Buyer roles for monitoring SUS vendor changes

Hi,
We are looking for EP and SUS roles for below scenario
When supplier admin logs in to SUS via EP portal, he can modify his /
her company (as part of supplier self service) data such as name,
contact info etc. Then, buyer can monitor changes done by supplier,
then he can transfer the changes to ECC. We were looking for roles in
EP and SUS that will allow buyer to monitor the changes, we tried SRM
admin role, but it was not pulling vendors modified in SUS. I can
monitor changes done for Vendor by buyers in SRM via application
monitor. But, we are having difficulty in identifying a role to monitor
changes done by supplier in SUS.
Will you please suggest which EP (front end) and SUS (Backend) roles
need to be used? Appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Chandra

Barbara,
You can achieve this by building a custom program to add additional entries in VENMAP table for the same partner_GUID for the new backend system data.

  • PO acknowledgement for SUS vendor in MM-SUS scenario?

    Dear Experts,
We have SRM 7.01 system with ECC 6.0 enhpk 5 in our client landscape. We have configured classic scenario  with MM-SUS in our landscape. Our client wants to have the PO acknowledgement functionality for all SUS vendors.
I have checked and found that SUS portal have standard functionality to confirm the Purchase Orders from MM system. However, we need to configure the few things from MM side to enable the PO acknowledgement by default.
    1. Create a confirmation key for PO acknowledgement in MM spro settings.
    2. Assign the confirmation key to the SUS vendors in MM side .
Now, there are two questions in the MM side?
    1. How can the client easily identify the SUS vendor from MM side (say XK02 or MK02) to maintain the required confirmation control key in the master data?
    2. Along with the confirmation control key, the purchase order item for such vendors should also have default checking of the checkbox 'Acknowledgement Required'  to enable the SUS vendor to confirm such PO item. How can we default the checkbox in PO item for SUS vendors?
    Thanska nd regards,

    Hi Nikhil/Soumya,
How to proceed with vendor classification to enable the client to easily identify which ECC vendors are SUS vendors to maintain the additional master data settings?
With use of classification, the system will automatically populate the vendor master data with a class say Z_SUS?
Could you please help me how to proceed with the same? is it similar to proceed with material classification?
Actually, the client has over 10,000 suppliers and the client is bringing only 1200 suppliers initially to SUS. I am looking for easier way for the client to identify the SUS vendors from ECC side.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Generic role for Display

    All,
I don't think that this is an "issue" but it is definitely something of a convenience problem. Our company has about 50 stores and each of them would have 2-3 generic role for a generic display login.
I have been asked to create a role in such a way that store A cannot see the inventory /  data of store B. Now we can have 50 different roles for 50 stores and change the Store Numbers (Company) in the  Authorization Objects (Again, Im assuming that this would work..not sure though). But this would be cumbersome to create and manage. Besides each store gets about 3 different roles which makes it at least 150 roles.
Is there any other way to do this. I hope I'm being clear about what is needed. I need just 1 generic role assigned to all the stores, but they still should not be able to see each other's information.
    Thanks,
    Kunal

    Hi Kunal,
Putting aside any thoughts of a generic login for the time being (you might want to check your licence terms) then there are are a few ways that you can achieve this.
Most straightforward would be to use derived roles.  Create your 3 master roles and then derive them at the lower level - 1 per company (if you data can be adequately segregated that way - you need to make sure that it can!).
If you are only differentiating on company and there is one company per role then you could script the creation of this pretty easily and populate the org levels using a CATT script (tutorial on ********************* ).  If you are on ECC6 then to be honest eCATTs will take rather longer to get working for org levels than it would take to build your 150 variants.
You could use enabler role method (use the search on terms "enabler role" or "value role") but to be honest the reduced number of variants you will need to build is going to be outweighed by the complexity of the solution.

  • Role for Vendor Evaluation

    Supplier Evaluation
You can use Supplier Evaluation in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) to evaluate your suppliers by means of Web-based surveys. You can tailor individual surveys and questionnaires, and select the criteria to evaluate. You can then transfer the data that you gather from the questionnaires and surveys to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP BI). You can use this information to help you select suppliers and negotiate conditions.
For more information on reporting in SAP BI, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at  http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  BI Content  Supplier Relationship Management  Supplier Evaluation .
    Prerequisites
You need to compile questionnaires using the WebSurvey Cockpit. For more information, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  SAP NetWeaver by Key Capability  Application Platform by Key Capability  Business Services  Web Survey .
When you use the Supplier Survey Cockpit (see below), you can access the WebSurvey Cockpit from the SAP NetWeaver Portal. To compile a questionnaire, in this case, click on the Supplier Evaluation tab strip. Then click on Create Questionnaire.
    Features
There are two different methods to collect data to evaluate supplier performance:
Event-driven evaluation. For example, when saving an invoice, a questionnaire is presented to the user
Ad-hoc evaluation through surveys managed with the Supplier Survey Cockpit
    Event-Driven Evaluation
SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) supports event-driven questionnaires for two specific occasions:
    Saving of a confirmation
    Saving of an invoice
    Note
The event-driven evaluation and the ad-hoc evaluation use separate InfoProviders in SAP NetWeaver BI. The InfoProvider that is used for event-driven evaluation is also used for evaluation triggered from out of the Advanced Supplier List.
    End of the note.
These events trigger a questionnaire, which pops up on the screen or enable a button to open the questionnaire. To carry out event-driven evaluation, you first have to specify in Customizing when and under which circumstances you want the evaluation to take place. For example, you can define that the evaluation is to occur for certain product categories, or suppliers, or purchasing organizations. You can also define the frequency (for example, every invoice/confirmation, or every second invoice/confirmation, and so on). For more information, see Customizing:  Integration with Other SAP Components  Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse  Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (SRM)  Define Events for Supplier Evaluation in SRM
    Process
Supplier Evaluation is used in the Confirmation and Invoice applications to evaluate day-to-day activities on the basis of operational documents. It can also be used from the Approved Supplier List.

    Ad-Hoc Evaluation: Supplier Survey Cockpit
The Supplier Survey Cockpit is an application with which you can manage surveys to gain information about your suppliers. After completion of a survey, the survey data is transferred to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) for reporting. Analyzing the survey outcomes in SAP NetWeaver BI helps you to always be up on your suppliers' performance regarding, for example, reliability, quality, and service.
The Supplier Survey Cockpit enables you to gather information independently of a certain purchasing event. With the Supplier Survey Cockpit, you can do the following:
    Set up a survey
Assign a questionnaire to the survey
Distribute the questionnaire via e-mail and
    Monitor the responses
    Features
To access the Supplier Survey Cockpit, choose Supplier Evaluation and then Survey Management under Detailed Navigation.
By default, you find three queries: A survey query, a survey package query, and a survey monitor query. Depending on the query you choose, the table below the queries displays different information.
To manage surveys, choose the survey query. Click on Create to create a new survey. Select a survey from the table and click on Display, Edit, or Delete to display, change, or delete a survey.
To manage survey packages, choose the survey package query and click on the corresponding buttons.
To download the table contents in MS Excel format, click on Export.
For more information on the queries, which serve to monitor surveys, see Survey Monitoring.

  • Roles for Contact Person in MM-SUS Scenario

    Hi !
When we create a contact person using the Create user option in SUS, we assign the roles to the contact person. These roles are basically the standard SAP roles for SUS. We have created Z-roles ( a copy of the standard roles) to restrict cetain txns for users and would like to assign these Z-roles to the contact person . How can we ensure that the Z-roles are displayed instead of the standard roles ?
    Regards

    Hi
<u><b>Please go through these complete SUS-MM Configuartion detail links, which will definitely help  -></b></u>
    <u>Roles:</u>
SAP deliver standard roles with authorisations, if You want to maintain your own go to transaction PFCG.
There are two type of role:
    - single role
    - composite role - (one or more single roles)
To roles You can assign transaction codes, reports, URL links, etc. SAP System automatically creates the authorisations that you can set on Authorisations tab page.
    <u>Authorisation:</u>
Authorization profiles must be generated before you can assign them to users. An authorization is generated for each authorization level in the browser view, and an authorization profile for the whole role as represented in the browser view.

  • User role for vendor block/unblock

    Hi Guys,
We want to give a role to only one user so that he can only block or unblock any vendor.
Is it possible to create a role and assign it to only one user .
He should be able to block/u

    Ouch.
Its not a simple process.  I will give you the basics, you will need to read some and do some to get a clear hang of it.
The role creation transaction is PFCG.
If you want to create a role, say for FK05.
Enter a name and description of the role, say Z:LOCK_UNLOCK_VENDORS, Desc:  role for locking and unlocking vendors.
Click on the create single role button.
Save the role.  Go into the Menu tab. Click on the button which says Transaction and a plus sign.  In the popup that comes up enter the T-code FK05 and the others that are relevant.  Click on Assign transaction.
Now move to the Authorisation tab.and click on the button change Authorisation data, you may need to save the role.
Enter the organisational values, company code in this case, click on save.
Now you will be in the authorisation page, where you decide what activity and area you need to assign.
If you expand the Cross-application Authorization Objects, you will see the t-codes which you entered in the menu here.  You can add more t-codes here if you need.
In the next node for financial accounting.  Expand the node to see the authorisation objects.  from the menu, click on utilities and Technical names on,  to see the technical names of the objects.
If you see the activities, the acivity "lock" will get automatically assiged.  If you click the pencil in front of the activity, you will see a pop-up where you can select additional activities.
Once you are done, save and generate the authorisation.  This will also generate a profile.
In the main PFCG screen, you can assign the user you want to carry out this role.  Remember to carry out complete user compare so the role becomes activated in the user master.
    You are now done.
If the user gets an authorisation error.  He can execute the transaction SU53 and the system will display what authorisation is missing.  You can then add this to the role or create a new one.
    Cheers...

  • F110 - Mass change house bank for one time vendor

    Hello,
Is it possible to make mass changes for payment program for one-time vendors? I would like to change bank account from where do I want to pay something to one-time vendor. As far as I know, it isn't possible to change it that way, it is possible only one per one.
Does anyone have Idea how to resolve this issue?
    Thank you in advance!

I can do it but one per one in payment proposal. I can't do it mass. The issue is that I have huge number of one time vendor payments per day and some of them should be paid in one house bank and some of them in some other house bank.
I tried to change it with FBL1N but I couldn't do it.

  • Vendor change in PO for delivery charges after MIGO

    Dear All,
System is allowing to change the Vendor for delivery charges even after the MIGO has been done, without any message (warning/error). The Vendor field is editable in PO, even after MIGO.
Vendor was changed, But at the time of MIRO system is showing the old vendor, not the changed one.
Problem is explained with one example-
PO created with "Freight" Delivery charge - with vendor ABCD.MIGO was done.
After MIGO the exact vendor for the Freight was know, Vendor XYZ . As system is allowing to change it without message, it was changed. No change log is there for the changed vendor.
But now at the time of MIRO, system is suggesting u201CPlanned delivery costu201D for Vendor ABCD, not for XYZ.
So how to proceed as the payment has to be done for the new Vendor XYZ.
    Please suggest.

    Hi,
Please check SAP Note 549408 - Conditions modifiable after invoice receipt for the same.
    THis will resolve your issue.
    Symptom
You already posted an invoice receipt for a purchase order with delivery costs, but no goods receipt yet. After that you can still change conditions of type 'B' (Delivery costs) via Transaction ME22 or ME22N in the purchase order.
    Solution
Refer to the attached advance corrections.
In addition you must adjust message V1631 as follows:
Change the short text of the message via Transaction SE91 as follows: <Z1> No new delivery costs must be entered after occurred GR/IR.
Extend the long text by the following passage in section 'Diagnosis': <Z1> After an occurred invoice receipt the change of delivery costs is not allowed in the purchase, either, as information for the correct process are no longer available and the postings can no longer or not without errors be carried out, particularly after the deletion of posted delivery costs for subsequent cancellations or invoices.

  • Roles for Business Process Monitoring

    Hi Expert,
I'm working with sap solution manager and Business Process Monitoring.
It works fine but I need to create particular roles for my users.
I have created one solution with 2 business scenarios (scenario 1, scenario 2) and 10 Business Processes for each scenario.
I would know if exist a role in order to allow user 1 to see only BP in  scenario 1 and allow user 2 to see only BP in  scenario 2.
I saw roles: SAP_OP_DSWP_BPM and SAP_SMWORK_BPM but I didn't find any suitable authorization object to use.
    Thanks for collaboration
    best regards
    gio'

    Hi Giovanni,
the answer is unfortunately no. There is no authorization object available that limits the visibility of business processes. You could only split by solution, so creating two solutions each containing 10 business processes.
In general you can find information about roles and authorizations in SAP note 834534. There are several MS Excel files attached to this note.
    Best Regards

Just a quick thanks that it worked, aesiris.

i2c device power management can be managed with very much the same rule structure:

Can't for sure say the same for spi devices, since I apparently have none.  I'd edit that page, but I can't.

  • Warning message for PI vendor change

Is there an existing warning message that I can use for when a PI vendor partner is changed in a PO?

    Hi,
If you define a field in the vendor master record as "sensitive", the corresponding vendor account is blocked for the payment run if the entry is changed. The block is removed when a second person with authorization checks the change and confirms or rejects it.
    Example
The alternative payee field has been defined as sensitive in the Customizing table. If the accounting clerk responsible changes the entry in this field in the customer/vendor master record, the account is blocked for the payment run until a second person with authorization confirms the change to the master data.
Please go through the customizing activity at:
SPRO--> SAP Reference IMG --> Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Vendor Accounts> Master Data> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data> Define Sensitive Fields for Dual Control (Vendors)

    Hi Luis,
Use tcode XK99 for vendor mass change, select the Fax no field. You have to take note that this changes will be only 1 fax number for all vendors.
Else you have to use BAPI for mass change.

  • Changing role for users

    Hi,
in forms 10g , it's possible to change the role for user
    REVOKE role_name FROM :USERNAME;

This should work, but the user revoking a role from a different user needs to have the admin option of this role.
When creating a role, by default the "Admin option" for that role should be enabled for the user creating the role.
Normally, this would be the schema-owner of the application objects ...
A user holding the "admin option" may grant a role to a different user and grant the other user "admin option" on this role...
