enter my account info, it says I have an invalid city, state zip code combination and 2) when I try to check out my preferences in iPhoto it freezes up (spinning beach ball) and I have to force quit.  Here's what I've done already:
    1. restarted iPhoto
    2.  restarted computer
    3.  re-entered billing information in apple store
    4.  enabled one-click purchasing and express checkout options in apple store
    5.  trashed iPhoto preferences
    6.  deleted my keychain preferences
    7.  re-entered account info in iPhoto
    8.  double-checked that I choose United State
    9.  Changed credit cards and tried all the above over again
I'm out of ideas.  Someone PLEASE help me figure out what is going on!

every time I re-enter my account info, it says I have an invalid city, state zip code combination
The zip code error suggests you are ordering from an Apple Print Products Store in the wrong country.  Your Billing Address, Shipping Address, Credit Card, Apple ID must all be valid in the same country as the Apple Store is you are ordering from. Is the region setting in your System Preferences > Language & Region the same as the country of your Billing Address and Shipping Address?

  • Book Error: "Please review your billing information and approve it."

Hi, I'm trying to purchase a book I created. It's 34 pages, with as many RAW images. The whole process seems to go fine until the end, when it spits out a dialog saying my account settings have changed, "Please review your billing information and approve it."
I have erased and reset my account with different credit cards with no change. This is incredibly frustrating, and this is intended as a Christmas present, so I really need to resolve this. I've spent several hours on it already and need some help here in resolving it.

Success! I figured it out and just got it to go through! The fix was to set my billing preference to "express." It was set to standard, and I kept manually changing it to express in the order to get here faster. Apple might want to make a note of this so their customers don't get frustrated when they try to spend lots of money with Apple. Also, phone support for people struggling and pleading to spend money probably makes good business sense in this economy.

  • Web Based review and Approval

    Hello,
I have found some resources in apple website regarding the FCSvr web based review and approval, it is working with Ruby Rails. One thing I am testing with this is incorporating the website view to iPhone, I used H.264 video format for iPhone but it still seems not playable to the device. Thus anyone have tested this one?
    Thanks,
    William

I used Apple's own "Export for Web" in QuickTime Player to get started on the code to deliver for the iPhone. I haven't tried incorporating it into the Rails app from the developer's example, but it is a good place to start for working out the code to feed the iPhone with multiple bitrates. You can also look up Apple's MakeiPhoneRefMovie sample code.
Alternatively you can use HTML5's <video> tag, for which Apple provides some direction.

  • Acrobat v 9 pro unable to see review &  comments button

Using standard acrobat 5 SDK we have build an extension plugin for loading annotations when opening a document in IE browser, and similarly on click of save it stores the annotations back. This works fine with acrobat 6.0 pro but in 8 and 9 its not working. In 9.0, we do not see the review & comments when we open the plugin in IE. But we are able to open existing annotations and edit existing comments. We need to know what API changes are done between 6 and 8. If any of the 5.x SDK has been desupported and hwo do we get the comments button comeup in IE.

    Hi gmcshave,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your new MacBook Pro; I know printer config issues can be frustrating. It sounds like you have been on the right track in troubleshooting this issue. If you are still having issues adding your wireless printer to your Mac, you may want to double-check the steps outlined in the following article (apologies if you have already done so):

  • Shared Review comment server setup issues

I've been having some issues setting up a comment server/repository for Shared Reviews in Acrobat 8 (for our all-Mac network). I've done extensive research on how to set up a Network Folder and a WebDAV folder (since those are the only two supported methods in Acrobat 8).
    - For the Network Folder setup, I created a folder on one of the machines on our network and shared it using SMB. When specifying that location (using smb://IPAddress/Folder/), Acrobat either 1) brings up a login screen, into which I enter the proper credentials, and after pressing OK, it says the connection could not be made, or 2) it verifies the shared folder location, but when I make comments and then choose Publish Comments, a red box appears saying something to the effect of "cannot access IPAddress, will keep trying."
    - I also tried using WebDAV. Solutions I found online mostly consisted of using the Terminal to access system files and entering numerous lines of code. I pretty much had to learn about WebDAV from scratch today in order to get the Shared Reviews process set up, but I feel like there is something I'm missing regording its implementation.
I suppose this post can be boiled down to three questions:
    1) What is the best way to set up a Shared Review system, and how can it be done in the simplest manner possible?
    2) What am I missing from my knowledge of Network Folders and WebDAV folders in this regard?
    3) Would functionality be benefited by simply upgrading to Acrobat X?
Thank you all in advance for your responses and help. If there is any more information required in order to provide a solution, please let me know.

The roundcube db schema needs to setup manually. See /usr/share/webapps/roundcube/INSTALL
    Also, from your /etc/webapps/postfixadmin/config.inc.php:
    $CONF['domain_path'] = 'NO';
    $CONF['domain_in_mailbox'] = 'YES';
    $CONF['maildir_name_hook'] = 'NO';

    From your dovecot.conf
