Bug?Click on INDEX of sqlserver connections

Hello,I met a strange question,my sql developer version is EA2.
I established a connection of Sqlserver,but when I click Indexes of my sqlserver connetion,an error msgbox pops up,and shows me such error message "An error was encountered performing the requested operation: Invalid object name 'sys.indexes' . Vendor code 208".
It seems that the dot of "sys.indexes" should be get rid of.
And I click the "Logins",similar error occurs,and it show "sys.server_principals".
To click "Rules" shows "sys.objects".
To click "Synoyms" show "schema_id is not a recognized function name.Vendor code 195".
And other errors are just like above two.
But when I use the former 1.2 version,no errors.
My oracle is oracle 9.0.2.1,and Sqlserver is 2000.
How do I solve the problems?

When a user changed the microphone (using right click -> settings -> microphone, or Security.showSettings(SecurityPanel.MICROPHONE)) AudioPublisher still using mic with 0 index.

      _mic = _micIndex == -1 ? Microphone.getMicrophone(_micIndex) : Microphone.getMicrophone();
Or another solution. But it will be good if it work wright.

That's up to you. Do you want the data on your old phone on your new phone? If so, you follow the directions here:

If you want to setup your new phone as a new device, then there is nothing you need to do.

You won't believe this but a friend of mine (who happens to be an Apple Genius) told me to put a towel or cloth on a sturdy countertop (I know this may sound weird) but hold the selct button (in the center) and menu part of the wheel at the same time until an Apple logo comes up on the screen and then quickly turn the ipod on it's side and wack it on the counter where the towel is so as not to damage anything cosmetically. It seems the clicking is the hard drive reader is stuck and this dislodges it. Mine works now (no clicking) and all seems to be well again. Who knew?

Test Stand Sequence Example - OverrideSerialNumForParallelModel.Seq Bug with Socket Index Report?

Hello - is there a way to have the testand sequence "OverrideSerialNumForParallelModel.Seq" give the reports correctly with the "Test Socket Index" Correctly at 0,1,2,3 instead of each window haveing 0,0,0,0
I've spent a long time trying to get it to work with my applciation -but can't seem to find the answer.

Hi Brad,
The reason that all of the report view tabs are displaying the same socket ID is that you are currently generating a single report file for all of your test sockets (the default behavior), and this same report file is being displayed for all of the sockets. You will notice that if you scroll down in any of the reports, results for all of the other sockets will be present. If you would prefer to have a separate report file for each test socket, you can enable the New UUT Report File for Each Test Socket report options as shown below.

RoboHelp 8 crashes when I click the index

This was happening in one particular project. I spent two hours on the phone with Adobe Support, but they couldn't figure it out. We assumed the index got corrupted somehow, so I recreated the project and created a brand new index. It worked fine yesterday, but when I opened the project this morning and clicked the index, RoboHelp crashed again. I tried it multiple times and RoboHelp crashes each time. I tried it on both of my systems, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Can anyone help me please?

I'm using RH 8.0.2.208
I have a similiar problem......RH completely freezes when I attempt to create an idex which causes me to ctrl-alt-delete in order to close RH.
Here's what I've tried, using the Smart Index Wizard:
--create an index by manually confirming each new keyword (my preferred method)
--create an index by automatically accepting each new keyword
--create an index on ONLY one folder (thinking if I can just get ONE indexed, I'm in good shape)
--deleting the CPD file, and create the index again (the 3 ways above)
In the Index Pod:
--manually added one index keyword (to an empty index, obviously) and saved it. No problem there.
Each time I attempt to create an index, I can see the keywords being added to the Index pod in the background but then it just freezes some time during the process and nothing is saved. When I tried to create an index by adding new index keywords automatically, it looks like it went all the way to the end...and froze just as it was finishing (the index completion status green bar was at the very end).
A year ago, I was able to create a new index on a different project. Since then, with every new project created, the index has failed and crashed RH. Size hasn't mattered, the large projects and the super small ones fail.
The alternative is to send the documentation without an index, but this is really not acceptable.
Is there anything else I can try?

BUG ? Create index on a partitioned table drops the complete table !

Hi ...
now i had twice the problem when i tried to create a local index (with 2 fields) on a partitioned table .
I set initrans to 1 and maxtrans to 255 (i know - initrans has to be at least 2).
I got an error - and the table (including the data) was gone ... :-((
Has anybody the same behavior and is it a bug ??

SQLServer connection in Connection Navigator doesn't display any tables ...

I connect to a SQLServer DB using the steps described in the help and I can query tables just fine, but when I click on the Tables or Views, I see nothing.
I can start up a SQL worksheet and get data from the database just fine.
I can also connect using the JDBC/ODBC driver and see the tables just fine.
My connection string looks like:
jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://credent.hsys.local:1433;databasename=echo_test
Is this a bug in 10.1.3 of JDev?

I'm using the SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3 version 2.2.0040
. I haven't tried the 2005 beta.
I am setting up the connection using 'Third Party JDBC Driver'. If I change the connection information to use the JDBC-ODBC bridge instead of the SQL Server JDBC driver, I see the tables.
Here's the steps:
1) create a new connection using the connection wizard.
2) Name the connection Echo_test and choose Third party JDBC driver
3) put in the username and password
4) Create a new driver class for SQL server com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
5) Use that connection and put in the URL jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://credent.hsys.local:1433;databasename=echo_test
6) Test the connection and finish.
7) go to the connection navigator Database node, and expand "Echo_test"
8) go to the dbo schema node and expand that.
9) go to the Tables node and try to expand that - no tables show (although there is a delay as if a query is being run).
10) try the same thing with the Views node - same results.
Next I changed the connection to use the JDBC-ODBC driver by changing the driver & connection:
1) Add a new driver class sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
2) use that class and change the URL to jdbc:odbc:echo_test
3) Go back to the connection navigator and expand "Echo_test" (no schemas display).
4) change the filter to include the dbo schema
5) Now when I expand the dbo/Tables, I see all the tables.

Powershell SQLServer Connect via New-PSDrive

I try to connect to a local SQL Database running SQLServer 2012.
I can not connect with my local account, but have to use a dedicated account.
I tried the following:

PS SQLSERVER:\> New-PSDrive sqldrive -PSProvider SqlServer -Root SQLSERVER:\SQL\DB01-LT\DEFAULT -Credential $cred

($cred is valid, of cause)
For me, everything seems good, but if I try to browse the psdrive I get an error.

RVER:\sqldrive does not exist. Please specify a valid path.

JDBC SqlServer connection problem

I'm trying to connect to a local Sql Server database. I started out connecting to a database on another computer on the network by using the following code:

This worked fine. However, when I started trying to connect to a database on my own computer, I started having problems. The database I'm trying to connect to is listed under the node "TERRAIN\BEATTHETRAFFIC" in SqlServer's Enterprise Manager. The database name is still traffic, and the user name and password are unchanged. My new code is as follows:

I have tried the above with / instead of \\ as well.
With these, I get the error:

"localhost:TERRAIN/BEATTHETRAFFIC" and used 127.0.0.1 instead of "localhost" as well.
but with these I get
[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Unable to connect. Invalid URL.
I'm honestly at my wits' end here. I haven't really tried to connect to a Sql Server database before, and haven't done much work with connecting to databases in general, so maybe I'm making some glaringly obvious mistake, so if anyone could point it out, I'd be very grateful.

For the value of serverName, you need to use an Internet-style host name, or an IP-address, not a Windows resource name.
Examples of an internet-style host name are:
this_host
this_host.my_company.com
Names with slashes in them are not Internet-style.
The requirement is that name be something that your operating system can convert to an IP address. At least on newer versions of Windows (and most versions of Unix/Linux) you can find out the host name, with the "hostname" command. On windows:
Click the Start button.
Click the Run... link
Enter "cmd" into the command line and click OK ( a new command window will open)
In the new command window, enter "hostname" and hit enter. The system will give you the host name you need to use (upper/lower case does not matter).
To confirm that the name ought to work, in that still-open command window, enter "ping [whatever the host name is]". You should get about 10 lines back that includes 4 lines that begin with "Reply from [your IP address] ..."

Bug? Create Index can not edit index name

Hi,
when I want to create an index I can not edit the index name which is always tablename_index1 after I create the index with this name, delete it again and create a new one I can edit the indexname.
this happens when you use the tabs in edit table. It works when you use context menu create index

This seems to be specific to Oracle 9. I could not reproduce in 10 but did just reproduce in 9. The only way to get the index created was to refresh the connection, just refreshing the table or all tables did not do it. I will log a bug now.

Is this a bug in FM10 Indexing?

When I produce an index I always get a spurious entry in the index before the A section and it looks like this:
Symbols
...................................................47
I have checked the pages in and around p47 and there are no unexplained index marker tags in the pages.
After importing the index from a separate file into the main document, if I then look at the tag associated with the Symbol page number entry, it says:
openObjectId my_doc.fm:1 1042152
If I look at the tag associated with the Symbol entry itself, it says:
newlink Symbols
I have searched the document for a marker called newlink but have not found anything. Is this a bug?

How are you checking?
If you've got two Index Markers on top of each other, the only reliable way to select them individually is to Find/Change for Marker of type Index.
Searching, by the way, may move to the next page before everything is found, if you've got markers in anchored frames.

Yes, but are all the expected markers showing up as planned? I've seen this artifact when the IX marker gets tagged with a character format that is used for invisible text. If that ChFmt tag exists in the IX, it is honored for the text, but the tab leader and page still show up.

Bug editing list Items using webpart connections ,group by and inline editing

Hi Everyone. I came across a bug using out of the box features.
Let me explain well the details to reproduce the error. I used :
*2 Lists :
-List one : the consumer list with two columns :
-Number column
-Choice column
-List two :
The sender list with one column :
-Lookup column to gets the number column on the consumer list
*A webpart Page
*2 listviewwebparts in the webpart page
*Connect webparts to filter by the lookup column/number column
*Add inline editing in the consumer webpart
Till now everything works perfectly, inline editing works fine. Let's add some more view details :
*Add a group by in the view of the consumer webpart (group by the choice column)
=> Try to edit list items, you will notice that inside a group, inline editing is OK and inside another group it doesnt work!
If you get the same error, that would be nice to find where is the problem (I already found a similar bug and the problem was the sorting that needs to be in the same way for both connected webparts , ASC or DESC). But this one... ???

According to your description, I create the consumer list and sender list, create a webpart page , add a chioce filter webpart and consumer list webpart. But after I add a group by in the view of the consumer webpart, the inline edit still work fine.

ITunes crashes when I click on Library w/ shuffle connected

I can't get the applecare guys to talk this one out.
I have a g4 imac running osx 10.4 and itunes 7.1.1 and for some reason, whenever I have my shuffle (2nd gen) plugged in and I click on Library, iTunes crashes. I had no problems with 10.3.9 when I first got my new shuffle.
This all started when I updated my os to 10.4 and bought my girlfriend a 2nd gen shuffle. when her shuffle was connected the same thing happend. I hadn't updated my songs since updating my os, so I thought it was a problem with her shuffle. I restored the software on her shuffle, but that didn't help. I actually returned her ipod to amazon.com and got a new one (which I've been using with my new intel iBook).
so, tonight I had my shuffle charging and I clicked on Library and itunes crashed. hmmm. some fun.
so i updated to itunes 7.1.1 and it still does the same thing. Only difference is
my shuffle got erased by the stupid autofill nonsense.
how can I get my **** shuffle to work, again?
