Business Catalyst Web Forms

I've set up a web form with an autoresponder for employment inquiries. However, I want to change the address employment inquiries are being sent to. Right now they go to: info@ourcompanyname.
I want them to go to employment@ourcompanyname
How do I change this address.

Usually, a webform has a workflow associated with it. When the form is submitted by someone on the site, the workflow get's executed, and it usually send a workflow notification message to the users in the Role that's set up in the workflow. So to add another user to receive the workflow, look at the form properties to see which workflow is executed and then go to Site Settings->Workflows and edit that specific workflow. Either add the extra user you want to the Role Responsible (by going to Site Settings->Manage Users and then Manage Roles) or tick the "also send notification message to" checkbox and enter the second email address: http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/Florin/2013-12-12_1700.png

Help with Business Catalyst Web forms and Adobe Muse.

I created a websform to log into a secure zone using business catalyst. I pasted the webform's html into Adobe Muse. After publishing my site. The websform I created in business catalyst is deleted, but I can see all of the forms that I created using Muse in the webform section. Is there a fix for this problem? Thanks

There is a workaround. It takes a little more work, but it is definitely worth it and will solve your problem. I subscribed and learned from tutorials on the www(.)trainsimple(.)com. They have a video series called "Muse CC Business Catalyst Integration" which was very helpful. The issue that everyone on here is referring to is covered in the 3 videos labelled, "Email Sign Up Checkbox", "Moving Muse Webforms to Business Catalyst" and "Email Marketing".
Essentially, what you want to do is create a form in Business Catalyst, turn that form into a module, assign a tag to that module, then put the tag into Muse using Object > Insert HTML. This will solve Muse deleting the web forms everytime.

Extra Space before Business Catalyst Web Apps

Hi there,
I just got the update and now my Business Catalyst web apps have an extra space before they show up on the page. You can see an example on my website here. The pink box is the web app. I've tried to do everything I can think of but it's not working, it will either have 2 spaces or more.

How do I link my Creative Cloud account with Business Catalyst Web Hosting service?

I'm having difficulty understanding how to access the Business Catalyst service. I have attempted to log in directly to businesscatalyst.com/admin but continue to receive an error login message stating that my username and password are not recognized. I was not able to create a new business catalyst website via Dreamweaver either, despite having successfully logged into my Adobe Cloud account.
The only way I was able to set-up a website for use with Business Catalyst was by logging in via http://www.adobe.com/products/business-catalyst.html, and pressing the "try now" button, which allowed me to create a demo site. This also allowed me to log into BC, but when I attempted to upgrade the site from a trial to the webbasic service, I am asked for a payment method.
I understand that the creative cloud service includes basic web hosting for up to 5 sites and should work seamlessly with DW or Muse, or using the InContext editing options provided via browser, but I am unable to truly access any of this content. Am I doing something wrong here?

Need details on how to move existing website to Dreamweaver CS6 and to Business Catalyst web hosting

     I need assistance with transferring an existing website - imagessays.com - (designed with Dreamweaver CS4) to my Creative Cloud CS6 account - and to web hosting by CS6 Business Catalyst.
   … step-by-step instructions would be most useful. I've got the Dreamweaver CS6 onDemand book, etc., ... I guess I’m just not enough of a geek to work my way through the steps and to get my site back moving ahead online.
    Beyond that, need advice as to how to repair a couple of non-funcitonal links on the site (check out imagessays.com to see a couple of pics that don't work). I'm looking forward to uploading more content and to do major upgrade to the site, but am unable to do so ... need technical support re how to do these simple (should be) things.
    Since setting up the website over 5 years ago, I have migrated from Dreamweaver CS3 to CS4 .... and now to CS6 ... and from a Dell XPS 450 running Windows XP to a Mac Pro desktop running Mac OS X.
These changes of version / machine / OS have separated me from the ability to do the one simple thing that I need to do with this straightforward website, that is: upload new pitchers and writins .
I look forward to assistance and support for this.

Setting up Business Catalyst Web Hosting & Email

I'm a new CreativeCloud subscriber and want to use Business Catalyst (BC) to host two sites I have presently hosted with Yahoo. Switching a site over to BC can be tricky as I need to point my DNS to BC and figure out how email will work. The help pages for email on the BC help site is vague and only offers an example if you happen to use Google Email App (Gmail). I have previously set up my Yahoo email account using POP3 to receive my domain based emails. It works great and I would like to continue using Yahoo to do this. But the settings for POP 3 are not provided by BC. Can you give me any more information about this? Is it possible to use Yahoo to receive my domain based emails?
The other question I have is about how timing and how to move from Yahoo to BC upon updating the DNS to point to BC; what is the best way to do this to insure that the site isn't down at any time? Should I simply point the DNS to BC and once it's active I can cancel my Yahoo hosting? How can I tell when the DNS has switched?
Do you have any other cusotmer support infrastruture, other than this discussion based tool? Do you provide customer support by phone? I'm concerned about switching over to a new web hosting tool that doens't have good and imediate customer support. I've used discussion baesd tools before and they can take a long time to get an answer and occasionally the problem is never answered.

What you need to do is log in to admin console on your site and add a domain to it. That is step 4 in this article http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1741. Then you need to either redelegate DNS to us or point the A-records to us. See step 3 in that same article.
If you decide to redelegate the domain name to us you will need to create an MX record that points back to Yahoo. Ask Yahoo support what their MX record is and once you obtain it you need to set it up under Site Settings > Domain Names. You should set everything up at our end first before redelegating to avoid downtime.
Finally, our support team can be reached through Help and Support link in admin.

Muse Business Catalyst (Contact Form/Kontaktformular)

i've created contact form (widget) in muse. published site to business catalyst.
filled out fields in browser. clicked send and my created "thank you" page showed up.
but the form doesn't get to defined email adress.
i have a creative cloud membership (1 year abo).
i can't push websites live within business catalyst. is that the problem?
and can't i push websites live in case i have a creative cloud membership?

Is it possible to add business catalyst web app- such as custom listings to muse?

I'd like to add a custom real estate listing database to adobe muse. I figured out that i could create this on business catalyst, but i'd like to import it into muse. I tried following this video but i can't seem to get anything but the code to show up. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how?

Yes it is very possible. You will need to be using the eCommerce plan on Business Catalyst. You would create your page templates in Muse but then you would have to use Business Catalyst to create the layouts to display your custom data. There is some tutorials over at BCGurus.com I believe.
It can be done but does take some good working knowledge of how Business Catalyst works.

Using contact form created in DW with Business Catalyst (was: form submit)

Hi.
I hope some one can help. My son has built a contact form which he wants the contents to be sent to his email address when they submit it. His site is built using Dreamweaver and is hosted on BC, he has not used BC modules to build the site it was solely built in Dreamweaver CC and uploaded to BC. Can any one tell us what code we should be using for the form to be sent to his email as we are not sure what BC will accept.

Different Page for Parts of Business Catalyst Order Form

can you help me with placing each part of the ordering process on a different page
i.e. billing information on a page then click "next" to a new page that has the shipping information then click "next" to get to the credit card info page then a button to submit order

The BC order form needs to be on that page, But my question is why would you want to do that?
That old concept of multistep page and page and page click through process makes the process longer and more fustrating for your users.
What do you want to achieve?

My Adobe Business Catalyst (Web Hosting) continues to function, however, I require immediate need to return to MUSE to edit my website. HELP!

Please assist me on getting my website back into MUSE for simple editing and more... My ability to return to MUSE needs direct attention. Or, I have to rebuild the enter website with a different domain name.

Bootstrao nav menu on business catalyst web site(dwt)

I am trying to make a nav menu using bootstrap on a BC website template in dreamweaver but the nav menu doesnt work, the nav menu button doesnt do nothing wen we click it and it shows on the desktop view too.(all its still blank and with no css classes)

Getting Business Catalyst Forms working with Muse in Webmarketing Package

Hi All,
I am having problems with forms using BC Webmarketing packaging and Muse.
When I past the html code for the BC form into a Muse page then upload it I get the following error message

and the web form is deleted from my Business Catalyst web Forms list.
What is the best solution for integration between BC and Muse.
I want to be continually updating aspects of both.
Can I quarantine some BC pages that Muse will not update?
Any suggestions would be great.

The problem is that when I update the Muse template page with the BC code
{tag_pagecontent}
The Business Catalyst template it is based on this doesn't update or screws up the page.
Registration
The form is there as I have used it a number of times but the template page doesn't load properly

Trouble with Business Catalyst FORM in Muse

I created a contact form at Business Catalyst, added it there to a published web page, copied the HTML, and inserted the HTML in Muse.
I placed the HTML on its own layer, and positioned it on the contact page, then edited it for style. This is what it looks like in Muse (image is cropped):
It looks identical when you Preview the page in Muse.
However, when I publish the site, the form is no longer on the top layer (but underneath the menu -a master page item- which in Muse is on a lower layer than the form); the form itself is positioned at 0,0 on the page, OUTSIDE the page boundary as specified in Muse, and all other page elements (except the master page items) are moved below the form vertically, but not together as designed in Muse: most (but not all) of them are stacked vertically at the bottom of the page.
In other words, the entire page layout is destroyed.
Here is what the published page looks like (image is cropped - upper-left corner is shown):
I cannot share the URL due to NDA, but I am allowed to share it privately with support staff.

BC Gurus has free tutorials about Secure Zone, below are the links.
But these tutorials don´t show how to integrate these features into Muse.
I am sure that Chris Kellett (MuseGrid) or Steve Harris (Muse Themes) know how to do that but I don´t know how much they are charging for instructions.
