What are the best accessories to buy for an iphone?

I bought an iPhone this xmas, and i'm curious which are the better or best accessories one should buy?
I'm thinking of another usb cord, so i can leave the dock on my computer and just bring the outlet plug and usb cord on when i'm mobile.
But then i was thinking maybe just buy the Iphone bluetooth headset as it comes with the cord, and a new doc, as well as the bluetooth.
I think it almost makes more sense to buy it since the usb cord by itself is a ridiculous $20.
I already have my iphone covered with a bodyguardz skin (on the back) and a crystal film on the front for protection.

I keep thinking that i wont drop the iphone, but i'm sure i will and some form of a case would probably be a smart idea. I just dread the idea of a case on the phone

The right tv for the mini + the best accessories

I am a PC user considering a switch to mac and this is my first post on these forums, I hope my question is not too redundant.
I would like to begin my mac experience with a mini hooked to a big-screen TV on my living room mainly for home-theater purposes. Space and budget constraints mean my best choice for a TV is a 32" 720p LCD. Browsing through these forums I see many people having problems getting their TVs to display their content properly. My question is therefore, what do I have to consider when buying a TV for it to work with the mac mini so as to avoid this kind of problems?
My second question is in regard to the extras I should buy. Top of the list I would say are a DVI-HDMI cable, a 500GB minimax hard drive to add space for my media, and Elgato's Hybrid EyeTV (or Diversity?) to make the mini a video-recorder. Any other indispensable or alternative accessories you believe I should add to the list?

I would try and carry out some careful research on the TV to insure computer compatibility. There are a few ways to do this. One would be you use internet forums like this one and the AVS Forum to try and see what people are saying about specific TVs you are considering. Another thing would be to try and find a link to the user guide on-line for any TV you are considering. You can often tell from a user guide how PC friendly a TV is or not. Of course you have to know what to look for in the user manual, so that can be confusing and difficult. And perhaps the best way is just to try the TV, meaning working with a retailer that will either let you bring a mini to the store to hook up to TVs you are looking at, or let you take TVs home and return them if you are not happy with them.
One other accessory I find indispensable in my setup is a good universal remote. I have a Logitech Harmony remote and could not live without it. But my set up involves a lot more than just a mini connected to a TV, so YMMV. Good luck in your search.

What are the best MB Pro 13" accesories to go out and buy?

When did you buy it?
Do you run it down to near zero % before recharging? Which is a bad thing to do.
Do you charge it to 100% before you take it off the charger?
Do you always disconnect the charger once it reaches 100% even if you are right next to an AC outlet. Which is a bad idea.
Batteries only last so long. Over use it and it will go bad sooner.

Best accessories for uMBP -- Cleaning and Protecting

Hey guys,
Just wondering what you guys use to clean your uMBP -- I've been using iKlear with the cloth they give us and I have no problem with that. Is there anything else that you guys use to clean the keys and casing? I only use the iKlear to clean the screen.
Do you guys recommend keyboard protectors? I was looking at the Radtech Screensavrz and wondering if they were worth it -- I don't want the keyboard scuffing up my screen!! Will the laptop close fine with that keyboard guard in there?
I also have an incase neoprene sleeve which I like (I've had it for 3 years from when I got my '06 MBP...but I'm not too fond of the zippers because they can easily scratch the casing when opening and closing it. Anybody found any cases that protect against this? I want something small -- not really in the market for a case with handles or extra pockets -- just something small that can easily fit into a backpack. Any suggestions on your favorite cases?
Basically I just want to keep my uMBP in the best shape possible. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!

I'm glad you posted this comment solsun but it raises a basic question - *Why does Apple sell the Moshi (and other) keyboard cover(s) as a MBP accessory through the Online (and I believe Retail) Apple Store?*
Who knows? I'm not sure that Apple endorses everything they sell by third parties . If they did, why would they sell certain cases that scratch and leave marks on their products, or why would they sell notebook locks that damage the MBP frame?
I'm not going to argue with someone who says that they haven't had any problems with the Moshi cover, but I do know that the space under the keys are definitely part of the MBP's cooling system. And the quote above about never covering the keyboard during operation is not something I made up, it is copied verbatim, directly from the MBP user manual..

Best accessories for an Ipad?

now that I have an iPad I am looking at acessories and 'goodies' for my new treasure. I do have a smart cover that does work, and a Targus bag that already sports my name but am looking at screen protectors and skins, stands and so forth. I would love to see suggestions from iPad owners as to what accessories they have and if they felt it was a good investment or a poor buy. So, anyone have suggestions for a new owner as to what should be on that 'buying list'.

Sounds to me like you don't really lack anything so you could add to your music and video collection, or you could put it your 30 pounds in money market or what have you, wait for it to compound in value than have money to by the next version of the latest and greatest apple iPod or ipad5 (the life force) which no doubt you will be drooling and venting for when we come down the road to it.

Anyone have issues if using imac g4 w/ usb 1.1??

hey all. okay so my wife got an i phone for xmas. We haven't activated yet waiting to get a sim card with her old # to merge into her new at & t account from sprint. anyways Im concerned that my imac g4 will give me issues because it has usb 1.1 not 2.0 anyone experience anything yet if you have an older mac using usb 1.1. I use my itouch with no problems. please reply ASAP.

Not really. The computer you are using, a G4, is 3 processor generations old at this point. This puts it about 5 years old (my numbers may be off a bit). You can't expect technology that is 5+ years old to work with new technology - especially when that technology is computers.
If you want the newest and best accessories you have to accept that you'll need the newest and best computer. Nature of the beast.

Icontrol for home studio set-up?

I'm getting a home studio set-up. Im a novice, need some advice on the best accessories to get. Im trying to keep costs down and buy the minimum hardware required.
I have the following:
1. Imac G5
2. Midi synth (not USB)
3. Microphone (not usb)
4. Guitar
Guitar and vocals wont be my focus. Will icontrol work for the keys and vocals? How would I record the guitar? Should I buy another USB interface from m-audio instead of icontrol?

I tried to connect my mic into the Tascam US-122 and it doesn't seem to be working.
1. installed the drivers, I have the input listed as Tascam in sound preferences and in garageband preferences. I have the output as speakers so I can hear, correct?
2. when I plug the mic directly into the line in jack on the imac and switch the preferences to line in it records on basic track.
3. I have the Tascam connected by USB only. Should I also have a cord connected from the line out jack into the line in jack on the back of the imac? I thought it would connect via USB only?
4. When I use my midi keyboard with the Tascam it records fine as a software instrument. So I guess the issue is recording real instruments using the Tascam and not direct line in.

There are no "WiFi boost" devices out there. Try tapping Settings > WiFi and see if the touch detects any networks nearby. You are looking for "Open" networks (the lock symbol is open) and normally the strongest signal is first on the list. Tap that to log in.
Many free networks require that you accept their terms before they grant you full access. Log in and wait to see if an additional page is displayed that allows you to complete that. They you can enjoy your WiFi.

Cases are the best, a ipad is not a car so you cant easily see accessories and bodykits, get her a case, but unusual one, i expect shel'll throw her old case, get her iBallz protector or get her " the otterbox defender" case, google them and see how great and creatice are they, both are protective and amazingly-designed.
Plus , get her gift cards to buy apps..
