BT Infinity 2 ordered on the 18th of DECEMBER.

Hi,
I placed an order for a TV, Phone and Broadband package for BT Infinity 2 on the 18th of December in my area where you are accepting orders. The engineer was due out on the 6th of January, so I booked time off work.
I got a phonecall from the 'engineering' team the night before, saying the external work still hasn't been completed and that they will let me know when it has been. 
After mulitple calls to the Fibre to the premises team, and speaking to 4 different members of the team on a number of occasions, I find myself on the 3rd of January, no closer to knowing what is going on and when the external work will be completed.
This morning after being on hold for 35 minutes I was told by a member of the team that they are due an 'update' tomorrow, not that the work will have been completed, only that they will give me another update (they've told me this every week for the last 6 weeks) 
I have just spoken to the same team, as I was told in my original conversation they were going to send me through a log on and password for BT WiFI for me to use until the order is complete. Nothing was sent through for 5 hours, and that's why I called back. I have now just been informed that they are due an update by Friday, at the end of the week. In a matter of 5 hours it's gone from being told that I will get an update tomorrow, to getting an update at the end of the week. I still have no idea and neither do they, as to when the external work is to be completed.
I am this close to cancelling the whole order together. I was not even offered a temporary broadband solution until the work is completed - I have paid £171 to BT on the 18th of December and quite franky I'm exhausted at the amount of chasing I'm doing.
What is going on and why can somebody not advise me roughly when the external work will be done? It really is not good enough.
Please provide me with a solution or a completion date of the external work to be completed, otherwise I will have to go elsewhere. I am not prepared to wait until the end of another week. Please assist.

    Hi,
    Just trying to get some advice here about master socket and BT unwillingness to new customer.
    I placed online order 2 weeks ago for infinity 2 & land line, My landline has been inactive for about a year now. So think that my new landline was inactive for a year and being that the master socket was placed in a really bad place before I moved in I could get it moved being a new customer and the free connection fee.
    Engineer came out on jan 2 and told me he would need the master socket moved which he will arrange with BT, today I recieved a text saying I missed the engineer yesterday and another appointment has been made for 16th.
    I phoned them up told them the situation they just repied saying open reach dont mvoe master sockets and I would have to hire a electircian to move this for me....
    My point is why cant BT move the socket free of charge for a new customer ?? I canceled my order over the phone today I kinda regret doing it because well I had more faith in BT than other companies .

    If you want to try and reorder Inifinity I suggest you contact the mods on here first.  Can't really comment with regards to the move being FOC but as long as it isn't a big job most OR engineers will do it.  If it needs a new drop cable then humm?
    I don't know why you have said that the OP has been given bad advice, when I have already said that Openreach are the only ones who can move it, and should do when Infinity is installed. I've had it done when my Infinity was installed and I have done many installs where the master socket is moved when installing Infinity.

  • New Infinity 2 Order

    Hi Guys,
    Ive recently placed a new Infinity 2 order, porting from a TalkTalk ADSL service.
    When I placed the order I did not have my TalkTalk MAC code, however I received this on Sunday via email.
    When I go into the ordertracking page to input the MAC code, the web page does not recodnise the code (I never get past Step 1 of whats indicated to be a 2 step process)
    I called the 0800 number indicated on the BT welcome email, and gave the MAC code verbally to somone who spoke English as a second language.  He appeared to struggle with the MAC code input as well, and after several attempts announced there seemed to be a systems problem, but it had finally gone through.
    My issue is that when I look at the ordertracker today (48 hours after verbally being told the MAC code has been accepted) the order update still says that the MAC code is outstanding and no dates have been confirmed for installation.
    Is this a problem, or does the ordertracker status always lag behind the status on any internal BT system?

    So the plot thickens....
    Ive talked to a UK BT agent who checked the order progress, and they confirmed that the MAC code is still outstanding.
    I gave them the TalkTalk MAC code I was issued with, only to be told that its in the wrong format!
    The issued MAC has the following format: XXXX1234567/XX12X.
    However the BT portal is requesting the MAC in the following format: XXXX12345678/XX12X.  So my TalkTalk MAC code is one digit short.  BT asked me to go back to Talk Talk and request they check the MAC code issued is correct, which they have.
    They also said the MAC code digits can be between 7-9 digits long.
    I was also then told by Talk Talk that the MAC code for my current service is actually provided by BT themselves (I assume via Openreach?) as Im on a BT provided LLU service.  In addition, I cant request for another MAC code  until a full 30 days has elapsed from when the current one was issued.
    My Infinity 2 order is currently still unconfirmed, awaiting MAC code.
    Are there any BT moderators who can assist?  I seem to be caught in a Catch 22 loop between BT and Talk Talk, with BT themself not recodnising the MAC code that they apparently issued to Talk Talk!
    I just knew this would turn into a mare........

    I was talking to someone on another forum who said he thinks that Vision will be phased out and people moved over to youview.
    I asked him why he thinks that and he said that when he tried to order, the only option he was given was a youview box.
    So I thought I would try this myself. I went into MyBT and tried to add TV and he appears to be right. They only offered a youview box, there was no other option, unless I missed it.
    Are new sales youview only now?

In that case I think you will need to try and order it over the phone and make things very clear to the BT sales rep why you specifically need the BT Viision+ box (for receiving the BT Sport channels over Freeview). Assuming they are happy to do that then they should sell you the necessary viewing card for £10 as well.

    I think BT are just keen to move people off the Freeview premium channels onto Infinity, so don't encourage it on the web site. Infinity and Youview is meant to be the BT platform of the future.

  • Why can't I buy a movie that I pre-ordered, with the iTunes card already redeemed?

    See, I bought an iTunes card the other day and redeemed it that same day. After doing so, I pre-ordered a movie that was expected to be released on the 18th of March(today). So I tried to purchase the movie I pre-ordered with the credit I redeemed from the iTunes card, but it is asking for my billing information. So I clicked on the link where it says "To redeem code, click here", and it asked me to enter a code. My concern is why can't I buy that movie I pre-ordered with I the money I have in my iTunes account?

    You didn't purchase the movie, you pre-ordered it. So the code works to put in the pre-order for the movie. So it's on hold, so to speak. Then when the movie comes out (and only then) are you actually billed, so you have to enter the code again in case you or someone else who has access to your computer used some -- perhaps too much of the credit in the meantime.
    If I use a regular credit card and pre-order something, oftentimes there is some kind of perk or extra included along with it for me in return for pre-ordering. Like an extra feature for example. I don't actually get billed until I actually get the movie and so it's kinda like that.
    Did you lose the code?

    You should put mobile sales related messages in the forum "CRM Mobile applications"
    This error message is coming because the language table SMOT002 might be empty in your mobile client OR it does not have all the values which have been customized in the system.
    You need to have subscription based on publication "customizing objects" assigned to your site.

  • Why do columns not appear in the same order as the fields on my imported form?

    Hello All
    I am an Acrobat X user and make numerous forms through Acrobat.  However, when I import the file into FormsCentral, the order of the fields in the table do not correspond to the order in which they appear on my form.  The fields on my form are in a calendar format so they appear from left-to-right.  I'm wondering if when I do the import, it is read by FormsCentral from top-to-bottom instead or is it random.  It's a real inconvenience and severely inhibits my workflow when I have to rearrange the columns to work with the data.  Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.

    Files have no order. File management programs like the finder or windows explorer will display files according to your selected display sort. Typically alpha by file name, date created, size, date modified. So to view them in a selected order you need to sort on an attribute that accomplishes that. The easiest usually is to export photos using the sequential naming option then displaying in alpha order

  • With iTunes match, order of the songs in my playlist of mobile devices is not the same as on my computer

    In my iTunes on computer, I have several smart play lists. Within each playlist, songs are set to a certain order. Some playlist songs order are organized by name, some playlists are organized by Album, some playlists are organized by artist etc.
    When I was syncing my iPhone and iPad directly with my computer, the playlists on my mobile device had same order of songs as on my itunes in computer.
    Now, I signed up for iTunes match. With iCloud sync, order of the songs in my playlist of mobile devices is not the same as on my computer. In fact, order of songs within a playlist appears to be completely random. Moreover, order of songs are different in my iPhone 4s and iPad 2
    How can I change the order of songs on my mobile devices or how do I make iTunes match to sync my songs such that within a playlist, my songs are in the same order as that of iTunes on my computer.

  • I copied a smart playlist to a regular playlist in order to change the order of the individual selections.  I then burned the regular playlist to a cd, but the cd burned it in alphabetical order as it appears on the smart playlist.

    I changed the order, then burned a cd but the cd copied the songs in the order of the smart playlist, which was alphabetical.  What am i doing wrong in this scenario, and is there a way to change the song order in a smart playlist?  I am a new MAC user.  Is this unique to the MAC format?

    I'm trying to figure out a way to make a playlist of songs I generally like from a very large library to fit on my iPod. The songs aren't rated, and I don't want to have a totally random selection chosen by a smart playlist.
    I usually make two playlists.
    One playlist with favorites I do want on the iPod and another smart playlist to fill the rest of the iPod. Just limit the size to th esize of the iPod minus wthe size of my iPod selection playlist.

  • How do I change the order of the fields in my pdf form?

    I am using pdf. form I made in Acrobat and distributing with Adobe FormsCentral.  We use a table format for our teachers to fill out their field trip schedules and therefore use many different fields.
    How can I change the order of the fields (not for tabbing, we figured that out)...so that when we receive our notification email, I can see the inforamtion in a specific order (Date, Time, School, Program, etc).
    We would also like this same order to appear in the "View Responses" table.  I know you can drag and drop the order in the table but we have over 100 fields and that is going to take a really long time.
    Please help???

    What do you mean by the "order they appear in the pdf structure"?  What is the "Pdf structure"? 
    thank you for your help... this is really upsetting, as I thought we finally found a solution with Adobe Forms : (
    We really need the fields to report back in a specific order and wouldn't have time to rearrange over 100 fields with every form that is submitted. We receive about 10-20 different forms a day (same form layout, just some of the fields will have to be prefilled depending on school/teacher reservation... so we have to name each form a different name, for each school).
    Thank you again and maybe one day they will change that.  Is there anyway to set it up in the web verison of Adobe FormsCentral to look similar to the table we have created?

  • Having downloaded and installed the latest Maverick Ios I now have a problem with mail.All my mailboxes were in alphabetical order now they are arrange randomly under my mail account, sync does not rearrange them whilst the order in the ISP account is in

    Shows the way the mailboxes are listed in the mail program under any particular provider, in my case I have three mail provider accounts with mail moved from the inbox to the appropraite mailbox eg [email protected] , Xero - where the incomeing mail is filed.
    My problem is to arrange these mailboxes/folders in an alphabetical order under the [email protected] account

    Currently, I am able to send the email of the purchase order to the vendor mail address, which is mentioned on general data tab of the vendor master.
    In addition, the requirement is that the purchase order also to be emailed to the User, who has created it.
    I have added the VU in NACE settings for application EF, output type NEU. The payment medium I have used is 5 (external send).
    However, when I try to add the VU and the user name to the vendor master partner details tab, the system is not taking in.
    Please let me know how can I email the purchase order to user.

    How you deal with them, depends on what is in them. If the goods issues and goods receipts are not in balance, and the values are material, you should do a WIP calculation and post that. Otherwise you can do nothing.
    It also depends on why the order is open - is it still being produced, or is it an old order. Old orders should be closed some or other time, so that they can be excluded from the month-end runs, and later on be archived. Large numbers of open orders can slow down the system during month-end processing.

    you can enter a lower limit in the condition record:
    Lower limit of the condition rate/amount
    Indicates whether, during document processing, the system checks if manual changes fall short of the lower limit allowed for the corresponding condition record.
    Use
    When you maintain the scales in a condition record, the system checks whether the scale value falls below the lower limit.
    Or you can use the flag 'conditon update'.
    Condition update
    Controls whether limit values are relevant for pricing.
    E.g.: you can make the use of a particular condition record in the document dependent on a specified total value.
    This total value can be specified in the condition record.
