Bluetooth active on start

Hello,
I have a Nokia 9500i. Earlier i had a function on the phone that let me keep the bluetooth settings after the phone was rebooted. I could have bluetooth active when i started the phone. However my shell cracked and i got it replaced. When i got my phone back i changed to E90 and never really used the 9500i. Now i got rid of the E90 and start using the 9500i again but all of sudden i have to active the bluetooth manually every time i start the phone.
What can be wrong? I got the V 06.27(00) firmware. Iam not sure if this was updated when the shell got changed.

ok, so spoke to Nokia (moody support), who also suggested the problem may be with WIDCOMM stack, then also spoke to DELL support (as always amazingly helpful).
So yes I have unistalled WIDCOMM and my PC automatically activated Microsoft BT stack. AND WADDYAKNOW it WORKS! Brilliant! I have succesfully updated my contacts, havent tried anything else. But that is all I care about. Thankyou for your help and advice.
Interestingly when I had the same problem a year ago, DELL suggested I updated and reinstall WIDCOMM BT. WHich I did, and for a while this resolved the issue. Now it seems that MICROSOFT BT stack resolves the issue. Go figure.
Perhaps this is to do with the current versions of firmware and PCsuite?
Anyway just happy to have contacts sorted. thanks again.

Satellite U400 - error - Bluetooth has not started

I have used my u400 for 3 months without problem...
Then suddenly several problems with bluetooth occured...
When I wanted to use BT for example OBEX, I got error msg: "Bluetooth has not started".
I tried to reinstall driver for bt, but I couldn't. I got this error msg: "Please insert BT stack". So I decided to reinstall windows vista with recovery disk. On fresh install of vista, there were no bt drivers pre-installed. So I installed drivers and everything was fine for 2 days..
Now bluetooth is not working again.. can NOT reinstall drivers becouse of error msg again (Please insert BT stack) (Of course, the wifi switch is turned on).. The interesting thing is that in device manager is no BT hardware...
Any ideas?

Ive got a U400 too and I never had any BT issues
I updated the BIOS to the latest state
Did you do this too?
If not you could try to update the BIOS
Furthermore I recommend enabling the BT using the FN+F8 key combination
Using this buttons you can enable and disable the Bluetooth and WLan
Check it!

You have 30 days from when you download it, but when you then start watching it you have 48 hours (24 if your account is US based) to finish watching it before it expires.

JDev now always asks which activity to start (even though there's just one)

Hi all,
Another piece of fun from JDeveloper - now it is always asking me which activity to start, when I rightclick JSF page - Run.
Moreover, in this application there is just one runnable page, but JDev offers me a choice between two identical options: http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/6451/adfstartview.png .
It's just started in the morning without any application changes, yesterday it was OK. ... that's mad.
In the View project there's just Default where I tried to set Default Run Target.
How do I remove this irritating popup?

Not sure what happens there, but can you try and edit the default run configuration (menu-run->manage run configutration), uncheck the 'Attempt to run active...', search for the adfc-config-xml file in your project, select this file as run target.
Now select the ADF Task Flow node ans select the page you try to run.
Now start the app using the menu run-debug (or Shift f9)

X300 bluetooth enumerator cannot start

pls. help! my bluetooth enumerator cannot start. the message is "this device cannot start: error code 10", i tried uninstalling it and it still registers the same after it installs the device driver. i did not come with this error message when i first got my x300. my device can see the laptop and the laptop can see the device. but it cannot pair and it only succeeds until seeing it. any idea?

Your laptop model should have built-in BT 4.0 adapter, Liteon or Foxconn manufactured, based on the Broadcom chip BCM20702, the same as the dongle is.
So, for OS drivers there is a hardware conflict. Broadcom drivers isn't being installed properly because of BT adapters (built-in and external) have different USB IDs. I suppose manufacturer drivers from Broadcom site doesn't support IDs of built-in adapter. Its disabling within Device Manager doesn't matter for conflict resolving.
Further steps depend of your plans for built-in adapter using.

Bluetooth daemon not starting

Hi,
Not so much of a problem but, bluetooth daemon does not start on boot up.... sure I have it in daemons [no @!] but when you run hcitool scan you get no device found..
Is there a better place to start /etc/rc.d/bluetooth? ir rc.local maybe ?

we havent resolved the issues we have with RDA.
First when we opened a msg with SAP they asked to apply these notes:
1048864 - RDA daemon does not close empty requests
1042790 - P14: Real-time: QM action for real-time PSA request
Which fixed most of issues and but the delta queue wasnt being deleted in source system even after the data is loaded and request closed. Now they asked us to apply other note 1089041 - RDA InfoPackage does not delete delta queue which is supposed to be part of SP16. And guess what we patched our system with SP16 and Now the RDA doesnt work at all :). The RDA is active but the daemon never wakes up - So opened anyother note with SAP. And pretty soon I hope I will be making good friends with the SAP consultant I'm working with all the messages going back and forth.
Let us know if you found a magical way to make ur RDA work. I guess we decided to hold on RDA till starts behaving stable (may be SP53- you never know). And I would personally like to be able to close the request in 30mins and not 1hr default it has. I tried playing around with the FM's - no luck.

Bluetooth activating BB's voice dialing

Hi everybody I am using BB Curve 8330 OS v4.5.0.131 (platform 3.4.0.25)
carrier is Sprint.
I disabled the button on the left to stop voice dialing. I use a bluetooth samsung wep 460 and wep 200 as well. when I press the end call button on the bluetooth when i am not in call, then it activates the bb's voice dialing feature and ask me "say a command" .this is the problem. how do i disable this feature alltogether in blackberry so even i press this button on the bluetooth the voice activation wont come. If you ask why am i pressing that button when i am not in a call? it happens when I put the bluetooth in my ear mistakenly that button get pressed and if there was a background sound like squeeke door opening then it will dial automatically my friend Peg. Ouch...LOL

I had the exact same issue when I started playing with voice dialing with the Treo 800w. Here's what I did to get it working. This assumes you already have abluetooth headset that connects with the phone.
Goto Start--> Settings-->Voice Command.
Check the box for "Enabled".
In the window entitled "Check items are voice enabled", I checked the box next to "Phone" and "Contacts". Hit ok.
Now the part that I couldn't find documented anywhere:
On your bluetooth headset hit and release one time the "call/answer button" (sometimes refered to as the "use" button).
For me the button beeps when I click it, the a second later a single beep comes through the earpiece. That beep tells me that the microphone is active on the headset (the bluetooth icon on theTreo 800w will change to a headset icon).
I then say "Call" then the name of whoever I want to call. The phone appears to use the names in your contacts list, so if your mom is listed as mom you would say "call mom" if she's listed as Jane Smith you would say "Jane Smith".
If the phone is unsure exactly what you requested a computerized voice may come through the earpiece and ask as you a couple of things:
please repeat -- just say "call" and repeat the name of the person you want to call
call Jane Smith? -- just answer "yes" if you wanted to call Jane Smith or "no" if you wanted to call someone else.
I really think this could have been better documented. I'm a new Treo 800w user and brand spanking new to bluetooth.

After change in customization 'OR' activity not starts in parallel

Hi,
I made a change to a custom process 'AME Request Approval Process' for expenses workflow, the workflow works well but when I see the 'AP Standar Expense Report Process' which I didn't touch,
I can see that the activity "Receive Expenses Submit Event" used to be executed just after the start and now it starts after many other activities have completed, even though this activity doesn't affect the functionality.
I would like to know if I missed something or it is just the expected behaivor.

In cases where we want SAP to deduct additional tax in a retro situation, we specify the tax authority in the IMG step "Maintain priority of tax wage types". We specify it with Tax Priority value=1 (Take all) for both original period and retro period. Typically I recommend this for local tax authorities where it can be cumbersome for the employees to pay additional taxes at tax time. And usually the situation occurs because HR specified an incorrect IT0207 or IT0208 value, and the problem was caught after several payrolls have processed.
In theory it should work for your situation as well, but beware that any case of retro and under-withholding could trigger the additional state tax withheld. This might be okay - just depends on your normal procedure and desires when it comes to taxing in a retro situation. Also, make sure you're okay with this tax authority being different than others.

Bluetooth doesn't start

Hello,
I'd like to set my bluetooth to start automatically, but there doesn't seem to be that option. There is also no option to turn it on manually, either on the menu item or in system prefs. The only way I can get it to come on is to use the bluetooth tab on the mouse preferences and setup a new device everytime I want to use my same old bluetooth mouse. Surely there is some other way to start bluetooth?

Hi, Jeff. In System Preferences > Bluetooth, check the box for "Show BlueTooth status in menu bar." You should now have a command to "Turn Bluetooth on" in the pull-down menu beneath the BlueTooth icon in the menu bar. Is it not there?

Has anyone experienced a activity actual start date moving when updating progress

When updating an activity progress in a small schedule i notice that one of my activities which had already started on march 19th and was about 10% complete from a prior update jumped to March 23rd as start date. What is going on???

Could the activity be a Level of Effort or a WBS Summary? If so, it will follow any change to the earliest starting activity, if you made a change to this activity.

11G and activation agents , starting processes via mail

After my Apple update this morning, I am having trouble with the keyboard not popping up when I try to type on websites. I do not have the Bluetooth activated. This has come and gone twice today so far.Help.

After updating my iPad this morning, my keyboard keeps going from active to inactive on websites.

As long as you are sure that you have Bluetooth turned off .....
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
See if that helps.

Bluetooth activated by Default

By default to activate bluetooth and install its drivers you need to press Fn+F5(for first time use).
I'm looking for a way to have bluetooth already activated(and installed) by default.
Is there a value in an .XML file I can edit or in regedit?

X230t no bluetooth after cold start

Hi everyone,
Recently I upgraded to Windows 8.1 and after "cold" start bluetooth doesn't work and is not present in Device manager and in system tray. After restart all is OK.
The problem occurs only after "Shut down"!
Any ideas how to solve this problem?

I have one of the Mid 2010 27-inch iMac's running 10.7.3 without any audio problems like you describe. You mentioned that you have two hard drives. Do you have the factory installed hard drive + SSD, or did you install it yourself?
You mentioned TestGen. What version do you have installed? It appears that the latest version of the TestGen browser plug-in is 7.5.1.
Have you tried resetting PRAM?
Have you tried booting in Safe Mode to see whether booting without all of the extra kernel extensions makes the issue go away? If it does then I would look consider reinstalling Lion and evaluating the various utilities your've installed which may be affecting your audio.
