Bug tabtip with fileselectpopup

Using tabtip (on screen keyboard) anchored to the bottom (or on top) of the screen, it seems impossible to reach some fields of a fileselectpopup like the "save" button for example!!!
This behavior is normal if tabtip is not anchored, nevertheless when anchored it autoscales UIR which is quite useful on applications running on tablet PC.
Any workaround?
Thanks.

  • Task flow-call  as a Dialog with inline-popup issue JDev 11.1.1.2.0

    I have a very serious issue with task flow-call running as a Dialog with inline-popup
    have bunch of data driven table components pointing to pageDefs with Iterators
    the problem is, the dialog comes first with nothing in it (blank) and it takes 3-5 seconds to fetch all views,
    this is useless, there is no option to control taskflow-call activation , like you do for af:region
    For reference : I am talking about this : http://jobinesh.blogspot.com/2010/08/refresh-parent-view-when-in-line-popup.html
    Download the workspace , connect as HR Schema and you will see what I am talking about
    looks really dumb, it would make sense to show dialog with data all at once, rarther than looking at blank screen to wait for the data to show up

    can I call this a bug?
    Edited by: user626222 on Sep 20, 2010 1:58 PM
    sometimes I wonder if anyone tested this, as soon as you have some data driven components on your page, you get all sorts of problems in ADF
    But something simple, Adf client side invokes the Dialog as a popup first, and then it thinks oh ya I get massive pageDef to load, so end-user customer will stare at the blank screen for 10 secs , hoping that something will come up or program is crashed
    Well, I am afraid to say you lost your customer :(

    ok, knowing this fact, I want to show some kind of status indicator during the wait time.
    Unfortunately, putting af:statusIndicator does not work untill after entire page loads

  • Firefox keeps prompting me for password with the popup

    Firefox at my work computer keeps prompting for password with the popup message "The proxy moz-proxy://proxy:9119 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://proxy:9119"" This happens too often,even If i provide the username and password I get the next popup with same message.
    Its very annoying, I am not finding web better because of this, I goggled and figured about the config settings of - network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies and the other one not working.
    I guess I am missing the PAC URL or something which I remember like solved the problem sometime back but not in same domain though.

  • How to make the server respond with a popup?

    I want to make the server respond with a popup?my code is like this,but it does not work,why?
    <code>
    public class Welcome2
         public static void main(String[] args)throws IOException
              ServerSocket server = new ServerSocket(2222);
              while(true)
                   Socket s = server.accept();
                   BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(s.getInputStream()));
                   String msg = in.readLine();
                   if(msg.equals("visitor"))
                        System.out.println("recv...");
                        JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null,"Visitor coming!\n");
         System.exit(0);
                   server.close();
    </code>
    it can properly print out "recv...",but no popup,why?

    Define "does not work". What happens?
    Does your program compile? Do you get an exception? Does the program receive a line? Is the line equal to whatever you expect? Is showMessageDialog() called? Put in some debugging println's to see what happens.

  • Bug in WITH clause (subquery factoring clause) in Oracle 11?

    I'm using WITH to perform a set comparison in order to qualify a given query as correct or incorrect regarding an existing solution. However, the query does not give the expected result - an empty set - when comparing the solution to itself in Oracle 11 whereas it does in Oracle 10. A minimal example os posted below as script. There are also some observations about changes to the tables or the query that make Oracle 11 returning correct results but in my opinion these changes must not change the semantics of the queries.
    Is this a bug or am I getting something wrong? The Oracle versions are mentioned in the script.

    You're all gonna love this one.....
    The WITH clause works. But not easily.
    Go ahead, build the query, (as noted in a recent thread, I, too, always use views), set the grants and make sure DISCOVERER and EULOWNER have SELECT privs.
    1. Log into Disco Admin as EULOWNER. Trust me.
    2. Add the view as a folder to the business area.
    3. Log into Disco Desktop as EULOWNER. Don't laugh. It gets better.
    4. Build the workbook and the worksheet (or just the worksheet if apropos)
    5. Set the appropriate "sharing" roles and such
    6. Save the workbook to the database.
    7. Save the workbook to your computer.
    8. Log out of Desktop.
    9. Log back into Desktop as whatever, whoever you usually are to work.
    10. elect "open existing workbook"
    11. Select icon for "open from my computer". See? I told you it would get better!
    12. Open the save .dis file from your computer.
    13. Save it to the database.
    14. Open a web browser and from there, you're on your own.
    Fortran in VMS. Much easier and faster. I'm convinced the proliferation of the web is a detriment to the world at large...On the other hand, I'm also waiting for the Dodgers to return to Brooklyn.

  • My iPad2 is stuck with a popup that says "iCloud Backup"

    My iPad2 is stuck with a popup with the title of iCloud Back up that states
    "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks.  Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi"  I click OK and nothing happens.  I cannot power down the device either.  I can't get away from the pop up to connect it to a new wifi connection because I'm on vacation and there is no apple support.  Someone please help!?!?!
    I'm out of ideas of what to do I appreciate any/all assistance.  Thank you!!!!

    See if you can quit all apps and then restart the iPad.
    In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    If that doesn't work, reset the iPad.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    After restarting or resetting - - go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>iCloud Backup>On - then tap Back up Now to backup the iPad to iCloud.

  • LOV with custom popup in af:query

    Hi,
    We have a use case where we need to display an LOV field in Search Panel (af:query). But, the LOV in Search Panel should be displayed with a custom popup.
    Is it possible display a field in Search Panel as input LOV with custom popup ?

    Hi,
    Is it possible display a field in Search Panel as input LOV with custom popup ?
    Yes. You assign a LOV definition to the attribute that then you display in the af:query component. You can also have dependnet LOV implemented this way. However, you cannot have a custom (your own) list of value popup dialog used

  • Tab focus issue with 2 popups open

    Hi!
    I've just got a nasty problem with 2 popups and a tab focus.
    First poup automatically opens second popup and if you press TAB
    key focus goes to the first popup window - underneath the top one.
    As a matter of fact - if you open the second popup by
    clicking on the button in the first window - no problem. It happens
    only if the first window opens second via AS.
    I've found on the internet the following
    article:
    But my joy was premature - this piece code:
    quote:
    SystemManager.activate( popup );
    is simply uncompilable. I tried other methods, like:
    this.systemManager.activate(this);
    without any luck.
    Does anybody know the solution to this problem?
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers,
    Dmitri.

    Manfred,
    Thanks for your reply. I tried requestFocus() and it gives the same results. Also Sun's 1.4.0 API (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/) mentions the following with respect to the requestFocus() method in the JComponent class:
    Because the focus behavior of this method is platform-dependent, developers are strongly encouraged to use requestFocusInWindow when possible.
    That is why I used requestFocusInWindow.

    I'm not sure what you want to achieve?
    Do you have a problem with displaying pop-ups and can't you open a pop-up or do you want to suppress a pop-up or do you get a notification?

  • BUG JDeveloper with OTPC extension lockup

    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0 with Oracle Team Productivity Center 11g on Windows XP. I am also connecting to a locally installed Oracle Team Productivity Center server running on a WebLogic 11g Server with Oracle 10g Express database although that is probably irrelevant. I am launching JDeveloper in the Default Role.
    I encountered a bug that consistently causes a lockup which forces a force quit. Below are the steps to reproduce:
    1) In the Team Navigator view navigate to Team Administration
    2) Go to the Repositories tab
    3) Click Work Item and then the Plus to add a new repository
    4) Select the Jira connector (only one I have installed and probably irrelevant) and click the Plus to add
    5) Close Team Administration and Reopen to Repositories tab
    6) Click the new repository you created
    7) Ctrl-Left Click on the 'New Repository Server' field in the Name column of the Repository Servers table
    8) On the warning dialog that popups click OK or X
    9) The dialog text and OK button dissapears and the dialog can not be closed through hitting X or verbal threats
    Surprisingly this does not occur if the field is Left Clicked (without the Ctrl)
    I also encountered a second issue during Oracle Team Productivity Center Server install. The gist of it is that selecting that you want a Connector to be installed the Next button does not work upon reaching the select sources page. If you change to install from local file then the Next button works again. Here is exception from tpcinstaller.log:

    Hi,
    Thanks for this feedback, I am looking into it and will get back to you. Have you been able to work around this issue and continue to use TPC with your JIRA repository?

  • Taskflow context not maintained with ADF popups

    JDev build: JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101212.1926.5912
    A coworker also reproduced this using JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923
    This is a simple WebCenter custom app created using JDev. I'm seeing exceptions when canceling a popup that contains a taskflow (the DocViewer taskflow). The popup was launched from another taskflow called Content Presenter. Upon canceling the popup (i.e., clicking the 'x' in the upper right corner), I see this error message in a javascript alert:
    "Target Unreachable, 'presenterNavigationBean' returned null
    ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #1"
    In the server console, I see these exceptions (abbreviated to keep this post a bit smaller, but I can provide the entire stack trace if necessary):
    java.lang.IllegalStateException: The expression "#{bindings.rbxzy5vg6jr1.regionModel}" (that was specified for the RegionModel "value" attribute of the region component with id "oc_4478173184region1") evaluated to null.
    This is typically due to an error in the configuration of the objects referenced by this expression.
    If it helps, the expression "#{bindings.rbxzy5vg6jr1}" evaluates to "null".
    If it helps, the expression "#{bindings}" evaluates to "portal_cpPageDef". Now using an empty RegionModel instead.

    (basically the same thing as above repeats a few times) presenterNavigationBean is the bean for the Content Presenter taskflow which launched the popup.
    The steps I'm taking to see this problem are:
    1. Launch JDev and create a WebCenter app, accepting all defaults. This requires the WebCenter extension, i.e., oracle.webcenter.framework_bundle.zip
    2. Create a content repository connection to an Oracle Content Repository
    3. Create a jspx in Web Content/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pages using the global page template (select that checkbox). I typically call it cp.jspx, thus the references to "portal_cpPageDef" in the exceptions above.
    4. Open the jspx in source view, place the cursor after the pageTemplate tag, and add a "page customizable" component from the Oracle Composer group in the Component Palette. Save the page.
    5. Open Web Content/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pagehierarchy/pages.xml and drag your jspx to the root of the hierarchy. Save all pages.
    6. Run the Web Content/index.html page.
    7. Login using weblogic/weblogic1
    8. Click on the page you created in the toolbar
    9. Click "shift + ctrl + E" to put the page in edit mode.
    10. click the "Add Content" button (it launches a popup)
    11. In the popup, click on "Content Management"
    12. Click on "Add" next to the Content Presenter taskflow and close the popup
    13. Now select an HTML document from the content repository by using the Content Presenter wizard (click on the first wrench icon in the chrome). If you don't have one, you'll have to add it to the repository.
    14. In the Content Presenter wizard, select the "Preview" page
    15. click the "Open in Document Viewer" button. This launches the DocViewer taskflow in an ADF popup.
    16. Click the cancel button in the upper right corner.
    17. This is when the javascript alert will show the errors mentioned above. The server console in JDev will show the stack traces.
    Please let me know if this is a configuration issue on my end or a bug within ADF. I'll monitor this thread closely today to provide any information that could be helpful asap. Thank you.

    It's the bean that the Content Presenter taskflow uses. All I did was create a page using the global page template and added the Page Customizable component to it, then customized the page to have an instance of the Content Presenter taskflow. I can use Content Presenter normally until I attempt to edit an HTML doc (which launches the DocViewer taskflow in an ADF popup). At that point I start seeing binding errors, like the taskflow context is lost.

  • Is anyone else having bug issues with InDesign?

    I'm trying to do homework with the version I purchased, and I keep running into bugs. Everything is extremely slow. When I scroll, zoom, and move an object, the program keeps skipping on me. When I place an image from Illustrator, there are other paths that show up that were not on the original image. And with those same images, the strokes and fills are all read as red slashes. They should be question marks since they are a combination of paths. And lastly, when I try to use the eye dropper to copy the color of a placed image, I get a popup saying, "Image is a vector graphic. Eyedropper values based on low resolution RGB proxy."
    I think there might be some bug in InDesign, and it's really hard for me to work. It can't be my computer. I have Illustrator as well, and that one works fine despite scrolling speed. So is anyone else having these problems, or might there be something wrong with my version?

    I use CS6 on Windows 7.
    My default interface preference was set to Live Screen Drawing: Delayed. I tried changing from that, it was the same deal. I have noticed though, that performance is a lot slower when Display Performance under Object.
    For the extra lines showing up, I can't seem to find that same problem again, so I can't use a screenshot.
    SRiegal, I don't get what you mean by copying the colors. If you say that InDesign cannot copy the color of vector graphics, then how can I recreate them not knowing the exact values?

    When exiting taskflow (pressing Cancel command button on the popup that points to taskflow return activity) first time nothing happens , second time NPE as show below
    It works sometimes and does not work other times and
    RootViewPortContextImpl rootViewPort = getCurrentRootViewPort();
    rootViewPort.getPageFlowStack().expireSnapshots(this, max.intValue());
    //rootViewPort  is null and throws NPEthird time
    oracle.adf.controller.internal.AdfcIllegalStateException: oracle.adf.controller.ControllerException: ADFC-12000: State ID in request is invalid for the current session.
    It acting up so weirdly and there is no consistency in the behavior, something is going on with Session since Clearing the Browser History and trying the same thing works, but it happens so random and really hard to know what's going on
    It looses the RootViewPortContext, can anyone explain me what's going on here, it seems like , its impossible to use this thing

  • Bug in table selection popup

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create a "report with links to form on a table". After selecting the table/view owner you can select the table/view name from a popup. This popup doesn't work. I get a 404 page not found and in the error log from the http server:

    This seems like a bug to me.

    Thanks for reporting that. You might be able to use a different browser as a workaround. Please see 1056's response to 412374 about this: Re: Bug? Getting Error 404 in Wizards
