  • BI Statistics Query - RRI Issue

    Hi Experts,
I have copied a BI Statistics querys and customized it. The RRI Options available for the original query are available for the copied query as well. However, I do not want to keep all of them.
When i checked  the T.code RSBBS for the copied query and  the original statistics query , it does not show any receivers. Please let me know how I can  change the RRI options for the copied query.
    Regards,
    Kavitha.

    Hi kavitha,
This is what we do for a normal RRI,Chnage accordingly as per requirement.
    The steps to create RRI
    1)Goto T code RSBBS
2)In the Sender Query -give the Query name
3)Press Create tab which is there on the Right Top
4)It will as for a list select the Query name in the Bottom
    5)and Press OK.
6)Come back to the main Screen os RSBBS and Select the Receiver Query and click Assignments.
    7)Make them objects as Delete.
8)Save and Execute the Query ,Sender Query.
9)Right Click on the Query ,we will find GOTO Tab ,Drill down further
we can view the Second Query.
10)we can view the Second Query through first query

  • Urgent-How to run the BW Statistics Query?

    Hi
we have recently installed the Techincal Content queries. We have about 43 queries Now i have to check the queries in Q before i approve them for transport to Prod.
I would really appreciate if anybody could give me a step by step procedure on how to test it.
    Thanks

    Hi Kiran,
I would suggest that you do some tests for a period of 1 week to ten days. In this period you should run some daily loads on your structures for which the Statistics has been activated.
Then on a daily basis you can run your queries like 0BWTC_C10_Q314 - WHM Use per InfoSource. In this query based on the selection of your infosource you can get the following informations
    1. Different request ID's loaded into the Data targets.
    2. the information on Data targets, like which are the data targets linked to the info source.
    3. Date and time when loading into the Data targets happened.
    4. Number of records transferred and added into the Data target...and much more.
After getting this Info you can check in the system if your test loads which you are doing on a daily basis matches this information or not.
You can do similar tests on Query usage for example where you can ruin certain queries in your system and see if the information is reflected in your queries.
For this u can use 0BWTC_C10_Q011 - OLAP Use per User.
Also donot forget that to refresh the statistics information you have to always reload your statistics cubes and this you should do via a process chain and schedule it atleast twice in a day so that every morning you get the refreshed information as to what was loaded the previous day.
You can also get a lot of relevant information from this link

  • BI Statistics Query problem

    Hi Folks,
i have installed the bi content queries for BI Statistics. 0TCT_MCA1_Q0200. for this query the the records are displaying like this.
bi application- bi application object-count for bi applicaitoncount for bi application objecttotal time
    1. WebTemplate           #                                     10                                        0                                          70
    2. not assigned      query1                                  0                                         4                                          20
    likewise.....
my doubt is in the first record the web template contains 2 queries so the count at BI applicaiton object must be 2 right? but why its giving 0 which is meaning less. either way is not possible. bcas in the 2nd record its correct ,as it don include in the web template. so please advice me what i have to do to make the data meaningful and please let me know if any settings need to do anywhere.
waiting for your reply. as this is high priority issue please respond immediately.
your help will be appreciated greatly.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ashok

    Hi Rama,
thanks for your reply. i know the difference b/w BI application and BI application object counts.
bi applicaiton count only give the workbooks and web templates no of executions.
bi application object count will give the number of query/query view/element navigation executions.
but my question here is if we display both in single query why its not showing the values with complete record.
if the count for either is having values then other one is having 0's.
i just wnat to know why this is happening. even i checked the query on the cube 0TCT_CA1. in cube also its same.
please let me know the mitigation in that. the report will display like that only or what..?
my requirement is i want to see for my web template what is the count and how many queries are included in the web template and what is time take to execute the web template and the queries included in that as a single record.
hope u understand..if no plz let me know.
    Thanks,
    Ashok

  • BW statistics: Query Execution Time per User

I am struggling to get something meaningful out of the BW statistics. The only information I really need is:
The time from the first call of a query until the first selection screen and
The time from the execution request until the data is displayed (i.e. after filling selection screen)
With the possibility to see this information by user.
So with other words:  KF Duration of query call + KF Duration of query execution, with Characteristics: user, period, query
This could sound like a very simple universal query, but indeed absolutely not straightforward when looking at statistics contents. Any hints on the KF calculations are most welcome.
The BW version in 7.0, with Bex as well as WAD reporting.

I was looking for the same KFs, but did not find anything meaningful in ST03N as well.
But I would recommend to execute the Web Report (from WAD or from Portal, if you are using Enterprise Portal) and then look at table view RSDDSTAT_OLAP. In this table view, BW Statistic data for each step is saved on event level. So if you execute the Web Report, you will find entries for the step corresponding to displaying the selection screen and for the step of generating the Web Report after the selection screen. The column RUNTIME displays the runtime of each step, which is a good indicator for the average runtime KFs you want to have.
Maybe there are more meaningful KFs in technical BI Content, but I did not find them yet.

  • BW Statistics query with process chain run times.

    Hello Guru's,
We are using BW 3.5 system and the client have asked if it is possible to create a report in BW based out of the Statistics Cube that shows the current status of the Process Chains .i.e. the start/end time of specific process chains along with some sort of Exceptions to show successfully completed chains as 'Green', chains finishing with errors as 'red' and chains presently running as 'Yellow'.
I have seen such a report in my previous project, but that was using BI 7.0, I am not able to find such Statistics Info Cube in BW 3.5 which meets my requirements.
Has anybody created such a report in BW 3.5? If yes, would very much appreciate if you can share your way of approach with me.
    Thanks
    Arvind

    Hi Arvind,
Yes you can achieve this functionality using BW Technical Content. I already implemented this for one of our client. We have some Standard InfoProviders where in wee can get the Start and End time of chains. You can build a query on these Cubes & Multiprovider and there in create exceptions to reflect which step got completed with in stipulated time limit and which took longer than usual......u can display those time statistics in different colour.
Here are soem cubes names from BW Technical content which may meet your requirement specification:
    1. 0TCT_C01
    2. 0TCT_C02
    3. 0TCT_CA1
    4. 0TCT_C23
    5. 0TCT_C21
    Hope it helps

  • BI Statistics - query level of detail

    Hi,
Is it possible for us to specify the level of detail for the queries we create? If its possible please tell me how to do it?
    Regards,
    Suraj

    Hi Suraj,
Yes its possible to specify the level of details for query objects. Here is some info...
<b>Statistics Detail Level for the Query Object Type</b>
For queries, you also have the option of selecting a detail level for the statistics data. You can choose from the following:
&#9679;      0 – Aggregated Data: The system writes only one OLAP event (event 99999) for the query. This contains the cumulative times within the OLAP processing of the query. The system does not record data from the aggregation layer of the analytic engine or aggregation information.
&#9679;      1 – Only Front End/Calculation Layer Data: The system records all OLAP events, but not separate data from the aggregation layer of the analytic engine.  The system writes only the general data manager event 9000 in the OLAP context as well as the aggregation information.
&#9679;      2 – All: The system records all data from the area for the front end and calculation layer as well as data from the area for the aggregation layer and aggregation information.
&#9679;      9 – No Data: The system does not record any data from the front end and calculation layer or from the aggregated event 99999. However, it does record data for the BEx Web templates and workbooks, depending on the setting.
When you select the detail level, keep in mind that a very large amount of data is recorded when the system records data manager times.
    Hope this helps...

  • Re: Statistics Query for Total runtimes for Process Chain incorrect

    Hi Guys,
I am building a Query for Total runtimes for Process Chain Statistics. I used the Cube 0TCT_MC21 for Query - 0TCT_MC21_Q0101.
I dragged in Keyfigure section - startdate, end date, Start time are all correct and fine but the End time (0TCTENDTIM) is coming incorrect. Is something else i should use to get the End time?
Please let me know if any suggestions?
    Regards

Just check if the end times are in GMT ?? usually happens with timestamps....

  • BW statistics - query last start

    Hello everybody,
    I need your help please!
I'd like to have a list of all queries we have, with their last run date, so I can see which queries were not use in the last 3 month for instance, but not using the Technical Content. (BW3.5) For this purpose I can list all entries in the table RSDDSTAT, which contains all I need.
The problem: the query ID in the table is like "5SURAN3E4IOJ53YXIHR2EEQGM" so I need the correlation between this ID and the technical name of the query.
    For example: Z_JMT_KAW_AB_AUSL -> 5SURAN3E4IOJ53YXIHR2EEQGM.
    Do you have any idea?
    Thanks in advance!

    hi Alexander,
    welcome to SDN ...
you can try table RSRREPDIR, use field COMPUID (or GENUNIID), OBJVERS = A (active)
and get COMPID is query technical name.
see also if you can use table RSZCOMPDIR,
field COMPID is query technical name and LASTUSED is query last used.
    hope this helps.

    Hello,
have you checked the DBA_HIST* objects to see what / how was imported?
If the awr export dosn't get the contents of the rolling buffer, then you won't see any session statistics that are only there. If you want to get the contents of the rolling buffer you have to dump the contents of it with :
    oradebug setmypid
    oradebug dump ashdump 10
and load it into your "test" database.
But before doing this I suggest you read the related metalink documentation if any!!!

  • BW Statistics (Query-Time; time for masterdata reading)

    Hello,
with BW 3.5 it is possible to see the time for the reading of masterdata in Transaction RSRT (RSRT--> Execute+Debug --> DisplayStatistic data).

With BW 7.0 this column not exist.
Where I can see this information??

  • Custom Query on BI Statistics

    Hi,
We have to create a BI statistics query which will provide following information:
    1. User name
    2. Values of Input Variables
    3. Query start time
    4. Duration of Query execution.
We are getting all the information except "Values of Input Variables".
It will be a great, if you could please let us know the InfoCube  name which contains the “Values of Input Variables" information.
    Thanks and Regards
    Binayak

    Hi Venkata,
    Thanks for the response.
I am getting all the values except the "Input Variable Values"
We are using BI 7. I think 0BWTCT_C03 is obsolete in BI 7.
Please let me know you find any solution.

  • Query Variable - Bottom N Reports

    Hello Experts,
I'm creating a Statistics query and would like to execute the query for 'Bottom N Reports' which would be an input variable. Could you please let me know how this could be accomplished. I know I can create a Condition for 'Total time' key figure (As 'Bottom N' and have a default value set against it). But, I would like to do it at runtime instead of having a default value set.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    Hi Mann,
In the same place, click the button to choose a variable instead of setting a default value for the N. This would be of type Formula variable, and you can create one right here if nothing is available.
    Hope this helps...

  • Statistics - To get how many time a report has been run

    Hi Gurus,
I would like to know how many times each of the reports on the portal has been run. If I could get this by user id, that would be great.
Do you know where I can get such information?
    Regards
    Mathew

    Hi Guys,
This can not be done throug ST03/ST03N. For this you will have to either use the SAP delivered BI Statistics query which is built on 0TCT_M01 multiprovider. Make sure your data is upto date before you run the query.
Disadvantage of teh SAP delivered query is, it will not give you result which is older than 24 hrs. So basically it gives you oppourtinity to analyze only last 24 hrs data. If you want to modify the query, you can copy the query and modify as per your requirement.
Now coming to your question of finding how many times a report is run:
Question is how many queries do you have in your report. If your report contains one query only, there is free char in the query called Frontend Session. Everytime your execute the query you will have a new Frontend session ID.
So create a formula as counters for all values and set the exception aggregation based on Frontend session. This will give you the number of times each query executed. If you drill down by Users, you will get this numbers by users.
    - Danny.
