BPEL Activity Annotation Tab???
ALL BPEL Activity has a Annotation Tab, which contains followings.
A) Enable Annotation
B) Documentation
C) General Subtab (with Add, Edit, Delete options) with Name & Value Columns
D) Analysis Subtab (with Add, Edit, Delete options) with Name & Value Columns
I wanted to know significance of each of these fields in Annotation Tab.
Thanks In Advance!

You can find information regarding the Annotation tan on below link:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_appx_ref.htm
Extract from the link:
The Annotations tab displays on all activities and enables you to provide descriptions in activities in the form of code comments and name and pair value assignments.
Note the following issues when using annotations in Oracle JDeveloper:
* The Annotations tab in activities of Oracle JDeveloper does not provide a method for changing the order of annotations. As a work around, change the order of annotations in the Source view of the project's BPEL file in Oracle BPEL Designer.
* The otherwise branch in a switch activity does not allow you to create annotations. However, the case branch in a switch activity does provide this functionality.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

==============================================================Hi,
Just several ideas to be checked:
1. Please, verify the prerequisites of Operations Console listed by the following link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn249696.aspx
2. Install all the SCOM related system updates.
3. Clear SCOM Console cache:
http://systemcenter.no/?p=215
4. Try to clean up Ops Manager cache on SCOM Management server. To do this stop Microsoft Monitoring Agent service, navigate to SCOM installation path (by default, C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\Operations Manager\Server) and
delete Health Service State folder. Start Microsoft Monitoring Agent service afterwards.
5. If nothing helps, maybe try to reinstall SCOM Console.

How to read data in CRM Activity relationship tab.
Hello friends,
I have a requirement to read data from CRM Activity relationship tab.
Mainly i have to read Transaction No/object refernced trans field of CRM Activity relationship tab.
Could anybody help me?
Thanks,
BunnyHi,
have you found in the meanwhile a good solution?
I have also a similar requirement.
At the moment I'm using the view CRMV_ACTFORGP to get the activities associated to a BP (by the way you have many filters that can be used) and then for each GUID (order guid - CRMD_ORDERADM_H-GUID) I call the fm BAPI_REL_GETRELATIONS to get the list of relationships.

Activity Guide tab not visible in BPM Workspace
I've deployed a simple BPM Process which consists of one Initiator and one User task. I've added both the activities to a milestone what I defined under the Activity Guide.
I've used JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 to develope the Process.
But after deploying the same in Server, I can't see the "Activity Guide" tab in the BPM Workspace.
Thogh I can see the activity guide available for editing in composer portal.
Please help me if you know how can I get the "Activity Guide" tab in the BPM Workspace?
Thanks in advance.
SambitHi Paulo,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I kind of assumed that it's a feature of BPM 11.1.1.5 FP4 after going through a few articles on the web.
But I got confused when after visiting below provided url :
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bpm/learnmore/488809
Please see the statement "*In earlier releases, to use Activity Guide you had to perform some manual steps to create the Activity Guide Player inside Oracle BPM Suite – BPM Workspace.*" under "Enhancements to Activity Guide within BPM Workspace" section in the document presnt in the above mentioned url.
I couldn't find any manual steps which can bring the Activity Guide Player in the workspace anyways and your reply confirms that.
Thanks,

AjayHi,
1)
I would suggest declaring a structure of type BAPE_VBAP & BAPE_VBEP...Then move the values instead of using offset..
Example
DATA: S_BAPE_VBAP TYPE BAPE_VBAP.
Populate the Extension structure WITH Order commited flag
LW_EXT_STRUCTURE-STRUCTURE = C_BAPE_VBAP.
S_BAPE_VBAP-VBELN = W_VBAP-VBELN.
S_BAPE_VBAP-POSNR = W_VBAP-POSNR.
S_BAPE_VBAP-ZZORDCOFL = W_VBAP-ZZ_ORDCOFL.
LW_EXT_STRUCTURE-VALUEPART1 = S_BAPE_VBAP.
This will make sure the BAPE_VBAP is extended with the Z fields..
2)
You are checking only for abort messages...You are not checking for error messages..
Instead of this..
READ TO CHECK THE ERROR AND ABORT MESSAGES DURING BAPI CALL
READ TABLE LT_RETURN_TAB INTO LW_RETURN_TAB
WITH KEY TYPE = C_MSGTYP_A
BINARY SEARCH.
Have this code..
LOOP AT LT_RETURN_TAB WHERE TYPE = 'E' OR TYPE = 'A'.
EXIT.
ENDLOOP.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
WRITE: / 'ERROR'.
ELSE.
WRITE: / 'SUCCESS'.
ENDIF.
This will make sure there are no error messages..Also check the return table for error messages in the debugging mode..
Thanks,

Java Embedding BPEL activity connecting to UCM Stellent
Hi..
Im trying to connect UCM (Stellent) through Java embedding BPEL activity. The code as shown below.
****java embed in BPEL*******
SearchImpl searcont = new SearchImpl();
Element ssn = (Element)getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/client:BPELContentProcessRequest/client:input");
int resultlen = searcont.StellentImpl(ssn.getFirstChild().getNodeValue());
addAuditTrailEntry("Result Count is : " + resultlen);
System.out.println("Executing SearchImpl in BPEL: result count is: " + resultlen);
setVariableData("outputVariable", "payload","/client:BPELContentProcessResponse/client:result", new Integer(resultlen));
****java embed in BPEL*******
We are using SOAP wsdls of Stellent to get content information. As such here we are using Search.wsdl and converted to web proxies and thereby import them in Java codes.
When we deploy the BPEL process in SOA server we get the follwoing error in the Audit trail.

Suggestion: Invert shading that reflects active document tab
It's a pretty minor thing, but I'd suggest flipping how you distinguish between the active document tab vs the inactive ones when using the dark interface. I can get the logic of having the brightest tab representing the one you're actually working on, but for some reason I keep clicking the wrong tab when I want to switch between documents - it took me a little bit to work out why: you represent the active tool by shading it darker and recessing it slightly, so it should make sense that the active tab is also the one that is darker and appears recessed, otherwise I'm trying to hold two representations of status in my mind that are exactly oposite to each other, yet located very close to each other on the screen. And unless I'm very precisely caffeinated, I'm just not equipped to deal with that sort of contradiction.
Contact Sheet is a welcome return. So many features can be adapted. I made this a few years ago by sizing up 40 images, and turning off titles, and ‘Flatten Layers’ when making the contact sheet. It was then fairly simple to FT each layer to give some overlap, and use Layer masks for creative affect.
It was eventually incorperated into a poster for the organisation running the event.
Some interesting JDIs (thanks so much for the typed list!).
The Eye dropper changes appeal to me, and Ctrl J now working on Groups is very welcome. Lots more there, but what worries me is that there are apparently twice as many new JDIs in CS6 as there were in CS5, which makes me think I must be missing a lot of the CS5 JDIs. is there a list somewhere? -
How to find Active Dynamic tab (disclosed) UIComponent?
Hi all,
I newbie to Fusion App. extension, preparing a separate application to integrate. My application consist of multiple taskflows and will be opened as seaparate tabs (uses the default UIShell) template. As a part of my application, I may require to do some coding in managed bean to refresh UI components resides inside my page. To make it happen, I need to find the Acitve tab first (i.e. the one that is disclosed).
Question:
Does fusion app provides any API or util (say DynamicTabUtil.findComponent(String pComponentId) -- suppose to search component not from view root but the Active tab) to find the current Active dynamic tab component? If so, please let me know the documentation link. If not, is there any way to get this done. (To get this done, I should aware of the standard oracle uses in generating ids for Dynamic tab).
Thanks in Advance.
RaguSorry for the delay in response.
Jdeveloper version is 11.1.1.6.3, working for Fusion HCM, have to create an extension project to accomodate some additional functionalities.
Explanation:
Application is based on UIShell template, can open task-flows under dynamic tabs. Same screen (i.e. same task-flow id) can be opened multiple times since every task flow has its own transaction. As a part of functionality, I require some coding to be done in managed bean to access some UIcomponent and refresh it. Since same screen can be opened under multiple dynamic tabs, I should not start searching the required screen level UIcomponent from root, instead I need to find the Active Dynamic tab component first (i.e. currently disclosed dynamic tab) and then my screen component.
Scneario:
Assume Screen A has an SSN input text fidl with id 'ssnFldId'.
1. User opens Screen A under a dynamic tab (it becomes first tab)
2. User opens Screen A again under a new dynamic tab (it becomes second tab and Active)
3. Based on the screen functionality, UIComponent of SSN field belongs to the second tab needs to be accessed. I know I cannot start searching for this component from root but to pick the correct dynamic tab first, followed by this component.
Question:
1. Is there any direct API available (say DynamicTabUtil::getActiveTab()) that returns the dynamic tab UIComponent.
2. If not, how to find it?
When I was working ADF Application development using Dynamic Tabs, I was able to access the initial version of Dynamic tab source (4 yrs back), customized for our need, worked with that source, hence I knew how the id gets generated for tab, was able to work with that, don't know how it is in Fusin Apps. Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks,

Costing varient/Activity types tab
hello gurus,
in costing variant/activity types tab my strategy sequence is 1.plan price for the period and 2.actual price for the period.here my question is from where the system will pickup these prices.please explain this
thanks
rihanaHi Samaar,
Based on this configuration, system will read the Planned Price or Actual Price of the Activity Types maintained in the recipe.
You can see these Planned Prices & Actual Prices of the Activity Types using T-Code # KSBT

How to see data in BAM from sensor on BPEL activity?
Hello, I 'am working with BPEL on Jdeveloper (last version).
I have putted sensors on some activity of my process. On an other machine I have putted the BAM server (last version) which is ON and I have the BAM connection on Jdevlepper. Now I try to see data on BAM from sensor but I can't.
Can someone explain me how to do?
(I just can build some data just like in a data base with BAM architect but I can't read and put to graphics the ones from the sensors)
Thank's much
JAckHello,
To answer your question, I have install BAM on the same machine where BPEL server is running.
Now I steel can't get sensor's data from BPEL:
With BAM architect I can build data, with BAM studio I can use that data to design graphics but when I try to feed data from BPEL it doesn't work because I just can't press the OK button!!
In BPEL : When I try to Create BAM sensor action (from structure panel), I can't generate the xsl map file no action is done when pressing OK, create mapping or edit mapping button! -
Obtaining BPEL activity duration instead of timestamp
Hi,
I've created activity sensors relevant to the scopes in the BPEL process. The evaluation time is set to 'All'. The attached sensor action publishes instanceId and the activity duration obtained from the XPath expression 'actionData/payload/activityData/duration'. This doesn't seem to be upserting any data to the Dataobject.
Related to this, I'd like to know if the evaluation time property should be changed from 'All' to 'Completion' since I've noticed this in the FAQs for quite some time. I've got another query regarding the usage of the duration node. Will the duration node suffice, or should I go back to using the timestamp value and then calculating duration from the timestamps ?
Regards,
Vineet
PS: I'm running BAM 10.1.3 and BPEL Server 10.1.3Well, that's what I do at the moment. I had a feeling that this might have been rectified, since this could result in an accidental increase in the number of fields in the data object. Adding the nature of production data to be highly de-normalized, I wonder whether this might be a good thing at all.

Display community pages under active community tab in left vert nav
Hi, I'm trying to display the community pages in an "active" Comunity under the given Community tab in left vertical nav. I simply need to find out how I can access the community id from the HTMLAnchor so I can compare this community id to commP.GetCurCommunityID(). I tried calling url.GetAccessKey() and url.GetID(), these do not get current community id - both throw a NumberFormatException when I try Integer.parseInt on the String (because they return null).
This is the CListURLMediator I am looping through:
while(mediator.Next())
HTMLAnchor url = (HTMLAnchor) mediator.GetEntry();
AddBgImageListRow(table, url);
// TODO: add page links under ACTIVE community link
/*if (NavPageType.COMMUNITY == m_model.GetCurNavPageType())
CommunityNavPage commP = (CommunityNavPage) m_model.GetPageSpecificMethods();
//url.GetAccessKey() or url.GetID() do not get current community id - both throw NumberFormatException
if (commP.GetCurCommunityID() == Integer.parseInt(url.GetAccessKey()))
CypressWriteCommPagesTable(table, col, commP);
Any ideas?
Thanks, VictorThe mediators will only give you pre-built constructs with the URL. But, you can use the ICPListEntryIterator object to enumerate over it in the same way you iterate over a mediator. ICPListEntryIterator.GetEntry returns a ListEntry class, which has a GetCommunityID method.

How to determine active ribbon tab?
My addin ribbon has a few controls which show live database values. To avoid frequent updates I need to determine if my addin ribbon tab (created via Ribbon XML) is active or not. Example: I subscribe to the SelectionChange event in Outlook Explorer and
if my tab is active, actual data will be inquired from the DB. If my tab is not active, no DB inquiry should be performed.
How can I do this? I did not find any event I could subscribe to.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
MarkusHello Markus,
The Fluent UI (aka Ribbon UI) doesn't provide anything for that. But you can use the
GetVisibleMso method of the CommandBars class for checking whether a built-in controls is visible or not. You just need to pass the idMso value of the control to the method, see
Office 2013 Help Files: Office Fluent User Interface Control Identifiers . But the best way to get the job done is to use callbacks in your custom UI markup. For example, the getVisible callback is invoked when controls are going to be shown on the
ribbon (your tab is active). Thus, you will always know your tab is visible.
C#: bool GetVisible(IRibbonControl control)
VBA: Sub GetVisible(control As IRibbonControl, ByRef visible)
C++: HRESULT GetVisible([in] IRibbonControl *pControl, [out, retval] VARIANT_BOOL *pvarfVisible)
Visual Basic: Function GetVisible(control As IRibbonControl) As Boolean
