BIP & trying to auto-set the current date for a parameter

I'm trying to allow for a date selector as a parameter for one of my reports. This is BIP 11.1.1.5.
I've set up a field for the parameter and can pass it into the report but want to see if I can auto-fill this field with today's date, and then set the Date From to today and the Date To to 3 days from now. Is this possible? Is there a way to do something like "format-date:sysdate('MM/dd/YYYY');" in these fields? I've attached an image of my fields in my Data Model.

Thank You! I came across this before but never saw you have to use the {$ to get to the value.
{$SYSDATE()$} gets me today's date.
So can I use these in the BIP's Query Builder or other areas where I want to populate fields?
Example: I want to use it in the actual report's parameters but it just comes across as "{$SYSDATE()$}"

OWL with Default Set containting Current Date as query parameter

Hello Everybody,
I have a custom BO which mainly consists of a name and a time period (start and end date).
Now I'd like to create a Default set like
"Give me all objects with today between start and end date."
I already tried the following:
Filling a field using UI-Scripting:
$data.UIState.Today = $controller.DateTimeUtils.DateNow;
Copy the field into the search parameter
executing the query with this search parameter.
However, I using this approach, I only managed to search for objects matching exactly todays date, but not using greater/lower comparators.
Furthermore I also searched for a field transformation giving me the current date but did not succeed.
Does anyone have any ideas how to achieve this or how to get one of the above ideas to work?

Hello Ludger,
That`s what I expected: The fields do not define the interval.
Therefore you need to define it by yourself via this "less or equal".
What you can do in the UI Designer at the query definition is to provide an interval
For the field "CurrentDate" provide
- SelectOption = "between"
- Low Value = your start date
- High Value = your end date
- Select Option = "include"

How to set the Expiration Date for a task which is been assigned explictly.

When I assign a task to myself and not work on it for couple of weeks the task is getting released automatically into the original unassigned pool. The TaskActionHandler WSDL is causing that to happen. I don't want a task to be automatically released into the pool when I don't work on it for couple of weeks, how can I make that happen? TaskActionHandler is something which comes with the BPEL so I can't change the way how it behaves. Do I need to set the expiration date or duration explicitly when a task is created?then how do I do that?
If anybody could let me know how to make TaskActionHandler not to release a dehydrated task, I would be glad.

Hi,
Make AUTO RELEASE a restricted action for the task by adding the following line:
<restrictedAction>AUTO RELEASE</restrictedAction>
to the <restrictedActions> tag in the task configuration file.
Works effectively.
Alternatively, you can specifiy the auto release durations on a per task priority basis. There is more on that in the BPEL Dev Guide.

Something wrong in setting the cellular data for programs

Since I update to iOS 7.0.4, the problem came out.
There is something wrong in the settings. For example, I turned off the cellular data for Stocks. Then, when I came in again, the button is on. Other apps have the same problem. Only a few don't.
I tried to restore the setting for the network, but the problem still there. I tried to restore all the settings, and it doesn't work.
Finally, I restored my hardware, and restored my backup. It still don't work....
Ps: There is only one profile in my phone, which is from Onavo. Does it matter?
Is there anyone the same? Hoping for your help....THANKS..

Yesterday, I tried to backup my messages and photos and apps using the iTools, and I wiped all my settings and memory. Then, it worked !!

Af:inputDate - No provision to set the set the current date in the popup

On clicking the icon of the af:inputDate, the pop up is opened with the current month/date/year as the highlighted item. There should be provision to set which date/month/year should be shown as highlighted.

We are trying to implement type 2 dimensions for all the master data bearing characteristics, where we require historic and current data available for reporting. the master data can have a number of attributes and all of them can be time dependent. We are not getting any 'datefrom' or 'dateto' from the source system.
For example:
For Example: The table below shows data entering BI at different dates.
Source Data day of entering BI
MasterID ATTR1 ATTR2
123506 Y REWAR day1
123506 N REWAR day4
123506 Y ADJUST day4
123506 N ADJUST dayn
The field 'day of entry into BI' is only for your understanding; we do not get any date fields from the source. SID is the field we are generating for uniqueness. It is a counter. EFF_DATE would be the current date for all the data. EXP_DATE would be 31.12.9999 until the attributes change. SID and MasterID together would be the key.
On day 1 the following data enters BI,
day 1
SID MasterID ATTR1 ATTR2 EFF_DATE EXP_DATE
1 123506 Y REWAR 2/10/2009 12/31/9999
On day 4, 2 data records enter with same PID,
SID MasterID ATTR1 ATTR2 EFF_DATE EXP_DATE

the EXP_DATE of the record of day 1 needs to be changed to current date.

Compound the Master ID with eff date and other attribute as superior objects
so you will get P-table as

You can set default value to custom field thru Lookup table. Assign lookup table to custom field and set default value to some lookup value (Note: check the “Choose a value to use as a default when adding new item” checkbox).

How do you set the date & prevent auto revert to current date?

Numbers 3.2. Macbook OS 10.9.3
I want to set a block of cells to a particular date (05/10/14) and then add in different times. But everytime I make a change to the default time (12:00 AM) in a specific cell, the date I initially set reverts back to the current date (05/29/14).
How can I prevent or work around this annoying date change issue? Thank you for any helpful tips you can provide.

I'd create separate columns for date and time input (formatted as text) and calculate date-time value in the third column. Something like this.

Apple never included the auto-update feature for dates in Pages v5.2.2. You would have to single-click the date, and deliberately update it.
If you have Pages ’09 v4.3 in /Applications/iWork '09, then it will allow you to configure auto-update of the date field. Right-click on the date, set the format, and click the selection for automatically update on open.

How do I use AppleScript to Change the Creation Date to the Current Date?

I sorted my downloads folder by creation date and found that the items were sorted seemingly randomly. On closer inspection, I saw that the creation dates were not the same as the dates that I downloaded the items, so I figures that Snow Leopard was using the date given to it by the server.
In order to get the items sorted by download date, I figured I'd use Hazel, but it doesn't have a “change creation date” item. It does, however, have an “run AppleScript” item.
So my question is this: how do I use AppleScript to change the creation date of an item to the current date?
