BPEL wsdl customisation throwing Error -- Bug?
Hi guys,
I observed something strange in BPEL's behaviour.
I made a synchronous HelloWorld/Echo service, accepting default schema. the BPEL wsdl is create with default "process" operation and "payload" message part.
I changed the wsdl to reflect operation as "CustomMethod" and message part to be "random" and made relevant changes in BPEL as well . On redeplying, i am unable to invoke from console. It's giving me error:
The following exception occured while processing this request:
Failed get operation definition.
Failed to get the WSDL operation definition of "CustomMethod" in portType "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorldBPEL}HelloWorldBPEL".
Please verify that operation "CustomMethod" is defined in portType "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorldBPEL}HelloWorldBPEL".
Am i missing something or is this a probable bug ?
Did you tried undeploying the old helloworld and redeploy the new one.
Sometimes this occures overhere because of old wsdl cache

Hi,
In SOA 10.1.3.4 BPEL process , i have a asynchronous process which Invokes a Partnerlink and waits in the Recieve Activity. The OnAlarm branch set here waits for 2 hrs, after which the scope throws that Global fault.
I have observed that for some instances, the OnAlarm Branch does not throw error even after about 24 hrs ( though the OnAlarm is set to 2 hrs )
Is this a prodcut defect or something to do with thread level issues ?
Thanks & Regards,
Md Yaqoob.
Edited by: Sam9999 on Oct 6, 2010 5:33 PMHi,
We did not talk to Oracle last week, but hope to do so this week via web conference. According to Oracle support, the version and patch level we are on should not have the problem we are encountering. Both the Oracle constant and support have been unable to replicate the error when they attempt to recreate our setup on their own servers.
We can produce this issue 100% of the time, on a server with no load at all. it is a brand new environment for development use to which we have deployed the latest versions of our flows. I have deployed a simple flow containing just a Wait 15 minutes, and any instances in flight when I restart BPEL do not wake-up on time. Very occassionally, instances that previously failed to wake after a restart do wake after subsequent restarts, but that is not 100% of the time.
Hope to conference with Oracle on Wednesday.

Bug: BLZ-123-Attempting to use a channel that doesn't support messaging (AMFChannel/AMFEndpoint withtout polling enabled) should throw error
QA: Yes
Doc: No
Details: Added logic in Consumer such that when the Consumer is connected over a non-realtime channel (i.e. non-polling and non-streaming channel), a warning is logged to let the user know that channel is not going to automatically receive updates via client poll or server push. We can't really throw an error here because one might want to disable channel polling and manually send poll requests when needed and this is a valid configuration as well.

flex/sdk/trunk/frameworks/projects/spark/src/spark/layouts/BasicLayout.asThis bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.

We are also trying to invoke a BPEL process from Siebel and have read your advice in this thread.
We can successful consume a Synchronous HelloWorld process from Siebel, but it is failing with consuming an Asynchronous HelloWorld from Siebel.
This is a production project and while we are not concerned about callbacks with Siebel, it is not feasible to accept synchronous communications for this BPEL process as we cannot have Siebel waiting on completion - (HelloWorld is a cutdown use case produced to debug the issues we had with our real WSDL).
Do you have any advice on how we can bridge the issues and produce an asynchronous process that can be consumed by Siebel ? Is this an issue with WSDL conformity - we are using Siebel 7.7? Is there an issue with regard to the way Siebel and Oracle PM handle WS-Addressing ?

Cheers
SimonDave had given you already some good advice.
Your code is not only too complicated, but you have also probably a bug in it. You have for instance a QNstart as to_date('01.01, 'dd.mm') and a corresponding QNfinish as to_date('31.03', 'dd.mm'). As this means, it is the time portion at 00:01, you are missing the complete last day of this interval. So you better do:
declare
l_QNstart date;
l_Q1start date;
l_Q1finish date;
l_q1t number
begin
l_QNstart := trunc(sysdate, 'Q');
l_Q1start := add_months(l_QNstart, -3);
l_Q1finish := l_QNstart;
-- your condition is now
select count(count(*))
into l_q1t
from ff_actions f, ff_action_type_lov a
where f.date_entered >= l_Q1start and f.date_entered < l_Q1finish
and a.action_score = 'y'
and f.input_type = a.action_name
group by f.company_name;
end;

When i test the acess using OWSM console or try and consume it on JDeveloper I get the following error:
java.io.IOException: The document 'http://dcmsinusapp02.dc.local:7780/gateway/services/WR01.xsd' contains HTML tags.
Reason is:
404 Not Found
OracleJSP: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
Set the init-param debug_mode to "true" to see the complete exception message
This file not found exception is related to /gateway/services/WR01.xsd of course.
I've mostly followed the OWSM documentation in order to register the service.
Am I doing anything wrong referencing xsd's or something similar?
Thanks in advanceAnswer to my own question:
BPEL processes exposed via OWSM can't be used from JDEV ws proxy generator
But the real question is: how do I prevent relative paths to xsd's on bpel wsdl?
Any pointers?
Thanks -
Excel is throwing error when it click print : 'No printers are installed. To install a printer click the File tab, and then click Print. Click No Printers Installed, and then click Add Printer. Follow the instructions in the Add Printer dialog box'
Word, and powerpoint application are working fine.
Environment : Windows 7 64-bit, MS Office 2013 64-bit
Steps to recreate
(i) Create new user account and add to any group ( do not log on using this
account)
(ii) runas /user:<new user account> <fullpath>\excel.exe
it will ask password so enter on command prompt
(iii) open any excel document and click File->Print
(iv) verify result (it is failing) it pop ups below error
Error:`Microsoft Excel
No printers are installed. To install a printer click the File tab, and then click
Print. Click No Printers Installed, and then click Add Printer. Follow the
instructions in the Add Printer dialog box.Sorry for late reply i was not at work
I have a default set excel is still throwing error. Interestingly winword , powerpoint and publisher are working fine. I am able to print from all office applications except Excel.
Probably excel behaves differently from other office applications.
Probably it is a bug in excel
Workaround : Log on to a system once using newly created account then runas excel using this account then print works fine.
It means something in user profile should be configure to run excel print operation. Could you please somebody help what I need to configure in user profile that makes print operation success? -
I've been having a particularly annoying error with ColdFusion 11, and unable to track down the source of this problem.
Basically There are a few variables defined in the session scope we check with isdefined a few lines above to make sure they are defined. Subsequent lines may or may not throw a #variablename# is undefined on random lines.
What can I do to fix this issue? Is this a known bug?I am doing isDefined checks for relevant variables when neccessary. The problem is not that the code errors out undefined ... it's that the variable is actually defined and errors out undefined.
As a simplified example;
Login.cfm Form supplies form.username and form.password to login_action.cfm then redirects to index.cfm after succesful LDAP authentication. I will not include all lines as it would be too long.
Login_action.cfm

in the wwwroot the Application.cfm handles all errors generated during rendering of the page, which includes generating a cfdump of the session scope.

What is causing this strange and irratic behaviour? The problem is so far I cannot replicate the issue. It is intermittant. The issue only started after upgrading to ColdFusion 11. This code has worked flawlessly for years on CF8. -
[Windows] file.url throw error when application executable in root directory
Here is the bugbase ticked: Bug#3940278 - [Windows] file.url throw error when application executable in root directory
If you launch AIR application packaged as bundle from root directory and try to get url property of any file you get IllegalOperationError.
No matter what file url property you try to get.
It's a big problem when you distribute your application on CD disks or flash drive.
I'd like to ask everyone affected by this issue to take a minute and vote for the following bug.
Thanks.I checked all deployment descriptions and there are no references to t3://localhost:7001. Few months back, I had the complete clustering setup working on 2 machines and now when I deploy my application on same configuration, it fails with t3://localhost:7001 unreachable error. I created a new cluster configuration on one machine with 2 managed server and it deploys fine. Can not figure out what has changed ?

Hi BI Experts,
I have an issue in the report output. The query is giving the data but the report is not showing the same.
when nonexisting values are given, report is throwing ERROR instead of giving blank page. Client is expecting blank page or dummy page with tables or headings etc but not the error message.
Please suggest a solution for this.
Let me know if anybody needs any other information regarding this.
Thanks in advance.you need to use no data found logic in order to get blank or any message saying no data found for that selected value.
check this link

send me your sample xml having data and no data and template i can try at my side. email: [email protected]
