BUILD FAILED: beahome not set

error out of left feild...
Working on a Unix (Solaris) machine trying to set up a new single-server domain with the wlserver/wlconfig Ant tasks. I have edited the .profile file to read the setWLSEnv.sh file but WLServer tasks is throwing a funny error (namely one shouldn't have to set the beahome Ant attribute to run wlserver):
file:/program/tp/REL_WLSAPP.1/wlsapplications/.build_mbp_xml:15: beahome not set at weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLServer.execute(WLServer.java:280)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Task.perform(Task.java:341)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Target.execute(Target.java:309)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Target.performTasks(Target.java:336)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Project.executeTarget(Project.java:1339)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Project.executeTargets(Project.java:1255)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Main.runBuild(Main.java:609)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Main.start(Main.java:196)
at org.apache.tools.ant.Main.main(Main.java:235
The BEA_HOME is exported into the shell (/bin/ksh) environment. According to the Ant description of the wlserver task the beahome attribute isn't required. Wonder why WLS 8.1 SP2 is complaining if the attribute is missing?

I have the same problem.
It seems that the documentation is wrong and the beahome parameter is mandatory.
Another diffence is the action parameter : The documentation speaks about an action="startup" option, but this does nothing, it seems that the good option is action="start".
Do you have solved this problem since september ?

set build.number to 0 if build.number is not set before building. Using the default as "Workspace" breaks builder.
    Modified Paths:
    flex/sdk/branches/3.0.x/build.xml

Although I haven't tried this for buffered digital channels, it works for analog input channels, so give it a shot.
When using analog channels, before you call the AI Start VI, you can wire a vi located in Data Acquisition -> Calibration & Configuration called DAQ Occurrence Config vi. This VI will set an occurrence (like an interrupt) when the buffer reaches a certain size, and then you can perform your read of the buffer accordingly.
The best way to see an example of this VI is to go to LabVIEW/examples/DAQ/anlogin/anlogin.llb/Cont Acq&Chart (Asynch Occurrence). The occurrence will allow the data acquisition thread to still be open, and allow the CPU to perform other tasks while waiting for the occurrence to be set. This sounds exactly like what
    you want.
I just checked the examples/DAQ/digital directory, and there is an example with continuous digital input which uses the DAQ occurrence VI as well, so this should work for you.

    So what am I doing?
I am trying to do? I am trying to sync the sources. (attachment snc2.png)
I already changed/added the java home at 3 locations,
    Visual administrator (attachment snc3.png)
    vmparam file (attachment snc4.png)
I downloaded all the java versions are 32 bit.
But even after doing all these I am still facing the issue.
    My NWDI version and details.
    are ver. 7SP15
    and NWDS is 7.0.12
And the NWDS when I clicked on configuration details I noticed this log and the first few lines are really fishy..

I have problem with the server (DTR) keep disconnecting once in a while, it says
    DTR server http://<hostname>:50000 unreachable.
    Socketclosed...
temporarily what i am doing is that to restart my instance from mmc and that works for a while, I believe it is the FQDN name that I have to change for the dtr, but where can I change that? and also what is the reason that it is able to connect the first few times when i restart the server but not later?
    Thanks for your time.

No, that is not the issue, it was already set as well. But apparently have to change the buildpath in the build variant in the CBS

  • BUILD FAILED - *.RedeployAction not found

    Hi
I installed jdk1.5 and creator2 including wsdp2.0 on my machine. now when I try to compile and run an example I get the error below.
How can I get around this error and can somebody tell me where this class is defined?
    thanks
    khamis

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/enterprise/deployapi/actions/RedeployAction

Did it the same and now it works.
Funny is that the second installation of the creator is completly different from the first one, after accepting the license and installation directory it starts immediatly installing without prompting for user actions.

  • System Partition Not Set. Bcdboot failed! bcdboot.exe

    Hey guys,
I have an issue that I can't get past, and I've completely run out of ideas.
I have an SCCM 2012 SP1 server and it has KB2801987 applied.
From this server, I run a Windows 7 Enterprise x86, and a Windows 7 Enterprise x64 task sequence for bare metal deployment to workstations.
Everything works perfectly fine, EXCEPT when I deploy the Windows 7 Ent x64 WIM, and I've used bootable USB media.
PXE Booting a machine, and running the task sequence that deploys Win7x64 = works perfectly.
Advertising the Win7x64 task sequence to a machine = works perfectly
Booting from a 32-bit boot usb media, running the Win7x64 task sequence -> downloads the boot(x64) WinPE image, then starts deployment = works perfectly
Booting from 64-bit boot usb media, running the Win7X64 task sequence = Task Sequence Error (0x8004005).
I've recreated my USB boot media several times. I've tried different brands/models of USB keys, and I always get the exact same error.
And this is the same error that always happens in my SMSTS.LOG.  It seems it can't set the boot partition, and fails at the every end of applying the WIM image.  And again, this is ONLY when I use USB boot media for THIS particular task sequence.
The exact same TS, WinPE boot image and WIM image work just fine when deployed via any other method.  I guess the only thing I haven't tried yet is to make a bootable CD with the same media to see if I get the same issue.  I will try that as soon
    as I can.
But any ideas/help is appreciated.  Thanks guys.

    http://www.dreamension.net

I am getting the exact same issue as the original post, however strangely only with one model of computer (HP Compaq 6300 Pro tower desktops).
We are using SCCM 2012 SP1 but are not using PXE, USB media only.
Same symptoms, running a deployment task sequence for x64 Windows 7 Enterprise makes it all the way through the Apply OS step which installs a .wim I've captured previously and fails when attempting to copy down the WinPE environment to continue the task
    sequence.
All boot images have been updated to WinPE 4.0 and have the according driver packs added. My format and partition step creates 1 partition to use the whole drive. We do not use a separate partition for system reserved because our FDE product does not play
well with encrypting that partition because it is not an active partition.
Running the initial attempt from an x64 boot key results in failure, but running on an x86 boot key that requires the x64 boot image for deployment will complete. After the initial failure from the x64 key, the machine can't even be deployed from an x86
boot key because it still fails to write to the partition. No combination of diskpart and format from the command prompt has been able to get it deployed yet.
Any other ideas or steps to troubleshoot? I'm open to anything because this is hindering our ability to fully migrate to our 2012 environment.

build.version, build.number & build.sdk are properties that are not being set.  I would assume that they should be set internally somehow.  However, if I manually set them via -D switches (with arbitrary values) I get the following:

I can see where the previous 3 properties are being used in the swc output file name, but now there is a build.report property that is not being set.  How do I know which properties need to be set, and what to set them to?

I was using the 4.5.1 flex SDK but there seemed to be other issues so I just used the link directly from the Ant Task Setup page (instead of using the newest SDK).  Upon following your instructions to ant build from the root directory, everything seemed to work correctly with a few exceptions.  Below is the last part of the output from the build.

So everything seems to be building correctly now, but not executing correctly.  Also, there are still a number of properties that are not being set:
    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
    report:
Skipped because property 'build.report' not set.
    instrument-compile:

    package-instrument:
Skipped because property 'build.instrument' not set.
    pmdReport:
Skipped because property 'build.pmd' not set.
Where should these values be set and what are appropriate values?  What could be causing the socket timeout and what exactly is it waiting for or attempting to accomplish with the sockets?
The end goal is to be able to use the flex SDK, flexunit and ANT on a linux server to automate my build/test process.  I am currently just trying to get ANT to work with the flex SDK and flexunit on a windows XP box so I can see what the output should be and how the whole system works before trying to inject it into my CI system.

  • WRT160N - LELA FAILED - ERROR - MSG_100_000_003 & Object ref not set to an instance of an object

First of all I would like to say I'm very disappointed with Cisco/Linksys support. I made 6 phone calls and spent about 3 hours on hold and being connected to someone else over the course of about two weeks. The Tech supportin this particular case was the worst I have ever experienced. Regarding the problem - make sure that you do not have any items in the start up such as Linksys EasyLink Advisor and in particular nmctxth unchecked. Also, check that your Anti-Virus does not have the app blocked. I was instructed to uninstall and reinstall about six different times - which I did. This never solved anything. Then I notice a program named "Pure Networks", this appears to be app associated with LELA. The best I could tell this does not get uninstalled and reinstalled like the rest of the program. So I chased the app down to Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pure Networks\Setup\PlatformSetupInstaller_0.msi . Executed this program which initiated an install program for the same and selected the REPAIR option from the three options (Repair\Modify\Uninstall). After about two or three minutes the program indicated the Repair had completed and the PC needed to be rebooted. Which I did and now the program (LELA) works with no issues. I think when you uninstall and reinstall the LELA program this never gets executed. So when you manually run the program it actually gets executed. I performed this Repair when the file: PlatformSetupInstaller_0.msi was selected and actually executed. The following error messages were indicated before the issue was resolved:
    Error
    MSG_100_000_003
Cannot find Platform service, make sure that the service is correctly installed on your machine.
    Error
Object ref not set to an instance of an object.
    Error
    1628
These errors occured when various items were selected in LELA and after reboot on reinstall. And by the way LELA would be blank with no Network Map present. If you go through the log files under the Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pure Networks and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Linksys\Lela, then search for the word fail, you will turn up these errors in bits and parts. The registry key:  4CDCB1A1-87EE-49AB-9A9F-E270FC5DB823 led me to the Pure Networks program or I might not have figured it all out.
All of these error messages are related to the log files in either folder indicated above.
I hope this helps everyone - again the support was pitiful and I really expected more.

The Linksys Link Network Advisor (LELA) sometimes works, most of the times does not on our "House-PC"; we have to install the disk again when it gets stuck to make it work. Also, in order to make changes to our network, we can do it easily on its web site, but the LELA will not synchronize it sometimes; so we have to go again and put the disk in to re-install LELA and "synchronize" it; though in reality, it is as if we are installing LELA for the first time, everytime we want to make changes to our network, by the way, a real pain!! After reading the advice above, I also installed Sisco's (the Linksys parent company) Network Magic software and now all my computers in my network work seamessly, and perfectly well. I can even share my printers now!! Thanks for this advice; very helpful indeed.
    a happy network administrator

and allocated to 2.5GB RAM to use.
3rd machine - Working as Node1 and its name is "AconNODE1W2K12STD"
and allocated to 1.5GB RAM to use.
and the windows virtual cluster name is "AconWinCLTR". While I am doing the SQL Cluster Installation, I am getting below mentioned error. all systems have 4.5 .net installed. May you please guide me where and what i am missing to complete sql clustering.....

  • Event ID 1502 and 6398 : Translation Service Application is failing to execute. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    hi,
We have deployed Sharepoint 2013 in hosting mode. And i followed this
guide. And i have 1 web server, 1 app server and 1  DB server. My Application server is logging 2 critical event after every 15 min.
Event ID: 1502, Task Category: Timer Job, Source: SharePoint Translation Services
"Timer job '735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2' for service application 'Translation Service Application' is failing to execute. More information is included below.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "
Followed by this one one more critical event,
Event ID: 6398, Task Category: Timer , Source: SharePoint Foundation
"The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.TranslationServices.QueueJob (ID 735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2) threw an exception. More information is included below.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I tried to search everywhere, but no solution. Because of this two critical events AppFabricCaching service is also crashing.
Any suggestion how i can fix this?
    SaM

    Hi  SaM,
According to your error message, it says that the Timer job '735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2' for service application 'Translation Service Application' fail to create due to some referred object cannot
be found. For this issue, it can be caused by missing assembly .
Could you please provide detail error message of ULS log  to determine the exact cause of the error?
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

  • SQL 2012 install fails with 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

Hi, I'm trying to install SQL 2012 RTM Enterprise on a Windows 2008 R2 single node cluster.
The installer starts goes through some checks and then fails with the message 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' It happens while the small 'wait while...' dialog box is
showing, another window pops up briefly (I think the feature selection window - can't really tell as it doesn't draw before disappearing). Then the ‘Object reference not set’ message comes up.
    From the summary log file..
