We are planning to migrate from BizTalk 2009 to BizTalk Services.
Could you please answer the following questions regarding pricing:
1. Hybrid Connection Data Transfer (GB) per Unit is 250GB for standard BizTalk Unit. Is this limit (250GB) per day or month?
2. Is ACS Namespace chargeable? If yes, where can I find the details of pricing.?
3. Do we need to pay additional charges for Service Bus Relays for using BizTalk adapter services?
4. BizTalk Adapter Service connections to on-premise LOB systems is 5 connections for Standard edition. Is this five different endpoints or five concurrent connections?
5. How easy to migrate between editions? E.g.: If we start with 2 standard editions and later decide to use premium edition,How easy will be the migration?
6. How to calculate the tracking DB size, can we take existing BizTalk server 2009 tacking DB size as a guideline or tracking in BizTalk service is completely different from BizTalk Server 2009.
7. Is there any code sample or demo for how to connect from BizTalk services to On premise web services ?

Thanks Shailesh. Service was SOAP service which was using .Net component and replacing SOAP service to WCF Service resolved the issue. I think this is compatibility issue of MABS with SOAP services.

Is the license in reference to issuing one license per streaming session per unique user ?
If the user watches multiple contents/assets is a license required for each asset ? Is only one license required per piece of contents ? Or multiple licenses during viewing ?
When using key-rotation for live services, does that impact the number of licenses required ?
Are there any conditions for using Azure Encoding & Processing services in order to attain the Content Protection price? (for example certain amount of minimum usage of encoding?
Are there any conditions for using Azure Streaming services in order to attain the Content Protection price ? (for example certain amount of minimum streaming usage?)
Is the PAY pricing plan for Content Protection relevant to content encoded as HLS and encrypted with Playready ?
Is the separate Playready DRM licensing costs ($0.35/ client and $0.02/quarter per active client) still relevant for Silverlight players when using Azure Content Protection services ?

For the other questions, the link you put me through to is for support options for Azure. I am being asked to clarify these questions by my customer who is considering using Azure Media Services but is not currently subscribing and I don't have an existing
support account. My customer does have an Enterprise Agreement.
If you are not able to answer the questions above, would it be possible to receive an email address for where I can direct these questions about Azure Media Services pricing structure and billing ? (this is for evaluation purposes before becoming a
subscriber/user)

External Service Mangement Service Pricing Procedure not picking up in PO

Hi ,
We have an issue with External Services pricing procedure:
In SPRO->MM->External services Management->Maintain Conditions for Service
Have defined and assigned Schema for Services , but when I make a PO entry the pricing procedure is not picked.
I have maintined condition types , and defined schema procedure for services and there after have assigned service pricing procedure to document type for PO.
I get a message 'Conditions for service price determination incomplete'. And the conditions which are populated are from a different pricing procedure.
Please help me sort the issue.

Hi,
This error triggers in case of own pricing procedure or changes to standard pricing procedure. Other reasons could be the price calculation schema is not set up for External Services Management or calculation schema not adopted from client 0 when system configured. Delete operation for SQL using Biztalk Service

I have scenario like this "I am trying to insert the record to Multiple Tables in
SQL. When i got the exception in during the insert of the second table, i want to delete the inserted record from first table. this task achieve from Biztalk service"

In previous thread, you mentioned that you are using composite operation.
Data cannot be shared or reused across different operations in a composite operation.
So, above is not possible with composite operation.

But when I'm creating Service PO with respect to Service Master, system is throwing this error

I've created my own Service PO document type.
In normal document type, system is picking the Standard Service conditions.But when i'm putting my document type to create Service PO,I'm getting the error.

Dear Gurus,
As per my client requirements, I've defined the conditions types from coping the standard Conditions.
I've configured the schema coping from MS0000
In Variable Calculation Schema for Services i've maintained service document type with service pricing schema.
Then I created a service master and create service PO. In item detail I put the service master no.
Here system is throwing the error as below;
Conditions for service price determination incomplete
Message no. SE477
Diagnosis
Either the calculation schema for services does not exist or the condition types have not been defined correctly.
Procedure
Please check your Customizing settings for service conditions.
If you have not yet defined any conditions for services, you can adopt the standard SAP settings from client 0.
Which steps I've skip or any other configuration is required.

Hi,
Even if you set up your own calculation schema, it is advisable
to first adopt the SAP standard setting from client 0 and then
change this schema in accordance with your requirements.
Select transaction: Schema for services
Copy procedures MS0000 and MS0001 from client 0.
Then select the two procedures and perform the "Control"
function.
On the following overview screen you copy all levels from client
0.
You do this for procedure MS0000 and procedure MS0001.
If price determination problems still occur with regard to services even
after you have adopted the schema, check whether the exclusion indicator
has been set for condition type PRS.
In Customizing, you do this via the following menu path:
-> Materials Management -> Service
-> Maintain Conditions for Services
-> Conditions: Condition types
-> Double-click on condition type PRS
If this exclusion indicator has not been set, fill this field with an
"X".
If the system does not allow this value, you must first maintain it
using Transaction SM30.
After starting transaction SM30, enter the value "V_T686A" in the field
"table/view" and press the function "Maintain".
Enter the value "MS" in the field "Application" in the dialog box "Work
area".
On the overview screen which is displayed, you can again perform the
function "Comparison with client 0" in the menu "Utilities".
When you have done this, the system should allow the value "X" in the
field "Exclusion indicator" of condition type PRS.
Copy the condition types from client 0.

Error when calling Get-AzureBiztalkService from Windows Azure BizTalk Services Management Sample

I've downloaded and built the Windows Azure BizTalk Services Management Sample from

I've imported the module into PowerShell and have run the following script successfully

I got the same error :

this was caused by the Brodcasting funtionality, the process chain for brodcasting was giving this error each time it was launched !!
resolved on my side by changing the Jco connection : WD_ALV_METADATA_DEST to use user/password authentification instead of Logon Tickets !!!!

BizTalk vs azure biztalk services

Good Day.
I am working on BT2013 R2 applications. Now started to look in to azure BT Services. I understand its kind of cloud services with (IAAS/PAAS). I google it and found some thing.
Is there any good material for getting knowledge of azure service bus and what is the difference between BT 2013 & azure service bus (BT Service ).

I go through the URLs and below high level of understanding.
- All the capabilities of BizTalk Services are integrated into App Service as API Apps enabling users to perform enterprise application integration and B2B integration scenarios with any of the app types in App Service
- With Logic Apps you can now automate business processes using a visual design experience to create workflows
so the combination of API & Logic Apps we can enable the integration in cloud.
Basically I am just doing some case study of how to move BT2013 R2 App to BT Services. I Hope the URL would be the good starting point to get understand the concepts of Azure Services

Could not start Biztalk Service Biztalk Group: Error 1053 , In Biztalk Server 2010 environment

Did you install something? Some update? To OS, to SQL Server, to BizTalk?
Did you deploy some BizTalk artifacts?
If so, try to undo this software.

I am trying connect to the BizTalk Adapter Service from My VS2012.
I am sure connect information are correct with ACS Nnamespace/Issue name/Issue Secert
But got some errors

These accounts needs to be created in your Active Directory server.
I would suggest you to have a look of

WS Binding: exception durign SOAP invocation: java.util.NoSuchElementException
Looks like the error is in the data sent to or expected from the service in your composite. Check that audit logs and composite flow to make sure your soap message when using soapui matches what you are working with in soa suite.

Hi Sekhar,
As per my understanding you just have to create a simple pricing procedure for services with Price, PF & ESI payable (if any) & also the Non-deductible tax condition types in your MM side.
Now regarding the service tax as per the Tax Procedure you are using (INJ or INN) you have to create a Service tax code in FTXP & maintain the rates in FV11 accordingly.
Maintain the GL accounts for the tax condition types Account Keys in OB40.
Enter the same Tax code while you create a PO.
