Bug affichage display interface

Bonjour,
http://helpx.adobe.com/fr/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-unexpected-behavior-user-account -2.html

thanks for the reply.
I already did that,
The interface of InDesign has a problem with custom screen dpi settings for Windows 7. Do you have a custom percentage setting? If so, try with this reset at the default of 100%.
It is working with 100% - 125% but the bug is effective with 150%
I did explain this soluce in my own mail but in french :

it is a temporary soluce, but this is not a good soluce, because if i had set my display like that, I have a good reason, otherwise the interface is realy very small.
I hope there will have soon an update to fix this.

  • Miix2 10 and wireless display interface

    My Miix2 10 stopped supporing the Wireless Display Interface.  I have been using it along with a Netgear receiver just fine as recently as a few weeks ago but now it will not connect.  I tested the Netgear receiver with an older laptop that also supports WiDi and it works just fine.  I tried updating the WiDi driver using the Intel driver support application but it starts and then says it does not support my graphics adapter.  This is odd as it has been working for months until now.  What can I do to get this working again?

    Is it listed in:
    http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/sol/components/views/keyboard_mouse_all_results.page1.html ?
    I'ld guess that if its fix in a very recent release of OpenSolaris it might still take a while before its putback to the latest Solaris 10, but thats my guess.

  • BUG: Thunderbolt display audio at 32 samples is distorted

    Found a bug and submitted case for distorted audio when routing a I/O buffer size of 32 samples in Logic Pro X to a thunderbolt display. Apple engineers have reproduced but no word on how or when it will be addressed. Engineers said it has nothing to do with any 3rd party drivers.
    My first experience with Apple support and was really surprised there are no SLA's for known issues. Wondering how proactive the fix will addressed.

    You're also transmitting a -lot- of video information, I'm sure video has priority.
    It's not like a dedicated thunderbolt audio interface designed to be low latency.

  • BUG: iPad displays 1cm border around content in task flow popup window

    I have tried this out on JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0, 11.1.2.1.0 and 11.1.2.2.0 and each one seems to have the same problem. When displaying a taskflow in-line popup windows on an iPad (iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 5.1) a ~1cm border is displayed on the left, bottom and top of the window's content, with some of the content (also about 1cm) on the right being cut-off.
    I have also tried my app out on a Android Samsung Galaxy Tab (built-in browser), Android Samsung S1 (built-in) and on my Windows 7 PC in Safari and Firefox. None of these devices/browsers have this problem.
    To replicate this problem the following steps can be followed.
    1) Create a normal fusion web application.
    2) Add a wild card control flow rule to the default unbounded task flow.
    3) Add a new bounded task flow to the unbounded task flow.
    4) Set the bounded task flow 'Run as Dialog' to 'true' and 'Display type' to 'inline popup'.
    5) Link the wild card control flow to the bounded task flow.
    6) Add a single jsf page to the bounded task flow.
    7) Add a panel box to the jsf page (or any other content for that matter)
    8) Create a test page and add a button to it. Set up the button's action properties such that it opens the bounded task flow as a window ('UseWindow' - 'true'; 'WindowEmbedStyle' - 'window'; 'WindowModalityType' - 'modeless' and set width and height).
    Are any workarounds for this? Is there currently a available patch to fix this problem?

    Hi,
    Are any workarounds for this? Is there currently a available patch to fix this problem?
    if nobody dares reproducing this and filing it as a bug then a fix can take a while. I'll put it on a list of my follow ups, but this is not a high priority list. So if you can I appreciate if you can file the bug and provide a testcase. Note that 11.1.2 (11g R2) is not yet optimized for tablet PCs. So JDeveloper 11g R1 (11.1.1.6) is the build that should be used as a reference for filing the bug

  • Motion 3, DVD Studio Pro 3, Compressor...fail to display interface

    Macbook Pro C2D, Leopard OS X 10.5.1. All apps were running perfectly before this happened...
    First, all the apps of Final Cut Studio 2 crashed on startup.
    I recall that the last thing I did is trashing the newly installed trail version Aperture.
    After checking the crashing log, I found the problem comes from Prokit.framework. I did a thorough search, the answer is quite clear that the Prokit.framework comes with Aperture 1.5.2 is a PPC version, it replaced the intel version that was in my OS. So the solution is replacing the PPC version back to Prokit for Intel. Finally I found some provided download links of Prokit for Intel. BUT..
    All the Prokit online are extracted with Pacifist from either Tiger OS disc or ProAppRuntime4.0.2.pkg(from apple's website). So they are either version 3.1 or version 4.0.2. After replacing my Prokit.framework with version 4.0.2, all my FCS 2 apps except Final Cut Pro (but Log and Transfer inside FCP 6) stopped crashing but failed to display any interface. But the icons are in the dock.
    So finally I cleaned up all the files related to Final Cut Studio 2 and Prokit.framework and did a fresh reinstallation of FCS 2.
    Same thing! No interface at all.
    At this point, I doubt if the Prokit.framework in Leopard OS disc is different. It's too bad that I'm traveling for a project and my Leopard DVD is not in hand. So I asked a friend using Pacifist to extract Prokit.framework and Browser.framework from his Leopard DVD and sent them over. Now I found that they are indeed different. The one from Leopard is version 4.1. I did a replace again. Now, Motion 3, DVD Studio Pro 3 and Compressor start up, but with black windows and a few images, and the menu bars are really weird. I guess I should install this two framework with Pacifist instead of replacing them with the extracted folders?
    The last resort I guess is to reinstall Leopard? My dilemma if I don't finish my project, I have no access to my OS DVD, but I need to use FCS 2 to finish the project.
    Has anyone run into the same situation? Any enlightenment will be appreciated!

    I have just installed Leopard ans having problems with DDVDSPRO crasshing, can you please expand on how i may install prokit.framework and Browerkit frame work with Pacifist. I am not an expert please bear in mind!!
    many thanks

  • BUG: LR displays fast FPS series  in wrong order

    I've taken some pictureseries with my Nikon D200 with fast continious mode (5 frames per second).
    When importing them into the LR library, some of the pictures (from the fast fps series) show up in wrong order (quite annoying).
    This does not apply to pictures from "normal" shootings, just the fast fps ones.
    This happens both in folder view and other views based on keywords etc.
    I assume LR displays the pictures according to time in exif info, and doesn't know what to do when the pictures have the same time info (which I guess happens at high fps-rates).
    But wouldn't it be logical when this issue accours, that LR would look at the filenames (of the conflicting files) and display pictures chronological based on numbering. Instead, it seemes to be making wild guesses.
    My files looks like this:
    YYYYMMDD_DSC####_more_info.nef
    Is this a known issue?
    regards Carl

    David,
    I think you're right. I do a lot of continuous stuff with my D200 and I noticed some time ago it writes the files "out of order" to the card. This is really a feature of fast digital cameras and not a bug in Lightroom, it's to do with the strategy the cameras use when you give them a lot of data, pause a moment, and then do it again while they are still writing to the card. "Creation Time" is really "Write-to-Card time".
    I really can't see how it's an issue with YYYYMMDD_DSC####, though; they could still be sorted on filename post-import, surely?
    I just did a test renaming _DH35222.NEF to bananas_DH35222.NEF in the operating system; LR blinked once then updated the name, so I don't really see why the renaming couldn't in principle be done after import by a little external script, with the LR database open.
    I can't help thinking that all this renaming and reshuffling is all just making work for oneself though. The files are stored in date-based folders by default, can be sorted on (among other things) filename and (best of all) can be browsed visually.
    Still, all progress depends on the "unreasonable man" who persists in adapting the world to himself, according to George Bernard Shaw.

  • Generics bug with multiple interface inheritance?

    Hi,
    I've noticed what I believe to be a compiler bug (I am getting an error where I believe none should exist). Can someone please comment on the following use-case?
    interface Interface1<SelfType extends Interface1<SelfType>>
    interface Interface2
    class Superclass implements A<Superclass>
    class Dependant<Type extends Interface1<Type>>
       public static <Type extends Interface1<Type>> Dependant<Type> getInstance(Class<Type> c)
         return new Dependant<Type>();
    class Subclass extends Superclass implements Interface2
      Subclass()
        Dependant<Subclass> dependant = Dependant.getInstance(Subclass.class);
    }The problem is that in the above code the compiler will complain that Dependant<Subclass> is illegal because "Subclass is not within its bounds" . The compiler requires that Subclass implement Interface1 and Interface2 directly and implementing Interface1 by extending Superclass doesn't seem to count. If you replace Subclass's definition by "class Subclass implements Interface1<Subclass>, Interface2" the problem goes away.
    Is this a compiler bug?
    Thank you,
    Gili

    Actually now I understand what you mean.... Ok, now I am going to modify the problem slightly and add Interface2 into the picture. The new code is:
    interface Interface1<SelfType extends Interface1<SelfType>>
    interface Interface2
    class Superclass implements Interface1<Superclass>
    class Dependant<Type extends Interface1<Type>>
       public static <Type extends Interface1<Type> & Interface2> Dependant<Type> getInstance(Class<Type> c)
         return new Dependant<Type>();
    class Subclass extends Superclass implements Interface2
      public Subclass()
        Dependant<Subclass> dependant = Dependant.getInstance(Subclass.class);
    }Now, previously I could replace:
    Dependant<Subclass> dependant = Dependant.getInstance(Subclass.class);
    with
    Dependant<Superclass> dependant = Dependant.getInstance(Superclass.class);
    and it solved the problem, but now that Type must implement Interface2 I cannot.
    The reason I added this requirement is that this is actually what is going on in my applicationI had made mistakely omited this detail from the original use-case.
    Can you think up of a possible solution to this new use-case?
    Thanks,
    Gili

  • Book printing with Blurb. Bug ? New interface ?

    Hello, all.
    As I am trying to use the newest version of Aperture for the first time I am finding that the program is somewhat unresponsive. I just attempted to add one more page to a 100-page book and the application became unresponsive. The screens shows the book now as having 1098 pages but how did this happen if all I did was add one single page ? Is there a bug ?
    I also noticed the new interface. The icons are monochromatic and so are all other visual elements. Is this normal ? I am assuming they are following Lion's interface design. Quite frankly I think I liked it better the way it was before.
    One question:
    I am trying to print a book. I have given up on printing the book using Apple's own service due to the many limitations the biggest one of all being the 100-page limit imposed to books. Adobe's Lightroom uses Blurb, which offers more options. Books printed from Lightroom can have up to 280 pages and there are choices of papers as well as choices of cover materials the user can select when ordering books. Their books do look better.
    Having said that, I have found that Aperture makes the process of creating books much simpler and it is actually easier to design a book in it when compared to Lightroom. This may change in the future as they improve this feature since this is the first version that includes the book design module but for now I think I will continue to use Aperture.
    Has anyone used Aperture with Blurb's printing service ? In case you have would share any tips ? I am assuming I can print an Aperture book as a PDF file and then provide it to Blurb so that they can print the book. Is this true ?
    Any help or suggestions you can share will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if your problem is due entirely to trying to add that 101-st page to your book.  Though if true, that would be bad of Aperture to hang, rather than warn you and not let you do so.
    As per publishing with Blurb, I use outside book vendors often, while still using Aperture to design the book.  When you hit "Print book" select the "PDF" button (lower left), and either print a PDF, or choose one of the "Save PDF to folder JPG" options.  I use the latter.  I get a single JPG for each page of my book, and then use that in the ordering software for my book vendor.
    These "Save PDF to folder JPG" options are just PDF Services Automator scripts.  Search the forums about this.  I modified one to suit my needs.  I believe they reside in /Macintosh HD/LIbrary/PDF Services.  Double click on one to edit.  I made mine output a 300 DPI file in the sRGB color space.  Save as a new file name.

  • [Solved] Screen bug after display sleep

    Hi,
    I have a Asus N55SF (Intel HD and Nvidia GT555M with Optimus).
    When my screen wakes up after DPMS off (I mean only the screen suspend, not the system one), it's totally white, and I see leds becoming grey then black (like a cloud). Then it stays like this, the only way I found to make it working again is to put the computer in sleep mode and wake it up.
    I can reproduce it, just waiting for the screen to turn off, or manually typing:
    $ xset -display :0 dpms force off
    I found a similar issue here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions … ost4501106
    Any idea?

    This seems to be fixed now. In the last update, kernel and drivers (and a lot of things) were updated, so I don't know which one fixed the bug...

  • THUNDER BUGS IN DISPLAY!

    In the recent hot weather I have gained 2 thunder bugs in my display. They are at different levels as one will appear in front of certain windows whereas the other will be behind them. They got in through the latch opening as I watched them parade along the top of my display with some of their mates who were crushed between my thumb and forefinger! They then swam around for a couple of days, got very drunk or drowned and are now dead in the my display graveyard. R.I.P.
    My laptop was one of the group recalled for faulty displays a couple of years ago as they were 'patching'.
    Does anyone have any ideas? Can it be dismantled/cleaned professionally? Do I need a new display? Will this require a second mortgage? Should I learn to live with and love the little critters? It is difficult as I am a graphic designer and am always stressed about marks on my display? Serious answers only PLEASE!

    Like i said you can probaly use those directions to get into the screen and clean it but dust is the main problem and trying to get the dust from inside the display ends up putting more there. But if its really bad you dont really have anything to lose worst case senario have a trained person to fix it or depending on its age get a new or used computer might be the better route. Did you ever send the computer in to have the faulty screen replaced?

  • WLAN Controller Displays Interface IP in Web Authentication URL Instead of FQDN

    Hi,
    Can someone offer any help with the issue below please?
    I have a guest wlan configured on a Cisco 2106 WLAN controller. Guest users are redirected to a Web Authenticaion page when they try to access the internet through a web browser, and can only proceed by succesfully authenticating with the controller.
    The problem I have is that the guest users are presented with an SSL certficate error before they hit the web authentication page. I have installed an SSL certificate from Verisign on the controller, and have configured an FQDN for the interface that is used for the guest wlan. However, the certificate error still persists because when the user is re-redirected to the web auth page, the URL in the address bar is presented as the IP address of the interface instead of the FQDN, For example, when a user is redirected, the address bar in their web browser displays; https://1.1.1.5/ instead of https://guestwifi.domain.com/ The SSL certificate that is installed on the controller is securing the FQDN of the interface.
    I'm not sure if i'm missing something here, but i'm struggling to find how to get the FQDN to display instead of the IP.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    I'm not following what you mean when you sayd "FQDN for the interface that is used for the guest wlan"......
    I assume you configured the Virtual Interface  to have the dns entry as guestwifi.domain.com but clients are still being redirected to the virtual IP itself and not the dns name?
    The only reason I can think of for that happening was if the WLC had not been rebooted since applying the DNS name to the Virtual Interface (it takes a reboot to modify client redirect stuff, the same goes for http vs https).
    so guestwifi.domain.com should have a DNS entry resolving to 1.1.1.5, that entry should be on your virtual interface, and upon reboot you should always redirect to guestwifi.domain.com unless you manually type https://1.1.1.5 in the browser.

  • Bug: recipient display on messages with "reply to" tag

    When replying to a message that was sent to me with a "reply to" address set, BBOS behavior is misleading to the point where I consider this a bug.  Specifically, it will honor the reply-to address without displaying any indication that it is doing so in the recipient information.
    Explanation by example:
    Someone sends me a message, and sets a reply-to address different from their own address.
    I receive the message, and click reply on my Passport.
    The "To:" field in my email appears to contain the person who sent me the original message.
    I compose my message and send it.
    Instead of being sent to the displayed recipient, it is sent instead to the address specified in the original message's Reply-to field.
    This is a potentially abusable security risk.  That is, I could easily be tricked into sending a candid reply much more broadly than intended, since the recipient  my message will actually be sent to is occluded by the display name of the person I think I'm replying to.  Other clients handle this much better, by explicitly changing the recipient's display name so that it matches the address, and thus preventing confusion.  That is how BBOS should handle this situation.

    Hello,
    first of all please be aware that this is not a support website officially manned by BB employees. We are "just" a forum of BB users and developers.
    Then, I'm not sure how often the situation you're describing could occur: it would mislead the user if someone uses a different "reply to" address than... which one? Isn't it logical that the device will use the "reply to" field when you hit the button "reply"?
    How exceptionally this would occur, you only have to "touch" the recipient field of your reply and the device will show the address actually used to send the reply message.
    Please don't forget to mark as "solved" if your question is replied and to "like" a useful reply to your post ;-)

  • Minor bug in user interface

    I have noticed a minor bug in the user interface... the font color in develop module changes to barely legible whilst editing values using keyboard. Does not seem to affect the font when using sliders to change  values.

  • Bug: Target Display Mode + optical audio cable = black screen

    Using Target Display Mode on my iMac 27" (late-2012) with my MacBook Air (mid-2013) always resulted in a black screen on the iMac.
    Hardware used:
    MacBook Air mid-2013 (Mac OS X 10.8.4)
    iMac 27" late-2012 (Mac OS X 10.8.4)
    Thunderbolt cable between MBA and iMac
    optical audio cable in iMac (digital audio out through optical mini jack plug)
    Now, enter Target Display Mode on the iMac keyboard (Cmd+F2).
    Result: black screen on the iMac (MBA is okay, optical audio is okay)
    Workaround: unplug optical audio cable before entering Target Display Mode. Plug in the optical digital audio out cable after TDM is working and all is fine.
    I sent a bug report through the feedback form. Just posting here to save others the few hours I had to spend finding the cause and workaround!

    Thank you!! Saved me a trip to the Genius Bar.
    Confirmed: Bug also exists in the new 2013 iMac under Mavericks. Unplugging the optical cable before entering Target Display Mode solved the problem.

  • BUG: {module_title} displays ID value again

    Hi, the previous bug fix from R182 System Update in December:
    3078126
    {module_title} displays the title ID instead of the customer's title e.g.    Mr, Mrs, etc
    The bug has reappeared today (e.g. displays 1325780 instead of "Mr.") (possibly something that changed in yesterday/today's maintenance?)

    Probably one of the hot patches reversed this.
