BeginDDL is failing with no data found ORA-01403

It appears to us that running the AlterVersionedTable command to drop an index has caused an issue for one of our tables that is versioned.
begin
dbms_wm.AlterVersionedTable(
table_name=>'PAC_PMD.CURRENT_DMS',
alter_option=>'DDL',
parameter_options=>'ddl=drop index PAC_PMD.CURRENT_DMS_UK1, force=true', ignore_last_error=>true);
end;
After running this command and then trying to execute BeginDLL we are getting the error ORA-01403 – No Data Found.
Also the state of the table in all_wm_versioned_tables is set to VERSIONED.
Any ideas?

Hi Ben,
So how do we create the index again? AlterVersionedTable does not allow for creating an index and beginddl is failing. Oracle suggested to disable versioning but we are still getting no data found.
Error starting at line 1 in command:
exec dbms_wm.disableversioning('PAC_PMD.CURRENT_DMS', ignore_last_error=>true)

    It will be wise to run the Oracle supply streams health check script to check your existing streams environment.
    From the result, you can also open a tar with Oracle to see if they can help you with the setup.
    In addition to the ORA-01403 error, you can also run some of the Oracle Streams packages (Managing Apply Errors) to see the full detail of what is missing that caused the Ora-01403 error.
    I will also try to implement a smoke test using the simple heartbeat table suggested by Oracle Streams, if that is working, then you can begin your full scale setup in your environment knowing that the base Streams Structure is setup correctly.

  • Failed to parse SQL query: ORA-01403: no data found

    I'm going to post and answer my own question in the hope that others will not have to struggle with this error.
    Using a report of the type PL/SQL Function Body Returning SQL and using generic columns you may run into this error
    failed to parse SQL query:
    ORA-01403: no data found
    The SQL will run stand alone but the report fails.
    There is a setting just below the source you should check:
    "Maximum number of generic report columns"
    In my case the number of columns was dynamic and when it exceeded the number set as the maximium number of generic columns I received the 1403 error.
    Hope this helps someone.
    Greg

    Thanks for much for the pointer. For anyone else struggling with this too, I found that my generic columns had unordered themselves. Reordering them solved the problem for me.

    Can you check the following ?
    a. Hopefully the when you execute the procedure using sql tool it works fine and returns data.
    b. Is there any input parameter available for procedure ?
    c. IF yes, is the parameter is mapped with the procedure parameter and populated with value before calling the procedure ?
    d. In the audit trial, you can see from the invoke activity to see whether the parameter is populated with value or not ?
    e. Check the input parameter by executing the procedure with sql tool to see whether this request is receiving any data in return or not ?

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to configure grid agent 10.2.0.5 on Windows server 2008 (x64).
    One step is to configure host credentials in GRID enterprise manager.
    When I put those credentials (user and password) I recive the following error:

    I could not find anything in MetaLink.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks in advance.

    If you search in MOS for: ORA-06512: in "SYSMAN.MGMT_CREDENTIAL"
    you will find 9 hits.
    Could be a number of things.
    1- target server does not have a FQDN but only short name. Check your targets.xml file on de target server if the server has a short or long name.
    Can you ping the OMS server by ip-address, short name, FQDN from the target server. From the OMS server can you ping the target server by ip,short name and FQDN?. If not check your hosts file or DNS.
    2- Is the host user giving the problem or is it the SYDBA user? Is the SYSDBA user granted sysdba rights?
    3- Is the DBConsole agent running also on the target?
    4- Other?
    If 1:
    Drop all targets from the target server in OMS (drop the agent as the last one)
    Stop the agent
    set oma_home= <path to agent_home>
    / should be \

  • At DI R3trans fails with this error code ORA-12545, but CI runs

    Hello Gurus,
    We have our BW System on two instances with a separated oracle database server.

    A telnet connection test to port 1527 are also unsuccessful.
    But sporadicly the telnet or R3trans connection are successful, but the second check are unsuccessful.
    We have checked the telnet connection to another oracle database server (ERP) at port 1527 and it works.
    The CI have some entry's in ST22 with DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR --> ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE.
    Are someone known something about this issue?
    regards
    Chris

    @ Sunny Pahuja:
    We checked sapmnt.
    Sapmnt is common on CI and DI. It was never mounted on DB. But DB runs perfectly until this issue.
    @ Ankit Gupta
    We checked the configuration of listener.
    It is the same like the listener configuration of our ERP system with CI, DI and DB on separate Servers, too.

  • Loading failed with no error found

    Hello expert,
           I have a failed data loading with following message :
    "Request still running
    Diagnosis
    No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
    System Response
    The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
    or
    the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded
    or
    the background job has not yet finished in the source system.
    Current status
    in the source system"
    Many Thank

    HI,
    you can check the same with same data source in RSA3 of ECC system , from where we are gtting daat and check how much time it is taking , if there are many records and taking huge time means you can wait until job compltes.
    you can check that either job is completed or not ,go to monitar tab of that info pacakage---->go to header tab and copy the request name(REQU_D9PVODVYMNA1U84GAWCA98XFZ likethat it will be there in your system) for that request add BI as prefix and check the same job in SM37  in source(from where we are getting data).
    in SM37 it shows job is completed , then it is a problem , if it is custom code check the loop in module , either it is ending propely or never end loop is running when data data extarction is doing.
    then every thing is fine, once again make that request as red and replicate the data sourec and run the infopackage once again.
    Thansk & Regards,
    sathish

  • What's the deal with 'no data found in tabular form' in apex 4.1

    We recently upgraded to 4.1 to resolve some of the issue found in 4.0. I have a form that populates a collection....it had previously worked in earlier versions and now I receive the following error when I try and SAVE.
    any thoughts?
    Contact your application administrator.
    no data found in tabular form

    HI Joel, thanks for getting back to me.
    We recently moved from apex 4.0 to 4.1. I have an application that makes use of collections. All was working in 4.0, but now I am having problems with 4.1. I would be happy to move place application in more convenient spot, but need specific instructions as I am not certain how to do that.
    basically, I have a report region, FAVORITES based on a collection (source listed below):
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox (1,seq_id, 'onclick="highlight_row(this,'
    || seq_id
    ||')"', NULL, ':', 'f01_'
    || LPAD (seq_id, 4, '0') ) delete_checkbox,
    apex_item.hidden(2,seq_id) seq_id,
    apex_item.hidden(3,seq_id),
    apex_item.text_from_LOV(c004,'SPECIES')SPECIES_ITIS,
    apex_item.text_from_LOV(c005,'GRADE')GRADE,
    apex_item.text_from_LOV(c006,'MARKETCODE') MARKET_CATEGORY,
    apex_item.text_from_LOV_query(c007,'select unit_of_measure d, unit_of_measure r from species_qc') unit,
    apex_item.text(8,c008,5) fav_order,
    apex_item.select_list_from_lov
    (9,
    c009,
    'DISPOSITIONS',
    'style="width:200px;background-color:#FBEC5D; "',
    'YES',
    '0',
    '- Select Disposition -',
    'f09_' || LPAD (seq_id, 4, '0'),
    NULL,
    'NO'
    ) disposition_code
    from apex_collections
    where collection_name = 'C_DEALER_SPECIES_FAV' order by seq_id desc, c008
    The collection appears and I am able to add rows to this collection. The problem is when I SAVE. The following is executed (and again, works fine in 4.0).
    declare
    dispositionCode varchar2(3);
    begin
    delete from frequent_species where permit_id = :G_permit_id;
    for rec in (select c004,c005, c006, c007,c008,c009,:G_permit_id from apex_collections where collection_name = 'C_DEALER_SPECIES_FAV')
    loop
    if rec.c009 = '0' then
    dispositionCode := null;
    else
    dispositionCode := rec.c009;
    end if;
    insert into FREQUENT_SPECIES (species_itis, grade_code, market_code, unit_measure, fav_order, disposition_code,permit_id) values(rec.c004,rec.c005, rec.c006, rec.c007,rec.c008,dispositionCode,:G_permit_id);
    end loop;
    exception when no_data_found then null;
    end;
    I receive the message:
    Contact your application administrator.
    no data found in tabular form
    Return to application.
    Let me know what you think. thanks for your help. Karen

    At first I thought maybe this is a configuration specific problem -- but I was able to replicate this on two separate machine with clean Win2K and Oracle9i installs.
    It seems like it is not finding a particular class, which leads me to believe that some particular jar is probably missing -- can anyone help me figure out which one? Or is there something else that may be going wrong?
    TIA

    You need to make sure you're using the Oracle9i JDBC driver, or using the Oracle 8.1.7.2 JDBC driver as I mentioned above.
    If you are using JDeveloper9i release 9.0.2 or 9.0.3, the driver you need is in <jdevhome>\jdbc\lib
    Otherwise, you can also download the drivers from OTN.

    After the jumpstart fails and I get a shell prompt, when I run 'format' I see no disks. It tells me "no disks found" also. What am I doing wrong?

    What device are you trying to use as a virtual disk? I think you are exporting a pseudo
    device volume (ZFS or SVM volume?). In such a case that volume is exported as a
    single slice disk (disk with only a s0 slice) and the Solaris installer is not able to handle
    such a disk.
    So you have to create a file with mkfile(1M) and then export that file as a virtual disk.
    Be aware of bug 6544963 (vdisk can lose label when rebinding domain) after your
    installation is completed and carefully read the instructions on my blog about this
    problem:

    I would probably rebuild the host machine. The Exchange installation should occur without any issues, and where a problem does occur that can be an indication of a more widespread problem. Rebuild the machine, reinstall the prerequisites and try again.

    Hello Poster.
    I am having the same issue, however it is most likely NOT a host box problem. The above advice is not a fix. I have 3 servers that are cloned with the same setup. 2 were fixed by doing the Vista compatibility trick, this one gave a different error (which
    happened to be the same as above). This org was a 5.5 to 2000. to 2003 coexistence with 2007 currently(because the mailbox role won't install). It has something to do with AD or permissions. Server 2008 r2 inherently has problems installing exchange.
    Example, having to use vista compatibility to get the mailbox role to install. SP2 patch gives the same error to some people, and also doesn't upgrade the mailbox role properly in some cases. Some people have had luck restarting the IIS admin service, but
    that did not solve my copy of this error. I will repost here if I find a solution to this issue...
    Same exact setup log for me as well.

    Just curious though, how long is your FQDN? Mine is 34 characters plus whatever exchange is adding to it during setup for this particular string. I found a post with the same error for ISA server and some buffer is only 100 characters for a system call.

  • Import failed with errors/warnings like   ORA-31684/ORA-39082

    Hello,
    While doing IMPDP actvity i am getting messages like ORA-31684: Object type PACKAGE_BODY:"APPS"."AZ_DELETE" already exists and ORA-39082: Object type PACKAGE_BODY:"APPS"."FND_DM_PRODUCTS_PKG" created with compilation warnings
    Complete Import log file, same messages were encountered like ORA-31684 and Ora-39082
    Can you please suggest.
    Thanks,
    DBA

    First of all mention your Oracle Version and Operating Systems
    ORA-39082 is a warning You can run utlrp.sql to recompile all the objects that fails and that script is present in Oracle_Home\rdbms\admin
    If these errors are less you can recompile every warning as :--
    SQL>alter package schema_name.package_name compile;
