Bluetooth music feed skipping?

I have a Belkin NFC-enabled HD Bluetooth Music Receiver connected to my stereo. The device is paired with my MacBook Pro. When I'm perusing the internet or downloading something while listening to iTunes, the music begins skipping and hanging. Sometimes, I get a Bluetooth error saying the selected device cannot be used and the music continues playing through my laptop speakers.
Why does this happen? I would assume the Bluetooth connection and the internet connection would be mutually exclusive. Is there a way to fix it?

Might want to check the link below out. It's all Bluetooth devices using the 3.0 stack or earlier. I have a Sony and a Soundfreaq home stereo system as well as the dr dre beats Bluetooth and they all do it. Looks like someone dropped the ball. I hate to say it, but this kind of thing would not be happening if Jobs were still around. He is rolling over in his grave right now.

ITunes causing music to skip

Hello everyone. Lately, after using iTunes for a few hours the music starts skipping making the computer run choppy. It also skips the mouse and causes programs to timeout. I'm running the latest version of iTunes. I have no spyware, viruses or hijacks. Any idea on what could be the problem?
I have also defragmented the hard drive and updated the audio driver.

And before you do any of the above, make sure that you have all the recent Windows Updates from windowsupdate.com. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your particular sound card, and make sure you have the latest DirectX installed. Any of these could also cause this problem without QuickTime being the culprit.

Why is music is skipping with airport express?

It worked fine for more than a year. Now my music is skipping. I have an airport extreme router and airport express on my stereo to stream itunes from my macbook wireless. It's apples to apples to apples and not working. Help me apple!

After trying lots of things to stop the music skipping, such as channel changes and rebooting and restarting and reinstalling what seemed to do the trick was changing the radio mode on my airport extreme from
802.11n (802.11b compatible)
to
802.11n (802.11a compatible)

IPhoto slideshow music keeps skipping

I am using iPhoto to do some slideshows...for a while now, the music keeps skipping! And this is getting on my nerve really...can anybody help me out?
I don't think it's the RAM as it does it with small slideshow as well.
My iPhoto is uptodated to the last version.
I have tried using the Utility Disc Repair and deleting the com.iphoto.plist file or something like that...and it still keeps skipping.
Any other suggestions or correction on how to fix this problem?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Give us some information regarding your Mac: RAM, HD size and free space, as well as the size of photos in the slideshow.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

My iphone6 downloaded music keeps skipping songs, anyone else having this problem?

I transferred music from Iphone4s to Iphone 6 and when playing music keeps skipping over songs continuously. Even when you move it to a song, it will keep jumping to other songs. Is anyone having this problem or do you know how to fix?
I have had the phone for over a month and so far, am not happy with at all. Hopefully, I will learn to love but not there yet at all.

I've had this problem before and its when itunes screws up on syncing. the only way ive been able to fix it is by restoring my iphone. try this and make sure to back up before restoring!

Staying connected to Bluetooth (Belkin Bluetooth music receiver)

I play my iPad's music over my kitchen speakers by sending the iPad's audio to a Belkin bluetooth music receiver, which is connected to the speakers.
It all works well as long as the iPad stays within the Belkin's Bluetooth zone. The iPad can turn off, go to sleep etc. and when it wakes it is auto-connected to the Belkin BT receiver.
However, as soon as I carry the iPad outside of the Belkin's BT zone, the connection is lost. When i return to the BT zone, the iPad and the Belkin receiver do not re-connect. To reestablish a connection, I need to go back into Settings/General/Bluetooth and click on the listed device (which is labelled as "Not connected"). That reconnects the iPad and Belkin receiver, and all is well until the next time I carry the iPad out of the Belkin's range.
Any thoughts on how I can make this auto-connect when I return to the Belkin BT zone?

I have the same problem. Apparenly the Belkin BT music receiver doesn't support auto connect. Which is a massive shame.

Bluetoothing music from iTunes to iPad troubles

I just recently got an iPad mini for Christmas and I'm trying to bluetooth music from my iTunes on my MacBook to my iPad. When I go to transfer the music, I'm not quite sure how to? Please help!!

Before you connect your iPad to the computer follow these steps.
Open iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Device and here Check the option Prevent iPods, iPhones, iPads from syncing Automatically.
Then Connect your iPad with the computer and then click on your iPad and under Summary Tab select the option Manually Manage Music and Videos.
Once selected Manually Manage Music and Videos you can Drag and Drop selected songs to your iPad ( To choose Multiple songs from Windows computer select one song and press CTRL key on your keyboard while selecting the second and rest songs or CTRL+A to select all songs and for Mac computer you can select one song and press Command key on your keyboard while selecting the second and rest songs or Command+A to select all songs.)

S705 Bluetooth music streaming auto-answers incomi...

I've got a Motorola Soundpilot S705 Bluetooth music streaming device which I use with my N95 8Gb to stream music (obviously). It generally works fine, but for some reason, calls are automatically answered when the device is active and I do not want it to do this.
I have checked my settings and the device is not set to auto-answer.
My Nokia Bluetooth earpiece works fine without auto-answering calls, which made me presume that the problem lies with a feature on the S705, however Motorola insist that the device does not have a feature/ option for auto-answering calls and that the problem is with the N95 8Gb itself.
Any ideas how I can resolve this issue?

I have the same issue, but I am using a Blueant Z9i wireless headset, on a N95-8g
No matter what I set the option to it still auto answers...drives me crazy.
Tried deleting the device in bluetooth and reseting the bluetooth headset itself.
I called Bueant support, and they stated that was not a problem they have seen.

You can't move/copy music from your Music app to another device via BT.
There are some apps like

Notifications Interrupt Bluetooth Music Playback

When my iPhone 5, on iOS 7.0.6, is in silent mode, certain incoming notifications pause Bluetooth music playback and force me to restart playback manually. Anybody else having the same problem, or know what's going on?

We have tried this and faced the same issues as you have. Unfortunately we haven't found why this happens. We think it has got something to do with the BlueTooth signal, but Apple would know more about this.

I was planning on buying an e70 with ck20w for bluetooth music streaming but i found a thread on this forum mentioning that E70 streaming has poor quality.
Can you inform me what models have the capability of stereo high quality bluetooth streaming?

Have you tried deleting the device, setting the volume high on the phone and pairing again?

Try the following.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Desktop.
Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows and run the uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the notebook.
Next, download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if the videos etc play Ok - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and check that videos play Ok - if they don't, click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component. When done, restart Internet Explorer.

pioneer avh-3400bh, just got it installed, read reviews online about bluetooth music information no longer showing up after ios6 update....... any clue to when Apple will either fix this error or allow people to go back to older versions of operating systems?

FINALLY! a firmware update came out today for the 3400BH (among others) - I got an email from PIoneer and downloaded and installed the new firmware - now the radio works perfect! The only problem is, you can only install the firmware update via bluetooth PC, which is NOT as easy as the instrucions show - if you have a bluetooth dongle (like I do) there were several issues during the install - finally got it installed (not quite sure how exactly) but it works.
