BC4J - reverse generation - not all entities and views in same package
Hi
I want to use reverse generation, but separate all entity objects in package (my.entities) and View Object and view links in (my.views) not all in one package.
I can do this by generating entities first and then creating view objects and view links separately.
Can I do this in one step as we do if we want them in one package ?

When Executing program RSEOUT00, I am getting the below error
Not all IDocs should go to same port
Message no. E0034
Diagnosis
A function module for sending IDocs was called, that can only be called for a fixed port.
It was called for port 'SAPXI', but there was at least one entry with another recipient port in the table of control records to be sent.
Procedure
Please inform your system administration.
We checked Port, P{artner Profile, in both XI and ECC systems, they are ok.
So Could any one help me, why we are getting this error, and what is the reason for getting this error.

The problem might not be with respect to the definition of the PORT, but it might be with the data in the control record of the idocs.
If the number of IDOCs are less, you can check for the idocs' control records and see if all the idocs have the same port or not.

How can i generate simple Entities and View Objects ... automatically ?

I hope this is the right place i'm posting in. My question is ADF/Jdeveloper related.
Here is my problem. Where i work, we use xsd files to design our beans and we generate java classes from this xsd file. Then we design these beans again through Jdeveloper when creating Entities and related views, associations, view links... so we design our beans two times ... Moreover, 90% of the time, the work we do using Jdeveloper is the following : Writing CRUD operation that are almost the same every time.
So my question is very simple. What do you think is the best way to automatically generate entities, views, associations, views Links and why not module (module.xml and an empty implementation) from our xsd files. Then we'll use JDeveloper to customize the generated files.
Your help would be very appreciated, brahim !

When you use ADF Business Components, you don't need those beans at all and you don't need to write code for any of the CRUD operations. Can you clarify what role the beans play in the application?

How to keep all text and formats the same on multiple computers?
I'm creating a file in InDesign CS6 on my Windows computer. I keep everything on my flash drive. When I go to school, I bring my flash drive with me and open it up on the Mac computer, but then there are are compatibility issues. There seems to be missing fonts and formats but the school uses the same version of InDesign I do. Now I was told a lot of things of how to keep the fonts and formats the same (embed the links, package the files, outline the text, save as IDML). However, it is not clear to me what each of those options do, so I don't know when or why to use them. So I just want to make sure that when I bring in my file in next Monday, I won't have any missing fonts or formats. What would you suggest is the proper things to do to keep everything the same on multiple computers? And could you please explain why?
If you want cross-paltform comaptibility limit the fonts to OpenType or Windows TrueType formats, both of which work on both Mac and PC. To avoid missing font warnings the fonts must either be installed on each computer, or they must be in a folder named Document Fonts in the same location as the .indd file they are to work with. Packaging the file will build taht folder for you.
the rest of the stuff in your list won't help you. .idml would allow you to open on an older version, but does nothing for your situation. Embedding the links will keep you from having missing links, but so will packaging, and embedded links will make the file much larger and harder to work with.
For goodness sake, don't even think about outlining the text. It stops being text when you do that and you can no longer edit it.
And finally. do yourself a big favor and don't attempt to actually work on your file directly from the flash drive. Copy the whole package folder to the hard drive, work on it, then copy back. You don't want to know how many files are fatally damaged by write errors on flash drives. -
"bc4j.xcfg" file not in classpath (and not in JAR file)

I have a db, call it xyz.mdb
It suddenly is that SSMS is not listing the table objects nor the Views. SELECT * FROM sys.Tables and SELECT * FROM sys.Views work very fine. But when I click on the tables node, on Objects Explorer, Only the Systems Tables and File Tables folders
show.
Other DBs on same SQL instance do not show same problem. They are all working very fine.
I have backed up and restored this db on other computers and the behaviour is the same. Incidentally right-clicking the db and clicking Properties throws up this error message.

Problems opening files in DW CS4 - not all files and folders are showing
Hi!
I'm trying to change some already existing files on the homepage but when I click the Open button, it doesn't show all the files and folders, even if I ask it to show all files. When I open the ftp folder in Explorer, I can see everything. I'm using Vista and Dreamweaver is version 10.0 Build 4117.
Most of the unaccessible files and folders were created using Frontpage a long time ago but this also happens when I create new files, although the new ones I created used one of the old ones as a template. Any help would be appreciated! It's rather annoying not to be able to access all the files.

Not all albums and events synching to apple TV (2nd Gen)
Hi,
My 2nd gen apple tv wont sync all photos from my iphoto. It has just selected certain albums and events, without any real connection between them, excluding some albums i want on there.
Is there a memory limit to the amount it can sync? It will not load the last 5 events (all 2010 taken), and seems to only have a max of 10 albums, even if i create a new album.
Anyone having the same problem? I cannot see why it picks some and not others!

I have the latest itunes, iphoto and apple tv software.Hi
I have the same issue.
I can see all the albums on my tv, but if I want to run the slide show, it says "loadong" forever. Even if it is an album with just 5 pictures.
Another album with 270 pics is running perfectly.
Any help is appreciated.

OS4... Its not all doom and gloom
Initially I was disappointed. I have cooled down a lot since the heated moments of failure after the Hype of OS4. I knew multitasking was not going to be the included; the heads up of knowing it won’t be included was fine and fare. After the install I was itching to change the home menu wall paper.
To my surprise, all my app’s had been removed, and my Itunes library. Everything else was still there.
When I finally came to my own conclusion that the home menu wallpapers were not included, I started to get a little furious. It was within this state of mind when I found every other problem I was extremely negative.
Now the dust has settled, and I have used the phone with OS4 for a few days, I am getting used to the slowness. Yeah, I shouldn’t have to, but what can you do?
My phone does work fine. The apps’s will lag, or some times just crash. It’s a new OS, so, teething problems are going to happen.
My process of upgrading was simple. I put the phone in, Itunes said its usual dribble of new updates.
I downloaded and installed. It performed the back up first, then installed the new OS.
Just a few things:
• I don’t believe you need to do all these complex steps that every one has mentioned. If you are concerned, just do a back up first. Beyond that, it should sought it self out.
• I do not really believe there are corrupt data files that are causing dramas.
• Once installed, turn the phone of, and then sync it again. This fixed my photos from being blurry.
• Battery life has suffered, but this is a more complex OS. I just accept that now.
The update more or less offers Folder’s and a dictionary function for SMS’s. A few other little things that really aren’t worth while mentioning.
But besides that, after the dust as settled, I am not really having many dramas. I think it was the hype that charged me up to start fuming.
If there’s people out there who wanna hear something positive, well, yeah there’s good and bad.
Im not going to screw around jail breaking or reverting to OS3.
It might be wishful thinking, but I do think Apple will release and fix, or something. If they don’t well, Ill worry about that then.
Besides that, as I said, there’s good and bad.That pretty much sums up my feelings also. I did find that doing a restore, after day one helped my slowdowns a lot. People who are experiencing problems with lag should try doing a restore in iTunes.
**** it is better than when 2.0 came out, it was hard to even use my iPhone after the 2.0 update.

Why are Map IDs landing in Project Map File, not All Maps, and with a .h extension
I am using the Tech Comm Ste 2, Adobe Robohelp 8.0.2.2 in Windows XP. I assign map IDs manually instead of using automap. I open the Edit Map IDs window. In the right column, under "Topic," I select the topic I want to map. I then click the icon below to open the Context-sensitive Properties for Help Topic window. I select the topic title, without the .htm, and copy it. Then, from the left column, I click the Map File dropdown list and select the HH file to which I want to map the help topic. I then click the icon at the bottom to open the Create/Edit Map ID window. In the first field, I paste the topic ID, and in the second field I enter the map ID I want to assign. Then I click OK.
Usually this places the topic in the correct HH file, highlighted in yellow until I select the topic from the list and then click Assign. For some reason, RH is not adding my topic to the HH file; instead it is adding it to the Project Map file. When I click OK, I get a blank window and the Assign button is disabled. My topic shows up in the Project Map File. The topic displays with the HH files and a .h extension has been added to it.
I can't delete these topics from the Project Map file. I can't assign them map IDs. And this seems to happen randomly. SOMETIMES I can map my topics, but I never know when I can do it and when one of them is going to land in the Project Map file.
Can anyone help?Personally I've never had or heard of this issue. The fact that this appears to be random suggests that the MapFile dropdown may not be displaying the correct map file when you add or assign the mapid. Also check to ensure your project's source files are not located on a network drive as this can cause issues. If this continues perhaps you could give us an image of what you are seeing.
