Bringing a frame back to square?

Hi everyone, this problem I have in illustrator as well.
Sometimes I accidently put a turn on a text frame or box or shape.
Later when I discover it, no mater how carefull I am I cannot get it to go back totally square, its really frustrating. Because its not set at an angle, turning it to 0 degrees or 90 or what ever is still not square.
Hope that make sense. I want for instance the text frame to be dead square so the frame lines are dead straight!

I have no problem bringing a frame back to 0 degrees rotation. Waht version of ID are you using?
Three methods that work for me in CS6:
Select the frame and from the Control panel flyout menu choose Clear Transformations.
Select the frame and in the control panel set the angle field to 0 (it's just to the right of the Width field).
Select the frame and rotate as before in the other direction, and watch the smart guide indicator until it becomes a single line.

PSE did what you told it to do. Choose the Straighten and crop edges or fill edges options when you use the straighten tool if you want it to do more than just straighten the contents of the image. Many people prefer the plain straighten because they'd rather crop themselves than let PSE do it.

How to bring a disk back online on a T3B system

I have a disk that appears as offline (fru stat), I have reseat, rebooted the T3B but it stays offline (the disk's LED is green).
I've checked the documentation, googled for it, but I can't find a way to bring the disk back online.
Any ideas?

If the enable does not work, another trick is to pull the disk, wait for a few minutes until you get the warning message about the 30 minute time frame, then do a couple of fru stats and then put the disk back into the array.
Assuming the disk is part of a volume, what do you get from vol stat and that particular disk? If you are using disk 9 as the hot spare, has it taken over the offline disk as part of the volume?

I'm having contacts problems. I just updated my iPhone 4S iOS to 6.0.1. And after that, I started having Contacts problems. My contact list is disappearing automatically, and I have to Import SIM everytime, to bring the contacts back.

It all started after updating my software to iOS 6.0.1. Contact problems, disappearing automatically, and I have to IMPORT SIM everytime when it happens, to bring my contacts back. And this is happening more when I'm using Whatsapp application. Every two hours using Whatsapp, my contact list is dissapearing, I'm seeing only numbers. I thought it was an Whatsapp problem, but after that, when I go into my Phone's contact list, I can see nothing ! Empty ! So I guess it's a software problem or something. Please help. Thank you.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

So I formatted a brand new hard drive to MAC OS (Journal), I then could save on the hard drive. Not two days later Im back at square one, the program wont recognize the hard drive again.

So, hard to beleive, but I am having some trouble with Final Cut Pro X.
This last week I formatted a brand new hard drive to MAC OS (Journal),
so that I could save on that hard drive.
Well it went great.
I saved my project on there and copied a few others over as to free up space on my Laptop.
Then, not two days later Im back at square one,
the program wont recognize the hard drive.
It wont even open the events up off my hard drive,
as to jog the program into reqcognizing the scratch disk (which worked twice before).
What happened?
How do I get the program to re-recongize my newly formatted hard drive?

The name of the drive, or the name of some folders inside the drive, may fool FCP X into believing it is a camera.
Also, you should not use the drive for time machine backups.

When I try to update the shockwave player it asks for authorisation tick box then it says close fifefox which closes the whole thing down and back to square one, any help please

shockwave keeps crashing all the time so I tried to up date the shockwave player from the add on section. The problem here is that you have to tick the I agree box which then tells you firefox is in conflick and you have to close it down which takes you back to square one.

sounds like you broke the display when you dropped it. There's nothing we users here can do for you.
Since the iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage, you will have to pay to have your phone repaired or replaced. You can bring it into Apple for an out of warranty exchange in the country of purchase, or you can find a 3rd party iPhone repair store in your area.

the path is via 'My Documents' on win and of course the 8.0 would be 7.0 (or earlier) if that's the version you're on.

I am not quite sure what you want to achieve, but you can
select all tracks at once,
move the cursor to the measure where you want to cut your song
Press cmd-T to cut all tracks at the same position
select all regions in all tracks to the right of the cut and drag them one measure to the right
Alternately you might show the Master Track (Main menu; Track -> Show Master Track) and use the Master Volume automation curve to silence all tracks at once for exactly one measure.

No, I am using the crop function, and the directions say after I press done it will fill the frame, which worked a year ago. Now when using th Crop function, the black area stays black and the cropped video stays the same size. I even shared it to a Master file to see if it would process during sharing, but the black area remained black and the cropped video remained the same size. Still a bit frustrated.
