Bookmark, Logging behavior when Relication Agents stopped/started

I have a few questions about bi-directional replication for 1 DSN on TT 7.0.5 with disk-based logging.
(1) If the replication agents are stopped on both machines, will the log files stop being written? Or do they accumulate?
(2) When the agents are started, do they continue replication from the original bookmarks?
I'm trying to determine it the 2 machines become out-of-sync when agents are stopped, DSN continue to be updated, and then agents are started.

I'll answer all the questions in one post if I may:
+(1) If the replication agents are stopped on both machines, will the log files stop being written? Or do they accumulate?+
Each replication flow (with bi-direactional there are two flows, A -> B and B -> A) has a state (start, stop, failed, pause) which is independent of whether or not the replication agent is running (the replication agent is what performs the actual capture, propagate, apply, acknowledge steps).
Start - log bookmarks are maintained and if repagent is running replication flow occurs.
Stop - no bookmarks are maintained (logs can be purged), no flow even if repagent is running.
Failed - same as stop but only set automatically by system, typically if LOG THRESHOLD exceeded.
Pause - bookmarks maintained, no replication flow occurs even if repagent is running
The default state for a flow is 'start' but this can be manipulated via ttRepAdmin and may be set automatically if e.g. LOG THRESHOLD is exceeded. So, stopping the repagents on one or both machines does not change the state of the flow. Logs will accumulate until the repagents are restarted.
+(2) When the agents are started, do they continue replication from the original bookmarks?+
Yes, everything will carry on from the original bookmarks. Note that unless you have strict workload partitioning this scenario may exacerbate any conflict issues.
I'm trying to determine it the 2 machines become out-of-sync when agents are stopped, DSN continue to be updated, and then agents are started.
As long as you have strict workload partitioning to ensure no conflicts then there is no problem. Without workload partitioning then divergence is possible even under normal conditions and even if conflcit resolution is used.
What is the best way to monitor that log space is approaching a disk full state?
This really an O/S level issue. You can use a regularly executed script which parses the output of something like 'df -k' or you could write an application that uses the relevant O/S calls to monitor the space in the filesystem. This is easiest if the logs have a dedicated filesystem (which they should have anyway for performance reasons). From the Timesten side you can use ttBookmark to see if the 'hold' LSN is starting to fall further and further behind the 'current' LSN. This is an indication that replication is not able to keep up with the workload and that logs are therefore accumulating.

I lost my bookmarks and history when I stop safari and start it again !
I reset safari and remove it and redownload it again
But still the problem

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take several minutes to run, depending on how many files you have. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open. In that window, type this:

One thing is for sure, and that is if the only page i visit is the Google homepage (not logged in) or this site (mozilla forum), the problem does not occur, ever. I can't make it happen.

Run SQL Agent Job in endless loop(When it's done, start over again)

There is an SQL Agent Job containing a complex Integration Services Package performing some ETL Jobs. It takes between 1 and 4 hours to run, depending on our data sources. The Job currently runs daily, without problems. What I would like to do now is to
let it run in an endless loop, which means: When it's done, start over again.
The scheduler doesn't seem to provide this option. I found that it would be possible to use the steps interface to go to step one after the last step is finished, but there's a problem using that method: If I need to stop the job, I would need to do that in
a forceful way. However I would like to be able to let the job stop after the next iteration. How can I do that?

Do you mean you need to keep on polling db for something continuosly ?
If thats the requirement there's no need of continuosly calling the step
Instead of that you can include a loop with wait logic to keep on checking for your condition until it satisfies. You can WAITFOR clause for that

I don't like Firefox nearly as much as I like Safari. What is happening? How do I fix the problem?

Might be a corrupted database ...
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Repair your QuickTime.
Control Panel > Programs n Features > highlight QuickTime and click CHANGE then REPAIR.

What do you mean by you get a log file when starting up the AppServer? There is always a log file present. There should not be a new log file created every time you start the server. Look under <install directory>/domains/domain1/logs for the server log file.

I don't know enough to not follow directions. I bought the software brand new in a sealed from factory box. Had it sitting around until - last week when I deleted flash on my computer and had to upgrade to the new OSX. Mountain Lion doesn't use iPhoto - so I had to go with something else. Since I already had this new - unopened package I opened it up. Shut down all running programs - inserted the disk and followed all the directions for installation. Still it didn't work.
I have now uninstalled it (the proper way) and am going to try again.

You get that problem if you select the Firefox program to handle a file if you get an "open with" dialog.

i wrote a sample test.jsp and TestJava.java file and i tried callin api getValue() in TestJava.java from test.jsp.then i did some modifications to this api i.e., i changed the return type from String to int . then compiled n also touched the file but the changes didn't get reflected instead i got the followin error.
