BO XI Designer System selection empty

Hi,
We have just finished a new installation of BO XI, everything was working fine for few days but now the logon screen of the Designer is empty.
The system selection of the Designer is now empty, all features are working fine. Any ideas guys ?

you mean the logind screen where you write the
"System"
"User Name"
"password"
"Authentication"
you can just fill it out
"System" put ur bo server name + ":6400"
so if ur server namem is "BO" ,, then write it as "BO:6400"
enter your user name "Administrator"
enter the password , leave it blank if this was new installation
select "Enterprise" for the authentication.

First of all, you need to check the hosts file on your client system.
hosts file has to include some information such as "host/ipaddress" and so forth..
In my case, I found out that the issue is related to OS System.
If I installed IQ16 SP08 on window 2008 R2 (English version) or added a package of english language.
And then I changed display language from korean to english.
I succeeded to log in to cockpit console.
And the cockpit related log files are helpful to investigate the root causes.

Copied a page from a co-worker, but design tab is empty.

My co-worker sent me a jsp and java file for a page he's developing so that
I could review it and do a little work on it.
When I open the jsp, I see the 3 tabs: Design, Jsp, and Java.
The Jsp and Java pages work fine, but the Design page is empty.
How do I find out what the problem is and fix it?

How to create empty text file on target system for empty source text file

Hi All,
I have an issue in handling empty file in the Text (FCC) to Text (FCC) file scenario. Interface picks text file and delivers on target system as text file. I have used FCC in both sender and receiver CCs.
Interface is working fine if the source file is not empty. If the source text file is empty (zero Bytes), interface has to delivery an empty text file on target system. I have setup empty file handling options correctly on both CCs.
But when I tried with an empty file I am getting the error message 'Parsing an empty source. Root element expected!'.
Could you please suggest me what I need to do to create an empty text file on target system from empty source text file?

the problem is that when there is an empty file there is no XML for parsing available. Hence in case you are using a mapping it will fail.
What ideally you should do is to have a module that will check if the file is empty and if so write out an XML as you want with no values in the content/fields.
Or the next choice would be to have a java mapping to handle this requirement. I guess that on an empty file the java mapping will go to an exception which you can handle to write out your logic/processing

"SAP Systems" selection not showing in SAPinst welcome screen

I recently purchased a NetWeaver Development subscription and am following the installation guide for SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR3 ABAP+Java on Windows with MS SQL Server. However, in the Welcome menu of SAPinst under the NetWeaver selection, I am not seeing the "SAP Systems" selection as it is described in section 4.3 "Installing a SAP system using SAPinst". I only see the selections "Standalone Engines", "Optional Standalone Units", and "Software Life-Cycle Options". Could someone please tell me how I can install a "Central System" on a Windows 2003 Server? Thanks.

So the deal is to install a SR2 and then upgrade...Lucky i still have SR2 installs...
I wonder what the solution would be if we didn't still had the install files for SR2. And what is the official
reaction from SAP when installing SR2 win 32 bit for a customer, since the customer do not currently supports 64bit?
I have tried to talk the customer intto 64 bit, but no luck so fare
On the other hand if they have a large environment running WM ware, then it can be a big job to upgrade!

Getting system selection colors

I am trying to implement the TreeCellRenderer interface. In doing that, I need to take care of the condition when a node is selected by the user, by changing the background and foreground colors of the node.
Can somebody tell me how to get the default system selection colors?
In List Renderers, this can be done by calling the getSelectionBackground () method.
However, no such method exists for JTrees.
Any ideas?

that gets a hashtable (UIDefaults extends Hashtable) so you could use that to get a set of keys and create a list of keys for the L&F you are using. Most key names are pretty obvious what type they are (colors, fonts, etc.)

I want to design a temperature data acquisition system by using 34970A,but now i have a problem that i don't know how to design a channels selecting vi?
My idea is to select any channel from multiple channels to scan,pls help me for explaining how to do,because my labviw knowledge and experience is so poor.

Thanks for the response. In order to incorporate the sampling information (sampling frequency) into my data ( 160 X 512 2-D Array), I use "Build Waveform.vi." However, for the input argument "Y," I can only use a 1-D array. I try with my 2-D array, but it gives me a connection error. So, my first thought was to stick the Build Waveform.vi into a for loop with a shift register. I use an indexing tunnel node when guiding my data array into the loop. I then connect the 1-D array to the build waveform.vi, and send the output to a "Build Array.vi" where the output goes to the shift register, and the other input comes from the first shift register. What prevents this from working i.e., creating a 2-D waveform array, is that the option to uncheck the "Concatenate Inputs" is not available when i right click on the Build Array.vi. I notice that I do have the option to uncheck it when i'm just using 2 waveforms without the shift register. Would you have any suggestions? I want keep it running as efficient as possible, so i figured that I might want to avoid doing the filtering 160*13 times, manually.
would there be any advantage to using the Digital IIR Filter.vi over the Butterworth Filter.vi ? The input for the former is a waveform while for the latter is a plain ol' array, but i notice that i can send a waveform into it and i don't get an error.

GUI-- Available system list empty

Dear Expert
The SAP Systems are not displaying in GUI while maintaing system in "create new system entry", the list are empty and you can create new system by the clicking on the user specified sysstem.
I have matained the following files;
 sapmsg.ini c:\windows
 saproute.ini c:\windows
 saplogon.ini is maintained himself
sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini file maintained properly. i am able to see the Router list and message server list while maintaing the system through the group server selection screeen

thanks for the hint with the server log. I found out that the portal server gets an error if VCServer tries to get the system list.

Archiving materials - Arquiving selection empty

Hi Gurus,
To archive a list of materials (without PO's, stock, etc) I do the following:
- Flag materials for deletion (t-code MM06);
- Create archive file (t-code MM71), or at least I try to do so (the jobs have status finished).
But when I'm going to MM72 or SARA - Delete, the arquiving selection is empty. I also runned program MMREO050 and I receive the following message: BA248 "Archive file c:\temp\MMO cannot be opened for write program".
Does anyone know what should I do to have the archive file in MM72 or SARA?

No System selectable in Maintenance Transaction for SolMan 7.0 itself

Hello,
I would like to update Solution Manager 7.0 SPS17 (SAPKITL427) to EHP1 with a "Maintenance Transaction". But in Basic Settings, when I choose Solution Manager 7.0, the System and Logical Component (which is configured) aren't displayed. So in the next Step, the Button "Find Download files" under "Calculate Download files automatically" is greyed out.
When I start a MOPZ for the connected ERP 6.0, the productive System (but Q and Dev not) and the configured Logical Component are selectable, and the Button works.
So, I checked the SMSY-Configuration for SolMan and the ERP P-System, and cannot find a difference. And I think, that the QAS- and DEV-System should be visible too?
Does anyone has an idea, what I have to check, to get the SolMan-System/Logical Component (and the QAS and DEV) in MOPZ?

Solution was Note 1247550 (as "Sub-Note" of 1122966): All system are now visible (SolMan, QAS and DEV)
When I now go to the second step I can choose "Maintenance" and select afer pressing "Find Download files" SPS till 21.
But:
For the ERP System I can choose "Enhancement Package Installation". As SPS 21 for Solution Manager is correspondig to EHP1, I think, I should see the choice "Enhancement Package Installation" for the solution Manager, too?
Is this correct? And, if not, should I solve it, to be able to install EHP1?
