  • Bootstrap error when installing photo elements 13 on windows machine

    So I have a Macbook and a windows 7 64 bit machine. I was able to install my Photoshop elements 13 program on my macbook with no issues. When I went to install it on my windows machine, I am having all kinds of issues. It keeps giving me a bootstrap error when trying to install the program. When I search for an online solution it will close the program right out. I have no idea what is going on or how to fix this. If someone can please help that will be a great deal. And yes I am using the CD labeled Windows. TIA
    John.

    Hi,
    When you insert the DVD does it autostart?
    Do you get the bootstrap error straight away?
    An alternative would be to download the installation files from the following and use the serial number you got with your DVD.
    Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10

  • Bootstrapping Error:ALC-TTN-100-004

    Hi,
    I downloaded "JBoss_EFGJ_DVD_Beta6" and then i installed Adobe Livecycle Reader Extension(manual installation). In "Livecycle ES Database initialization" stage following error has occured.
    Bootstrapping Error:ALC-TTN-100-004
    Failed on retreiving tasks from server.
    ALC-TTN-100-004: An exception occured in the client-side bootstrap code:[null]
    So please kindly advice me, how to solve this error.
    Regards,
    Prabudass

    Hi Prabudass,
    The client (LCM) was unable to handle the response returned by the server. The error code indicates that the server returned an HTTP response code that was not:
    200 OK
    404 Not Found
    4xx (Any other 400-series HTTP response code)
    5xx (Any other 500-series HTTP response code)
    I'm not exactly sure what is causing this, perhaps a different 200-series response code is being returned?

  • Bootstrap error (exitcode = 66) in BI Java Refresh

    Hi All,
    I am working on a BI Java system refresh issue and the system isn't starting up soon after DB swap. Following please find more details on this.
    The OS is RHEL, Linux and database is Oracle 10.2.0.2. SAP system is BI Java 7.0.
    I am not able to start up BI Java system after DB swap and it gives me the following error:
    ERROR => invalid return code for process [bootstrap] (exitcode = 66) [jstartxx_mt. 1642].
    I checked the bootstrap parameter and other Java configuration parameter files along with logs in work directory but donu2019t quite getting on what to change and where right after refresh. The DB is performing well. Backup can be successfully taken via BRTOOLS.
    Following are the steps I performed soon after replacing DB files:
    ALTER TABLESPACE PSAPTEMP ADD TEMPFILE '/oracle/BJ9/sapdata1/temp.data1'
    SIZE 1048576000  REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 20971520  MAXSIZE 10000M;
    create user ops$orabj9 identified externally
    default tablespace PSAPSR3DB temporary tablespace psaptemp
    quota unlimited on PSAPSR3DB
    create user ops$bj9adm identified externally
    default tablespace PSAPSR3DB temporary tablespace psaptemp
    quota unlimited on PSAPSR3DB
    drop table ops$bj9adm.SAPUSER;
    create table ops$bj9adm.SAPUSER
    (USERID   VARCHAR2(255),
    PASSWD   VARCHAR2(255))
    grant select,insert,update,delete on ops$bj9adm.SAPUSER to sapdba;
    grant connect,resource,sapdba to ops$orabj9;
    grant connect,resource,sapdba to ops$bj9adm;
    grant alter user to sapdba;
    insert into ops$bj9adm.SAPUSER values ('SAPPRD','sap')
    alter user sapsr3db profile default;
    alter user sapsr3db identified by sap;
    Any help on post refresh steps for BI Java system will be very helpful.
    Thank you,
    Shival

  • Bootstrapping Error: ALC-TTN-105-000 under linux

    As I deploied with Adobe LiveCycle Configuration Manager I got an error :
    ALC-TTN-105-000: Could not connect to bootstrap Servlet: Port [Connection refused] may be invalid
    I have checked with this command: netstat -an | find "8080. There was no service processed on it. So, what I should do to solve this?
    Best regards

    sorry, the discription was not clear. I would like to replenish this. This scene was to initialize the LiveCycle ES2 database and with the host: localhost and the HTTP port: 8080
    And I tried to start the jboss and found out, there is no directory of the jboss under /opt/jboss.
    thanks

  • LiveCycle ES Database Initialization Failing with Bootstrapping error

    I did non-turnkey installation of LCES on windows XP and deployed the adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear on Jboss-4.0.2 app server. Also created databases called adobe and adobe_meta in MySql and grant all permissions to adobe user.
    Then configured datasource as per deployment guide with jndi-name as IDP_DS and put the adobe-ds.xml file in server/all/deploy folder.
    When I try to initialize the database using Configuration Manager, the following error occurs:
    com.adobe.livecycle.bootstrap.BootstrapException: ALC-TTN-103-000: Bootstrapping request failed on server
    ALC-TTN-002-001: JDBC datasource lookup failed for resource reference [java:comp/env/jdbc/
    IdpDs]. The most likely cause is that a datasource having a JNDI
    name of [IDP_DS] does not exist or is misconfigured. Check the application
    server's configuration.
    In server console it shows javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: XAConnectionFactory exception.
    I am getting LiveCycle Administration Login page but could not loging since database entries have not done yet.
    If anybody could help me out of this issue that would be really appreciable.

    The issue with LiveCycle ES Database Initialization has been resolve and I am able to login to the administration console.
    It was an issue with Jboss which was giving some parsing exception. When removed the option ( -Djava.endorsed.dirs=%JBOSS_HOME%/server/all/lib/endorsed ) from the run.bat script, the server started smothly enough to complete the deploy process
    Thanks to all and I appreciate the support I got from the forum.
    Cheers.

  • Olapi Bootstrap error

    First of all, I'm not 100% sure whether this is the right forum to publish questions on the OLAP API. IF not just let me know and I move over.
    I'm currently testing/getting to know the new OLAP API shipped with Oracle 9i Release 2 using JDeveloper 9i Release 2 (with the new OLAP API libraries not the ones shipped with the Beans) following the guidelines of the OLAP Developer's guide.
    Testing the connection and metadata access the following code snippet, more precisely, the initialize () method gives me various errors. The first error I encountered was 'Could not load libolapapi9.so'. This ambiguous message conveys that I'm on a Unix platform which isn't true (Win 2000). The error stems from the olapibootstrap function defined in the SYS schema as an external function.
    ExpressTransactionProvider tp = new ExpressTransactionProvider () ;
    ExpressDataProvider dp = new ExpressDataProvider (conn, tp) ;
    try {
    dp.initialize () ;
    } catch (SQLException ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace () ;
    What I discovered until now:
    1. the user_libraries table for SYS contains an empty field in column file_spec for the RDBMS_OLAPI_LIB library
    2. this library is referenced in the olapibootstrap function's definition in Oracle
    3. once I recreated the library definition and filled in the user_library's file_spec column, another error occurs namely that another dll (msvcp60.dll) could not be loaded
    4. having located this dll and copied to a directory which is in the PATH so it is accessible, an RPC error occurs stating that the connection to the RPC agent is lost
    And I'm lost as well.
    Could someone from Oracle look into this and give me some tips for workarounds? I hope I did not ignore any post-installation procedures. I keep trying.......
    Regards,
    Csaba Riedlinger

    The OLAP API bug 2323002 mentioned in this thread affects only Windows 2000 and XP, all other platforms including Windows NT are not affected. As stated earlier, please expect an one-off (fix) posted soon to MetaLink. The possibility of an OTN download is also being actively pursued. Thanks Csaba for adding your comments on the issue. I'll keep the forum updated on the release and general availability.
    The one-off (fix) for Oracle9i OLAP Release 2 has been posted to MetaLink. Again, this critical fix addresses OLAP API Bug 2323002.

    I'd like to share some updates on this:
    We discovered, that the line having "$internal/check" within SecStore.properties was indeed commented out. However we did not do that manually. We removed the comment from that file manually (which might be a mistake) but in doing so we at least got some progress but having some other errors:
    We find now following Messages in the dev-jstart-logfile:
    * WARNING => SfCEventDispatcher::processQueue: rc 3 (invalid function argument) from SfCJavaProcHandler(server0)([mType=PROC_CMD, mRepl y=TRUE, pca=[cmd=GET_CALLSTACK, procId=2, arg=65], mpEvent= [mType=NODE_CMD, mReply=TRUE, nca=[cmd=GET_CALLSTACK, nodeId=2]]])

    Executing sapcontrol -GetProcessList you can see that all precesses are running but jstart is yellow (some processes are running). Checking the message Server logfile you can find:

  • DiskUtility error: unable to bootstrap transaction group

    I get this bootstrap error with a checksum mismatch but searching only found 1 other person with 'chksum mismatch' with 1 reply which was not of use.

    Unable to bootstrap transaction group 609: cksum mismatch"
    MacBook Pro 13" early 2011, 10.7.2, Kingston 60 GB SSD as boot volume. FileVault full disk encryption is enabled.
    I get this error when use Verify Disk when booted from the volume or even when I try to Repair Disk when I boot from a Lion flash drive or in target mode.
    I also get the green OK messages at the end but when I Verify/Repair again, it still shows the same bootstrap errors. Why does this happen? Why doesn't DiskUtility fix it? Is it a bad error? Seems odd that it says OK at the end but still shows the errors.
    Thanks.

  • SAP NetWeaver 7.3 AS Java install error in Install Java Engine phase

    Hi All,
    I am doing my first installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.3 AS Java on Windows Server 2008 R2 with Oracle database 11.2.0.3, this is a domain installation.
    I have been following the SAP Installation guide and everything has been going well but I am now stuck with an error in the Install Java Engine phase of the installation.
    The error message I am receiving is:
    An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > SAP Systems > Application Server Java > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step: Process call 'C:\usr\sap\E1D\J00\exe\jstart.exe pf=\\sourcing\sapmnt\E1D\SYS\profile\E1D_J00_sourcing -file=C:\usr\sap\E1D\J00\exe\startup.properties -nodename=bootstrap -launch' exits with error code 1. For details see log file(s) jstart_bootstrap_J00.log.)
    When I check the jstart_bootstrap_J00.log it is empty.
    I have done some searching for a solution for this error and it seems it may be related to the database not running. I can confirm that I have run lsnrctl start and also, in sqlplus, run startup; both commands showed that the starting of the listener and database were successful.
    Does anyone know what might be causing this error?
    Many thanks
    Dan

    Hi Srikishan,
    In C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\NW73\INSTALL\NW73\ORA\STD the file jstart_bootstrap_J00.log is empty.
    In C:\usr\sap\E1D\J00\work there was no jstart_bootstrap_J00.log file, however there was a file called log_bootstrap.0.log, the contents are:

  • Ruby on rails in archlinux bootstrap instalation

    I have 6 servers that were migrated from CentOS to Archlinux. They run apache with ruby on rails. The installations were done via bootstrap with one exception. In all they had to have them installed via bootstrap error "invalid byte sequence in US-ASCII ". I created a debug to see what is happening because the whole application runs on UTF-8. I noticed that the servers installed with bootstrap changed the environment variables, these changes occurred with the application running.

    The frequency of the error is one of the servers is 30 in 30 minutes, which made me disable syslog and crontab, but still not resolved, the others are one time during the day or at night.
    As I said, the facilities with Centos or Arch with CD do not present problems.

  • ESB Console Error while trying to install AIA FP 2.2

    Hi all
    I am installing AIA FP 2.2 and while installing I am getting the following error:
    "Design time cache has not been initialized"
    also
    When I log into my esb console I am getting this error:
    Designtime cache has not been initialized Please look in logs for following signs of failure. Fix them and restart. (a) Database access errors (b) ESB Bootstrap errors (c) OC4J class load errors (d) Product installation errors (e) Export ESB params and verify if host and port parameters are correct. Please contact Oracle Support if unable to fix the issue.
    Any suggestions to solve this issue?????
    Regards
    Senthil R

    Hi Senthil,
    As mentioned in the message below, please examine the logs and see if you are getting any errors. Most likely your ESB engine initialization is failing while server bootup. If there is no error in the oc4j log, OPMN log and FP install log and the propblem persists, please contact your Oracle Support by logging an SR.
    Regards
    Rohit

    After activatin iCloud, my dotMac account wouldn't retrieve mail anymore. It kept saying that my username or password were not good. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't restore the service.
    Here's how I got it working again.
    Apparently my 6 letter password is no longer acceptable. You need to update it to an 8 letter password that includes numbers and capital letters.
    So I went to https://iforgot.apple.com and asked to reset my password.
    Because I could still get my emails logging into iCloud with Safari, I responded to Apple's email, and created a stronger password.
    Than I updated the passwords on my computer's Mail program, iPhone, and iPad (and of course everything else, iTunes, etc.).
    That was it!
    Everything works as normal again, I even was finally able to synchronize calendars over different computers again.
    Try it out, it could be your issue as well.
