Business Process Procedure for Internet sales

Hi all, can any send me the Business Process Procedure for B2B and B2C Scenarios.
thanks in advance
[email protected]

Hi Vasanth,
Well in both the cases the generic business process will not be very different.
I mean in both the cases authentication will be there from users.
once you enter into the webshop you will have the options of make inquiry, order, delivery status, billing status
Infact a visit to any webshop like ebay may be of help to you.
You need to take care of folowing details also:
How are incomplete transmissions handled and reconciled?
How are duplicate transactions reconciled?
What authentication method is used for the customer?
What credentials are passed to SAP?
Are the credentials encoded and triggered within the web?
How are such SAP external credentials stored/ protected?
If storing static credentials by process, are the execute versus read authorities assigned on the web as defined by the operating system (OS)?
Are there considerations made for load balancing?
Between SAP systems and clients?
Between web servers?
What roles and responsibilities exist for business processes?
Is IT, through configuration, managing business agreements?
How are changes to the web site tracked and reconciled with SAP transport
strategies?
Is SAP data stored externally on web servers after extraction?
How is this external SAP data protected?
Does the web server force SAP data to expire?
What are the business and process costs associated with all of the above and is
management aware of the business risk of not taking these steps?
Hope this helps you.
Do award points if you found them useful.
Regards,
Rakesh
P.S. you can send me a mail at my mail id [email protected] for any specific details

  • Final settlement Business Process Procedure

    Hello Experts
I have done the configuration for the final settlement in IMG. But i need to know the business process procedure for the final settlement. Anyone with an idea please help me on this business process.
    Regards
    David

    Hi David,
please refer to the F1 documentation of the field settlement typ in the selection screen of transaction RESRSE.
    Final settlement
During final settlement, the system settles those real estate contracts that are defined as having a final settlement period (in their settlement frequency). Final settlement is performed to make adjustments to a standard settlement that are necessary due to certified sales reports.
Hope this information is helpful for you.

  • Business Process Procedure from SOlution Manager

    Hello Gurus,
I am working on technical upgradation from 4.7 E to ECC 6.0. We will have to create Business Process Procedures for each module. Could you please tell me how we need to extract the BPPS from solution manager.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pavan P.

    Hi Pavan,
The way to extract from BPS may be a long drawn one. The shorter way is to attempt the following:
Go to http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager, supply your OSS ID and password.
    a) On the left hand panel, go to SAP Solution Manager in Detail -> Implementation -> Implementation Content
    OR
    b) Downloads -> view screen on the right hand side and then click on "overview of the current implementation content".
I'll try to figure out any other way and get back to you.
    Best regards,
    Srini

  • SAP standard Business Process Procedures ?

    Hi all,
Some years ago, standard BPPs (Business Process Procedures) were availabe through the old Q&A DB.
    The document type was ZBPP.
When I load new business processes into Solution Manager from the BPR, I get standard documentation, IMG links etc.
Can anybody tell me, if standard BPPs (per transaction code) are still available somewhere??
    Best regards,
    Anni Futtrup

    Anni,
Not sure exactly what docs were available in old QADB.
SAP maintains quite a few of their 'business process procedure' docs in various places in
    http://help.sap.com/bestpractices
If you look, for instance, at Baseline Packages; library of building blocks,
    http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/BBlibrary_start.htm
you can find that many of the building block pages contain one or more SAP BPPs.  Example:
Look at US building block J03 'Financial Accounting'
    http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/html/J03_FI_EN_US.htm
You will see a list of BPP docs, such as 'Down Payment'

  • Business Process Modeling for Online Mobile Solutions

    Hi,
I like to know what are the options available for business process modeling for online mobile applications? I feel Guided Procedure can be used for that but one issue is the standard GP Runtime view may  not be suitable for Mobile displays and needs to be modified. Is there any other option available specifically for mobile solutions? Also I read in one article in SCN about a product call Mobile Fast Track (MFT) which is supposed to be delivered on Visual Composer. Is it already available? If yes which release and how to get that?
Any pointers on these will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dipankar

Hi Alvaro Hernán Rojas R ,
The product line is the hierarchy of the finished goods.
It is pertinent that the finished goods has emerged due to some process(es) carried on the raw material.
Thus logically you should map in solution manager based on the process only.
The macro process while depicts the processes at the highest level. The Business scenarios, Business Process gives a good idea about how you should go about configuring. The Steps/activities helps you to map in to SAP thro' T/Codes.
From the point of view of all of the below three, namely,
    Easy configuration activities
Easy design of Unit and integration test
Easy activities of Process enhancement and optimization,
the option   Map the process as ISO Standards
    - Several projects : For each product line, will be most ideal.
It is the processes that drives the activities. The control activities like internal control etc are all process based.Given these, divorcing the business process from the configuration -as in -is certainly not a good practice.
    Hope this helps.

    Ramesh

  • Module Business Processes (request for detailed website links)

    Hi,
I'd like to learn more about the different Business processes inside all of the SAP modules. For instance, I'd like to know what Business Processes are included in each SAP Module, what they do, how they are used, what their specific objectives/outlines/uses are and etc.
Please provide online links and documentation that can help me learn more about what each module is and does (in terms of the module specific business processes.)
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello John,
    Take a look at this.

  • Pricing procedure for Depot Sales(CIN Version)

    HI,
Can anyone explain me TAXINJ and
The Pricing procedure for Depot Sales(CIN Version)
alongwith the Condition Types like JMOD,JECS,JECX etc.
    Points will be given
    Regrds,
    Binayak

    Hi Binayak.
JMOD is a FI Tax condition which gets the Basic Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEX2 is a copy of JMOD and is a Sales pricing condition. The value of JEX2 gets posted for Excise account key. This ensures that the cost accounting of excise value paid is done correctly. In cases where commercial invoice is created after utilization the condition value formula 353 ensures that the actual MODVAT utilized is accounted as excise.
Similarly JAED is a FI Tax condition which gets the Additional Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEXA is a copy of JAED and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JEXA.
JSED is a FI Tax condition which gets the Special Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEXS is a copy of JSED and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JEXS.
JCES is a FI Tax condition which gets the CESS from calculation formula 352. JCED is a copy of JCES and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JCED.
    So, Conclusion :---->
JMOD  -- >  Basic Excise duty condition  for FI side.
    corresponding to it,
JEX2 is the Basic Excise duty condition  for SD side.
    That's why
account key to  JMOD is linkes in TAXINJ.
    and
account key to  JEX2 is linkes in JDEPOT.
    Hope this certainly helps you.
Please reward points if found useful to you.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
    Regards,
    Gaurav Raghav.

BPP ( Business Process Procedures ) are the Projects Specific Documents with the

in this we have to give the solution in brief with step by step.
we have to send this accross to the client.
If the user is getting the simillar kind of issue and with out raising the Ticket, He/She can slove this using with this BPP.
Hope this Clarifies your Doubts and Please Reward IF Really Helpful,

  • Business Process Flow for old records

A customer has asked us to decommission the Business Process Flow for a particular security role.
I have done this and all is well for new records.
Unfortunately the Process Bar still appears for old Leads.  I think I can understand the behaviour: if you change the process, the old records will still show process bar that existed at the time they were created.  This includes removing it presumably.
My question is, can I remove the legacy instances of the process bar either through the interface or by code?

Update: I created a command line to update the stageid and processid to NULL.
These fields are now clear, however when I open an affected record the form pops up an error message:
    Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=7.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: Cannot insert duplicate key.Detail:

I can see that the Process Bar is still showing.

  • Kindly explain the step by step procedure for configuring sales order stock

    Hi friends,
can anybody explain the step by step procedure for configuring sales order stock.
Stock that is used for a sales order. It is directly allocated to a sales order. Components can only be used to produce material ordered by the customer and the finished product can only be delivered to the customer via the sales order.
You can manage valuated or non-valuated sales order stock.
If the sales order stock is not valuated, it is managed via a cost collector. The system does not carry out invoice verification postings for goods movements, and you cannot obtain an overview of how the stock is valuated until the end of the settlement period in Controlling.
If the sales order stock is valuated, you have immediate access to its value in Financial Accounting. The assigned accounts are debited and credited as a result of the valuated goods movements.
but i am not clear of how to map it into sap.kindly explain it step by step.

    willaims

  • SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?

Any idea how we can get the SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?  Is this imbedded in Solution Manager?
    Thanks,
    Phani

    Hello Phani,
I suppose you are looking for the solution maps for mySAP ERP (which contains SAP ECC as a component). These maps are not contained in the SAP Solution Manager, but they are delivered with the SAP Solution Composer, an offline PC tool which allows you to browse and pre-scope your own solution (evaluating your solution). The tool itself including the latest solution map content is always available for download at the SAP Service Marketplace:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/s-composer">http://service.sap.com/s-composer</a>
You can also view the mySAP ERP - as part of the cross-industry maps -  right here:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&">http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&</a>
The SAP Solution Manager would then come into play for configuring the respective processes (implementing you solution).
