C3-00 blank emails

Hi all,
some of the replied email ( and or long emails) appears as blank email on the email client. On the gmail web page I could make sure that the mail wasn't empty.
Does anyone had similar issue?
thanks,
Janos

Mahayv,
thanks for reply, however I have seen your exactly the same reply posted few posts earlier and I have already check it out. Yes, I DO have it all set exactly as you have posted earlier (and now). And yes again: it still doesn't work with exactly all the symptoms as I have posted in my first post.
As I've said in my first post, I don't have actual connection problem (wifi is working fine), it is the software update /  the browser  itself (again: not Opera which works fine, only the other browser that is part of this operating system can't see the connection) that doesn't work.
Here:
http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/941/imag0006sm.jpg
As you can see for yourself, my wifi connection is fine and working, yet the software update says "no network connection".
(edit - screen photo link added)
ACTUALLY, I have just tried the Ovi Store again (I haven't try it since yesterday) and after the same message it suddenly showed me new version to download, which I downloaded and installed already. So, Ovi Store works now (updated to latest version I presume).
BUT Sioftware Update still gives the same error message (no network connection blah blah blah). Is there any other way to force the update?
I have 8GB memory card for this phone, can I download the updated firmware on my PC, copy it to SD, and then force the phone update from the memory card somehow?
TIA
Any help appreciated, but please don't mark my thread as "solved" while MY problem HAS NOT been solved yet, thank you.

When I send emails using my iPad, some recipients are telling me that I am sending them blank emails.  I've had some of them forward the emails back to me so I can take a look and it seems that my message is actually there but the text is white.  Interestingly enough, I was a Windows user just a few months ago and I was on the receiving end of this same problem with someone who was sending emails from her iPhone.  I don't believe it is happening every time but if it happens even once it's a problem.  Any idea what's going on?

Oddly enough, having reported the problem it appears to have fixed itself. There may be some combination swipe gesture that triggers it is all I can think because I suddenly manged to zoom my display x3 by double tapping three fingers. Took me a while to sort this out but then when I got back home I could suddenly see all my emails again. Bizarre!

  • When I select a photo to email from "my pictures" or Picasa, Thunderbird is no longer opening a blank email with the photo attached.

I used to be able to select a photo in my pictures or Picasa, select size, select email, and a blank email would open in Thunderbird with the photo attached. I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere in Thunderbird that should be enabled.
    Hope someone can help.

  • Blank email body in Mac Mail

Both my wife and I are using Mac Mail 4.5 on Snow Leopard 10.6. We have both started to see the occasional blank email, i.e. all the headers appear as normal, but the body of the email is completely blank.
I have one recently that that was a receipt from a Paypal purchase (i.e. someone I receive emails from without problem all the time) that was blank. Bizarre. If I go to View > Message > Raw source, I can see the content of the message in plain text. If I go back in Time Machine all the way back to the day it arrived, it's still blank.
For my wife, her most recent blank email is one that she herself sent! Trying the View Raw Source trick doesn't work for her.
    Whats' going on here?
We've repaired permissions, rebuilt mailboxes... but to no avail.
Any help gratefully received - we can't operate business with blank emails!

  • Sending blank emails

My colleague has a problem with her email - when she emails someone with an attachment, the main email text disappears, as if she's sent a blank email.
It only seems to happen when she emails certain addresses, and even then not all the time, but we're tried changing the font and selecting plain text format, and it doesn't make any difference.
Messages without attachments are fine, and forwarding or replying with attachments is mixed, but whenever she starts the email and sends it to certain addresses the emails arrive blank, but with the attachment.
She's on OSX 10.9.1 and using Mac Mail 7.1
    Any ideas?

  • Rule for deleting blank emails

So I get maybe 20 blank emails a day -- spam that I assume is checking to see whether my address is bouncing email or not. No sender, no subject, no content.
I'd love to set up a rule that blows the email away upon receipt, maybe also sending a bounce back? In any case, I can't figure out how to decribe blank or null in the the sender field. Is there some code that mail will understand as null that I can use?
    Thanks,
    j

Don't waste your time using the Bounce feature for spam. Since spammers don't provide a valid sending or return email address, the only thing you will get for your efforts is a returned undeliverable message for each bounced message.
I created a "Ghost" spam rule in Mail.
I named my rule "Ghost" Spam.
If any of the following conditions are met:
Select From and Does not contain from the pop-up menus and enter @ in the space provided.

  • How do i fix Blank email in my iPad?

I have blank email on my iPad.  It was working and it just froze up. What do I do?

Did mail freeze or did the iPad freeze? Your statement is a little unclear to me.
If the iPad froze - Try this first - reset the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If mail froze but the iPad is OK. Quit mail and restart. Tap the home button once to go to the home screen. Double tap the home button to bring up the task bar with recent apps at the bottom. Find the mail app. Tap and hold down on the mail icon until it wiggles. Tap the red minus sign to close the mail app. Tap the screen above the task bar to return to the home screen.
Restart the iPad - hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut down. Hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears to power up again. Try Mail again.

  • Blank emails

    Hello, everybody!
I use Mac Mail to access my Gmail (IMAP) and my company's email account (Exchange). Every now and then, Exchange mails arrive and though I can read the headlines, the mails body is blank.
I've been reading a lot about this issue and there are quite a few workarounds that work:
Reading those mails on my iPhone
Moving the mail to a different folder
    Rebuilding the inbox mailbox
Deleting the "Envelope Index" files to force Mail rebuild the SQLite database
However, I still don't understand what is the root cause of this issue and how can I prevent it from recurring. Can somebody help me, please?
P.S. - These blank emails NEVER happen with Gmail IMAP account.

I actually, accidentally, found the solution. I had "All email" from gmail replicated by IMAP on my Mac. This created a huge redundancy, consuming a lot of space and making the Mail index painful.
I went to gmail settings (on the gmail.com site, not on Mail) and I said I didn't want "All mail" to be available on the IMAP syncronization. I never had any more problems since.

  • Is anyone getting multiple blank emails with December 31, 1969 in their mailbox? I am using hotmail.

Is anyone getting multiple blank emails? The send date on them is December 31,1969. I am using hotmail.

CLose the mail app completely and reset your iPad. No data will be lost.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Changed name, blank emails

I changed the name of my mail account, and now before a certain date have only blank emails. Is there any way I can get them back, or does changing the name do more than just change a name?

That should not result in the behavior you're seeing, so you've got something odd going on. What that might be, I don't know. You might want to try rebuilding the affected mailboxes (Mailbox -> Rebuild Mailbox). You should also try [repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417].
Is the account in question an IMAP or POP account?

Hi mathewjg, Not sure what the real problem is. I do not use web based email and I only occasionally use Internet Explorer 9. I do know that sometimes IE9 has been causing some problems.
Do you have another Browser to try. Something like Firefox or Google Chrome.
It might help with the problem.

  • New Blank Email appears under main window

Is it just me or does this happen to others as well:
Click and Hold on the Mail icon in the Dock.
In the pop-up menu select "Compose New Message"
For me the new blank email window appears under the main window every time.

Yes. I tried what you said in your first post before posting mine, and it works as expected on my computer, i.e. the New Message window appears on the front...
Look for additional information that may be available in the form of error messages written to the Console:
    1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
    2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that Console displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
    3. Reproduce the problem and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that might be written there as a result.
    <hr>
Try this to determine the scope of the problem:
    1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts and create a new user account for testing purposes.
    2. Either log out of your main user account or just quit Mail so that it does not interfere with the other user account.
    3. Log in as the newly created user and set up Mail anew there.
    4. For spam-related security reasons, go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
    5. If you set up a POP account, go to Preferences > Accounts > Advanced and disable Remove copy from server after retrieving a message if it’s enabled, to avoid messages being accidentally removed from the server while testing.
    6. Check whether the problem also happens when logged in as another user.

  • Outlook 2010 receive blank email content

    Hi,
Recently, our company has upgraded the computer from Windows XP to Windows 7 and the Office 2000/Office 2003 to Office 2010. Some of the users start to receive the emails with subject and from/to email address but without email content.
Those upgraded Office 2010 with English and Traditional Chinese version. Our internal programs would send out a list of HTML format emails to users everyday. Those users would receive blank email randomly. For the users who still haven't upgraded machine,
all the emails are still working normally.
Our computers are working on a domain, but we didn't use any exchange server.
I did try to change the Color of the font and change to safe mode to open, but the problem still the same.
For example, the same email to user A and user B. User A can receive the email normally, but User B got the blank content email. However, User A and B also setup an auto-forward to Gmail mail account. Both users also can got the email normally from the
Gmail accounts. I have tried to "Rely" or "Forward" that blank email, also no content display. And I did try "View Source" or "View in Browser" for that email, it is blank as well.
It is very strange that as the blank emails are received very random. For example, User A will receive 9 mails per day. The blank email will occur in any of these 9 mails in any days in a week. Monday, you can receive the normal email for Mail 1, and you
may receive a blank Mail 1 on Tuesday and then Wednesday, you will receive the normal Mail 1 again.
Our company is using OfficeScan, however, we haven't enabled the "Mail Scan" feature. Some of our new machines have installed AV software, I have disabled the mail scanning feature already. However, we found that the Wins7 (ENG) - Microsoft Office
Home and Business 2010 (ENG) with AV software, still can receive the normal without problem.
    Our Finding:
    OS Version
    Office Version
    Bank Email Randomly
    Wins7 (ENG)
Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 (ENG)

    Any ideas?

If I understand correctly, this behavior only happen when user receive the emails from Outlook, and if we try to view the email from the web access, the emails will be displayed as expected?
Based on my research, this behavior - receiving blank emails - is mainly caused by the Anti-virus.
In my experience, disable or turn off the Anti-vitus, sometimes won't work as expected. (Sometimes we even need to remove them.)
My suggestion is, find one of the affected machine, run Windows in
clean boot mode - this will exclude 3rd-party services when starting Windows - for a period of time, and check if this behavior will still occur.

    Thx for your reply.
You mean the OfficeScan will cause this problem. As I know some of the machines have installed AVG as well, but some people couldn't receive the correct email, some did.
If it is really related to anti-virus software, what should I do to keep the anti-virus software as our company is required to install and also solve the blank email issue?

  • Why am I suddenly sending blank emails from my ipad third generation. The emails are received but nothing is in them.

Suddenly I seem to be sending blank emails to everyone from my third generation ipad. They receive the email but nothing is in it yet if I look at my sent mail it appears there. What happened?

Hi, ybg, and welcome to the Community,
Your detailed report (thank you) indicates to me your account has been compromised a second time.  Change your Skype account password immediately if you have not already done so, as well as that of any saved payment method on file.  I would also run a maintenance cycle on your computer/laptop, ensuring all patches and updates are installed.  Also run your preferred anti-virus/malware/spyware suite using the most recent virus signature files available.
You are right to contact Skype Customer Service to report this incident.  I have read that people experience problems reaching them, however please do continue to do so, choosing a different path through the various steps than you used the first time; try also using a different web browser.  I have also read that the instant message chat sessions with Customer Service agents appear as a pop-up dialogue box, which needs to be enabled or the connection to the agent will not process.
Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
As a general proactive precaution, I would recommend reviewing how you access the internet, particularly seeking any vulnerabilities or patterns common to the first incident and this one.
    Regards,
    Elaine
