Is Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases: ON (green)?
Some In-App Purchases works only with credit card.

You should still have your profile folder, so when you install 3. you will get your bookmarks and other user data back.

- You need a valid payment method even for free apps. Purchase an iTunes gift card and redeem it into your account

I have been making in-app purchases with PayPal for over a year. Now I cannot. I changed my payment method to Credit card, but still can't. I can purchase music in itunes but no game purchases. My ID was disabled after a paypal dispute but after an entire evening on the phone with support and security, that was resolved. Any suggestions? If I have to spend more time on the phone with support, I will. But I would rather not.

I took my Ipad to my local Apple store as it would not d`load or update apps. They factory restored it,on icloud backup restore not all my apps were restored including some i`d paid for, they show up on my list of appsin icloud, how can i get them back? any help very welcome, thanx...Andrew
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I Changed my payment information to a different credit card, now it won't work. The new credit card has been used for online purchasing all the time but I can't buy anything on iTunes or in game app purchases.
What do you mean by 'won't work' and 'can't buy anything' ? If you are getting an error message when trying to buy things then what does it say ?

I never had problems before buying apps for my iphone 4s. I even bought some today. then I started getting a message that paypal is not compatible with itunes and I had to go to my account and put a defferent payment. I did that but I still can't buy apps or even download free apps. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?

You would need to add the iTunes Gift Cards on their devices or Apple ID. Once that is done, they should be able to make a purchase and pay with their iTunes credit first and what ever is left over will go towards your payment information. I think my granddaughter bought a $3.99 app after I put the password in for a free app. I just got an email from my credit card confirming the purchase. How can I find out what she purchased? Can I get credit for it?
The password is good for 15 minutes to make purchases. You should receive a receipt in 24 to 48 hours for the purchases. There is a link to Report an issue. You could use that to start a conversation with iTunes Support about a refund.
Apple considers all sales final. But has been known to offer a one time refund. So the question is, do you want to use your one time refund on this purchase or one more expensive in the future? -
