Billing Date=Document Date

Dear gurus,
I want SAP to take document date(VBAK-AUDAT), in VF01 screen.
How can ı accomplish it?
Kind Regards,

You have not mentioned whether it is order related or delivery related billing process. In either case, you can try to use the user exit FORM USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP in include RV60AFZC.
Regards,
I am not able to respond to your last posting, for some reason browser kept on running but not posting. Here is my response;
In my opinion, you can't use this routine to change the billing date field as this routine is assigned at billing document item. As I mentioned in my earlier posting, you have not mentioned whether it is order related billing or delivery related billing process. Note that a billing document can be created by combining different sales order items or items of different delivery document. When you say just copy sales document date, then you must tell from which sales order this should get copied. Just by changing the codes, without analyzing the requirements properly, will not resolve the issue.
This is the reason, some members propose to use the user-exit instead of copy control settings.

  • F-03: Need foreign curr translation date = document date, not posting date

    Hi All,
We need to clear accounts through F-03. If we use a foreign currency (local curreny is PLN), the translation date is set as posting date/clearing date: SAP default behaviour. However, we want the translation date to be document date.
We cannot change the clearing date in F-03 to document date because, if the document date is in previous period, the posting periods will be closed.
Can this be accomplised through any standard functionality in T-Code (F-03, F-44)? I couldn't find any.
Or do we need substitution/user exit for this?
    Thanks for your time!

Note 574583 - MIRO: BADI for value date
    Summary
    Symptom
In the logistics invoice verification, the system derives the value date (WWERT) from the posting date (BUDAT).However, the derivation should occur from the document date (BLDAT) or the posting date depending on the country key of the company code.

  • No GR on Back date (Document Date)

    Hi All,
We normally use Tx: MB01 and MB0A for Goods Reciept.
Now we have a requirement not to allow GR on back date (i.e. Document date in GR screen should not be back dated) but it should be allowed in Goods Issue (MB1A).
I have tried by using the screen control for Goods movement; I made the field 'Document date' in display mode but it is getting in display mode in all Tx: MB01,MB0A & MB1A,MB1C.
How to achieve this "Not to allow GR on back date only in GR transactions"
any possibility of Message control / Screen variants / any other thing ??
    Please suggest.
    kind regards,
    kumar

    Hi,
You should be able to control this on posting periods unless you do not generally open back dated periods (Not recommended in normal practise).
You could try putting the latest possible GR date in purchase order as the cut off date you want to post the document. System will not allow you to post document in case date is previous to the date maintained in this field.

  • Posting date,defferal date,document date

    Gurus,
Please explain the difference of posting data and document date?
How due date of a document is calculated..?
when we are going to use the defferal date is used?
    Regards,
    Ramesh

    Ramesh,
Please explain the difference of posting data and document date?
Posting date is the date on which you want the document to be posted.
Document date is the date on which you usually enter the document.
How due date of a document is calculated..?
    From Payment Terms
when we are going to use the defferal date is used?
If you want Due date to be differed , you use deferral date. This overwrites the due date
    Hope this helps

  • Wanted brief idea about posting date, document date, entry date

    Hi guyz!
basically am an tech consultant. But wanted to have brief idea about the following business process. scenario is like this:
in inventory management, we are doing some inter facility transfer. i.e., for a particular plant, we are having multiple storage locations. so due tosome reasons, we are transfering stock from one storage location to another storage location. so in this context can anybody say what are the followings:
    1. posting date
    2. document date
    3. entry date
    waiting for proper response.
    manas

    Hi Manas,
The Document Date is the date in which the business transaction for the Documente(e.g., a transfer of posting) took place. The document date is the date on which the original document was issued.
The document date can, for example, refer to the creation date of the delivery note issued by the vendor or the internal goods receipt slip.
The Posting Date determines the posting period and defines in which fiscal period a document will post (regardless of the Document or Entry date). It is the date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling. The periods that are permitted for posting are determined by Accounting Services. This is the date that G/L Account Balances are updated.
The fiscal year and the period for which an update of the accounts specified in the document or cost elements is made, are derived from the posting date. The Posting Date will override the Fiscal Period entered on a document if they are different.
When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
The posting date can differ from both the entry date (day of entry into the system) and the document date (day of creation of the original document).
The Entry Date is the date the transaction was actually "permanently entered" into R/3.
Note: It is possible that an invoice was issued with a Document Date of 6/15/98, entered into R/3 on 7/15/98 (Entry Date) with a Posting Date of 6/30/98 (to post the Document in the previous fiscal year). Many times, all three of these dates are the same.
    Thanks,
    Susmitha.

  • Default key date, Document date and posting date needs to be changed automa

    Hi Experts,
The user wants to create a variant for Foreign currency valuation, wherein the default key date, Doc date and Posting date needs to be changed every month automatically. Is it possible?
Please let me know your thoughts.
    Warm regards,
    Murukan Arunachalam

    Hi
    Please follow this process.
Only specify fields that should be changed
Select these fields by entering an X in the checkboxes
Enter a U in the UPDATEFLAG field
Always specify key fields when changing the data, including in the checkboxes
The configuration is an exception here. If this needs to be changed, you need to complete it again fully.
Maintain quantities and dates in the schedule line data.
    1. Minimum entry:
You must enter the order number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields for changes.
You must always specify the update indicator in the ORDER_HEADER_INX.
    2. Commit control:
The BAPI does not run a database Commit, which means that the application must trigger the Commit so that the changes are read to the database. To do this, use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT BAPI.

  • Billing created on date as the baseline date in FBL5N

    Hello All,
We have a requirement where the baseline date in FBL5N (BSEG-ZFBDT) should be the Billing document created ( VBRK-ERDAT) and not the accounting document created on date.
I tried changing the Payment terms to "Document date" but it does not work either. The fields in the payment terms for base line date ( Document date, posting date, entry date ) refer to the accounting document and not the Billing document.
Please let me know how to go about this.
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi,
I face similar problem but not involving TRM.
I've payment term set-up in OBB8 and stating default baseline date = document date.
But in FBL5N system is always retrieving posting date as baseline date. Is there any other setting prevailing over payment term definition?

  • Baseline Date as the Document Date

    Hi,
I have a query on Payment Terms which we maintain in the Posting Parameters->Postings Tab page in RE-FX Lease Out Contract.
I maintain a payment term for 10 days in the RE-FX Contract.
I have maintained a Condition which is due on 1st of every month with a monthly frequency.
When i simulate the contract for planned Cash Flow, it shows me the conditions which are due to be posted on 1st of every month. Now, here is a scenario wherein I am unable to post the conditions through Periodic Posting (RERAPP) on 1st and i eventually carry out the Posting on 16th of that month. Hence I maintain Document Date and Posting date in the T Code RERAPP (Periodic Posting) as 16th of that month.
Now when i open the Customer Line Items in FBL5N, i find that the Document Date and Posting date to be 16th whereas the Baseline date to be 1st of that month. This makes the calculation of Due Date totally wrong since the system takes 1st of that month as Baseline Date and adds Payment Term days (10 days) to it and shows 11th of that month as the Net due date (which instead should have been 26th of that month.
I tried changing the definition of Baseline Date in the Payment Terms definition to Document Date but it still did not bring the desired effect.

    Hi,
I don't have $38.10.number in my query. Where did you get this field?
    please follow below steps:
    1. Run above query in generator. Sure it gives an error message and ignore this message.
    2. save it under query manager
    3. Assign this FMS at AP invoice posting date and set auto refresh when customer vendor refer is changed.

  • BADI exchange rate according to document date instead of posting date

    Hello,
I am looking for a BADI that will enable us to change the exchange rate according to document date instead of posting date.
This change is needed for documents of travel expenses.
I tried to use substitution but it didn't work for documents created in Tcode PRRW.
    Thank you,
    Dan

    Friend,
Try to use Field exit functionality.
You can create field exit for Translation date(WWERT). While currency converstion this date only taken as base.
Technically you can pass Doc.Date(BLDAT) value to Translation date.
Or in Substituton(GGB1) also for the header "Transaltion date = Docu.Date".
I hope it serves your purpose.

  • SAP DMS -  Material master - Document Data

    Hi,
When I access the Document Data Tab (through mm03 - Additional Data - Document Data)
the table shows only 2 lines witch refer to a DIR.
Is there a note that makes it possible to see for example 10 lines?
Are there any customizing settings to change this?
    Kind regards,
    Sebastiaan.

    Hey Christoph,
I know that I can add more documents using mm02.
I just want make the 'table' (witch displays the linked documents ) bigger, this to get a better overview of all linked documents.
At this point I can only see 2 linked DIR at once, witch it not very practical.
    Kind regards,
    Sebastiaan.

  • SRM PO Document date is getting replicated to ECC as Delivery date

    Hello SRM experts,
Please guide me on the following issue. We are using extended classic scenario. SRM 7.0
Delivery date is not getting reflected in the ECC delivery date field.
To know whether this is an standard issue ?
Is there any way out to make proper replication to ECC ?
What might be the reason for this ?
SRM PO created with Delivery date "08/07/2014".
But current date(Document date) "01/07/2014" is picked in delivery date
Delivery date is getting reflected in the Statistical delivery date field under Item details --> Delivery schedule tab

When you create a PO , delivery date is calculated by adding planned delivery time from Purchase info record.
The delivery date calculated thus, is defaulted into the PO for del date and st del date.
If you change the delivery date thus defaulted, without making a manual entry in st del date, the date you entered will default to st del date too,
This change will not happen, if you make a manual entry in the st del date field before you change the del date in the po or you output the PO and then change the del date in the PO.
In case you want to change the delivery date in ECC this exit can help :EXIT_SAPMM06E_012

  • Billing document date and accounting document date varying...

    Hello Experts,
There is one billing document and the date of invoice is, say today, 12/01/2009. and the accounting document date is, say 15 days ahead or behind, 27/01/2009.however, the posting date is proper and according to the billing date and that is again dated today-12/01/209. Now, the user wants to know why the difference exists between the accounting document date and the billing date. any idea? there are some user exits being used but I cant make out, neither the abaper. suggestions please.
    Regards,
    N.Raja Sekhar.

    Dear Raja Sekhar
Document date is nothing but the date on which that particular transaction has taken place.  But I dont know where you get the date as 27-01-2009.
It is a general practice that for exports billing document, there would be a Posting block and once the exporter receives the B/L, based on that date, the billing document would be released manually.  For this, there is an user exit to input the B/L number and date and release the billing document.
So here, what the end users normally does is that the B/L Date might be on 02-01-2009 but he would not have updated on the same date.  At a later date, say on 12-01-2009, he can input the B/L Date (in another words, it is Posting date) as 02-01-09 and execute the billing document.
If you see the accounting document here, the posting date would have been 02-01-2009 but the document date would be 12-01-09.
    thanks
