  • XML Publisher Report Output from OAF Page

    Hi,
    I created a button in a OAF page, and called the XML publisher Report program on click of this button. The concurrent request was ran when check from View Requests. When I click on viewout, the pdf document was open with the option, open, save, cancel. But this is not coming up in the OAF page. when debugged the code, the url is null.
    Please see the below code.
    OADBTransactionImpl oadbtransactionimpl = (OADBTransactionImpl)paramOAPageContext.getRootApplicationModule().getOADBTransaction();
    String s1 = oadbtransactionimpl.getAppsContext().getEnvStore().getEnv("TWO_TASK");
    System.out.println("s1 = " + s1);
    String s2 = oadbtransactionimpl.getAppsContext().getEnvStore().getEnv("GWYUID");
    System.out.println("s2 = " + s2);
    String s3 = "BEGIN :1 := fnd_webfile.get_url(fnd_webfile.request_out, :2, :3, :4, 2); end;";
    CallableStatement callablestatement = paramOAPageContext.getApplicationModule(paramOAWebBean).getOADBTransaction().createCallableStatement(s3, 1);
    System.out.println("s3 = " + s3);
    if(requestId != 0)
    try
    Number number = new Number(requestId);
    callablestatement.registerOutParameter(1, 12);
    callablestatement.setInt(2, number.intValue());
    callablestatement.setString(3, s2);
    callablestatement.setString(4, s1);
    callablestatement.execute();
    String s4 = callablestatement.getString(1);
    System.out.println("Before S4 if statement");
    if(s4 == null || s4.equals(""))

    System.out.println("URL is null");
    System.out.println(" print ouput url - " + s4 );
    // throw OAException.wrapperException(exception);
    oadbtransactionimpl.putValue("OutputURL", s4);
    System.out.println(" print ouput url - " + s4 );

    Look at the links AJ gave.
    Basically what you will do is create a Data Definition and assign a Data Template to it. Create a (document) Template and assign it to your data definition. You will use the XML Publisher Java API classes to pass parameters to your data template and extract the XML data. Then you will use this in conjunction with your document template and the OAF integration region to present the final output to the user.
    All of these things are in the XML Publisher documentation and Javadocs.

  • Integrating XML Publisher into an OAF page

    Hello,
    I'm pretty to new to both OAF and XML Publisher...hoping someone can help me out. I created an OAF page that uses oracle.apps.xdo.oa.common.DocumentHelper to display a PDF. I created my Data Definition and Template, and tested that using concurrent manger.
    When I display my OAF page and click a button to view the PDF, the page does not show the PDF. However, when I click on the export button it opens a new window and I can view the PDF no problem.
    So I know the XML Publisher document is working, but why doesn't it display in the page?
    We are on 11.10.2 applications and 5.6.3 XML Publisher.
    Thanks,
    Johnnie

  • Is it possible to launch a form from an OAF page using OAF Personalization

    In R11, the Customer Standard form ARXCUDCI was customized to call a custom block from the Address screen. In R12 the customer standard form has become an OAF page. We have decided to create a custom form for the custom block using Oracle Developer. However we need a mechanism to call this custom form from the Customer Standard OAF page.
    My query is if it is possible to call a custom form from an OAF page using OAF personalization only (i.e. without directly customizing the code of the OAF page)
    Thanks
    Sanjay

    Dear Apurba,
    I have made some progress.
    I have open the Customers OAF Page, queried a customer, selected a site and opened it.
    Then chose Personalize "Account Site Address"
    There I added a Button on the Header Address level
    ID=XXTVL_LASSY_BUTTON
    Populated the Additional Text and Prompt properties.
    Also set Destination URI=form:SYSADMIN:SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR:STANDARD:FND_FNDMNMNU.
    The button is now showing in the address page, and when I click on it it opens the seeded Menu form.
    I now have to create the custom form and set Destination URI to the Custom Form.
    I am also aware how to add parameters to Destination URI.
    But could you let me know how to read the value from a OAF page form field and reference it in Destination URI.
    I need the value of PARTY_SITE_ID of the Address OAF page.
    Alternatively, the Site Number is displayed on the OAF page. If I can read it that will also do. I can use the Site Number in the custom form rather than PARTY_SITE_ID
    Thanks
    Sanjay

  • Is it possible to call OAF Page from ADF Page

    Our requirement as follows:
    In ADF page have the Order Number as hyper-link, if user click on hyper-link we have to pass Order_Id and open OAF page of Order Management in E-Business Suite. This OAF Page has has the corresponding Order Line for given Order_Id.
    If this is possible, how authentication/security works between ADF and OAF. Is the user which as logged into ADF will authenticate in OAF Page also ? How it works ??

  • Problem in XML Publisher Report submission from OAF Pages

    Hi,
    I am trying to submit Concurrent Program from OAF Page which is an XML Publisher Report.
    The request is Submitting and Completing successfully but when we open to view the out put we are able to view the HTML tags.
    We checked the same Concurrent program by submitting from the SRS window After completing if we click on view output the rtf file is getting opened correctly.
    I tested with normal rdf report it is working fine with standard Concurrent program used in OAF
    So my doubt is
    Does the Standard Concurrent program used in OAF supports the rtf reports.
    Please suggest if any modifications to be done in the Concurrent program

  • Call OAF page with post parameters

    Hi,
    From a custom OAF payment screen, on button click, I'm opening a third party website in the same window.
    Once payment is done, third party will send me conf num back as the background process (user is still in third party website).
    For this post back purpose, I have created a simple OAF page and given the OAF url to third party.
    https://xxx-dev:85/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?page=/xxx/oracle/apps/xx/webui/PostbackPG&confNum=
    However, third party refused to use this url as it is a html get. They send return values (conf num) only by html post as security measure.
    Is it possible to use OAF page to get post requests? If yes, please let me know how to call OAF page with a post and how to get values in PR of CO.
    Thanks

    Any ideas please!

    Hi,
    I have a requirement , wherein I should add a field to an existing OAF Page and when the user clicks on the field the oracle forms should open and after filling the details in the oracle form user will close the from and return to the OAF page.

    Please do help .

    Use this as an example.
    int orgId = pageContext.getOrgId();

  • Hide 'Home Logout Preferences....' links in a OAF page.

    Hi guys:
    I need to develop a customization as following: Add controlling logic on a standard OAF page's button before
    submit, if the data cannot pass the check logic, it will open a new window and show the failed data.
    now , I have customized a new OAF page to display the failed data , and personalized the controller class of the
    standard button to open the new OAF page in a new window. It works fine, but I want to hide the 'Home Logout
    Preferences....' links in the new OAF page.
    how to setup it? is there any profile can be used to hide the links? I know Diagnostics ,Personalize can be hidden
    by profiles.
