BENEFITS: Reporting

Hi Gurus,
Reports:
1. During open enrollment window, is there a report that exists in SAP which gives the information on the number of employees who has made enrollment changes -  count as well as details like employee number. This will be helpful for the benefit admin to send a email reminder for the remaining employees to make enrollment.
2. Is there a report in SAP that provides a list of employees and the associated action reason for which enrollment changes have not been made yet.
For example, if there was a mass new hire like 100 employees, the benefits administrator should get the new hire employee numbers who have not sent the elections yet and send them a reminder.
Another example: Benefits administrator might enter the dependent and the corresponding adjustment reason and forget to make the enrollment changes.
SOLUTION WOULD BE SUITABLY REWARDED.
Thanks & Regards
Kumarpal Jain.

Not really a correct answer. If the software is tested very well, then why would you want me to consider joining Muse Prerelease? This would be a time consuming job with no pay correct? Not ever free Creative Cloud? Is that not so?
Trying to follow your logic here. Either you need more help to test, because testing isn't good enough or everything is just fine and new release don't harm customer's businesses. It's one or the other.
Testing isn't good enough and "very well" is a poor and incorrect description. Don't you think?

  • EBS R12.1.x    HR Analytics - 7.9.6.1  [Benefits Dashboards]

    In 7.9.6.1 (EBS R12.1.x), is there any benefits reports or Dashboards?
    Looking at RPD I do not see any such subject area, when I look at the other industry tools, benefit suite of reports include as below. Does this imply that OBIA does not have that even in 7.9.6.1. Any idea if these data elements are in DW so that custom reports can be done? Any of these are standard EBS side Oracle Reports?
    Benefits
    ► Accrual plans
    ► Employee eligibility
    ► COBRA premium payments and tracking
    ► Healthcare benefit assignments
    ► Beneficiaries

    I have now confirmed that 7.9.6.1 does not have "Benefits" related reports for HR.
    Thanks

  • Benefits of SAP Business Warehouse Reporting compared with the Query-tools?

    Hello experts,
    I've been creating reports with SAP Query tools, but been faced with few problems. First of all, there are restricted possibilities in terms of joining tables, and thus I cannot include all the data required for the report.
    One solution for this would have been to create separate queries and join the data together in Excel. The problem with this is that there exists no common field that would make sense as for a selection criterion. If the selection criterion is different in different queries, there is the danger of combining false data together, which would eventually result with distorted data.
    So I was wondering, could anyone briefly tell me if SAP Business Warehouse reporting would solve these problems? And what other benefits would it provide compared with the SAP Query? I'd urgently need to know if it would be a beneficial investment for the company, since I haven't found solutions for the problems occurred in the creation of reports.
    Thank you in advance for you help!
    Maria

    The answers are yes - and thousands of companies have gone down this route
    Puttingin BW is a strategic aim of the comapny and not to be thought about and discussed in a BI forum such as this
    The costs of implementation and hardware will no doubt make your eyes water.
    To be quite honest SAP BI is a "no brainer" as most of the new e-SOA and new R3 modules reply on BW for their reporting needs

  • Need Standard report layout for Benefits

    Hi,
    Can anyone send me the standard report layout for benefits which is already generated.
    Thanks,
    Lakshmi

    Do you want a enrollment letter or a confirmation letter ? They are all there in the IMG as templates. Just copy it and design your own. No two businesses use the same format so sending you ours will be as good as you doing some work on the SAP delivered examples.

    3. Is it possible to implement the Forms product without web browser help , I mean independent controller contacts through back end web logic server ?
    4. Is It Possible to have more user friendly forms product, I mean fields editing at run time? or more features?
    5. Will be getting the Migration assistance tool for 11g r2 to Oracle 12c ?
    Many thanks in advance, will appreciate your highly attention on the same .

  • Reporting a bug benefits Adobe as it should, but there isn't any actual help for customers.

    After numerous attempts to get through to support, I actually ftp'd a Muse file to Muse support to demonstrate the problem. After testing herself she says:: "This is a bug" It came with a Muse update. Software releases are clearly not beta tested. You the customer are the beta tester. In this case my websites were all ruined during the conversion process. Functions such as the bevel effect, fail with the update, and a master page does not transfer acdurately to multiple pages within the site. This is major error. I found a work around, but I had to rebuild each and every page of each and every website. Thank you Adobe. What's ironic is I paid them to do this to my business. I paid them to frustrate my clients.
    See response below.

    Hi Paul,
    Regarding our conversation, the issue has been lodged as a bug with bug # 3942664. The dev teams are testing it.
    As of now, you may have to use the work around to copy and paste in place. I apologize for this inconvenience.
    Regards,
    Neha

    Not really a correct answer. If the software is tested very well, then why would you want me to consider joining Muse Prerelease? This would be a time consuming job with no pay correct? Not ever free Creative Cloud? Is that not so?
    Trying to follow your logic here. Either you need more help to test, because testing isn't good enough or everything is just fine and new release don't harm customer's businesses. It's one or the other.
    Testing isn't good enough and "very well" is a poor and incorrect description. Don't you think?

  • How To Restrict Number Of Rows For Multiple Group In Report Output

    Hi ,
    I have a requirement to restrict number of rows in report output.I have three different group , if i use same no of rows to restrict then output is as expected but if i want Deduction group should have 7 rows , earning should have 5 rows and Tax group have 3 rows in report output then XML tag is not working.
    Below is the XML tag i am using -
    First i have declare the variable to restrict the rows -
    <xsl:variable name="lpp" select="number(7)"/>
    <xsl:variable name="lpp1" select="number(5)"/>
    <xsl:variable name="lpp2" select="number(3)"/>
    For Each -
    <?for-each:PAYSLIP?>
    <xsl:variable xdofo:ctx="incontext" name="DedLines" select=".//AC_DEDUCTIONS"/>
    <xsl:variable xdofo:ctx="incontext" name="EarLines" select=".//AC_EARNINGS[ELEMENT_CLASSIFICATION!='Taxable Benefits']"/>
    <xsl:variable xdofo:ctx="incontext" name="EarTaxLines" select=".//AC_EARNINGS[ELEMENT_CLASSIFICATION='Taxable Benefits']>
    <?for-each:$DedLines?><?if:(position()-1) mod $lpp=0?> <xsl:variable name="start" xdofo:ctx="incontext" select="position()"/>
    <?if:(position()-1) mod $lpp1=0?><xsl:variable name="start1" xdofo:ctx="incontext" select="position()"/
    <?if:(position()-1) mod $lpp2=0?><xsl:variable name="start2" xdofo:ctx="incontext" select="position()"/>
    Report output is tabular form (one page has two column - Earning and Deduction ) . Tax group comes below earning group.
    Deduction Group -
    <?for-each-group:$DedLines;./REPORTING_NAME?><?if:position()>=$start and position()<$start+$lpp?>
    <?REPORTING_NAME?>
    <?end if?><?end for-each-group?>
    Earning Group -
    <?for-each-group:$EarLines;./REPORTING_NAME?><?if:position()>=$start1 and position()<$start1+$lpp1?>
    <?REPORTING_NAME?>
    <?end if?><?end for-each-group?>
    Tax Group -
    <?for-each-group:$EarTaxLines;./REPORTING_NAME?><?if:position()>=$start2 and position()<$start2+$lpp2?>
    <?REPORTING_NAME?>
    <?end if?><?end for-each-group?>
    Please let me know in case additional detail is require.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks,
    Harsh

    variable lpp2 is declare to restrict EarTaxLines -
    <xsl:variable name="lpp2" select="number(2)"/>
    This will help to restrict the no of rows on one page , if we have more then two tax benefits line then layout will roll over to continuation page.
    As part of report output my expectation is if i restrict Earning , Deduction and Tax benefits to same no of line for example - variable lpp ,lpp1 and lpp2 have same value "number(2)" , we can see the layout is continue on next page (restrict every group can have max two lines) .This is the reason we have 4 header grid , deduction and Tax Benefit lines are rolled over to continuation page .But if we restrict different value for each variable then continuation page layout is missing .
    When we tried for <xsl:variable name="lpp2" select="number(3)"/> value continuation page layout is not getting generate for both employee number .

  • Grouping in rtf template like oracle reports - a newbie question

    Hello all
    I am new to BI Publisher and have probablly a silly question to ask.
    I have a basic query that returns a flat xml file which looks something like this. it will have multiple rows.
    <ROWSET>
    <ROW num="1">
    <DATE>01-DEC-2007</DATE>
    <PACKAGE>XXX </PACKAGE>
    <DROP_OFF>Hotel1</DROP_OFF>
    <ROOM>1</ROOM>
    <NAME>Test Customer</NAME>
    <PROBLEM_RECORDED>N</PROBLEM_RECORDED>
    <EXCEPTION>1</EXCEPTION>
    </ROW>
    </ROWSET>
    Because i am fairly new to xml i am at a loss trying to work out how i can form a template that will effectively allow grouping at say
    1. Date Level
    2. Package Level
    3.Drop Off level
    4. put all other data in here
    In reports i would just do groups and alter the layout accordingly. Obviously if i had an oracle report version of the sql that generates the xml then i could just generate the xml from the report and i would get the xml i am looking for .
    But I am working with basic sql not reports and am wondering What do I have to do with my xml to get it looking live the grouping I mention above, given all i have to play with is the example xml I included. I am really bamboozled and think i am missing something simple.
    I dont want to have to write multiple queries with different groupings using cast , multiset as I thought one of the benefits of BI Publisher was one query multiple layouts.
    Thanks
    Lisa

    If you haev word plugin installed,
    please follow the documentation and try using that,
    load the xml in the word plugin
    and then select insert table/form and then you can do the drag and drop,
    and group by each fields.

  • How to Create a Parameterized Report - The select "- ALL-" for department and manager not working.

    I downloaded the OEHR Sample Objects application and followed the steps in Oracle® Application Express Advanced Tutorials
    Release 3.2.
    The parameters and report seem to be working correctly except when I enter "all" for department or manager I get no matching hits.
    What's the most efficient way to retrieve "all" if the users selects all for dept and mgr - thus we'd want to return all records in the table.

  • Deductions Report performance issue

    Has anyone encountered performance problems lately with the Deductions Report?
    We have a custom report that is a modified version of the seeded report, and we cannot run the report to completion since our last round of patching. Patches applied are listed below, and include YE Phase 2.
    We have not yet opened a TAR on this, because we'll need to gather some information internally first.
    Thanks,
    Carrie

    We've hit the performance bug and logged an SR. We ran the shipped report and it chugged for 2 1/2 days then blew up on snapshot too old. If you can avoid that error then it fails with ORA-01722: invalid number. I defragged and analyzed the Payroll tables and indexes but it's not enough to help the bad code. I think part of the issue is that the report code just uses a generic /*+ RULE */ hint. Another part of the issue may be that NULLs in the payroll tables aren't properly accounted for in the code.
    The behavior of the 'RULE' hint seems to be dependent on what the Paryoll LOW_VOLUME parameter is set to. That is, with LOW_VOLUME=Y and small tables the 'RULE' hint might be fine, but in the real World with with LOW_VOLUME=YouGottaBeKidding it doesn't.
    The new Payroll Activity Report for the whole year has very good performance--it only took 4 hours in our environment--and it used to take days.
    Open an SR and ask to be attached to Bug 5742521.

  • Error when trying to run an FSG Report via XML Publisher...

    hello.
    Hope someone can help.
    This is our first look into the benefits of XML Publisher in order convince Manager to start using it. Thing is, we really need to get both FSG reports and Dunning Letters working.
    We've currently got XML Publisher 5.0.0 and BI Publisher Template Builder for Word v10.1.3.2.0
    First up, FSG reports. Having followed this link here:
    http://solutionbeacon.blogspot.com/2007/07/simple-tutorial-for-publishing-fsg.html
    Ive managed to create a template based upon the basic FSG template supplied. I’ve follwed easy steps but on submitting the request against ANY [its what the notes said] FSG report the error messages from both the log and output files are given.. Those being..
    Output file displayed the most productive error message:
    DECLARE
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-06550: line 133, column 8:
    PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'SUBMIT_XML_REQUEST'
    ORA-06550: line 133, column 5:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    Can anyone help please? Or perhaps suggest an alternative to running FSG reports through XML Publisher.
    Other thought was, do I need any different versions and/or Publisher Enterprise installing?
    Many thanks for reading this..
    Steven

    ..having tried an alternative presentation I got a singular FSG report to generate in PDF via XML Publisher..
