BW Report Availability

As much as we would like all BW based reports available on time, all of the time, the reality is that some reports are not available to our user community due to data load failures e.g. master data, issues that require bug fixes etc .. Our business need to know which reports are available with most recent data. They need to know this without having to run the query and look at the "status of data" information. This would be inefficient when we consider many users all repeating the same check.
We are looking to develop a custom solution that will provide a data load status for all web templates in our system. The logic is along the lines of :
1. Get a list of all web templates
2. Determine the embedded queries
3. Find the related InfoProviders / Data Targets
4. Find the last request status and last load times of these Data Targets (along with any data staging objects before the report layer)
5. Consult a mapping table * (some objects should be loaded weekly, daily, monthly etc ..)
6. Report a status e.g. Sales Report OK last loaded 15.02.2005 08:00, Manufacturing Report NOT OK last loaded 14.02.2005 22:00 ..
We would like to define a web template <> load frequency mapping table. This will be used to determine what constitutes the red / green traffic light status of each web template. So, imagine that web template A contains queries that are based on an InfoCube that should be loaded every 24h - we would maintain this in the mapping table. The program would check the mapping table in relation to web template A. If the InfoCube was loaded 23h ago a green light status would be reported. If last loaded 26h ago, or loaded with a failed request, a red light status would be reported.
I would like to hear from anyone who would share solutions to similar requirements.

You can do that within process chains. There you can define if you want to send a email in case of errors or successful execution of a certain step (e.g. after rollup of the infocube). Hi All,
I have Cube & DSO.
I added fields in DSO & Cube.
Cube1 has Aggregrates built on it.i added 5 infoobjects on it, Now when i load data from DSO to Cube(Request for reporting available) is not coming up. i cant do reporting on it. can anyone help.

Have you done the Roll up ?
Since aggregates are there on that cube....until and unless you do the roll up that request will not be available for Reporting...

Request for reporting available icon is missing !

Hi,
I have an infocube which has been uploaded by ODS and the data load was successful.
But--
The request for reporting available Icon is missing in the request.
Prior to this dataload, yes there were falided requests which i had deleted before uplaoding it self.
Why i am not seeing the icon?

Hi Raj,
If you are using BI 7, then in the mange tab of the infocube check in the extream right ....
otherwise it should appear...
if you are talking abt ODS then you might have missed the step to activate data in ods.

A DSO feeds the data to a cube and DSO. In dso reporting sysmbol is present. However in the cube "Request for Reporting available " is not present in the manage tab of the cube.
Please advise on this.

Hi,
What is the status in Monitor. If it is ok, go to manage of the infocube,
in that screen on the menu, Environment --> Automatic Request processing. Then you will get three check boxes.
Click the first check box, (Set Quality status to OK). If you aggregates, choose second box.

Hi,
This is the best way...and the simplest way....since it is a big question....just go Business content tab in RSA1 and there go to "query elements" option and cick on the option "select objects" this will give you all the standata BW queris based on all the BC cubes and it will not show self developed queries in you system.
So fo MM reports go to...Infoarea "Supply Chain Management"-> "Inventory Management"....here you will see all the cubes related to MM and the reports nased on that.
for FICO go to Infoarea FMCO Financial management and controlling.........
Similarly you can find for SD.
If you want to find the detailed information about all the queries .....you will have to search the help.sap.com witth the same name of the cubes and you will get various links explaining that.

Standard Reports available in EP Based on BI?

Why is no report available when Adobe Flash crashes?

Firefox 6.0.1 (problem started with Firefox 5)
Flash: 10.3.183.7
OSX Lion
The flash plugin crashes frequently; however, Firefox always says "No report available". How can I get crash information generated so that this bug can get fixed? It crashes while generating the thumbnail for videos while loading a page and a visit to http://www.youtube.com is enough to crash the plugin.
The support pages for troubleshooting flash crashes just say to update flash, update firefox, and send in crash reports. All software is up to date and I can't get crash reports.
Flash works fine in Chrome & Safari on the same machine. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling Flash. I've tried disabling all plugins. I've tried disabling flash hardware acceleration. My CUDA driver is up to date too. I've tried 32-bit mode and 64-bit mode.
How do I get a crash report?

I am also having this problem on my 32 bit Windows 7 machine except that it hangs rather than crashes, that is I can't get to any of the other tab or use the browser and there is not ability to report the failure. I would post a screen shot but if I go there I won't be able to come back and post this message :(

Reports available for Project

What are the seeded reports available for Reporting.Consolidation Purpose in Projects.
I need following details --
1. Report for Monthly expenses for the Projects
2. Report for Project status like whether they are closed , Approved etc and the cost associated with these Projects along with Supplier Invoice info ,Associated Purchase Order etc .
3. Reports related to reconciliation
Any report which match some of the requirement will also serve my purpose .

Below are some of the reports that may help in your requirement.
1. Report for Monthly expenses for the Projects:
You can look at the reports MGT: Expenditures Summary and MGT: Expenditures Detail
2. Report for Project status like whether they are closed , Approved etc and the cost associated with these Projects along with Supplier Invoice info ,Associated Purchase Order etc .
For the Supplier invoice info and PO : use the same MGT: Expenditures Detail report with the Expenditure Class as Supplier invoice
For Project Status: AUD: Project Configuration
3. Reports related to reconciliation
AUD: Cost Audit Report
AUD: Project Subledger Summary
AUD: Project Subledger: Detail by Expenditure Type
AUD: Project Subledger: Detail by Project
AUD: Revenue Audit Report
AUD: Supplier Invoice Audit Report

Reports available in the Business Package for MSS and ESS

Hi,
I have searched sdn.sap.com throughout looking for a comprehensive list of reports available in the business packages for both MSS and ESS, i got a little bit of joy and found some of the MSS reports but not all on sdn.sap.com, can anyone please advise where i would find such information on both these packages, just to re-iterate, i am looking for a list of reports these business packages offer? any help much appreciated.

(1) ESS- We built our own custom PORTAL role/workset in which one of the worksets we created is called "Tools and Forms". Under that workset, we placed various pages/iViews that either are simple URL iViews that link to external documents and such (like vacation request forms since they do not do online leave requests yet) as well as a couple ot t-code iViews that run reports in ECC for the employee. Nothing very mind blowing there. Just some content creation on the portal side.....oh, and some config on the backend to create a Homepage Framework Area Page and all for it (I liked that part!)
(2) Wow....talk about perfect timing...I just had to document the way MSS sees the MDT reports in it's "reporting" area yesterday! haha Here goes the quick explaination....in configuration for MDT, you have various "scenarios". These kinda determine which "groups" of reports will show in MDT. For MSS for the Reporting webdynpro/service, the scenario is RPT0 (in ECC 5.0, at least). Soooo if you look at the function CODES assigned to RPT0, you will see several for Training and one for Accounting (Cost Centers)...you can reference the function CODES listed back to the "pool"/library of function codes a bit up/previous in the same config area for MDT(I think it is called "Define Function Codes"). However, there is one more piece you will see listed under RPT0....it is a DIRECT call to function MODULE "HR_HIS_READ" (this was a bugger to find because I could not find the "Maternity" report listed in the function codes and had to figure out where the heck it was coming from! haha). Anyways....what the function MODULE actually does is call the HR Information System (HIS) passing it the RPT0/MSS scenario. This returns the particular reports for Employee Data and Time&Attendance. You can see this if you run the HR_HIS_READ function directly and enter RPT0 for the second input value (first and third are not needed or you can just enter "*". Sooooo that is how the "magic" happens. Hope that explained it. From there, you can simply config you own scenario/reports to add into MSS if you like.

Finder is not correctly reporting available disk space

finder is not correctly reporting available disk space
my drive is 50% full but finder shows there is only @ 35% left
the difference is more than anything needed by the system
any ideas on what is causing the problem?

Try this:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger, and 4.1 for Leopard) and/or TechTool Pro (4.6.1 for Leopard) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Report available for test cases (manual test script files uploaded)?

We upload our test script files to the "Test Case" tab, assign it a status. We are hoping to have a report that would report all test case files and their STATUSES.
In solar_eval, there is a standard SAP report for test case provided. However, the field "Status" for the test case file is not included in this report.
Is there any report available that would give us this status? If not, in which table does this data come from? Is there anyway to build a simple SQVI query to extract the list of test cases and their statuses?
Any help is highly appreciated!

It's not entirely clear on whether you are look for 'Status' values of the Test Case document itself OR for 'Status' values of the Test(s) conducted on such Test Case documents.
I believe the following two SOLAR_EVAL reports should resolve either ways:
(a) SOLAR_EVAL -> Project -> Configuration -> Assignments -> Documentation (Programme called is SAPLSPROJECT_SOLAR_DOC_EVAL_IM) , Tick only 'Test Cases' and switch off other tabs
(b) SOLAR_EVAL -> Project -> Test -> Test Plan Status Analysis

Various consistency checking reports available for New GL?

Quesition:
Do you know if we have these reports available for sitution in New GL?
In detail, I mean that you can compare per Prctr or Segment in addtion to GL account.

Yes, I am fimilar with FAGLF03 >>> it was SAPF190 in classic GL
and FAGLCORC for reconciliation of FI - CO. (before starting - consider SAP note for cost element update in GL).
I am looking for checking cosistency in MM and FA where prctr and segment is available.
A sum per prctr within gl account.
I would be comfortabel to have these reports, otherwise I have handle it with SAP Query.
SAP standard report would be the best choice.

statistical posting means " Noted items" which can give only information regarding without any accounting documents like " Bank Guarantees and Payment Requests like that..
u can get the details for vendors in FBL1N by the selection of "Noted items " and same for customers in FBL5N and for GL Accounts in FBL1N
