Build Issue(package weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle does not exist) weblogic10

Hi All,
I am getting below build error. I am migrating weblogic 10. Which jar file contains this interface: weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinClob?
Error:
package weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle does not exist [javac] if (theClob instanceof weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinClob)
I already got weblogic.jar file from weblogic 10.
Thanks,
Srinivas

    Creating my Oracle connection works fine ... code as follows:
    <i>Context ctxt = getInitialContext();
    DataSource dataSource = (DataSource) ctxt.lookup(poolName);
    Connection conn = dataSource.getConnection();
    OracleConnection oracleConn = (OracleConnection)((WLConnection)conn).getVendorConnection();</i>
    I also have reviewed documentation:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/jdbc/thirdparty.html. In section 'Using OracleStruct Extension Methods' it highlights that
    <i>java.sql.Struct struct =(weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleStruct)(rs.getObject(2));</i>
    None of the documentation actually mentions <b>oracle.sql.STRUCT</b>. For Weblogic to truely provide support for Oracle it needs an easy way of converting to this data type. At present I cannot interact with Oracle APIs until I can create an oracle.sql.STRUCT.

  • Where did weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinBlob go?

    I just upgraded from 8.1sp4 to 10.1 and the problem I am facing is that the import
    import weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinBlob;

    -Joe

    Hi
    You will find the 'weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinBlob' located in the 'com.bea.core.datasource_1.0.0.0.jar'. You will find this jar in the modules directory, in the top level of your WebLogic 10 installation
    e.g. for me, it is located in:
    C:\wls10\modules\com.bea.core.datasource_1.0.0.0.jar

  • The build directory of the test run either does not exist or access permission is required.

    i am trying to run automated tests
    i follow the steps in the web but when i have 2 issues that does not solve
    1. i created console project and add build definition without drop folder and queue builds that success.
    2. i created C# unit test and add build definition and run it from VS and it worked and done what i want to do.
    3. i built lab with 1 machine and define the controller on this pc ( the machine in the lab is another pc)
    4. i created test suite with test cases and from vs 2013 i associated automation nethod that i created in 2.
    5. when i try to associate the builds for the test plan i have a PROBLEM(1):
    this happened every new build that i try to assign - all the builds appears after refresh and when i press assign to plan button
    a pop up shown with error : " The build that you selected for this plan no longer exist " but he chose it in build in use but there no work item under it - the list is empty even that there are 2 tests under this test suite.
    and than when i try to run the automated tests i have this PROBLEM(2):
    The build directory of the test run either does not exist or access permission is required. and the test failed.
    Please Help
    Roey

    Hi Rory,
    Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
    According to the error message:
    (1) a pop up shown with error : " The build that you selected for this plan no longer exist "
    I tried to create a build definition without the drop folder location for unit test solution from the VS IDE, and then I try to select the Build in use option to add the Available builds, then click this Assign to plan. I found that I get same error message
    with yours like the following screen shot.
    However, when we try to create a build definition with drop folder location for this same unit test solution and then build successfully in the VS IDE.
    After you add the Available builds and then click this Assign to plan in the MTM, it work fine.
    Therefore, I assume that the issue is related to that you did not specify a build directory for automated test case. MTM need to know where is the drop location of the build building your tests.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20033217/couldnt-run-my-test-using-microsoft-test-manager
    In addition, I did some research about the problem 2:"The build directory of the test run either does not exist or access permission is required. and the test failed."
    I know that the error message occur in either of the following conditions:
    1. The account under which test controller is running does not have read permission on the build directory. (The build directory is same as the drop location of build associated with this test run.)
    2. The build directory itself does not exist.
    So please refer the following blog to check this issue:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/aseemb/archive/2009/11/25/error-starting-the-test-run-build-directory-of-the-test-run-is-not-specified-or-does-not-exist.aspx
    Therefore, I suggest you can try to specify a drop location for build when you run the automated test from the MTM and then check this issue.

    In this application, I have just by-passed login page(jsp page) and logout from BO. But, it is throwing errors as mentioned below:
    Generated servlet error:
    E:\BusinessObjects\Tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\_\org\apache\jsp\BO_005fHello_005fWorld\login_jsp.java:6: package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework does not exist

    Can anyone please tell me the solution?
    From where I can get the jar files to resolves these problems?
    I tried to search these jar files in BO installation folder but was not able to get.
    Can anyone tell the exact folder path for these jar files, if it is there.
    Or any link to download jar files.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello ,
    -In order to run your application, please copy the Business Objects JAR files from the installed location.
    -For example : If you have installed Business Objects on C:
    then , go to the path :
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\Java\Lib and copy all the Jar files from that location including JAR files that are present in the external folder.
    -Paste these JAR files inside lib folder of your application.
    -The class com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework comes under cesession.jar

  • Classloading error: package net.sf.jasperreports.engine does not exist

    Hi all!
    We are migrating one of our web applications to SAP Web AS (Netweaver CE SR5) but we are facing one problem with finding an external library (Jasper Report).
    Our web application uses Spring and Hibernate and works fine in Tomcat 5.5 or higher.
    The problem is that the package net.sf.jasperreports.engine cannot be found (stack below) despite the jasper report jar is included inside the WEB-INF/lib dir of our WAR.
    Our application´s structure is as follows:
    cpl.ear
    cpl.ear/lib (hibernate´s and other thirdy party jars)
    cpl.ear/Cockpit_oracle9_3_5_0.war
    cpl.ear/Cockpit_oracle9_3_5_0.war/WEB-INF/lib/jasperreports-1.3.1.jar
    Does any body know why the application can´t find the jasper report packages?
    Thanks and regards.

  • OWM says "The directory OH /owm/wallets/oracle" does not exist

    Hello, RHEL 6, x86-64
    Oracle 11.2.0.4 Ent Edition
    I just upgraded the database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.  User reports "ORA-28365: wallet is not open" while trying to access tables in a certain schema.
    I have little experience with Wallet so I find out that I can "open" the wallet using OWM.  I start OWM and follow the instructions in section 9.4.3 of http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/network.111/b28530/asowalet.htm#i1006711, and after step 2 which is to select a directory for the wallet, it tells me, ""The directory <OH>/owm/wallets/oracle" does not exist".  Ahh!  (By the way, this was when I was pointed to the ORIGINAL oracle home (11.2.0.3) because I wanted to see if the wallet existed there.
    Now I am moderately panicked.  What do I try next?  I gotta get the wallet open!
    Thank you in advance for taking the time.
    Humbly,

    Hi,
    If you have TDE encrypted objects, one must open the wallet from the sqlplus.
    1) make sure the sqlnet.ora from your $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin has ENCRYPTION_WALLET_LOCATION parameter set, example:
    ENCRYPTION_WALLET_LOCATION =
    (SOURCE =
      (METHOD = FILE)
      (METHOD_DATA =
      (DIRECTORY = /home/oracle/wallet)
    2) connect as sysdba and run:
       alter system set encryption wallet open identified by "wallet_password";
    3) select wallet status and path from : select * from v$encryption_wallet;
    4) select again from the encrypted objects

    Put the jars or classes in the com.borland.jbcl.layout package into your CLASSPATH. You have referenced them in your program, the compiler is looking for them, but it cannot find them, so it cannot compile your program.

  • Build Question: error 7 occurred at source does not exist

    I have VIs built in LabVIEW 6.1. It works and built well. In LabVIEW
    7, It works well. But when I try to build it. I got error.
    I first use the mass conpile to compile VIs and then build the exe
    with default settings. I got:
    Error 7 occurred at source does not exist
    Possible reason(s):
    LabVIEW: File not found. The file might have been moved or deleted,
    or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the operating
    system. For example, use \ as path separators on Windows, : on Mac OS,
    and / on UNIX.
    NI-488: Non-existent board.
    But It does not point out which file does not exist.
    Anyone can help me out?

    Hello yqin,
    Here are some more KnowledgeBases that may pertain to your issue.
    Error 7 When Building Applications and DLLs That Use the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit
    Why Do I Get Error 7 When Building an Executable from a Build Script?
    Error 7 at Invoke Node When Building a LabVIEW Executable
    If the above KnowledgeBases do not work, we will want to try the following procedure.
    1. Open your Main VI.
    2. Hold + a
    nd click the run arrow (forces recompile).
    3. Close the VI and mass compile it.
    4. Keep the VI closed and build the application from scratch (do not use a script).
    5. Ensure that all VIs called dynamically are included as support files before building.
    Please let me know if you have any questions,
    Matt

  • Package com.sun.java_cup.internal does not exists

    I installed JDK 1.6_27 and jre 1.6_27 on a Windows 7, 64 bit
    and fetched Java Code which use to run with java version 1.5_06.We are doing a java update.I am getting the error message
    com.sun.java_cup.internal does not exist.
    Does that mean my Java is not installed properly?Where to check if java_cup is present in my system or not
    Please help
    Thanks,

    Looks like the developers of that code relied on something that is not part of the official documented Java API (packages that start with java, javax or org). Packages starting with sun or com.sun are Sun proprietary internal implementation packages and as such are not guaranteed to be available from version to version or from Java vendor to Java vendor. So your installation seems ok, but your program is not.
