Buying music from the iTunes store with Apple TV.

Since changing to the new Apple TV I can't find a way to purchase Music directly from the iTunes store. I can rent and buy Movies, so IO'm sure there must be a way but I can't seem to work it out.

Thanks for your advice, I went to the apple shop today for a face to face meeting with a tech and he checked everything and could not figure out why I was having this problem so we decided to give up on that account and create a whole new one for me using a different email address.
Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.
If anyone is reading this in Brisbane Australia go to the Chermside apple shop and ask for Wade. He was fantastic!

Okay so im buying music thought the iTunes store with my iPhone.

but every time i purchase a song it says downloading then when its done downloading it says processing and then goes back to downloading again. and the process starts all over again. i don't know why its doing this. i have enough GB's left on my iPhone.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks only from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
BTW, are these all recent purchases (last 8 weeks or so) or does it affect older tracks also?

What country are you in ? Re-downloading music isn't currently possible in all countries (the record companies need to agree to it for each country). If you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded, then if the tracks are still in the store then they should show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.

I recently downloaded music through the iTunes store and synched it manually to my iPod nano (5th generation) and while it shows up on my iPod when I scroll through my list of artists/songs/albums it will not play any sound if selected and will not play through at all. At the very best all it will do is skip ahead 1 to 2 songs. What do I need to do?
I think it's also worth noting that the songs work on my other devices (laptop and iPad mini) absolutely fine with zero issues.

I had some time finally figuring why I could buy and download from the Itunes store, but could not load it on my IPOD. What finally worked was plugging my IPOD in to the computer, as I would when "syncing", and, after loading, it would show my device in the side bar. You have to go to VIEW in the top Tool Bar and click on SHOW SIDE BAR in the drop down menu. "SUMMARY' tab, on top, is what I clicked on to show an option of restoring my IPOD to the factory defaults. It erases everything on the IPOD, but gives an option of AUTOFILL afterwards, which it does from the computer. This is one solution of many you could try. Good luck.

This has been covered here literally dozens of times, but once again: the content owners do not allow cross-border sales from any of the legal download stores. You must therefore have legal residence in the country of the iTunes Store you wish to use. So in order to buy from another country's iTunes Store, you must (as proof of residence) have either:
a) a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a billing address also in that country, or
b) a mailing address for your residence in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
This, again, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice.

I've just bought the 80 Gb iPod video and I was very exicted because of all the things I wanted to download from iTunes. But now it seems that I can't do it if I'm a Bulgarian. It even seems that only people from 20 countries can use the iTunes store. And what should I do now? I know that iTunes won't be translated in bulgarian soon. Unfortunately, no, not until Bulgaria has its own store. The copyright holders for content that is provided to Apple require that one has a CC with an attached billing address in the country from which you wish to purchase. Again, these rules are required by the copyright holders not Apple.

Again, I may be wrong, but It seems you can with an iTunes Gift Card or Certificate. But this really does not help unless Jessica wants to even try this method.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

It doesn't appear to be available on the iTunes Store, at least not in the U.S. You can make a request to iTunes. However, making a request doesn't mean that iTunes will be able to offer it. It all depends on what the rights holders wish to do.
