C Function - SSF_ABAP_SERVICE - Problem in return code.

Hi all,
We are actually executing a custom program with standard FM - CCARD_DEVELOPE which does a decryption of credit card number. This FM inturn calls another FM SSF_KRN_DEVELOPE which inturn calls C function SSF_ABAP_SERVICE.
It is working fine in Development server. But it is not working in quality.
Please find the C function below.
In Dev, for CRC(return code) we are getting '0'. So it is working fine. But in Quality, we are getting CRC ='9'. Because of this, decryption is not happening. Please let me know, what could be the problem, if it could be because of SAP authorization or any third party software to be installed for validation or anything else.

Hi Balaji!
It can't be something in the source code - that is the part which is identical in both systems (but please check your program version).
What's different is the surrounding. In theory it could be wrong master data ('credit card not found'), but this is unlikely for this function.
But you need also some connection settings - here something wasn't defined for quality system. Have a look in SM59 (and according, don't ask me for details), if connections settings are alright.

I have issue with "SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR" Job .it has been Finished but in Job Log I get error as below:

Hello Vijay,
The "Database system not supported" error you see, suggests that your TCOLL table is not setup correctly. You probably have a report scheduled in your TCOLL which is for a different DB then the one you run.
If the collector canels all the time, then this is probably a report which is scheduled to run every hour in your TCOLL. If it only cancels sometimes, then it should be easier to identify which report is causing it in your TCOLL.
The bottom line is to ensure your TCOLL is setup correctly and that you are not running DB reports there that are for a different DB than the one you use. The SAP note you follow to setup your TCOLL table depends on your SAP system version:

check SAP note 1309309 "Application Info" is missing. You probabyl need a new DBSL patch.
btw. istn't it funny that on an ORACLE database a DB6_DIAG_VIEW_SOURCE function module is used... ?

Mapping of Return code to Message class

My function module exports a return code in the variable l_ldaprc, there is a message class called ldaprc which has the text corresponding to the return code. Within my program i want to map this return code to the appropriate text in the message class so that i can display the text.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I could solve the issue as my Operation mode was inactive, I made it active and then could schedule the DB13 jobs.
Can you tell me what is the relationship between DB13 jobs scheduling and Operation mode. Also note when I am scheduling DB13 jobs that time none of the background job is running ie my background wp is free. It is only after I activated day/night operation mode, I could schedule the backup.

Traport importing problem with repeating return code error 8

Hi all,
We are facing some transport import problem.When we sent transport initially AAA900244,they faced with return code error 8 and syntax error 109.As the information provided by the client,one of the include program which is not availble at client system that was included in this transport.So that was the problem.Again we have taken new tranport AAA900247 without this include program then same type of error message they faced with return code error 8 and syntax error 109 in the include program when imported.
I have one doubt, when importing new transport this should overwrite the earlier transport data.Why the same type error client is getting.What might be the reason.
Is earlier transport imported?? Why it throwing same type error.What actually the fuctionality of Return code 8 whether it is imported or discarded.

That include is not at all required at client system.So next time when we have taken transport we have not included this include program.They imported new transport without this include program.But they are facing same error as they faced first time. What could be reason??

The problem with the return code of JOptionPane

I debug the follow code, when I press button No, return code is 0, but OpenXLSFile(ResultXSLName); executed, why?
the result is whether I press YES or NO, the if condition will be true
how to compare the return code?

Regarding return code 8 while importing trnsport request

i have encountered a problem while importing a transport request.
in log display the message is like this
ended with return code 8.
there is a syntax error in line no 5 of saplz_xxx_xxx program.
include program lz_xx_xx not found.
actually it is a function group, there is an include program at line no. 5.
how to solve this problem.
will it throw any error if the fg is stored in $tmp.
the function group concerned is stored in a customized package.
i hope to get a perfect answer.

Your include program at line 5 is missing in the target system and hence the error.
Just check the package of that include program and if it is not $tmp, check that this program is locked in which request ?
Transport that request to your target system and thereafter re-import your original transport and it will be success.

After the error generate, i again try to upload the same, now it is continue executing in MAIN IMPORT from last 2 Hr.
so please suggest me How to solve the same.
I have check all the Logs but it not seem to error message.

In past I already delete the SAPKKD70036. in directory and kill the TP process in Task manager (like it said in note 12746).
And after that I restarted the importing of SPAM... and still show me the same error it stuck in that process it show in status bar the information "MAIN IMPORT"
(By the way when I stopped the transaction I saw that this was in the phase IMPORT_PROPER !!)
What I have to do for solve this error and finish this simple import... spam importe!... I don´t get it!!

We are doing an upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.0, we have faced the below error (warnings) in the CHECKS.LOG file.

Here we don't have a BW team, but if I delete that will it lose any data? or how do I tackle this problem

Those extract structures can be "rebuilt" using the transaction SBIW. They are needed if you initially fill the data into BI/BW or if you must re-load everything. It's safe to delete them.
