Bounce file exceeds maximum size. How to change CAF
I'm new at editing recordings. I only record my speaking engagements. They are rarely under one hour. When I tried to "share" to my iTunes, I got an error message that says
"The bounce file exceeds the maximum file size. Please change the format to CAF, or decrease the bounce range."
I have NO idea what that means, and NO idea where I would change the format. Could someone please enlighten me?
I really appreciate your volunteering your time to share this information!
ALSO: If I wanted to divide a recording into parts, how would one go about doing this? (maybe making 20 minute sections - and that would decrease the size of the file).
MANY thanks,
Lianda
When you are sharing to iTunes, try a different quality setting, not AIFF. A lower quality setting will give a smaller file size.
To export only a part of the song, enable "Export Cycle Region only" and then use the Cycle region (the yellow bar in the ruler), to mark the part of the song you want to share to iTunes.

SDO_ORDINATES.X.Field in data file exceeds maximum length
Hi All,
While loading data in .SHP file into oracle spatial through SHP2SDO tool following error message appears:
Error message:
Record 54284: Rejected - Error on table GEO_PARCEL_CENTROID, column CENTROID_GEOM.SDO_ORDINATES.X.

I read some where this is due to the SQL * Loader takes default column value to 255 characters. But there is confusion to me how to change the column size in control file because it is object data type. I am not sure this is correct or not.
The control file show as below:

I am not seeing why this would be failing.HI,
the problem is delimited data defaults to char(255)..... Very helpful I know.....
what you need to two is tell sqlldr hat the data is longer than this.
so change notes to notes char(4000) in you control file and it should work.

Error: Debug Component exceeds maximum size (65535 bytes)
Hi All,
It would seem that I have come across a limitation in the CAP file format for Java Card 2.2.1. When I run the Sun 2.2.1 converter I get the following output:
Converting oncard package
Java Card 2.2.1 Class File Converter, Version 1.3
Copyright 2003 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms.
error: Debug Component exceeds maximum size (65535 bytes).
Cap file generation failed.
conversion completed with 1 errors and 0 warnings. This also happens with JCDK 2.2.2. Is there any way around this limitation? I can instruct the compiler to not generate some of the debug output such as variable attributes, but this makes the debugger less than useful. I could not find anything in the JCVM spec for JC2.2.1 that mentions this limitation (I could have missed it very easily if it is there). Is this a limitation that will be lifted in new versions of the standard? This is tarting to be a bit of a problem as our code base has outgrown our development tools (no more debugger). Compiling and running without debug information works fine.
Any information on this would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
ShaneFor those that are interested, I found this in the Java Card VM spec. u1 and u2 are 1 and 2 byte unsigned values respectively. It would appear that it is a limitation of the CAP file format. We have managed to work around this problem (parsing the debug component of the cap file was very informative) by shortening package names, reducing exception handling, and removing classes that we could do without.
It looks like this is removed for JC3.0 Connected Edition does not have this issue as it does not have CAP files, but JC2.2.2 and JC3.0 Classic Edition have this same issue. It would be nice if there was a converter/debugger combination that removed this limitation. If anyone knows of such a combination, I am all ears! I know for a fact that JCOP does not :(
Cheers,
Shane
*6.14 Debug Component*
This section specifies the format for the Debug Component. The Debug Component contains all the metadata necessary for debugging a package on a suitably instrumented Java Card virtual machine. It is not required for executing Java Card programs in a non-debug environment.
The Debug Component references the Class Component (Section 6.8 "Class Component), Method Component (Section 6.9 "Method Component), and Static Field Component (Section 6.10 "Static Field Component). No components reference the Debug Component.
The Debug Component is represented by the following structure:
{code}
debug_component {
u1 tag
u2 size
u2 string_count
utf8_info strings_table[string_count]
u2 package_name_index
u2 class_count
class_debug_info classes[class_count]
{code}
The items in the debug_component structure are defined as follows:
*tag* tag item has the value COMPONENT_Debug (12).
*size* The number of bytes in the component, excluding the tag and size items. The value of size must be greater than zero. -

Field in data file exceeds maximum length - CTL file error
Hi,
I am loading data in new system using CTL file. But I am getting error as 'Field in data file exceeds maximum length' for few records, other records are processed successfully. I have checked the length of the error record in the extract file, it is less than the length in the target table, VARCHAR2 (2000 Byte). Below is the example of error data,
Hi Rebecca~I have just spoken to our finance department and they have agreed that the ABCs payments made can be allocated to the overdue invoices, can you send any future invoices direct to me so that I can get them paid on time.~Hope this is ok ~Thanks~Terry~
Is this error caused because of the special characters in the string?
Below is the ctl file I am using,
OPTIONS (SKIP=2)
LOAD DATA
CHARACTERSET WE8ISO8859P1
INFILE '$FILE'
APPEND
INTO TABLE "XXDM_DM_17_ONACCOUNT_REC_SRC"

Thanks in advance,
AdityaHi,
I suspect this is because of the built in default length of character datatypes in sqldr - it defaults to char(255) taking no notice of what the actual table definition is.
Try adding CHAR(2000), to your controlfile so you end up with something like this:
OPTIONS (SKIP=2)
LOAD DATA
CHARACTERSET WE8ISO8859P1
INFILE '$FILE'
APPEND
INTO TABLE "XXDM_DM_17_ONACCOUNT_REC_SRC"
WHEN (1)!= 'FOOTER='

Zip files Exceedingly compressed size message of 30 megabytes are quarantined
I get this message when I received a zip file over 30 megabytes.
FILE QUARANTINED
The original contents of this file have been replaced with
this message because of its characteristics.
File name: '172-16-1-4-04SEP14.ZIP'
Malware name: 'Exceedingly compressed size'
I have 3 question
1. How do I turn off the function in Exchange 2013 of blocking ZIPs over 30 megabytes?
2. Where is the "quarantine" located that the error message is referring to?
3. If I want to how can I raise the value to 50 megabytes?

Different photos with the same file name!! How to change this?
While I was organizing my photos, I realized there are about 30 or so photos that have the same exact file name as another photo. Example: There are two IMG_1243.jpg, but they are different pictures. They were taken at different times, even different years. I have used more than one camera to import photos. I have changed the name of one of the photos in the Title area in the information section of iPhoto. When I try to put the newly named photo into a folder that has the other IMG_1243, I get a message that says" An older item named "IMG_1243" already exists. Do you want to replace it with the newer one you are moving?"
I want to have both IMG_1243.jpg photos in the same folder. How can I do this? Also, I have a few thousand pictures, so how can I tell exactly how many photos have the same file name as another photo?Celtic Mom

It sounds like you are using the finder inside the iPhoto library - do not do that - you will corrupt your library and lose the edits, keywords, etc that you have
iPhoto does not care about duplicate file names - it handles it fine
changing the title of a photo does not affect the file name - although when you export the photo you can use the title for the file name as an option
What are you doing and what do you want to accomplish?
Remember do not ever make any changes in the iPhoto library using the finder or any other program

Source file is wrong size- How can I "zoom-in"?
I have a Flash file that was created for my website, but for some reason when I published the website the Flash file is much smaller than what I was reviewing by dragging and dropping it into a web-browser. I am happy with the overall size of the Flash file when I use the zoom feature in IE, Safari, FireFox etc. (typically zoom 2-3x).
Is there a way to zoom without having to recreate everything in Flash? maybe an output setting or something? I don't want to loose quality just have it bigger on the initial launch of the web link.
Thanks
Smith31682You can just change the dimensions for the movie that are specified in the html page code. As long as you keep the width/height ratio the same, it should not distort anything. You may lose some quality visually if the uses images, but that depends how much larger you specify it to be.

Has maximum size for documents changed in CS4
In InDesign CS2 and CS3 maximum file size is 5486 mm.
Can anyone tell me if it has changed in CS4?I am in the middle of a job with quite large jobs between 10 - 16 metres.
As we just ordered CS4 I wondered if it would be easier using CS4.
But no ... Thank you for testing.
