BPM Attachment server URL is always 127.0.0.1

Hi,
my name is Dmitry and my issue is the foolowing: I have a huge BPM application (BPM Suite 11g, Weblogic 10.3.6) with customized ADF forms. Each form has attachments tab which has standard attachment implementation taken from auto-generated form. The problem is that attachments can be opened only from the machine with weblogic server where the applciation is deployed since the attachment URL always points to 127.0.0.1. The URL is completely correct and can be opened from other machines when 127.0.0.1 is manually changed in the address bar to the DNS name of the server. But from the very application it cannot be opened from other machines where there's no weblogic.
Other URLs like tabs URLs on the form, application URLs - they all have a correct DNS name of the server and can be opened from anywhere.
The attachment URL is always the following.
http://127.0.0.1:7001/integration/services/ADFAttachmentHelper?bpmWorklistContext=db14d66c-7bc6-4054-8167-af89127112da%3B%3BJ9Y5pEfNJd5bAA8g8s%2Fyco%2BSfTTXR%2Bge9MbLO0ZZ39fxqZzNGk8001qXFBmCop2JQVvhD0yCSD68DLiLXotjOs0J6n8u%2FmpY1q98EsK076MrNdQCIZF767IKPuD3kRViY73%2FXXEbKU5YS13636eV6rNUapYFqUyrl4OWuKukinlrQ84fv6NfAPxADpnHD9CBanaoR2P9jDk826%2B%2BPixHI7fuIvtfTI5%2BS7dWdBpDvYKHROqjdgRrBJGIvJVwfsjn&bpmWorklistTaskId=b4e4a8f2-286e-42ca-b208-93e721a1a02a&QueryAttachment=QueryAttachment&WFTASK_ATTACHMENT_NAME=Writing.doc&bpmWorklistTaskVersion=1&cid=b4e4a8f2-286e-42ca-b208-93e721a1a02a
And I need it to be
http://my_server_name:7001/integration/services/ADFAttachmentHelper?bpmWorklistContext=db14d66c-7bc6-4054-8167-af89127112da%3B%3BJ9Y5pEfNJd5bAA8g8s%2Fyco%2BSfTTXR%2Bge9MbLO0ZZ39fxqZzNGk8001qXFBmCop2JQVvhD0yCSD68DLiLXotjOs0J6n8u%2FmpY1q98EsK076MrNdQCIZF767IKPuD3kRViY73%2FXXEbKU5YS13636eV6rNUapYFqUyrl4OWuKukinlrQ84fv6NfAPxADpnHD9CBanaoR2P9jDk826%2B%2BPixHI7fuIvtfTI5%2BS7dWdBpDvYKHROqjdgRrBJGIvJVwfsjn&bpmWorklistTaskId=b4e4a8f2-286e-42ca-b208-93e721a1a02a&QueryAttachment=QueryAttachment&WFTASK_ATTACHMENT_NAME=Writing.doc&bpmWorklistTaskVersion=1&cid=b4e4a8f2-286e-42ca-b208-93e721a1a02a
I have even configure UCM integration but the attachment put into the UCM in the attachments table still have the 127.0.0.1 URL.
I guess this is configuration issue. Does anyone have any idea how it can be fixed? It's critical.
Thanks a lot,

Hi Dmitry,
Take a look at these two threads to see if they might help with your UCM issue:

  • Attaching local URL via WS 2.0 returns SBL-DBC-00111 and SBL-EAI-04375

    I can create attachments using Insert in WS 2.0. Now I need to create an attachment as URL to a local server, in the form User Guide suggests: as \\scdept\attachments\products.xls and I also know that I can do it via OD GUI.
    But any attempt to do it via WS returns this error:
    *Method 'WriteRecord' of business component 'Opportunity Attachment' (integration component 'Opportunity_Opportunity Attachment') for record with search specification '[Id] = "AIHA-HBX3A"' returned the following error:"An error has occurred writing to a record.*
    *Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DBC-00111)"(SBL-EAI-04375)*
    The SOAP call is this:
    SOAP action is: document/urn:crmondemand/ws/ecbs/opportunity/:OpportunityInsert
    SOAP body is: *<soap:Body><OpportunityInsert_Input xmlns="urn:crmondemand/ws/ecbs/opportunity/"><ListOfOpportunity recordcount="1" xmlns="urn:/crmondemand/xml/Opportunity/Data"><Opportunity><Id>AIHA-GVS1O</Id><OpportunityName>AIHA-GVS1O</OpportunityName><ListOfAttachment lastpage="true" recordcount="1"><Attachment><OpportunityId>AIHA-GVS1O</OpportunityId><DisplayFileName>AIHA-GVS1O_Form</DisplayFileName><FileNameOrURL>//backup/Shared/customers/AIHA-GVS1O_Form.txt</FileNameOrURL></Attachment></ListOfAttachment></Opportunity></ListOfOpportunity></OpportunityInsert_Input></soap:Body>*
    I tried removing parent ID ( OpportunityId ), I tried adding +<FileExtension>URL</FileExtension>+, I tried specifying URL as file://backup/Shared/customers/AIHA-GVS1O_Form.txt, ... The same error is always returned.
    Do I have to revert to WS 1.0? Does it work there?
    Are file URLs supported at all with WS (as opposed to HTTP and FTP)?

    I saw this message recently in some testing, but only see it intermittently in one environment - did you ever resolve this issue?

  • "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct". Performance Point Dashboard Designer (SP 2013), SSRS 2012 Report.

    Hello Everybody,
    I am using Sharepoint server 2013 , SQL Server 2012 SP1, PerfomancePoint and Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode.
    I built one report in SSDTusing an Analysis Services Cube. This report has 3 parameters. So the idea is use Dashboard Designer to use this SSRS Report and connect it with some PP Filters.
    The issue is that I am always obtaining "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
    I have the following settings in the PP Report:
    Server Mode: SharePoint Integrated
    SharePoint Site: http://MySharrepointSite:PortNumber/sites/bicenter
    Document library : Documents (selected from drop down, my report is deployed to document library)
    Report : report.rdl
    When I select the report from drop down list its giving the error in a pop up message box as "Unable
    to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
    I have tried to use the most simple report, only with one parameter, but is always displaying the error above.
    When I open the report directly from documents library its working fine and even it is working fine (
    when I deployed the report) but the issue is parameters are not showing.
    Any idea? Please help.
    Thanks in Advance.

    "Unable to connect to the server at CALYSTO\ReportService.
    Hello Tom,
    It should be "ReportServer" in the URL, not "ReportService".
    In "Reporting Service Configuration Manager" look up the correct URL. Open Internet Explorer with right-mouse click => "Run as Administrator" and open the URL, this should work. Navigate to "Side setting" (on top right side),
    go to tab "Security" and add your account with role "System Administrator". Afterwards you should be able to open the URL without running IE as admin.

  • How do I remove a url from "Always view this page in IE"

    How do I remove a URL from "Always view this page in IE"?

    After the new server is added to the cluster and the AG, remove the old one by first
    ALTER AVAILABILITY GROUP [YourAG]
    REMOVE REPLICA ON N'OldServer';
    Remove a Secondary Replica from an Availability Group
    Then evict the old server from the cluster with the cluster administrator or
    Remove-ClusterNode OldServer
    Remember to verify the quorum configuration after adding the new server and removing the old server.

  • 11g  Server URL

    I have an 11g installation, using virtual hostnames/IP addresses for the soa servers as instructed in the EDG.
    The Server and Callback URLs are set to the virtual hostname, as is the listen address for the soa server, but when I launch an application from the BPM worklist the URL is set to the computer name - not the virtual host that I specify.
    Anyone else come across this, or experienced something contrary to this?

    Hi,
    I had the exact same problem.
    To solve the problem, I made sure that the RPD password was correct. I had typed this incorrectly (probably with Caps Lock on) when putting in the SampleApp RPD.
    You can modify this password by going to the FM Enterprise Manager:
    http://<server>:7001/em/
    - After logging on, go to Farm_bifoundation_domain / Business Intelligence in the tree on the left
    - Select coreapplication
    - On the right, select the "Deployment" tab, and the "Repository" subtab
    - Click Lock & Edit Configuration button
    - Change the repository password, make sure it is correct - I did this by typing the password in a notepad file, and to check it I opened the RPD file in offline mode in the administration tool, and then copy/pasted the password in. If the RPD file opens without problems in the AdminTool, then copy/paste the password into the two fields in the Enterprise Manager.
    - Click Apply and then the Activate Changes button
    - Now you need to restart the services. Click the link "Restart to apply recent changes". This will take you to the "coreapplication" - Overview tab, where you can click on the blue "Restart" button to restart the services.
    After restarting it worked fine for me.
    Hope this helps!

  • Attaching a URL which does not start with HTTP / HTTPS in SAP TM

    Dear Experts,
    I am trying to insert a new URL to a Attachments table in FWO / FRB application.
    My URL neither start with HTTP  nor HTTPS (Ex: Z3://searchsmartstart...). while I am trying to insert such URL, I am getting an error message 'URL not valid.Check if the URL contains the protocol (HTTP/HTTPS). Message ID - /SCMTMS/UI_MESSAGES and message number 088.
    After some analysis, I have understood that WebDynpro ABAP framework does not accept such URL.
    Could you please guide, is there any other way of doing it? The URL which I am trying to access is of SMART CLIENT.
    Thanks in advance for your reply.
    Thanks,
    Bharath.K

    Hi Bharath,
    Yes, you can achieve the same via URL redirection. Please follow the below steps.
    1.Create a service in SICF e.g. sap/bc/redirect_z3 in your SAP TM system and follow following steps.
    2. Create a class with interface IF_HTTP_EXTENSION e.g. ZCL_REDIRECT_URL
    3. Maintain  class created in step 2 into the Handler List of the service created in step 1.
    4. In class ZCL_REDIRECT_URL Method IF_HTTP_EXTENSION~HANDLE_REQUEST write below code
                        Data: lv_target type string.
                           lv_target = 'Z3://searchsmartstart.......'
                          server->response->redirect( url = lv_target ).
    5. You can also read the parameter from the source URL with below program code
    CALL METHOD server->request->get_form_data
        EXPORTING
          name = 'PAR1'
        CHANGING
          data = lv_par1.
    6. Now attach the URL of your service created in step 1(Which will be http/https URL) to Attachments table in FWO / FRB application with parameter you want.
    Now once you click this URL , Mehtod IF_HTTP_EXTENSION~HANDLE_REQUEST in Handler list class will execute here you can read the parameter as mentioned above and form a target URL and redirect to you intended target .

I have created some tables with data, and want now to connect from a Visual Basic 6.0 Application to the database with ADODB...but what is the server url then? I've tried jsut "Localhost" and "http://localhost", etc but that doens't seem to be the way...

    Please help, thank ya!

    I think you might be running into Flash Security Issue. Do following steps:
    Open your client .swf or .html in Flash Player(or your browser) from another computer. Right click on .swf , it should give you pop up menu with options like Settings and Global Settings. Click on Global Settings. It will take you to page on web : http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html. You will few links :- Click on What are security settings?. Then click on Global Security Settings panel link which would be there on the page.
    It will show up Dialog box: Do following steps
    Click on Always Allow and then click on Edit Locations drop down. Click on Add Location. Browse for your client file or  add the folder where you have your client .swf or .html or you can add whole drive for now say C:\.
    Now close the page.
    Close the .swf or .html file which you are using as client.
    Open it back now and put IP of FMS server like mentioned in previous posts like :- rtmp://x.y.z.w/vod
    To answer to what you asked : IP of FMS is same as IP of of the computer where your FMS is.

  • Internet Explorer, Proxy Server is not Responding 127.0.0.1:49182

    I own an HP Windows 8 Series 2000 Laptop. I recently was having problems with accessing my Netflix. I kept getting a message staying unable to connect, however, I was able to browse the internet and view media on other sites like YouTube and Crackle. When trying to find resolutions for this issue online, I kept getting alerts to download Java and Download Manager 2. I downloaded these two applications, but they created an extreme lag in my laptops performance. Due to this issue I uninstalled the applications. There was an issue with removing the Download Manager, but it seems to be removed.
    Now, when I try to access the internet I keep getting a error message staying the proxy server is not responding 127.0.0.1:49182. I have tried disabling my proxy several times, but the change never stays. It always reverts back to manual with that same number listed.
    How do I fix this?

    Which program(s) have you recently installed?  Most likely a new program you've installed is causing this to happen OR you've managed to get a virus/malware infection which is causing this issue.  Either way, perform method 2 below and see if the issue is resolved.  Method 1:I suggest you to disable proxy settings. Follow these steps:Wired and wireless network connection problems in Windowshttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-windows Method 2: I would also suggest you to go through the steps and check.      a) Under "Tools" in the browser tool bar select "Internet Options".     b) In the "Internet Options" Window that pops up, click the "Connections" tab at the top.     c) Click "LAN Settings" near the bottom of the "Connections" section.     d) If the "Proxy server" checkbox is marked with a check, click it to deselect/uncheck it.     e) Click "Ok" to close the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" window.     f) Click "Ok" to close the "Internet Options" Window.

  • Using an XML file for server URL instead of hard coding

    I can't find a good example.
    Could someone give me an example of using a local XML file to set a server url variable so i don't have to hard code url's?
    This works and i can trace the xml file but how do i access the individual xml data nodes?
    protected function initApp():void
         var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader(new URLRequest("config.xml"));
         loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,configLoadComplete);
    private function configLoadComplete(event:Event):void
         trace(event.target.data);

    Hi,
    <a href="foobar.xml">right click and select save as from the context menu</a>
    or
    write your xml data or a copy of it with a different extension (text) so that it is not parsed as application/xml-xhtml
    or
    Use AJAX to retrieve the xml file and display it as the textContent of a <textarea>
    window.open wraps the xml markup in html tags for display purposes.

  • Report Server URL field no longer visible in Dashboard Designer after applying SP1 and the October 2011 CU

    Environment: 1 WFE on W2K8Ent x64 SP2 | 1 App Server on W2K8 Standard x64 SP2 | 1 Dedicated SQL Server 2008 R2
    SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition
    I recently applied SP1 and the October 2011 CU (Server updates, not foundation) on both the WFE and the App server and now I'm experiencing an issue with PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer in that when I want to deploy a new SSRS report, I no longer have
    the ability to indicate the report server url under the report settings section because it's missing.  I also do not have the ability to preview the report nor can I modify any of the settings like Zoom or Format as they're greyed out.
    I've been researching for several days now and cannot find anything to remedy my issue. I have reviewed the upgrade logs on both the WFE and App server ... I ran the product config wizard after applying the SP and the update ... Sharepoint is configured
    to use Windows Integrated Mode for the reporting services configuration via Central Admin.
    I noticed that the web config for my app was updated and compared that against a backup of the old web config and I mainly see diffs in version references for reporting services, etc.  (Ex. version 10 in the old, 11 in the new/updated config file).
    Anyone else out there have this same issue?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Chad

    Ultimately, I ended up installing SharePoint 2010 RTM on a separate system and then copied the folder with the PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer and put that on my PC at work.  If you open a PerformancePoint report inside SharePoint, it
    will default to the version of the update so be sure to open up the designer from wherever you store it on your PC.  You'll know if it's the right one anyways if the URL is missing.
    Also, once you've opened the RTM version, this will be the one that opens from the SharePoint shortcut via the Windows Start->All Programs->SharePoint Folder.

  • Trying to run the SOA/BPM managed server withOUT running the Admin server

    (This is for demo/development purposes... Using 11.1.1.4 in Windows 7 with 4gb)
    Because of memory constrains I am trying to run the BPM/workspaces application without needing the Admin to be running.
    When they both run, I can use the credentials I create with the Admin server but the response time is prohibitive and all my memory is used...
    It seems to run much faster when only the bpm managed server is running but then I cannot login ...
    So my question is simply: Whats the easiest way to set it up so I can use credentials elsewhere without requiring the admin server to be running?
    ( I could connect to an OID instance I have outside this server or the seeded demo they refer to in other posts ... but do these also require the admin server to be running???)

    I don't know if what you want is possible. Only did a suggestion that works fine for me. I'm running SOA Suite and BPM Suite 11.1.1.5 on WLS 10.3.5
    Configure a new WLS domain and see if the BPM Dev template is available in your version.
    I've tuned my startup script (setSOADomainEnv.cmd) as follows:
    set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS%
    set DEFAULT_MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m -Xmx1024m
    set PORT_MEM_ARGS=-Xms1536m -Xmx1536m
    if "%JAVA_VENDOR%" == "Oracle" goto OracleJVM
    set DEFAULT_MEM_ARGS=%DEFAULT_MEM_ARGS% -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
    set PORT_MEM_ARGS=%PORT_MEM_ARGS% -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
    Use visualvm that's available from your jdk/bin directory to monitor your jvm and optimize it accordingly

  • Error in Accessing the Report Server URL

    Hi All,
              I am trying to access the Report Server URL in PowerPivot.But facing below issue .Can any one help me how can I solve the issue
    Thanks,
    Sid

    Thanks, Quality Communication Provides Quality Work. http://siddiq-sharepoint2010.blogspot.in/ Siddiqali Mohammad .
    Hi siddiqali,
    According to the screenshot you posted above, the use account didn't have sufficient permission to open the report, please check the following prerequisites before you perform the action:
    You must use a report definition (.rdl) file as a data source. Importing from a report model is not supported.
    You must have permission to open the report under your Windows user account, and you must know the address of the report or the report server that hosts it. You can check your permissions by trying to open the report in a Web browser first.
    If the report opens, it confirms that you have sufficient permissions and the correct URL.
    Reporting Services must be version SQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012. Those versions include the data feed export feature that streams report data in the XML data feed format. You can identify the report server by the Export as Data Feed option
    that appears in the report toolbar when you open the report in browser:
    For detail information, please see:

    Take a look at data templates. You can use the "BeforeReportTrigger" option using a PL/Sql function to accomplish this. Look at the Report Designers guide for information about datatemplates.
