BDC can't record scrolling action
Hi Experts,
I'm facing a problem in recording scrolling action in screen when doing BDC recording.
I have to enhance the standard SAP program in user exit (IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS) which is using BDC way in creating Sales Order when receive Inbound IDOC.
The new requirement is to fill in serial number in each item, the total of serial number needed depends on the quantity ordered for that item.
(in VA01, click on particular item, go "Extra" -> "Technical objects" and enter the serial number. Item with quantity 60 will have 60 serial numbers to enter.)
The problem is, when i try to enhance the BDC formed in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, the recording failed to record the scrolling down action when trying to fill in all serial number. (The screen only able to fill in max 19 serial numbers and requires scrolling after filling in 19 serial numbers)
Can someone please help and give me an idea on how to solve this problem?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Jason
Dear Jason,
I have the same requirements as you have to populate serial numbers for a sales order creation with IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS. Unfortunately, I was not able to make it work. Could you please be able to share your code with me so I understand where is my mistake.
Many thanks in advance.

I am running CS6 beta on Mac OS 10.7.3
Photoshop can't record an action where you insert the menu item "Tile all horizontally".
Expected behavior: add the tile all horizontally action to your actions.
Behavior: nothing happens.
This does work for Tile all vertically.Have I mentioned how much i love my playbook now Great job on os 2.0

Check out adjustment presets in the Help.

Can't record action when I want a logo to be on a specific spot!
Hi there,
When I'm doing colour separations, I want to record an action where logo can be place on specific spots.
I have tried 1 month already, and the action won't allow me to have my logo on the locations I want it to be.
For example, every time say I recorded an action where the logo has to be on X 0.8982 and Y 6.0926, and when I played again it just went somewhere else....
Is there way where I can record an action where I can place a logo on different specific places without doing it manually? Because It could be pain in the *** if the logo is a four colour job....
ThanksHey thanks so much for the reply...
I really hope someone can save me from this misery...
So here is the proof.. I have also used the transform panel to position (x and Y) the logos...it worked the first time but after when I used different logo with different shape and size, they just went flying to other places..... All I want is to record an action whenever I have a new logo, it can place right in the center of each circle, and enlarged to 200% in the big circle...simple as that.. Because so far I haven't found a way to make the action thing work (I probably experimented at least 50 actions) so I have to manually place the logo in each circle... I just couldn't figure out, I'm sure it's something super simple like forgetting a button or something. If you have a perfect way to solve this problem it would be wonderful... Step by step please...Thanks so much sorry...can you see the picture? -

Action Cam HDR-AS100VR can't record XAVC-S format, memory card incompatible?
Hello Sony, I've just purchased POV action cam HDR-AS100VR and I want to record XAVC-S format for a smooth and clear output. My initial micro sd card is class 10, 64GB scandisk ultra which I coud'nt useit to record XAVC-S format because of low read/write speed. So I decide to buy a new memory card, I found a 64 GB Scandisk Extreme Plus with 80Mb/s read and 50Mb/s write. I thought that was enough speed for the cam to record XAVC-S format, but the cam flashes MEDIA when I set it to XAVC-S format. I also tried reformating the sd card to exFAT, but still no luck. Any idea why? is my new memory card(almost US$100) not fast enough for the cam? If you can give me a list of memory card that can actualy record XAVC-S format on this cam will be big help.
Hi Naz,
This error happens when using a memory card that is not fast enough to record the data being saved by camera. An SDXC Memory Card of Class 10 or faster is required to record using the XAVC S format.
You just need to try other microSDXC card with a faster write/read speed.
For further assistance with your concern, we recommend visiting our Sony Global Web site for information on contacting the Sony Support Center in your region at http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/Support/.

My Small Business Router has been sending me email messages. This is a RVS-4000 version 1.
I just want to understand what my Router is emailing me or telling me...
The last message I received from my RVS-4000 was:
Oct 30 13:44:09 - IPSEC EVENT: KLIPS device ipsec0 shut down.
IPSEC EVENT sounds important. Whatever it is... And what is a KLIPS device ipsec0 shutdown????
I have Log Levels 0-3 selected...
Log Level
Setting which level log Router should recorder. Level from 0 ~ 7 means:
0: LOG_EMERG(system is unusable)
1: LOG_ALERT(action must be taken immediately)
2: LOG_CRIT(critical conditions)
3: LOG_ERR(error conditions)
4: LOG_WARNING(warning conditions)
5: LOG_NOTICE(normal, but significant, condition)
6: LOG_INFO(informational message)
7: LOG_DEBUG(debug-level message)
So, when I get any messages... I'm a little concerned. Because the RVS-4000 thinks it's an Error or better.
What I would like from Cisco is the meaning of all level 3 or lower email messages my Router can send to me. So, that I can take the appropriate actions.
I know Cisco inhered these Small Business Routers. When they bought Linksys. However, they have not discontinued them totally and they are still for sale. And Cisco has released a new version 2 of the same Router. So I believe Cisco should support them as well.
Yes, I'm a pain to Cisco. However, I think you understand I'm being scared by my Routers messages to me... And would like some relief.
BruceGreat suggestions. Problems is this is not the forum for your "wish list" as Apple does not read these USER forums.

Command Line Variables Usage
Command line variables are specified using <name=value>; for example:
[ session: | compName: | compName:version: ]variableName=" valueOfVariable"]
Session/Installer variables are specified using:
[session:]varName=value
Ex 1: session:ORACLE_HOME_NAME="OraHome"
Ex 2: ORACLE_HOME_NAME="OraHome"
The lookup order is session:varName then just varName. The session prefix is
used to avoid ambiguity.
Component variables are specified using:
[compInternalName:[Version:]]varName
Ex 1: oracle.comp1:1.0.1:varName="VarValue"
Ex 2: oracle.comp1:varName="VarValue"
The lookup order is compInternalName:Version:varName, then compInternalName:
varName, then just varName.
Please press Enter to exit...Hi,
There is no record option with 11gR2.
There is no need to use '-record' flag to record/save the response file. At Summary page of installation, 11gR2 installer provides option to save the response file. We can perfom the silent installation using this saved response file
Unix:
./runInstaller -silent -responseFile <saved_response-file>
Windows:
c:\software\11.2.0.1\database\setup.exe -responseFile <saved_response-file>

Can't record more than 71:16 of audio in any session
Thanks ahead of time for your help.
When I open a new session, arm an audio track and start recording, Logic Pro inform me that I have 71:15 left of recording space. I have more than 80gig free on my recording drive. Once I run out those 71:15 of recording, I can't record any more audio in that track. Arming the track and pressing record makes the computer try to record, but then something happens (a window flashes faster than I can read it) and the session is simply put into play at the insertion point. I have turned of the maximum recording time, and I've also tried setting it to 500 minutes.
Help please...

the track end marker for future reference can be found in two places:
1. scroll to the end of the arrange page (horizontally). at the top of the screen is the time ruler - you should see a small white box. on the left the numbers are in white and to the right the numbers are greyed out because that's where logic will stop recording. drag the marker to the right and the number of bars in the arrange page will increase.
2. in the transport, below the tempo display is a number - this represents the bar where logic will play upto. Cick, hold and drag up or down to increase/decrease it.
Hope that helps

Can we create scroll bar Table in ADE?
Hi All,
Can we create scroll bar Table in ADE. Please refer the enclosed attachment Table.JPG.
We used the following CSS property, which is displaying the scroll bar table in HTML but not in ADE.
#table_data {width:400px; overflow:auto; }
Please Suggest.
Regards,
JaffarHi Swathi,
The whole concept of internal table is to manipulate the data at runtime.
This replaces the concept of two dimentional array in other languages.
The power of internal tables is it gets lakhs of records at runtime. I mean it can accomodate lots of records at runtime.
So you can create a table type in DDIC and use it to declare your internal table.
Yes, You can create global internal tables for function modules.
By declaring the internal table in top include you can use this internal table all the function modules of that function group. So if one function module is filling the data another can use it as it is stored globally.
Hope this answers your curiosity.
Award points if useful else getback.

Recording script actions in an action
Is it possible to record the steps that a script performs (e.g. creating a new layer, switching to a certain layer, applying a filter) in an action? When you activate the record button on the Action panel and run a script, only the script execution is recorded and not the things that the script does. Is there a way to pass the script steps to the Action panel so that it records it?
Davide, I did not try anything new in this direction yet. It is a pity that operatons triggered by a script, panel or plugin cannot be recorded by the Actions panel. Only manually performed operations seem to have that privilege.
But I still have not given up hope that there is a workaround to make it possible anyway. Maybe if the operations are triggered via simulated key shortcuts, they may be recorded by Photoshop. That would probably only be possible via a plugin or if a script calls a function from a .dll file. But not all things can be done that way.
Another option would be to dynamically save a script on the hard drive for each operation and then trigger each script to produce a new recording step. But then these script files need to stay on the harddrive as long as the action is still in use. But I do not know if that would really work.
Maybe it is also possible somehow to inject an event into the scripting system that can be recorded. But so far I have no idea how to do that.
