BDC uploaded file needs to be extracted

Hi,
Is that possible to extract the file that has been uploaded via BDC. I can understand that a BDC code only reads the data from a file either txt, xcel etc.. and its not first saving the file itself anywhere in tables.
Let me know the optimum way to get this file out (any format). But all the data that has been read should be pulled out. And also it should have the details of uploading time and date.
If this can be done? Thanks in advance.

HERE i am getting the message like "specified table name not recgonised" . the data is not populating into the itab from the file.

i had a problem with this bdc , i am getting like "specified table name not recgonised" in the fm gui_upload while debugging.
when i am using the ws_upload it is working fine.
please guide me where i have done the mistake.

Does driver jar file needs to be extracted before giving java command?

I wrote a JDBC program, where it will pull the data from Sybase and Push into Oracle. That program is working fine in Eclipse IDE. But when i tried to make it make it work from the command program, by giving javac and java commands..., it didnt work.
Finally i realised that, it is working when i extract the driver jar files (sybase and Oracle, ojdbc.jar and jconn3.jar ) using jar xvf utility.
Do we need to do that? or is there any smart way that we can just mention the drivers path and make it work?
For your information, i set the CLASSPATH and JDBC_HOME to the driver location.

I am new to batch input programming.I have a flat file which i have to upload using the standard batch input program RFBIBL00 for transaction FB01.COuld anyone tell me whether i can directly run this program or should i write another program to call this.

   The reason why you might not be able to see the whole
set of data in AL11 could be the fixed width. For you to
check whether the data is exactly in the same position
use transaction SXDB.
1. Goto transaction SXDB.
2. Use Menupath: Goto-> DX Tols
3. Give object type: BKPF
        Program type: DINP
        Program: RFBIBL00
4. Select 'P' for File Type
5. Give the path and file name for File Name i.e '/usr/sap/file'.
6. Click on Display in application toolbar
7. Next screen will show you the structres and the data w.r.t the file if itz in the right format.

There is a method to upload some files automatically from some fixed folder without authorization or a method for upload a folder?
The normal method to upload file need a human file selection and we want a method to avoid uploading files one by one.

During run time we can provide path of the folder(which will static always) for file to be downloaded and set the path with context (Address for file ), further It require parsing to make data available inside our Context.

I also faced the same problem. To make this code work you will have to include the image.jpg in the jar. To do that, copy the image file in the src directory inside your project folder (if you are using netbeans) and then build the project.
Remember, the web server should be running in background.

Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.

And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.

How to get uploaded file name and path in BefExportToDat event script

I would like to get hold of the uploaded file name and full path in the event script "BefExportToDat", as I need to extract values from particular fields. However I have not yet found a way to do this.
- The input variable "strFile" returns the .Dat file path in the Outbox, to which it is about to export the data. This is no use to me.
- The API variable RES.PstrFilename is returning nothing
I am using RES.PstrFilename in the "BefFileImport" event script in a different FDM application and it works fine, however I need to find a way to get this to work in the "BefExportToDat" event script.
Please let me know how this might be achieved.

I am looking through the API calls in FDM Workbench, but cannot see the table (tPOVPartitions) you mentioned listed. Is this the correct name? And do I just use the function listed in the object browser to run the query?
Furthermore (going back to my initial thoughts of using strFile), it appears that although the variable contains the .Dat filename and path, the actual file is non-existent when "BefExportToDat" is executed:
Error:
Error: Export failed.
Detail: File not found.
This would make sense, but it does make the variable "strFile" a little pointless since one cannot make use of the file in this particular event script. Do you please have any thoughts on this?

I need to upload a file to server, but from my code, not using the file upload from page.
I have created a xml file and I need to upload to server when user open a web browser (without asking user to select a file).
How do I proceed??, or what kind of libraries do I must use?

Once the file is on the server with another bean I read the xml fileWhy don't you simply store it in the application scope and let everyone access it from there? It doesn't sound as if the XML is huge.
As you can see I haven't a web page where to show an upload file componetYou also don't want to "upload" anything from the client, from the sound of it.
You simply want to transfer data between to server-side components, if I understood you correctly.

Problem in upload file using oreilly classes

I stucked on a problem......
I want to upload file from html page....On this page I want only a upload button so that when I click on this button file will upload from my client m/c to server m/c....
I have code n all but browse button on html page....now I want to remove this browse button n want to give the file path somewhere in the code itself........so that on html page there will only the uplod button and by click on this button file will upload from client to server.......server path already there in code.....Please do the needful
