I got My iPhone 4s and restored using an Old Backup of my 3Gs
Out of the box the iPhone 4s started fine. I synced it without a problem refering to a previous backup of my iPhone 3Gs.
Network issues meant I did not use it as my primary phone for 4 days and phone still had my apps and old contacts.
When I finally got my new account active I backed up my 3Gs and 4s and proceeded to restore on my 4s overnight using my 3Gs data.
When I woke in the morning my 4s was stuck with an Apple Logo and a progress bar down the bottom with no movement and at 0.
iTunes recognises the 4s and shows me the breakup of data on my mobile but does not recognise any settings for Apps, Music, Photos.....etc.
In PC terms it is like it has loaded the operating System but has frozen trying to load settings.
In trying to restore to a 4s Backup it tells me that it fails because the mobile is Pass Code Locked.
I would like to go back to the state it was in when I got it. Out of the box!@jmt8603
I want to ensure you're able to restore the service to your iPhone 4s! First, let's try reprogramming the device by dialing *228 Option 1. Once the device completes the "over-the-air" programming, you should be able to successfully make and receive calls and data. Please let me know how this works out for you.

Date Breakup with Monday First Day of Week for Fortnight
Post Author: Guggu
CA Forum: Formula
Hi,
I am using a cross tab and I am trying to break up the data by the reporting periods we use, which is 2 weeks and is from Monday of Week 1 to Sunday of week 2.
I use the GROUP OPTIONS in Crystal report XI and tell it ot show FOR EACH TWO WEEKS but shows the dates with SUNDAY the first day of the week.
I had some BASIC SYNTAX which used to work in v8.5 and some times works for XI but not this time, so i would like to know if there is a better way to work this out as all my reports need to be done this way.
The BASIC SYNTAX i had was:
Dim ew1 As Date Dim rosterdate As Date Dim i As Number Dim fortnight As Date rosterdate = cdate({?StartDate}) + 70 ew1 = cdate({?StartDate}) ew1 = ew1 + 13 For i = 1 To 10
If rosterdate <= ew1 Then fortnight = ew1 formula = fortnight Exit For End If
ew1 = ew1 + 14Next i
But this is not working anymore.
Can someone please help.
Kindest Regards,
GeorgeI just realized that the .../CatalystScripts/Java_DatePicker.js was modified on April 1st, but not by me. Did you do that?
The weekdays were sorted by Monday to Sunday, but the number of the days were not right. So today it showed Tuesday the 6th of April (of course it should be Monday).
My client just contacted me, that they have a mess with the reservations, people did reservations with the wrong date
I already changed it to the previous version. I think, I will implement a jQuery-datepicker, the BC datepicker is not flexibel enough. -

Automated Report Generation fortnightly...
Dear SAP Guru's
We need to generate few Reports automatically and send the output in Excel format to few user's mailbox through job scheduling on fortnightly basis.
How could we choose the fortnight period in job scheduling and data selection period in Report?
for ex. Suppose the job is schedule on 1st feb, the report should fetch the data for the period 16th Jan to 31st Jan.
And the next time when executed on 15the feb it should fetch the data for the period 1st feb to 15th feb.
Kindly suggest.. how to go ahead with this requirement?
Thanks in advance...Hi Vikash,
For Data selection period, you need to make your selection screen variant in such a way that the date fields are populated dynamically. i.e. here it is 15 days increment(Fortnightly).
After entering your values in selection screen, and press save. Now you will be prompted to give a variant name. Goto the date field make it a dynamic .
Hope this helps you.

How to store the data coming from network analyser into a text or excel file
Hii everyone
I'm using Agilent 8719ET network analyser and wish to store the data coming from netowrk analyser into a text file/ excel file.
Presently I'm able to get the data on Labview graph using GPIB . Can anyone suggest how to go ahead after collect data sub vi. How can the data be stored into a file apart from showing on the graph?
Attached is the vi for kind consideration...
Looking for help
Regards
Rohit
Attachments:
Agilent 87XX Series Exceed Max Meas.vi 43 KBFirst let me say that your code really looks pretty good. The data handling could be made more efficient by calculating the number of datapoints that are going to be in the completed dataset and preallocating the entire array -- but depending upon your answer to my questions, the logic in the lower shift register may be going away - so we won't worry about that right now.
The thing I need to know before addressing the data storage question is: Each time you call "Collect and Display Data.vi", how many element are in the array? Are you reading single data points, or a group of data? (BTW: if the answer to that question is obvious based on the way the other VIs are setup, I don't have the drivers so I can't tell what the setup values are.) Second, how fast does the loop iterate? Are we talking msec per loop?, seconds? fortnights?
The issues here are two-fold: how much data? and how fast is it coming? The answer to these will tell you how to save the data.

Hebrew calendar date in template - Pages 5.2.2 OSX 10.9.4
Hello all!
I was wondering if there is a way to create a template with an automated Hebrew Calander date in the header or footer.
I am desperately trying to find a way to do it for the last fortnight. Every help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
AviI just read in another thread that when you change the system's primary language the hebrew templates are visible so it might be the same here. I didn't try it as I don't like my whole system to be in hebrew just so I can add the auto date in hebrew once in a while.

Source is Oralce. Destination is SQL Server.
Requirement - I have to fetch sql server server data (empid's) based emp table and send this as input data to oracle to fetch and empid's are common.
I cannot use merge or loopkup or for each as oracle have too many records.
For example - In MS SQL - i have empid=1,2..Only these records, I have to fetch from oracle source into sql server destination. For this, I have adopted the below approaches...The major problem I face, when i build a empid's as a string, it is taking only
4000 chars. My string lenght is 10000. How do I breakup this string lengh and send to data flow task till all broken strings length passed to DFT.
Approach-1
created two variables - oraquery string, empid string
step1 - ms sql database - created sql task - declare @empid varchar(max)
SELECT @empid=
Stuff((SELECT ',' + empid
FROM
(SELECT DISTINCT convert(varchar(10),empid ) empid FROM emp
) x
For XML PATH ('')),1,1,'')
select @empid = '(' + @empid + ')'
select @empid
resultset=singlerow
resultset=resultname=0; variablename=User::empid (empid is declared as string)
step2 - oracle database - created data flow task
created oledb source
I put this statemnt in oraquery expression - "select * from dept where dept in "
+ @[User::empid] + "
expression=true
[OLE DB Source [1]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E14.
An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle" Hresult: 0x80040E14 Description: "ORA-00936: missing expression".
Approach-2
created three variables - oraquery string, empid int, loop object--when I put int then it is automatically setting to 0
step1 - ms sql database - created sql task - SELECT DISTINCT convert(varchar(10),empid ) empid FROM emp
resultset=fullresult
resultset=resultname=0; variablename=User::loop
step2 - created a for each loop container
for loop editor - for each ado ennumerator
enumerator configuration - loop
variablemapping - variable=empid;index=0
step3 - oracle database - created data flow task (outside for each loop. If I put inside it is taking long time)
created oledb source
I put this statemnt in oraquery expression - "select * from dept where dept in "
+ @[User::empid] + "
expression=true
Data inserting in a destination table but empid=0.Sorry didnt understand if your step3 is outside loop how
@[User::empid] will get values for the empids from User::loop. The iteration happens inside loop so you
need to have a logic to form the delimited list inside using a script task or something and concatenating everything and storing to variable @[User::empid]
. Then only it will have full value used to be used in step3 query

How to get breakup of Supplier Liability A/c
Hi,
I am want to develop a report which gives breakup of Supplier Liability a/c.
Liability A/c: 01-00-00-12111-00
Supplier: abc
Invoice_number.................Invoice Date...................Invoice Amount................Remaining Amount
Sub-Total Supplier abc
Supplier: xyz
Invoice_number.................Invoice Date...................Invoice Amount................Remaining Amount
Sub-Total Supplier xyz
Report Total................................................................................................ xxxxxx
This report total should match with the Libaility a/c balance in the GL.
Regards/PrasanthHi Devashish,
WdContext.node<Your_node_name>().size() will give you the no: of rows.
This should be the node that is bound to the table's datasource property.
WdContext.node<Your_node_name>().get<node_name>ElementAt(index_value); will select the row at that particular index.
You can access an attribute of a particular row as
WdContext.node<Your_node_name>().get<node_name>ElementAt(index_value).get<attribute_name>();
Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Nibu.

I am trying to generate a list of the programs on all channels for a specific day showing the channel number, supplier, package, program name, rating code, and show time. This will be similar to a program guide, only not package specific. This is a date-driven report, therefore it should only display programs for a single date specified.
[code/]SELECT DISTINCT
S.PROGTIME AS "SHOWTIME",
S.PROGNAME AS "PROGRAM TITLE",
C.CHNUM AS "CHANNEL #",
SU.SUPNAME AS "SUPPLIER",
R.RATINGDESCRIPT AS "RATING"
FROM SCHEDULE S
CROSS JOIN CHANNELS C
CROSS JOIN SUPPLIERS SU
INNER JOIN PROGRAM P ON P.PROGNAME = S.PROGNAME
INNER JOIN CHANNEL_PACKAGE CP ON CP.CHID = S.CHID
INNER JOIN RATING R ON R.RATINGID = P.RATINGID
WHERE S.PROGTIME='18-DEC-10'
ORDER BY C.CHNUM
Which gives me an undesired resulT containg rows that put names of all channels with each channel number and ends up outputting 3016 rows which there should be only 29.
I don't know how to add my script file here since there is no option for an attachment.Ok here is my syntax I have been working on

Picture breakup when playing back recordings of HD...
As above really, only noticed this since the latest software change but my be coincidental.
I have recently had picture breakup when playing back reordings on BBC1HD and Ch4HD, when I watch the channels live there is no evidence of the breakup and if I check the signal strength on both channels I am getting Signal strength of 78% and quality of 100%
Anybody else experience this or have any suggestions for solutions please?
ThanksI think that is what he is saying Alex...
If you think about what I tested, the model seems pretty right... Delete the room, it does not delete the file from webdav... So, when the room is re-created, it will play back original content so looks like they are not storing room historical data, i.e. is there a recording, how long etc....
I think it is an great solution to be able to remove completed rooms and FMS pick the old room up from webdav on the fly. Seems the most logical option.
Nigel, I don't suppose there is any solution of sending the recording to Amazon S3 or other cloud resources rather than the webdav folder? I think, for those with thousands of recordings, storage could become an issue... I have looked at the possibility of mapping my box to the S3 bucket but then I am reteiving it to send it to you every time a file is requested which could cause bandwidth issues...
Maybe integrating some sort of API where when setting up the recording, we provide specifics (i.e. an authentication token), to allow the file to be placed there? Or maybe a slightly different approach would be to provide a cloud front url for picking up the files and the transfer could go on behind the scenes.... Also with the cloud front, distribution would be much quicker as the files could end up closer to the location of the FMS which in turn would create a richer experience with less waiting...
Anyway, maybe you can advise.
Thanks for your time.

Date Grouping by specific interval
Hi all,
I have a case where i need to build a query to count the dates and then group them by a specific interval, I mean the user may select a date range 1 year but group the result by 7 days, so the query must return counts of dates for every 7 days.
lets have the following table : (the real database store the date as long (date in milliseconds))
Date | SevEnum
1-Feb-2010 00:00:00 | 1
1-Feb-2010 15:00:00 | 1
2-Feb-2010 12:00:00 | 1
2-Feb-2010 14:00:00 | 1
3-Feb-2010 00:00:00 | 1
3-Feb-2010 06:00:00 | 1
The user can enter any interval he want, examples:
grouping by *1 year*
result must by :
Date | Count
2010 | 6
grouing by *1 day*
Date | Count
1-Feb-2010 | 2
2-Feb-2010 | 2
3-Feb-2010 | 2
grouing by *2 days*
Date | Count
1-Feb-2010 | 4
3-Feb-2010 | 2
the User can group the date by any time Unit (seconds, minutes, hours,days, week,months,years)
I can't using TRUNC() because, its just for specific unit (ex. just 1 day, not 2 days).
Is there any idea or logic to be general as possible, please advice.
thanks,

Edited by: user9183438 on Mar 9, 2010 3:21 AMYou can use TRUNC to truncate by day, month, hour, etc:
SQL> SELECT TRUNC(sysdate, 'mm')
2 FROM dual;
TRUNC(SYSDATE,'M
01/03/2010 00:00As for the other requirement - do the users really need to be able to group by "2 days"? Is it meaningful?
If so, then here's a method of doing what you're after (I've included various truncates just to give an idea of how the data may differ):
with dates as (select trunc(sysdate, 'mm') -10 + level dt
from dual
connect by level <= 40)
select dt,
trunc(dt, 'mm') by_month,
trunc(dt, 'iw') by_week,

Anyway, that should give you an idea of how you could do things. -
Hi All,
Am having two input parameter,
1. Period Start Date
2. Period End Date
Now i need to find out the difference for the following parameters between those two dates,
1. Monthly Difference (Number of months between two dates)
2. Quaterly Difference (Number of quaters between two dates --> i.e 3 months difference)
3. Weekly Difference (Number of weeks between two dates)
4. Fortnightly Difference (Number of 15 days difference between two dates)
Can anyone please help me out to achieve this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sakthi.Oracle has a MONTHS_BETWEEN function. So that answers your first question.
Everything else I would solve with arithmetic:
select start_date
, end_date
, months_between(start_date, end_date) as month_diff
, months_between(start_date, end_date)/3 as quarter_diff
, (end_date-start_date)/7 as week_diff
, (end_date-start_date)/15 as fortnight_diff
from your_tableThese will all return fractions, so you may want to use FLOOR() or TRUNC() to return only integers.
Cheers, APC
