Business Hub reporting inaccurate speeds.

Question

Hi guys,
So as some of you may already know from my numerous broadband issues, I have a 2700HGV Business Hub. Now I like to squeeze every last kB out of my broadband as I'm pretty desperate. My router is telling me that I have a rate of 944kbps which would actually be quite a nice speed for my line, though I have seen it at 1.2+ meg before. The problem is, this is not the actual speed I'm getting. I'm only getting 78-80kBps which is about 624-640 kbps. Obviously this is quite a substantial difference. What's going on, is there any way to get the displayed speed? Oh and it's not a faulty router, all 3 of my 2700HGVs have done this.

Yes I'm on a long line, and the router is already plugged into the test socket (with a filter on obviously). Here are the stats.

Now even with this slightly lower speed of 920kbps I'm still only actually getting about 620kbps.
