(Request for reporting available) is not coming in Cube

Hi All,
I have Cube & DSO.
I added fields in DSO & Cube.
Cube1 has Aggregrates built on it.i added 5 infoobjects on it, Now when i load data from DSO to Cube(Request for reporting available) is not coming up. i cant do reporting on it. can anyone help.

Have you done the Roll up ?
Since aggregates are there on that cube....until and unless you do the roll up that request will not be available for Reporting...

A DSO feeds the data to a cube and DSO. In dso reporting sysmbol is present. However in the cube "Request for Reporting available " is not present in the manage tab of the cube.
Please advise on this.

Hi,
What is the status in Monitor. If it is ok, go to manage of the infocube,
in that screen on the menu, Environment --> Automatic Request processing. Then you will get three check boxes.
Click the first check box, (Set Quality status to OK). If you aggregates, choose second box.

Request for reporting available icon is missing !

Hi,
I have an infocube which has been uploaded by ODS and the data load was successful.
But--
The request for reporting available Icon is missing in the request.
Prior to this dataload, yes there were falided requests which i had deleted before uplaoding it self.
Why i am not seeing the icon?

Hi Raj,
If you are using BI 7, then in the mange tab of the infocube check in the extream right ....
otherwise it should appear...
if you are talking abt ODS then you might have missed the step to activate data in ods.

Request for reporting available after rollup. Why not before?

Hi,
In infocubes with aggregates, a dataload is not available for reporting until you roll-up the aggregates. This is very unwanted behaviour and we'd like to have the loads available at all times, with or without a rolled up aggregate. All our aggregates are rolled up in the same process chain block after all loads are done. This means that data will not be available for reporting until all loads have finished, something our customers complain about.
Because parallel rollup jobs collide, rolling up up after every infopackage would make our loadschedule very unflexible (difficult to plan parallel processes).
Is this possible (by changing a setting somewhere) to change this and make load available for reporting at all times, or is this one of SAP's standard programming decisions without any workarounds?

Aggregates data is maintained in aggregate tables.
Unless, you roll it up after every data load, the aggregate data wont be correct and it wont be consistent with the data in the cube.
YES< the roll up job will not be complete unless the loading job is compete.
One suggestion is to review the process chain jobs and see if you can reshuffle the jobs.
But aggregate roll up has to happen after data loading job of that cube on which aggregate is built .

Simultaneous data activation in cube - request for reporting available

Hi,
I'm on BW 3.5.
I am loading several million records to a cube, processing is to PSA first and subsequently to data target.
I have broken the load up into 4 separate loads to prevent caches from filling up and causing huge performance issues.
When I load all the data in a single load, it takes 10 hours to load. When I break it up into 4 loads it takes 3 hours.
My problem is that during the loading from PSA to data target, the first data load becomes green and ready for reporting before the last one has finished loading, and so the users get inaccurate report results if they happen to run a report before the last request activates.
Is it possible to get all 4 requests to activate simultaneously?
I have tried adding an aggregate to the cube, no good.
I have tried loading the 4 loads to the PSA in sequential order in the process chain, and then loading from PSA to data target simultaneously (side by side), no good.
Does anyone have a solution?

but in output it is now showing the help.

with this it is showing the help in employee code, but, when i click on an empl number, it is not added to my table control and allowing me to add the number by typing them.

In the layout give layout-sel_mode = 'A'. and
pass 'A' to i_save exporting parameter to method set_table_for_first_display.
The same thing if you are working with function module
reuse_alv_grid_display.

I am a very new customer of yours, have bought a iPhone 5s on 25th Dec '13, but unfortunately someone stolen my phone in a MELA in my city. I immediately call my iphone but getting it switch off, as the thief had put the phone in switch off mode. I search it in iCloud with find my iphone apps but getting offline till date. I use pass code & finger print protection that's why probably it can't be use by the thief, but it can be sell as spare parts by opening up its parts . I had do all legal formalities & inform my carrier to lock my sim. Recently I again bought a new iPhone 4s 8GB from amazon.com & using it now.
It is the time to welcoming new iphone probably iphone 6/iphone air in this fall. I have plan to buy it & a apple laptop but first iphone 6 followed by iwatch if you launch & than laptop.
Now coming to the main point why I have written this mail let's explain it - I think you should put a switch off protection in this new device so that someone can't put the phone in switch off mode except the owner, at-least phone can be track till the battery last if someone stollen it. Because I know the problem & pain when someone lose a smart phone with all personal details. So please consider this in your new device as a new feature.

As for your suggestion, as much as I can understand what you are requesting, if the device is turned off, it is off. There isn't anything Apple or your carrier can do about that. Having a device that is OFF continue to send a signal suggest all sorts of privacy and battery management issues.

In your case for the Nav Attr data to appear firstly load the master data where your Nav Attr resides and then do the apply hier/attr change for that master data.

ALV report value is not coming in output

Hi all,
I have developed one ALV report using ABAP OOPS. i have used Custom Container to display my all values.
below are the methods i am calling to dispaly and all values is coming in T_DATASET[] ans fcat, But after Executing my report it is not displaying any value.
my container is blank in output only fcat-coltext is coming and fieldname value is not coming.
wa_fcat-fieldname = 'T_DATASET-KAVS'.
             wa_fcat-coltext = ' '.
CALL METHOD grid1->set_table_for_first_display
    CHANGING

Is it possible to send a request for report pagination?

Hi,
I have a page with 3 regions.
Only one of these regions is displayed depending on a special request.
This works fine as long as we don't push the select list for report pagination.
Do we have any possiblities to send a request when we select another rowrange from the pagination select list?
At the moment we don't get a request after selecting a new pagination.
The result is that after the pagination there is no region displayed.

Ulrike - For reasons like this, it's best not to use REQUEST to control page rendering behavior. Passing an item value so that it stays in session state gives you more flexibility, e.g., P1_SHOW_REPORT:YES.

Lpadmin - request for username and password - not responding correctly

Recently updated to a new computer and 10.5.7.
A printer was paused (somehow). Tried to resume printing and got a request for an lpadmin administrator user name and password. Mine is the only account on this computer. Put in my user name and password, but this was rejected. If I tried 3 times I was told to try later (and given my password hint). However, after clicking OK to this dialogue the action WAS taken.
Same thing happened when I tried to add a printer. It will not accept my username and password, but if I persist until I get the message to try again later, the printer WAS added.
So, I am back to having a printer, but this seems like a bug.

Request for Quotation 8.81PL6 not sending emails

Hi experts,
After following the techical documentation, I've managed to set up the new Request for Quotation functionality in SBO 8.81 PL06.
But, even if I receive the event in B1if no email gets sent to the provider... nor any internal message communicating the error to the SAP user (in the documentation it is stated that the SAP user will receive an internal message communicating the error).
May I be missing some configuration? While monitoring the biz-flow, I've noticed some "Connection Refused" errors when sending the email.. thus, making me think the process stops after not being able to send the email with the request for quotation.
I've checked the mail configuration, and everything seems to be ok: It has no required SSL encryption and works over plain old port 25 with a single user and password. It works from other apps too, of course.
Is there any additional configuration I should make? Am I missing something?

Hi,
"Connection Refused" error is probably linked to email server you are trying to send. Check why the server refuse the connection through error log.

Data not coming in cube...

Hi,
I have loaded data in ODS but when loading the data from this ODS to cube it is not fetching any data in the cube. I have created the DTP to transfer data from ODS. but no data is coming in cube.
Any mistake I have to correct? or any setting I have to check?

I presed execute button from DTP in schedule tab.
It is showing DTP as green , no error is there.
But no records are loaded from ODS through DTP.
