Bug with Printable Page button using minimal LAF

I posted this as part of another thread before...
I have confirmed that when I use the minimal LAF, OHW does not correctl display the printable page when I click the Printable Page button. The resulting page still has the page headers, plus a distorted screen area. I confirmed this both with my OHW application and with the UIX Help helpset that's based on OHW.

This also occurs when I use an override LAF based on simple.

"Printable Page" button causes isBackNavigationFired(true)

I ve got the following problem
I have a train implemented with 3 pages. On every page we don't allow the users to use the BrowserBack button.

    }     Page 3 (Review page) contains the "submit" and a "Printable Page" button.

When we press the submit button, everything is saved correctly. but when we first use the "Printable Page" button (opens a new window) and then submit, the OA framework detects that we used the BroweserBack Button. Submitting the data becomes impossible.
Does anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, or is this normal behaviour.

You will not be able to get around this. When you navigate to your printable page, the framework increments the oapc parameter (it adds 1 to the original value). When you then go back and action something on the previous page, the framework compares the value in the URL with the value it stores in memory. If the values do not match it re-fires processRequest because the bean hierarchy could be invalid (it's probably not in your case).
So you will have to think of a way around this.
Why are you not letting users use the back button? You can write your application so that you code around any use of the back button. For example, if you are passing parameters on the request, put them on the transaction. When the user hits the back button, OA Framework will re-execute processRequest, if the parameters are null you can fetch them from the transaction (assuming it is retained).

Hide link after printable page button in iExpense

In iExpense after submiting the claim there is a printable page button appears by which user can get the print of the
claim raised. But ont point is there ... in printout of the claim (hardcopy) .. in the footer area of the paper .. a
link appears i.e. http://erpdev.mycompanyname.com:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OASF=OIE_EXPENSE_R..
my client doesn't want that link in print out of the claim but I am unable to find that link in my OAF page...thant link
only appears in printout.
Is there any idea to hide that link in printout..

Creating publishing page in specific folder and with custom page layout using JSOM

I have a site collection under my root, in which I have a page library with a folder inside. I want to create a publishing page inside the folder using JSOM. The API provides the following information on the three possible ways of how you can create a publishing
page.
PublishingPageInformation with all defaults.
PublishingPageInformation.Name and PublishingPageInformation.PageLayoutListItem.
PublishingPageInformation.Name, PublishingPageInformation.PageLayoutListItem and PublishingPageInformation.Folder.

Since I want to create the page in a specific folder in the page library, I have to go for the last option.
I have a function call chain that look as follows:

The first two methods,

The problem occurs when
addPublishingPage
is called. This method, in turns calls this function.

The error happens when this function is called with the page information object.
SP.Publishing.PublishingWeb.addPublishingPage(pageInformation)
Error:
Cannot read property '$2t_0' of undefined
and it happens in SP.Runtime.js.
I've tried this
sample code from the MSDN-team, and added the pagelayout and folder properties, but it renders the same error.
Creating a page directly in the page library with a blank SP.PublishingPageInformation object works perfectly fine!
What could possibly be wrong? The error isn't something that I can debug myself since it happens in SP.Runtime.js, and the documentation for this is very sparse!
Any help on how to resolve this issue would be helpful!

Printing bug with logical page numbers

I have a PDF file set up with logical page numbering. If I want to print page 7-10 and type this in the Pages field, Reader prints physical pages 7 through 10 from the PDF file instead of logical page 7-10. I tried it in Reader X and XI and the problem occurs in both. I am pretty sure it worked in early versions, but I don't know what version it stopped working on. Is this a known issue?

Could it be that this file contains duplicate page labels? Can you share the file?

Even with "Allow pages to use their own fonts" enabled, firefox sill dictates fonts on some sites. WTF.

I built my website to show some work I did, everything was fine in firefox 3.6 but i upgraded today and now the font styles i wrote into the page are being overridden somehow.
Yes, i checked allow pages to use their own fonts.

That should work unless the specified font is missing or corrupted and in that case you need to (re)install that font.

Malfunction with Web Page Buttons/Tabs

I am running the latest versions of Flash Player, and I run Windows 7. Until a few days ago, I was able to use the Internet normally. Now I have lost some function: The browser seems to read web page tabs and some buttons (although curiously not all) as images instead of as links. Even then, I cannot always log into my account on a given site, nor can I switch tabs.
For a specific example, on my local library's web page, I cannot place a hold using the Hold button either in the catalogue search screen or in the item's record. I cannot log onto yugiohcardmaker at all. I cannot switch tabs on the Aeria Games Free AP offers page. I can still log in on other pages, so this loss of partial function is curious and frustrating.
I do not know whether this is an issue with Flash Player, but the last time I had compatability issues with Real Player and Photobucket, software versions were part of the issue. Please let me know what you find. I have tried using Firefox and Chrome, and neither work with these functions.

You would need a library card and account to test the libraries' buttons. If you have one, they can be tested on the Markham Public Library catalogue (http://markham.bibliocommons.com/search?t=smart&search_category=keyword&q=graphic+novels&c ommit=Search) and the Richmond Hill Public Library catalogue (http://richmondhill.bibliocommons.com/search?t=smart&search_category=keyword&q=graphic+nov el&commit=Search). Having trouble with home page buttons

I created a project that has more than 20 states so to accomodate this I used the functionality to create a custom component with sub states. However, I seem to be having a problem with the buttons on my home page (Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, etc). They work fine the first time visiting the home page and link to the first state within each custom component as I'd like them to and as I've assigned in the button properties. However, once a user clicks through all the states within a component and returns to the home page, if they click the button for that chapter again, they are directed to the last state within the component. What am I doing wrong? I have these home screen buttons configured to link to the page that represents the starting point for each chapter. If I try changing the button to configure to automatically transition to the custom component state 1 instead of a page then it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Haven't been able to call due to health issues. Hope to be able to call soon, but tried to move WiFi as much as I can. Upgraded to Quantum, so the WiFi router is connected via ethernet to the main box (if I remember correctly). Then the Gateway device is connected to the router via ethernet cable. Can I just remove that cable or do I have to set it up to be wired? I really can't move the two routers out of our bedroom. Thanks and I will hopefully be able to call within the next couple of days.

APEX 4.2 bug with mobile page submit action

Hi,
I am using the APEX 4.2 mobile theme which has a "Select List" page item and where the "Page Action when Value Changed" is set to "Submit Page". The submit works when the values are in pull down but when the values come from popup window then it does not.

Creating 'print this page' button using AS3

I need to create a button, or at least a movie clip that
functions like a button that will print a page when clicked.
Ideally I would like to have the button as part of the flash
application, which will be online embedded into a web page as a
.swf. on click the print page dialog box will appear, and the user

sure. the swf's main timeline is a movieclip, so if you want
to print everything that's on the swf stage, use the printjob()
class to print the main timeline.

Rendering bug with absolutely positioned button tags

I'm using Firefox 10.0.1 and I've found a bug regarding button elements that are absolutely positioned. The problem is setting both the right and left CSS attributes does not affect the width of the button as it should.
Here is some example code to show what I mean (the forum is mangling the html, hopefully you can get the gist of it):<br />

In all other browsers the button will be 500px wide. In Firefox, it will fit to the text.

Why don't you give that button a width:100% if you want it to take the full width of that DIV container?

Create custom web-part page with OOTB page layout using CSOM (Javascript)

Hi,
I need to create a custom webpart page with a OOTB page layout (eg. Header 3 column footer) using JSOM.

But here i have to copy the page template from 15 hive and store it in a resource file and I am also getting error as "The request message is too big" and to fix this I need to run a powershell script but I need the code to run in SharePoint online
also.
Isn't there a simpler piece of code in which I can enter the name of the page layout(OOTB/Custom) while creating a page in JSOM as we have in SSOM?

Odd bug with internal page hyperlinking, any ideas? (CS5)

I'm adding hyperlink functionality to selected lines of text in order to give interactivity/navigation to different pages of my 70 page document. I'm using the New Hyperlink dialog box, I select 'Page' from the pull down menu, but I can only select up to page 4. This is a problem since I would like to access pages 5-70. In case the file was corrupt, I created a new blank document for testing, and the same thing is happening, page 4 maximum. If I type in a number larger than 4 then this error pops up ... "That page does not exist. There are 4 pages in the document, and the value must be between 1 and 4." .... yet I have 70 pages and I have not used chapters or breaks or anything like that.
Does anyone have an idea around this one?

How to print ALV with full page width used?

Dear all,
I have a report which print out with a small font if some of the fields have a long data content, while there a large white space on the right hand side.
After a few test, I think the following cause the problem:
1) The line column is less then the page column
2) The setup leave write space unused in the right side
(Tested by setup a format which have the same column count as the testing print out data)
Would like to know are there any work around on this.

But it look like that it only affect the column width but not the migrate, anyone have any idea about the migrate setting?
And I would like to know if I can:
- Setup a limit for the long text limit
- It the text over the limit, go to 2nd line

Printable page's with buttons

Hi all,
In some of the custom page's we have a printable page button where user can take print out of page from PRINT option in FILE menu .
Recently we have upgraded to R12 and we are facing a strange issue where when we click printable page button we are getting buttons on that page .
Generally, printable page is a Read only page which will not be having any navigation, action controls(Buttons), It will be an image of our original OAF Page .
Pls help me on this as client dont want to have any buttons on that page .
Properties :-

Attribute set :- /oracle/apps/fnd/attributesets/Buttons/PrintablePage
