Buttons and popup menus

Hi,
I created some rollover button symbols. I'm trying to add a second behavior to the slice containing the button (a popup menu). Is this not possible? I've added the behavior, but it doesn't work. Also, I notice the "simple rollover" behavior is locked. I'm guessing that's because it would affect all the buttons (?).
I'm assuming I have to break the symbol apart. Is that right? Or is there some way to add the 2nd behavior on top?
I hope that makes sense. Maybe in this case it's easier to just use rectangles and text for each navigation button. I was trying to speed things up with the symbols.

Click on the button to select it. A behavior handle should appear (it looks like a small target). Click on the behavior handle and choose Add pop-up menu.

POWL: Button and popups

Hi experts,
I have a requirement where I must create a new button in a powl, no problem here, and when I press this button, I have to generate a warning popup which has yes/no buttons.
I have created the button and I have generated the popup, but It is impossible to me customize popup's header, buttons and functionality of them.
Should I create an enhancement in standard comp POWL_TABLE_COMP?
I am a bit lost with this.

In Employee Self Service tab we have POWL table view where list of Shopping Cart number are available,right?
In this screen we have "Shop"/"Display"/"Edit"/"Print Preview" buttons.
My issue is when i click on "Display" or "Edit" button it's opening the Portal Home Page, i.e. the First page we are getting after login to Portal.
In the Manager tab we are also getting the same issue..when we are clicking on any of Work items it is redirecting to Home Page..also "Resubmit" and "Forward Button" is a doing the same thing...
hope you'll be now able to understand the issue....
Experts please help...badly stuck in this issue..

Check-Boxes and Popup Menus

Hi, all!
I'm a relative novice at AppleScript.
What I'm looking for is a way to put a check box (like in a form) into a dialog box. I'd like to put it under some buttons, or a popup menu, which brings me to my next question:
How do you add a popup menu to a dialgo box? It wold be in place of buttons.
I know you can use Interface Builder to do this, but I don't know how to use the Xcode and Interface builder.
I plan on learning soon, but it's kind of a daunting program…
Anyway, any help would be much appreciated!

AppleScript's *Standard Additions* just provides a few simple general purpose dialogs. For dialogs with other user interface items, you will need to use Xcode or third party tools such as CocoaDialog.

Buttons and popups

Hi All,
I've done some looking around but not found anything that really does what I want.
What I need is a button on page 0 (to be used by all report pages) which opens up a small popup to gather details (such as email address and from email), and then calls a database procedure, finally returning to the calling page.
So I could be on report page 1200, press button (Send Email) fill in recipient and sender addresses, click GO or whatever and then it calls the procedure and returns to page 1200.
Any ideas?

Have a look at: Popup not INSERTing into table and not refreshing called page ...
Basically, the popup page submits the data and when the page reloads, there is a bit of javascript that is triggered to close the window. Not exactly what you're trying to do, but may give you the basics

XML and PopUp Menus

Hi ... I'm new to Dreamweaver but I've managed to build an
html page with a PopUp menu and also convert the html page to an
xlst page but I cant get the popup menu to work ... its seems to
object to the 3rd line in the following code ...

The error message when you attempt to preview the page is ...
SAXParseException: The sequence ']]>' is not allowed in

I cant find anything in the documentation saying this
shouldnt work ... can anyone help me ?

Rounded Buttons and Flat Menus [SOLVED]

This is probably something easily dealt with which I haven't managed to find on the forums, but I am using LXDE and was wondering how one gets a desktop with square pointed buttons as in

You need to change your GTK theme. Just grab gtk-chtheme from the community repository and choose a theme.
You maybe want to add some more themes to the list. Please follow the instructions given here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Gtk#GTK.2B_2.x

IFrames and Popup Menus

I have a popup menu and I want the options when
selected to open in an iframe, however there seems to be no way to
do this in Dreamweaver. I guess it need to be had coded to work.
Any help one this issue please?

Push button and Popup

Hi All,
I have an ALV output. Now i have to put a push button on the application toolbar of this output and when i click on the button have to display a pop up. in that pop up i need to put 4 parameters , 3 check boxes and two push buttons.
Can anybody help me in this regard. It will be helpful to me if anybody have a piece of code for my requirement. or else suggest me how to full fill this requirement.

What class in Java corresponds with popup menus(not in menu module) ?
I know that oracle.ewt.lwAWT.lwMenu.LWPopupMenu is corresponds with MenuBar's submenu. I can find Buttons, Text Fields, Menu and other components in my Form-Applet, but I don't know how to find popup menus in forms through Java Bean...

My problem is the layout. I want to simulate a button. I can't put the bean transparent over a button and I can't simulate a button with the bean.
How can I add the popup functionality to a button and not only to the bean? Or any other workaround?

Synchronizing Popup and normal Menus

Hello,
how can I synchronize a Popup menu and a usual Menu in an App - let's say I offer Menu items based on on the selection of the user - these are in the edit menu as well as in a popupmenu that is openend when user presses the right mouse button. Some of them are disabled, some are enabled at a given state. Is it best to use own classes derrived from AbstractCommand to synchronize these two? Im mean - you don't want to look after two menus at a time...

Look at the Action interface. You can use the same action on multiple menus and buttons and when you enagle / disable, change text, change icon etc. the action all menus and buttons are updated too.

How to create popup window with radio buttons and a input field

Hi Guys,
Can somebody give some directions to create a stand alone program to create a window popup with 2 radio button and an input field for getting text value. I need to update the text value in a custom table.
I will call this stand alone program from an user exit.
Please give me the guidance how go about it or please give any tutorial you have.

Hi,
There are multiple aspects of your requirements. So let's take them one at a time.
You can achieve it in the report program or you can use a combination of the both along.
You can create a standalone report program using the ABAP Editor (SE38). In the report program you can call the SAP Module pool program by CALL Screen <screen number>. And then in the module pool program you an create a subscreen and can handle the window popup with 2 radio button and an input field for getting the text.
For help - Module Pool programs you can search in ABAP Editor with DEMODYNPRO* and you will ge the entire demo code for all dialog related code.
For Report and other Module pool help you can have a look at the following:

How to handle the "cancel" button and "close" icon of a popup ?

I have a popup with "cancel button" and "close icon"(on the top right corner of the popup), I want the same operations to be performed on clicking of any of these two components.
Is there a way to handle such situation ?
I read about 2 cases to look into this but they didn't work too well for me.
1. I read about the "popcancellistener" but that listener is called whenever the popup closes, so suppose I have an "ok button" on the popup to create a record, after the record is created, the popup closes and goes into the "popcancellistener", now the question is "how do we know if it came there because of the 'ok button' or 'some other event'".
2. I even checked the "DialogListener", now I'm able to distinguish between the 'OK' and 'CANCEL' button in the dialoglistener using the "Dialog.Outcome.ok/cancel", but when a user clicks on the close icon, we do not enter the "DialogListener" at all, so in this case "how do we handle the close icon click event"

Operating system Mac OS 10.6.8. Recently upgraded to CS6 Encore. There are no buttons and menus in Library at bottom right of screen, so cannot put a button on the menu in Flowchart

How can I get buttons and menus in Library in the Encore 6 screen? There are none showing in my just upgraded Encore 6, when they were there in Encore CS5.

Richard, the link you provided is correct, but it involves a two step process that first gives only a few templates, then requires another download that gives all the library.
I think most users who ask the question just want the second step, which is all that is presented here:

When I first started recommended that option, I expected users to ask for the "other" templates, but in Encore, that includes "styles" (that do not appear to be used much) and flash export templates (that are also not used much). So I go straight for the full library that I know the users wants.
The other oddity is for a user upgrading from CS5.5 (EN 5.1), and keeping 5.1 installed, the installer (your link) involves the bizarre step of DELETING the 5.1 library.
For Premiere CC users looking to get PR templates/styles, they must use your link.

Popup Menus and Flash

Hi All,
I have created a you-beaut pop-up menu in Fireworks 8 and
have it sitting on the webpage just nicely however, on the page is
a Flash slideshow as well. The Popup menus are hidden behind the
Flash content
Now I have read all the stuff about making wmode transparent,
but it makes no difference.
Has anyone else come across this problem and found a
solution?

Popup menus and trigger record

I have a problem (in Forms 6i) executing code in popup menus: When right-clicking an item, the menu opens at the right position, but I am not able to find out which record was clicked - the input focus remains where it was, :system.mouse_record is empty and :system.trigger_record gives me the record number of the record with input focus, not the one where the user right-clicked at. Any suggestions?
