BEA-141151 The admin server could not be reached at ...

I have been at this for 3 days now... I created a new ManagedServer, but I'm not able to make it connect to the Admin server.
The Admin server is running and listening on port 5306. I can connect to the Admin Console (web).
I can also connect to the Admin server via WLST, using this command: connect('operator','operator01','t3://localhost:5306')
However, when I try to run the managed server from a script, it does not see the Admin server. This is the command I run:
java -Dweblogic.Name=ManSer1 -Dweblogic.management.server=t3://localhost:5306 -Dweblogic.RootDirectory=<path to my domain> weblogic.Server
This is the error I get:
<BEA-141151> <The admin server could not be reached at http://localhost:5306.>
I believe it's trying to connect using "http", because I've never actually connected in the past. Here is a website explaining this: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13749/weblogicserver.htm#i1031832
Note: Regardless of which protocol you specify, the initial download of a Managed Server's configuration is over HTTP or HTTPS. After the RMI subsystem initializes, the server instance can use the T3 or T3S protocol.
I'm not sure what else to try... Firewalls are not in play, since this is traffic moving around on the local machine. I'm running on SunOS. Weblogic is version 9.2 MP3.

Is the NodeManager , AdminServer running ?The NodeManager is not running. Is it required?
Also, I haven't closed the command prompt.
I noticed the issue when I tried to deploy my project. Connected to Localhost/7001 but in the deploy project window, I dont see any soa_server instance
running. Also, in the console the soa_server status is shutdown.

Maybe this is applicable
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

i do not know what this means. I purchased the phone brand new two years ago and have never had any problems with it. The message i am getting reads:
"your iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. try connecting your iphone to itunes (which i don't have) to activate it, or try again over cellular connection in a couple minutes. (which i have tried several times with no success) you can also try to activate using wi-fi connection (which i do not have). if this problem persists, contact apple support at apple.com/support."

It won't let me set up my phone due to the wifi- it keeps coming up with "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server could not be reached". 3 possible causes for this message:
1] activation server is actually down. Extremely rare occurrence and of very short duration
if it happens.
2] iPhone is jailbroken or hacked.
3] computer the iPhone is hooked to has been used to jailbreak or hack iOS devices.
For 1], try again. Try different wifi at friend's, school, public place like Starbucks or McDonalds.
For 2] & 3], you are on your own. Google may provide some insight. Terms of Use for this
forum prohibit discussion of hacked and jailbroken devices.

HT4623 I'm upgrading to ios 7, and I'm getting a message saying "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server could not be reached" I've gotten this now 10 times and have even tried activating it through iTunes which also did not work.

I am trying to upgrade my phone to iOS 7, I restored it so it would download the new software and now it is telling me that it cannot be activated. How do I get around this?

unfortunately no, a million people are attempting to update their phones right now, and thus activate them. Patience will have to suffice.
For the future, I would recommend not updating essential work devices on the launch day

Administration Server could not be reached

I have installed WebLogic 12c on a WinXP machine and configured a domain in development mode. Apart from the admin server there is only one managed server ms1.
By using the startup scripts I am successfully able to start both AdminServer and ms1 and access the console.
Then I enabled SSL ports on both AdminServer & ms1, enabled the domain Administration port, and overrode Local Administration Port for ms1.
The different port values are:
Administration Port = 9002
AdminServer (Listen Port = 7001, SSL Listen Port = 7002, Local Administration Port Override = 9002)
ms1 (Listen Port = 7011, SSL Listen Port = 7012, Local Administration Port Override = 9012)
Then I am able to start AdminServer from startWebLogic and it duly shows:
<Notice> <Server> <BEA-002613> <Channel "DefaultAdministration" is now listening on 127.0.0.1:9002 for protocols admin, ldaps, https.>
Also able to access the console at this point.
However then when I try to start ms1 using startManagedWebLogic.cmd ms1 https://127.0.0.1:9002 it is not able to connect to the admin server:

<Info> <Configuration Management> <BEA-150018> <This server is being started in Managed Server independence mode in the absence of the Administration Server.>
As mentioned before I am able to access the console from https://localhost:9002/console and netstat output shows:

What could be the reason that while starting up ms1 is not able to connect to AdminServer on 9002? But all is fine when the administration port is not enabled.

The problem still persists. I even tried changing a few of the port values and also the administration protocol to https from t3s but they didn't help.

Dear All,
I've configured the Mail Transport in Portal successfully with SMTP as MS Exchange Server and Third-party Mailing servers. But due to some licensing issues a new MS Exchange mail server have been setup replacing the existing ones.
And when i configure the Mail Transport in the system i get the below message on the eMail Window:
"Error: The e-mail server could not be reached when the system was trying to send the message!
javax.mail.MessaginException: 530 5.7.1 Client ws not authenticated
I've configured (all the steps) the same way as i used to before and restarted the server as well! Please let me know the issue to be resolved, the telnet to the mailserver is also successful. I've try'd searching SDN, didn't find the exact solution... any notes on this?

It will depend on your infrastructure, I am not sure and have limited knowledge on netowrks, but in my current landscape both the system were in same domain, but still i had to maintain proxy configuration.
Since it giving authentication error, it feel it could be proxy error.

I have a 1st generation Nano and haven't updated the software for a while. My internet connection is working. Was thre a change in the internet address for NANO software updates? Do I have to reconfigure something in Itunes to point to the correct address?

What version of iTunes are you using? The latest is 10.6.3. In iTunes, choose Help -> About iTunes to check the version number. If it's lower than 10.6.3, download the latest version from here.

How to resolve "The specified Server could not be found" issue

I reinstalled my Mac OS X. (Format and and install)
Installation was successful but i can't connect to the world(Internet.)
Whenever i start Internet explorer it will prompt me "The specified Server could not be found"
MY current Settings:
Configure: Built-in Ethernet
TCP/IP: Configure Using DHCP, the reset setting are blank.
I'm using Cable modem (Starhub - Singapore Internet Services provider) and connect to a router & from router i used LAN cable connect G4 Ethernet port.
Any1 can give me a hand to resolve this issue, please.

If you get the message that the server could not be found you should wait for a few minutes until the diagnostics launches automatically with the FIVE yellow, green or red balls to indicate ISP, Ethernet & other status reports...

FWIW, back at work we have a Palo Alto Networks firewall and VPN. Have configured both the iPhone and the iPad with the pertinent details.
If I connect while in the premises (same LAN), connection is instantaneous and flawless.
If I connect while away, no matter which external network, the first attempt to connect ALWAYS fails with a NOT FOUND error. Yet if I try again immediately after, it ALWAYS connects with no further issues.

We were able to fix our machine! I just could not make sense of the error message, so we were trying non-Microsoft, non-Apple solutions.
Our Solution: Install MalWareBytes, and run a Quick Scan.
Even thought both Microsoft anti-virus and Defender were running on our Windows 8 machine, MalWareBytes found about 100 problems. As I looked over the types of problem and locations, I found several that referenced the exact directory referenced in this message. The machine had to be restarted for MalWareBytes to complete the cleaning, but iTunes installed afterwards with no problems.
